debiting my bank account without my permission
Xbox live membership has been debiting my debit card without my permission, back in May the debited my account 7 times for $10.81 my bank kept stating that since it was a debit transaction they could not stop it so they provided me with another debit card and this was supposed to stop the merchant from debiting the account again. in june the randomly debited the account this time for a total of $165.34 throughout the month. I got a hold of my bank today again to complain again and they are attempting to resolve the issue. I just hope they dont attempt to debit my account again!

locked out of account
Skype has locked me out of my account and refuses to refund the balance I have there. I cannot figure out why they have locked me out. To unlock the account they require a as security questions a long list of information which I have no idea what the answer is, for example what method of payment I used with them last, the amount, the date of the purchase, the exact month and year I signed up for skype. I consider Skype's tactics to be fraudulent, they seem to be trying to lock people out of their accounts so they can claim the unused balance. I advise everyone to find an alternative to Skype and do not do business with them.

My daughter was abroad. Microsoft closed her hotmail account without warning or checking. She has now spent days trying to get it re-opened with all the correct information, All they do is re-send the same form. This is a desperate situation as she cannot access any emails or contact numbers. Microsoft are unable and unwilling to help just sending her around in circles.

This is the skrewiest thing in the world. I can't play my tv shows without going through the Xbox. The voice commands work some of the time. The device does not connect to a home network, so in order to play a movie I have on my computer, I have to stream it manually from the computer. My internet went out so now I can only stare at the thing. IT IS NOT A GAMING SYSTEM. IT IS AN ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM, THAT JUST SO HAPPENS TO PLAY GAMES. The Xbox 360 was much better and it could connect to everything way better than this piece of junk. I had hoped to stay loyal to Xbox after paying their Xbox live fees for 8 years, but it looks like that isn't going to happen.

I bought new HP 1000 series notebook in Tata Croma. I am fine with HP. But problem with Software Provider "Microsoft Windows". Still now i can't even ale to install single apps from windows store and i can't even update apps from windows store. Though when i connect to internet windows is updating. But nothing works in windows store. I am unable to upgrade my windows 8 to 8.1. Though i checked with windows 8.1 upgrading assistant to suitability, it shows my notebook is compatible to upgrade to 8.1. When i click download in windows store for 8.1, it show "Your Windows 8.1 Installation couldn't be Completed. Please try again". I tried "n" number of times but same message. I checked with any pending updates. But everything is updated. I checked whether any hidden updates but it shows no hidden updates. Even i contacted Microsoft technical support. A tech remotely connected my laptop and checked for issues for more than 1 hour. After that he told me you had to re-install the windows 8. Very Disappointed, because after utilizing 1 GB of my 3G Data. This is the answer.I think Microsoft doesn't bother about consumer Welfare. They don't know how much 3G data cost in India. If they provide any free wi-fi hotspot in selected areas we can move their co-operate with them to solve the issues. They just profit because the mistakes or errors from operating system make them to create more knowledge management system. We too spend on their R&D indirectly. Before buying windows 8 installed pc, laptop, netbook, tablets etc think wise. This is my advice.

Just bought a new laptop with WIndows 8.1. Ordered it on line before trying in store. Had I tried it in the store I would have bought a barren laptop and installed Linux. One of the nice features of Windows previously was a relatively easy transition from old versions to new versions. Not so in the travesty called WIndows 8. Whoever created this POS PITA was obviously delusional, high on contaminated LSD, and so far out they had no clue. My GOD! What was Redmond thinking. This pile of junk ( and I lack the necessary superlatives to call it what it really is) needed to be released to WWII Germany and Japan. It would have shut the Axis down in hours. Never have I encountered such an expensive boat anchor creating product. Redmond's marketing arm obviously has no scrupples. Calling this an advancement is comparable to calling dulling the blade on a guillotine a pivotal technological advancement.
I recently bought a $200.00 copy of Windows 8 which was upgraded to 8.1 when I installed it. I am having a ton of trouble watching video and playing online games, they slow down badly and I am unable to find an error upon troubleshooting. I called MS Store to switch Office 365 2013 paid subscription from one e-mail to another e-mail account. Both e-mails are my MS account. First, Yasi (call center Philippines) placed me on hold for 2 1/2 hours. Then Asia (call center Philippines) placed m on hold for another 30 min. They gave me a ref# [protected], said someone will get back to me. So, 3 hours later, no resolution to my problems. This is an example of horrible customer experience. MS can do better.

Got a phone call and she said she was with Microsoft and my computer had a problem and they needed to fix it. I played along but did not turn on computer. She told me several things to punch in. Then she put a man on phone and he wanted some numbers off the screen. I said you suppose to have all my numbers. Then he said we need to fix your computer. I asked how much it would cost me and he said its according to what all is wrong. I said no, nothing wrong with my computer and that this was a scam and hung up. He called me back 2x and I finally just stopped answering phone. Two days prior to this, someone tried to take over my computer and Mc took care of it. I guess they tried the phone. These people were Indian People or somewhere over there.

This morning, my son went to sign in on-line and had to go through Microsoft's security check process. I ended up having to change the account password to enable him to sign into his account and to check this was successful, I tried signing into his account on a PC. However, as part of this, as the parent in charge of his Family Live account, I had to provide Microsoft with proof that I was an adult. The only way for this, according to the site, was to give Microsoft my credit Card Details and they would charge me 50 Cents and donate a portion to charity.
I was appalled.
Firstly, are Microsoft that hard up that they need to rip customers off for even more money? Secondly, I believe this charge to be illegal as Microsoft are not supplying any products or services for this fee. They DO NOT have to charge for checking if you are an adult through Credit Card details provided. Thirdly, there is no mention of what charity they are providing for, nor the option to opt out of this donation. Some people feel strongly about certain charities and will not donate to them, but no information is provided for people to make the choice.
It is not about how much MS are charging, as I know it is a small amount. This has been poorly thought out by MS and just goes to show the greed of the company as a whole, and the loyal followers are yet again made to suffer for it.
I am today selling my Xbox and moving to the Sony Playstation. At least they have more of an idea about looking after their customers than Microsoft...

earn microsoft cash is such a scam, they would not refund my $97.00 fee to look at their product for 30 day trial when i filled out all on line I received a paper trail with a note said call here to start and I did they called said someone would get back soon with me and they did at least 10 calls in 30 minutes. the first person I got told me to think of 5 reasons why I would like to work from home and make alot of money well we all know why we would like to do this right, well they said they would get back in 1 hour with me and they did again. and this guy talked my ear off for 2 hours kept telling me that you have to spend so money to make money, when I asked how much money he would change the subject he had me lessoning he was a good talker and I wanted to hear what he had to say BUT that is what I was doing just lessoning. he told me he could hear in my voice that I was getting tired and he would call the next night to see if I thought over what he had to say and he did call. again I was on the phone for another 1 1/2 hours he wanted to talk to my husband but I did not want him to talk to him I wanted to find out about this company before I spoke to my husband. I asked many times how much it was going to cost me to get my business going his remark " How can you put a price on what it will cost to start your business if your going to be making $16, 000.00 - $25, 000.00 in your first month?" after a long drawn out conversation he finally told me it would cost me $5000.00 to get started, which would include internet access, private tutoring, products . 24 hour helpline and leads. When he said $5000.00 I knew right then it was a scam I told him I was not interested that I believed this was a scam and I wanted my money refunded now. I was told I had to look the product over for a full 30 days before I could cancel, we ended up in a huge confortation where they hung up on me. I was PISSED needless to say, I called back spoke to someone else to them I did not want this product to cancel it an bill my card back and I got the same answer, So I called my bank and they tried to call the number on my card statement with merchant # and also tried to look up the website, they sent the company a dispute letter my money was refunded but two weeks later they recharged me the $97.00 again. once again on the phone with the bank. I have been on the phone every month now with them because I am being charged $8.87 per month and not getting anything in return except a HEADACHE. This is a Scam. Microsoft Advertised free trial for there program. Just pay $1.97 for postage and they would send software to evaluewaite. They pulled $49.95 out of my account. I notified my card holder and the following month

Bought an OEM version of Microsoft Win 7 Home Premium, thinking OK...Windows 8 is out but prefer Win 7.
Bought the software attempted to load it and it would not validate online, which means it will not validate even if I called Microsoft. Giving some benefit to buycheapsoftware.com, I emailed and told them I was not able to validate. Got and email back from a Melissa Monroe, asking if it was an OEM I purchased and which one software and they'll replace the key code with a valid one? Funny, you'd think they have the order number and would know exactly what I purchased. I simply replied back "Yes, it was an OEM purchased from your company".

This latest email was enough to want to say "SCAMMERS!" Their emails does not include a trail of previous correspondences regarding the order. How can a company who sells software NOT know the disc comes with the key code? For all I know, faxing them the key code would just be sold to someone else. The someone else needs to be aware that OEM versions only work with specific manufactures. Beware and its safer not to ANYTHING FROM THEM!

I have not had access to my hotmail account for over a month. when i try to log in it says my password is incorrect. i tried to answer my security questions and it says it cannot be verifed. when i try to submit the form, the form is kicked back to me saying not enough information is entered for hotmail to verify my identity. So, i called hotmail customer service and spoke to jack who obviously was not a jack (maybe jackhububaba) or something. and he told me that an unauthorized user had been added to my account and sending spam mail to ppl . in order for his techs to fix the problem i would have to pay 60.00. i told him no way and i just wantted the account closed. he said in order to close the account it was 60.00 but it would provide me tech support for a 2 years. i told him i dont want support, i want it closed. after going round and round, basically its 60.00 to do anything to it. i asked him what happens if i just keep it open he said hotmail will call me eventually bc of complaints that my email is spamming ppl . i said well maybe then u will close it. .. i called today hoping to speak to someoene else regarding the issue and i got jessica...who was obviously not jessica...EXTREMELY NOT helpful and rude. told me its 100.00 to fix the problem or close the account. she said in order to get access to the account to close it they require the 100.00 but if they cannot fixt the problem they will close at no cost to me. yeah right...how do i know its not a scam for hotmail to get money... she told me there was no reason to keep discussing this with me she had other ppl calling so if i wasnt going to pay 100.00 i should just hang up... i told her hotmail was the worst piece of ### ever and thanks for their fking help..i STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO USE HOTMAIL...VERY RUDE NOT HELPFUL

We were promised a full refund of the fifty euros if not satisfied. Coming up to Christmas we simply cannot afford to spend money on this scam.
