Microsoft Double billing

Since Sept of 2021 I have been getting doubled billed each month by Microsoft for use of their services. I have not been able to talk with a representative. When calling their phone number you are referred to a website that gives you no help with your problem. I was able to chat with someone on line but was told that the problem was one they could not resolve. They suggested that I contact my bank to discontinue the withdrawals from my account. The bank informed me that they would need to close my account to do that. Also that Microsoft should be able to stop the double billing. So far I have been overcharged $85.

Desired outcome: Double billing stopped and my money that I was overcharged refunded.

Microsoft Subscription of microsoft 365 office

Hi guys

In March 2021 I purchased on line the family edition of Microsoft Office 365 (Family edition).

In about May 2021 my laptop had to go away for repair and they wiped off all programs. I needed to reload the Office software again and there were 4 other licences left on my subscription.

I went to my Microsoft account and could not find the Office software, it had gone. Was reqesting that I buy a new subscription. Contacted Microsoft and they researched it, they asked for proof of purchase and dates etc and they eventually came back and said they have no record of me buying it and they took until Sept 2021.

1st November 2021, I bought a new subscription of Office 365 as my wife needed to study.

This month, March 14th, I was billed by Microsoft for a repeat subscription of Microsoft Office which must be a renewal of the the subscription I bought in March 2021. It is not showing on my Microsoft account, so I am unable to cancel it and I am unable to contact Microsoft by phone or email.

Phone messages direct me to online help that tells me to cancel it on my account but I do not know what account it is linked to.

I need a way to contact them, get a refund and cancel this as I will get billed every year.

Desired outcome: I need a refund of £79.99I need the link cancelled that will bill me every year.

Microsoft my Microsoft account

Microsoft has blocked me from my business email since Jan 26th. My secondary email has changed because i left that job and since they wont let me sign in I cannot change my secondary email. I have been on the online chat for two months. No change. I am also very concerned that when i turn on my personal pc the login seems to be the old hotmail address i cannot access and the same password for that email. I am worried that one day i wont be able to even access my own computer. That will effectively shut down my business. I have gone to the online chat forum for Microsoft and asked for tech support for this issue. They say they are connecting me to an agent. No agent has ever come online to assist me. I have lost sleep over all this and my business has been affected as I am getting work emails that i cannot access.

Desired outcome: I need to actually speak with someone to sort this out. This is not rocket science.

Microsoft Microsoft 365 office software 2022

Yesterday (3/6/22) I made the mistake of purchasing Microsoft 365 Office online due to getting repeat messages that my Excel software was “unlicensed product.” I couldn’t afford to be locked out of my documents so I bought it and installed it online. Really messed up my desktop computer. I asked for tech help through a chat. I was 7th in line for service. The tech page demanded that I not leave that page or I would lose my place in line. I waited in line from 6:15 PM to 10:30 PM. They only waited on 6 people in over a 4-hour period. My issue was that during their installation, I lost multiple Word documents. Finally, the tech didn’t know which end was up so he transferred me to regular tech support through a chat. He indicated that my estimated wait time for a chat with them was 10 minutes. I decided to keep my computer page open to see exactly when they would respond. It turned out to be 1:43 AM. Ten minute wait time turned into over 3 more hours! Did they really expect me to wait until close to 2:00 AM for an answer? I just assumed the first tech transferred me to a department that was closed for the day. Ridiculous. So I waited a total of seven hours and my problem was never resolved. Luckily, I have a backup system and recovered all of my computer documents, but it took 4 hours to do so.

Microsoft obviously rolled out their 365 Office software when it wasn’t ready to be released. Has lots of bugs. I noticed today that I’m having other issues with my computer now that I did not have prior to the installation of this junk. Buffering. Photos blinking when I click on them, etc. I had already purchased Word/Excel a couple of years ago and didn’t plan to update it until I needed a new computer. Apparently, Microsoft is so desperate for money that they have to charge $100 every year now for their 365 Office software. Previously, they would allow you to use it for 2 years and it was transferrable if you changed computers, then it changed to one time use per computer. Now it is every year. Money grubbing at its best. Microsoft sells inferior software. They should be ashamed of themselves, not only for inferior software and money grubbing, but no customer service whatsoever. My question is: Am I going to have to go through this every year when I renew?

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and at least a $50 Amazon gift card for my wasted time.

Microsoft Gambino 777Games Charge Not Authorized

Noticed a charge on a credit card for $213.99, on Jan.3, 2022. It was a charge for purchasing coins, for a Gambino game 777. I absolutely did not authorize this. I've had trouble with their games for almost 7 weeks. Filtering spins forever, game reels spins for a full minute all the time. I would never buy more coins with all this going on. I went to Microsoft to find out "what's up", and my account is locked. It's impossible to find out what's going on. --Last week, there were two charges to my bank account, thru PayPal from Microsoft. I didn't make these purchases either. Paypal checked into it, and refunded my money to bank acct. Microsoft is doing shady business (?) Why so hard to get thru to them to ask questions?

Desired outcome: Want to contact them person to person

Microsoft Microsoft rewards team

Can anyone tell me if Microsoft rewards team have managers?
Since November 2021 I have being asking for one, and still waiting.
I have emailed over 30 times and got the same crap answer back.
Now I want to talk to a manager, thats not hard you understand that, but not the rewards team oh no thats to technical, to hard to action that request, or they cant read english, in that case your in the wrong job.
Had enough of the idiots with giving the same answer all the time, its given the manager may be busy, but after months of waiting, really, your that busy you cant send an email to say that... mmmmmmm.
I think the way rewards treat there customers is dam right rude and now getting stupid, hire some people who can do a better job than those doing it now, truth be told anyone can do a better job than those doing it now.
Simple request. I need to TALK to a manager.
If that request is to technical please leave a message and will try to make it easier to understand.

Desired outcome: TALK to me

i just found this due to the cell app now including ads [questionable move]. since they added that feature i have had MORE spam in my inbox than in the past. the kicker to remove ads you need to get the subscription to 365. reporting concerns to their settings to report spam/messages of concerning reasons...doesn't block them server side. i probably need to manually enter them into the block list when im on my main computer. i think i reported the SAME email who is clearly a scammer to them and facebook [i dont have a facebook account] 100 times now. i havent tried directly emailing but its concerning why they are making these moves.

Microsoft Office 365

I had received messages that my Office 365 subscription renewal date was approaching. So on July 27, 2021 I paid for a one year renewal in the amount of $108.24.

On October 8, 2021 I saw that Microsoft had deducted $108.24 from my account for Office 365. I contacted them and they refunded $108.24 but at the same time cancelled my subscription. So the $108.24 that I had paid no longer allowed me access. The amount I paid in July was in advance of the due date so essentially, I never got the subscription service for that payment.

When I address this issue with Microsoft online help - it repeatedly indicates it doesn't have information for my issue.

Desired outcome: I want my subscription fee of the $108.24 refunded, and then I will purchase a new subscription. Hopefully, that will clear things up and I will once again have access.

Microsoft Microsoft account access

Two times today I contact Microsoft Text Customer Service, since MS has no real customer service. The first hussy told me to turn off Windows Defender 4 times. Then she told me to NEVER turn off Windows Defender "no matter what". Never addressed the issue of my not being able to get access to my Window Account so I could install a scanner. Why the HELL do I have to have permission from a Microsoft Account to install anything on my computer? Hussy's name is Coleen.

Second time it's a jerk name Argel John. Equally useless. Never suggested any correction to get access. He told me to access another Technical Support and gave me the web address. PROBLEM. I need the same Microsoft Account access I can't get Access to to get into this site.

I get this message from Useless Argel John:
Kindly stay on the line while I'll be endorsing you over to them. Please be advised, that due to high volume of chats, it may take a while than usual to get you transferred to the next support team. But no worries, I'll be sending you now on their queue. I really appreciate the patience. Thank you for reaching Microsoft Support. Take care! Microsoft License Transfer

Have had a license for 2 weeks and need to transfer it to a new computer. Microsoft says I can, but need to do it through tech support as I'm working n a Mac.

Was on hold for over 3.5 hours today. Hung up on three times. Each time I was disconnected I had to start over with the call back process until I was told online that I'd reached my call back limit. How many days do they think I have to do this?

Desired outcome: Transfer my license

Microsoft Microsoft 365

My account is [protected]@logaritm.ae
Phone: +[protected]

I created my business email with Microsoft in the UAE.
I am currently in Algeria and recently I changed my password and it was accepted.
When I wanted to login again, I got a message that the password is wrong.
I called Microsoft Algeria and tried many times to recover the account and every time I was informed that the verification information that I provided is wrong.
I depend a lot on the email for my business and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with the response I get from Microsoft.

Microsoft Xbox/Xbox live

Twice now I've been banned messaging someone that had a negative impact on my life. Microsoft at times seems to encourage toxic behavior and punishes those who speak up about it. The perpetrator finds how you may have violated terms of service and reports you, doesn't even matter that they were the person who was toxic and creating negative waves. I am unable to communicate with friends and there is little explanation as to what I did to get banned. Pretty messed up I pay them money to have this happen.

Desired outcome: A more thorough investigation into why the person is reacting the the person making the report.

Microsoft Windos 365

I purchased windows 365 to replace Office 2010 which is no longer supported.
The download appears to have been successful but cannot find information on the new apps.

Have tried to resolve issues using MS online info. without success. calls to support just keeps sending me back to website.

Does the Office 10 information in Outlook, Word, Excel transfer to Windows 365? Does transfer have to be done manually? Can Office 2010 be deleted without loosing all the existing information?

How can we talk to a human after all web tools have not helped?

Desired outcome: Talk to someone who can help answer questions.
