charged but no service, no refund
I was searching for Canada Visa application online and I filled up a lot of personal information and in the end it directed me to pay for this compulsory consultation fee of nearly 100 Canada dollar in August 2019. The only email I received was my Client-ID in Migration Expert and my email address.
Now I looked back this email and the link provided in the email does not work with error: 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
I tried to search for the website: https://www.migrationexpert.ca/visa_canada/
Again it says: 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.

This is a scam company who has asked for personal information, charged me and no service has been serviced.
guided visa application service
I applied using an existing business, which was the top search engine hit for official visa applications for SA citizens, Migration Expert UK. Their Guided Tourist Visa Application seamlessly took me through a payment process and there the service stopped. I found that they were unable to assist with my visa - which they also stated in one item of correspondence, even recommending an alternative website.
This resulted in me having to pay for a visa again, including express service changes, via another visa application centre.
Interestingly my refund application to Migration Expert UK was rejected citing 3-pages of terms and conditions. In subsequent discussions I have encountered other travellers, including one British citizen, have been left out of pocket by this company.
A charge no service and no refund
I am planning a uk visit in may 2013.
Vivited visa sites for uk. Went to government agency and my visa obtained.
Visited migration expert, asked for credit card details which i provided. I did not know i was charged until i received a statement of diners card.
I have asked for a refund since they did not assit in the visa, i merely visited their site by mistake but they have refused. Amount r2200 dr r pather
Looking at their website I found out that Migration Expert is an Immigration Law firm. If you are looking for immigration advice, or to hire an immigration consultant to handle your application, then they are a good option for your needs. This company is registered with the Office of Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC), so they are definitely accountable for what they do.
If you are not looking for an Immigration agent/consultant, and you want to do your application yourself, then you should just go straight to the UK Border Agency (UKBA) and apply there.

They ate my 112€ as well. I thought I paid for short term visa for UK but it was just the ### hole guide notes what I have to prepare. I would have give them those guide notes in free but they charged me 112 €. Pissed off.
