Mister Car Wash review: I have had it with this place. 1

I have been coming here for a long time at least 2 years. There have been issues before with the car wash leaving my tires dirtier than they were before the car went in due to the grime from the cars in front of me getting rubbed off onto my tires. I have also had swirl marks on my car which can kind of be expected from an automatic car wash but nothing serious. About 2 months ago I was taking my car through the wash. With my car being a jag, it has headlight washers that pop out and spray the headlights when you put your windshield washer on. There are little covers that recede back into the body of the car when its done. I actually noticed this a day later because I inspect my car frequently and didnt get out to hand dry my car after I got done the wash. Well the car wash ripped my headlight washer cover off. I went back to the car wash and told them what happened and they said they didnt find a headlight washer cover in their car wash. Mind you they looked for about 2 minutes. I thought to myself to give THEM the benefit of the doubt that maybe there's a slight chance in hell that somehow it just randomly fell off. Now i only use my car to get back and forth to work. I also live in the country not in an area where you need to parallel park so there really no other explanation as to why this happened and I didnt turn my windshield washer on until i was in the areas where it dries off your car so it had to have been the pressurized air that did this. I let it go because I could get a replacement part for like $20 on Ebay. Now... About a week ago I took my car through the wash (I had gone through it several times between the first incident and this incident with no issues). When I was going in they have those big black cylinders that come in and hit the front of your car and then move towards the sides. When I went in, The right washer smacked the front right side of my car and shook the car a little bit and moved to the side. I didnt really think that this would do what it did to my car. I got out, dried the car by hand and didnt notice it right away again because I didnt think it would have done this to my car. A couple days later I noticed what these pictures are showing. If you are glancing at the car you cant notice it right away but when you do notice it you cant unsee it. If this was perhaps another car, a shopping cart, or anything besides the washer there would have been scuffs or scratches on my paint and theres not. Think about any possible outcome of things that would dent your car but not scratch it. It was definitely a malfunction with their machine. I take extremely good care of my car and watch it like a hawk. When you are going through the car wash you dont expect things like this to happen because you trust that their machinery is not going to do this type of damage to your car. I went to the mister car wash yesterday to talk to a manager. At first they acted like they couldnt notice anything of course. I showed them the areas. They began looking at other parts of my car which they didnt have to do do because I didnt say it did any damage elsewhere, just those 2 areas. They also said that they measure the dimensions of your car so that the car wash doesnt hit your car too hard. I NEVER saw them measure the dimensions of my car. They said it would have taken substantial impact to do that to my car after I just got done telling them that my car shook when the washer hit my car. When it comes down to it, going back to something else hitting my car, there would have been scratches or scuffs unless a giant teddy bear tackled the front bumper of my car. I'm waiting to hear back from the owner as to what theyre going to do. Take responsibility for your malfunctioning machinery. There are other reviews on the web about this place doing damage to cars, brand new cars, so I'm not the only one and half of the people that do get their car damaged probably dont notice it or dont realize where it came from. They better hope they take responsibility for this.
