Zips Car Wash Rip Off!

Was a member of the unlimited wash club a couple of years ago. Seemed like every time I went there something wasn't working right. So, I quit it. A few months ago they put in new equipment. So thought I would give them another try. So tonight the Maize Rd in Wichita KS location brushes weren't spinning and the strips that are supposed to scrub the hood and top weren't moving. So, needless to say my car didn't clean at all. When I went to the employee on duty, I was told I could go back through. As if that is going to change anything. I was also told that corporate knew that half the car wash wasn't working but are glad to take your money anyway! I will never use a Zips car wash again. Not when there are several competitors that actually take care of their equipment and get your car clean. I spent $20 and my car looks just as dirty as before I went in. This company is a total rip-off! My advice .. avoid this company completely! I would give it zero stars if I could.

Recommendation: Avoid Zips They don't care about their customers

This is a complete joke! You gave Zips Car Wash another chance after their equipment failed you before, and they still can’t get it right. It’s outrageous that they’d let you go through a car wash that doesn’t work and then have the nerve to tell you to go through again. Ridiculous!

First, go back to that location and demand a full refund. Tell them you’re not interested in excuses or running through broken equipment again. You paid for a clean car, and they failed to deliver.

If they don't resolve it, take your complaint straight to social media. Post your experience, tag Zips Car Wash, and make sure everyone knows how they’re running their business. Companies hate bad publicity, and this will put pressure on them to make things right.

Hello the worst experience at zips car wash on Dixie highway Louisville ky

in June,2023 my windshield was broken by the equipment after a car wash I've pleed with this company to repair my windshield through several phones calls spoken with several employees Kyle west has denied me over and over I've requested to speak with his boss denied theyre video shows my windshield wasn't broken before i pulled in also one of the employees came out she took pictures sent the report to the main office Kyle west I'm on a fixed income dealing with alot of health issues I've tried my best getting assistance

Zips Car Wash Car Washes

I paid $75.00 for the last 3 months and the little boys working there tells me I'm out of washes then tried my Debit card was declined when I haven't even used not even 10 car washes in 3 months now they tell me I'm out of Car Washes to me that's ridiculous!And I ask to speak to the manager and the 2 little boys working said there wasn't a manager workind!I would like to find out why this is?😑

I went thru your car wash on 1/28/24 Sunday and paid $18 for a car wash that was to wash my hole car. But when I was swiping it out. I seen lower half my car was still dirty and wheel well and rims didn't even look like they were touched. You have high price fine but car wash does a [censored]ty job. This car wash has been in operation for over a year and I have sent several emails to their head office and talked to the local car wash people about the high-frequency noise that we can hear in every room in our house, even with all the windows closed. So far they have not done anything to resolve this problem. I hope to avoid filing a lawsuit against them...

Zips Car Wash The car wash membership

On October 25th I visited your car wash in Sevierville Tenn. I was told by the attendant that if I signed up for the promotion I could get as many washes in the week. I told him we were only visiting for the week and would return to Michigan at the end of the month. he told me that the promotion would cancel at the end of the month. Then on November 24th on my credit card statement I saw a charge for 45.00 dollars and when I called I was told I sighed up for membership at the time in Tenn. I asked for a cancel on this and was told I was too late to stop the charge and there was no refund. This is a poor business practice as far as I am concerned. I will file a complain with the BBB in Tenn. I will never return to your car wash again. As far as I am concerned its a rip off!

Zips Car Wash Approved reimbursement for damage not received

July 7, 2023, our side mirror and antenna were damaged in Zips carwash in Baxter, MN. Their own video confirmed the machine malfunctioned. We received an approved reimbursement email. We were told over a phone call I believe, that we would recieve the check in 4 to 6 weeks. To date, we have made many phone calls to their customer service and sent them many emails. We still have not received the reimbursement check for nearly $600. They lie and lie and have stated more than once that we would get the check in about a week. Still nothing!

Desired outcome: Reimbursement check today!

The attendant seemed to have problems swiping my card. She tried 3-4 times before it worked. I joked with her about being charged multiple times, and sure enough I was charged twice. This occurred about 2:00 PM on October 29. I tried calling to get it straightened out but phone prompts said my specific problem could only be solved by going back to the facility.

Zips Car Wash Bottled cleaner and rags

We were notified our monthly subscription would be raising due to extras that will be in place, including the bottle cleaner and rags. At first it was good and we didn’t mind paying the monthly extra, but now, every time we go there is no cleaner in the bottles or no bottles out at all. I’m super frustrated. Seems the workers don’t want to refill the bottles.

ZIPS says, You may of seen a new charge from ZIPS Car Wash for your monthly re-bill amount. This charge is a catch-up charge to settle account balances for the month of April and is the first charge that you should see by ZIPS Car Wash after the recent transition from Detrick's., I'll wait and go to Detrick's in North Myrtle Beach. Zips Car Wash Carwash the old plan and new

8/29/2023 It's Tuesday now , but it started last Friday. I went in to ask questions about RENEWEL. I HAD CANCELLED BECAUSE their broken, lacking equipment, I was greeted by an older man that said , We'll just charge you $10 and start you ALL OVER AGAIN, woo, Woo. It was originally 18.99 for monthly full service, now he was going to upcharge me to maybe$45.

I waited today, Tuesday, called their Call center, Then the operator would finally tell me $35 per month. Well I had emailed this "same named" operator ALL week-end long, No clear answer. So I finally had the information, the website "wouldn't take the order". I WENT TO THE CAR WASH location on Hwy 501, 29577. . . THE machine wouldn't take the order! Pushed help, NO one!. . . picked a $15 carwash to get the hell out of there! I moved forward and entered the Guide Rail. The girl was on the cell phone, PUFF, she disappeared. I had to back up to the gate, the older man finally came around the building. Junk wash!

Desired outcome: Carwashes for life, they had 1 cart with towels! I'm handicapped, I got their bottle sprayed my hubcaps, came home and put more tire black on.

Zips Car Wash Mud Flap Chewed up

I just went thru the car wash located in North Myrtle Beach, 4404 Hwy 17 which has been closed for a month and it chewed up my right rear mudflap. It was twisted back up the tire and when pulled down it was all chewed up. I never had a problem before after numerous car washes.

Also, this car wash was closed for over a month, and I am a member and would like a refund of my monthly dues.

Desired outcome: Pay for mud flap replacement and refund one month's dues.

Zips Car Wash Broken sprayer broken vacuums

I've been coming to zips for years before They were even zips then they came in and The price of the monthly membership is gone up and the quality of service has gone down. Luiz Is the greatest worker that's been there consistently over the years. About 4 months ago, the sprayer stop working. I called and told the people at the office and they said they would get right on it, but it hasn't been fixed. The actual convert that takes us through the car. Wash has been broken for about a month. Somebody needs to fix that place, Or I'm gonna move to the new car wash in town. And quit raising the rates!

Zips Car Wash Damage to property

I own property that Butts up to Zips Carwash. Carwash employees stacked piles of heavy objects against my 6’ privacy fence, chains draped over the fence and Zips customers have ran into my fence trying to enter the actual wash area. The local manager has stopped responding to my attempts to have my fence repaired. I’ve called corporate multiple times and the only support I’ve received from them was providing me with the email address of the manager. This has gone on for well over a year now. Two full sections of fence are laying on the ground, multiple boards are broken in multiple places and the volume of trash thrown over the fence onto my property is astounding! This past weekend, someone had thrown huge sections of insulation board over the fence into my backyard yard. Zips employees tore an opening into a 4’ section of fence that Zips butted against my fence because they didn’t want to walk around their building. The whole thing looks awful and it’s shameful the owner, manager, multiple employees I’ve spoken with and and Zips corporate have strung me along so long when it’s Zips employees that have destroyed my property and Zips customers that have driven into my fence. Keep in mind, when you enter a Zips Carwash there is an employee directing your vehicle placement. It is at this very point that vehicles are driving into my fence and breaking planks and posts.

Desired outcome: I began by offering (and what the manager gave verbal agreement to), Zips would purchase the raw materials (at the time is was $1915 in material cost) and I would have it torn rest of the way down, loaded and hauled off, as well as rebuilt.

I signed up for a membership June 4,2023 and when I signed up I was told that I could cancel my membership at any time. On July 3rd I went to zips.com and canceled my membership.
