Falsely accused and wrongfully terminated
I've worked for this company (zips carwash) for what would've been 5 years on 12/3/22 & i've been falsely accused by former employees whom I believe to be upset cause i'm still working & they aren't... Not only that, i've been the driving force for the site (youree drive) as we under gone several different changes from upper & lower management. Due to my work ethics, I remained there & even acted as though I was site manager since there wasn't one & I didn't even get paid extra for any of that... I've at one point worked 7 days a week for a month cause there wasn't anyone to cover all shifts. This particular location (site) has had several robberies, which was reported... Even during one of the robberies (feb. Or march), the perpetrators smashed the camera equipment & the district manager (ben sneed) at the time knowingly continued on with business without making sure we had cameras/alarms to prevent any other issue. He just hired another site manager & business resumed as usual. Then, we were robbed again & once again, nothing was done as far as safety/security...& as I sit here typing right now, there are still no cameras!...& I can't understand, how I get falsely accused & wrongfully terminated for rumors of me stealing when there's no tools put in place... I went in to work on friday, 10/21/22, and the now district manager (lindsey) tells me that i'm under investigation due to the past robberies because someone went over her head & contacted human resources stating that they over heard in a barber shop that I was involved in the robberies & due to the investigation, I can no longer work!... But, I have a few questions.. If a company really suspected an employee of robberies from 7-8 months ago, why would they continue to let them work for this long?... How could they believe an ex employee over me without giving me an opportunity to express my thoughts regarding the issue before just firing me?...& where's the proof?...
A few weeks ago, after hearing rumors on my own, I attempted to reach out to human resources through email regarding rumors, employee/management confidentiality, but never received a response..
Can you please take a look at the details & see if there's anything you can assist me with cause not only do I love my job, I need my job!

Car wash scratched paint
I moved to Grayson, GA on Sept 1, 2022. In the first week of September, I purchased a 2-mo pass from Zips 2585 Loganville Hwy, Grayson, GA 30017. I loved the experience and bought 2 more 2-mo passes for friends. I've washed my 2016 BMW 535d several times since, exclusively at Zips. Today was the first time I got out of the car and walked behind it. There are brush mark scratches across the entire width of the top of my trunk. (See Photos 1 & 2 below.) I showed the scratches to a Zips worker, who immediately said, "The top brushes would have to do that and they're not working today." I told him I'd only washed my car at Zips since Sept 1. He said, "Well, we didn't damage your car." I asked for the manager or owner. He said, "We don't have one. We're corporate owned." I then asked for the corp phone number. He said, "I don't know it, man. You'll have to look it up.
I couldn't believe my ears. I said, "What?!" and he responded, "You'll have to Google it." I got angry and he said, "There's no need to be upset." (For the record, it will cost at least $1,500 to repair the scratches and repaint the trunk.) I immediately called your 800 customer service number. A very nice lady gave me the manager's name (Chad Cooksey) and email address and instructed me to email him directly and he would handle my complaint. I then looked up Chad Cooksey on Facebook and lo and behold he's the same jerk who told me 1) we didn't damage your car, 2) we don't have an owner or manager, and 3) there's no reason to be upset. I take exceptional care of my car. (See Photos 3 & 4 below). There's no way I'd let scratches that are so visible go unrepaired. I've never taken my car to a car wash that uses brushes.
Desired outcome: Zips pays to repair scratches and re-paint my trunk hood/top. An apology from Mr. Cooksey for lying to my face.
I'm complaining about the attendant.
Today, Friday, October 14th, I visited the 10799 Page Blvd location. Earlier in the week, I received an email to input a code for $15 off a $25 "The Works" carwash. I arrived between 11:30am & 12pm. The attendant came out to help and relayed I had a code to put in for a discounted car wash. The attendant told me that they do not do that. I told him I put in a code the last time I was here. I argued with him more however cars were lining up behind me and did not want to delay them. So, I paid the full $25. You may reach at [protected]@gmail.com.

Car wash quality and customer service
Rockmart, GA. We have been members at this car wash since it opened. It was recently acquired by Zips Carwash. It is horrible. The car comes out just as dirty as it goes in. I asked to speak to a Manager, who told me that you own 250 stores and they aren't going to change the way it's done that's as good as it's going to get. He was extremely arrogant and flippant, clearly not concerned with customer service at all. I finally gave up and asked him to cancel both mine and my wife's memberships. However, it is extremely disheartening to know how little he cared about the situation especially from a long term customer with 2 monthly memberships. I have a lot of friends and family in Rockmart and Cedartown GA who I will be sure to share the information with but felt you were owed an explanation since this person is representing your company this way.

Everything is broken!!
Our carwash was bought out in August. It was fabulous. They took care of the equipment and any issues you had with a positive attitude. They prewashed my car and my wheel wells. They made sure all the vacuum worked and had plenty of clean towels. Went there today most of vacuums do not work. Only one worker! Only one lane working to come thru at the machine. It is in sad sad shape. I know that the ones in Georgetown and Lexington are as poorly ran as this one is now! Sad that your company would run such a nice place in the ground.
Desired outcome: Fix everything broken and get more employees. Also prewash because my car is still covered in bugs.
Hi Nancy! I totally agree! This place is nothing like when the previous owners had it. To you point, they no longer keep the staff to pre-wash and the attendant also has to work the machines should a customer have problems. I just left there and they had only one lane open and cars backed nearly to the road- and as stated before, only one person working. I felt sorry for the guy!
Oh- and did I mention that my car comes out dirty. I just dry a dirty car. These guys need to step up their service or step it out!
Employee attitude and rudeness
I was with my 75 year old mother at the location on 6643 Clinton Highway in Knoxville, Tennessee 37912. The employee was extremely rude, and yelling and screaming at my mom, she has maybe been thru the wash once and was and is not familiar with the process. The employee who’s name we did not get was wearing an orange shirt and it was around 12:30 pm today Tuesday Oct 4, he also had a white hat on. I have never heard anyone talked to the way she was, she was so upset she almost started crying and is still very upset. Something needs to be done about this employee and the attitude of his, in fact anyone who talks to people like that should not be working in that type of environment and should lose his job over this incident. This issue will be followed up on on many different levels. I would greatly appreciate a response and what will happen to this employee. Her car was sent without being completely washed or rinsed and she was too upset to come in she just wanted to get as far away from him and the business as fast as possible.
Desired outcome: More than just an apology and some type of discipline towards the employee.
I canceled back in august but a payment was taken out in september
I cancelled my membership in August but in September around the 3rd a payment was taken out. I went to the location in St Charles Rock Rd in Bridgeton Mo to get a refund they told me to contact the Corp office and notify Amelia Littlejohn about the refund. I had to close my bank accounts due to being hacked so you will have to contact me about the refund. I also want to make sure no more payments would be taken out of My account. Carwash
First time at Zips. I paid for the 20 dollar wash. Right off the bat the kid at the entrance was rude shaking his head at me because I pulled in a little too far. Continued shaking his head at me as the car was pulled in. Rude! Then I go through the wash and went to dry and vacuum. No towels and the vacuums were terrible no suction at all! The worst wash ever! I will never go back and should have drove the extra 3 miles to go to my old faithful were they never disappoint and it is only 10 bucks and you get a great wash and they have great vaccines and towels!

Vacuums/car wash
I just left the Zips in mansfield, tx by 157 and Debbie ln at about 12:20pm on 9/26/22. I paid $25 for a car wash with the full intent of being able to clean my car. However, after going through the wash and heading to the vacuums I find out that none of them work. When I ask the lady working about it she says oh yea they haven't been working all morning. Yet they couldn't put out a sign giving people the heads up. I wouldn't have wasted $25 on a car wash had i known i wasn't going to be able to finish cleaning my car. I would greatly appreciate if something was done to make it right.

2018 Chevrolet Silverado
Wen to Zips Carwash September 19, around 7:45 pm. As I was going through Carwash I kept feeling like I was bumping into truck in front of me. Even when I put my brake on the track kept pushing me into truck in front of me at least three times. As soon as I went through , I drove around and went inside and told the attendant to come out and look at the front of my truck, It was very visible to him that the truck in front of me was not far enough in front of me to keep it from happening. He took down an incident report and he said to go get an estimate and bring it back to manager on the next day. When I got back to store the manager said that employee should not have told me that. He said we are not responsible for damage inside tunnel. I showed it to him and he said I should file with my insurance company. I text the company and they said my damage was denied and they considered the matter closed. Can you please help me with this?
Desired outcome: I want my front bumper replaced because it was not my fault and I was told they would fix it
Damage to tire and rim
This is a problem needs to be taken care of NOW! It has taken your company way too long to process the damaged caused by the locations careless employee that was terminated days after my incident.
Please contact me back and let me know what efforts are being done to reimburse me of the damages.

zips car wash in brannon crossing, nicholasville, ky. the whole car wash
i am a customer at the zips car wash in nicholasville, ky, brannon crossing. this car wash has really gone downhill. we have 2 vehicles that we bring in weekly. when the people guide us into the car wash they don't direct us into the roller part right and my tires have been scraping the sides. half the machines in the wash don't work right and when you come out most of the vacuums are clogged and don't work or the hoses are broken. i have been coming there since this opened and i think i might find somewhere else. its not getting any better.
billing & cancellation of membership
I went to the zip carwash on Lake Worth Road in Lake Worth, Florida. When I went to the carwash for a wax & wash. The attendant told me that I could get a membership for the same price. I gave her my credit card, she in turn pasted a barcoded sticker on my windshield.
When I received my credit card statement, i was charged $47.00. I HEREBY TERMINATE MY MEMBERSHIP and request a credit to my account.
Desired outcome: credit to my credit cardcancellation of membership.
Membership
I purchased the membership in my home state of KY because there are locations there and in SC a state that we have property in as well. According to their website you can use locations nationwide. I attempted to us a SC location, however the membership would not work. The attendant allowed me to use it, but there was a line behind me waiting because my membership wouldn’t work. I contacted customer service and I was told that the systems aren’t linked and that I would have to go in and talk to the attendant. It says nothing about this on their website! What an inconvenience this will cause. My question is as many locations and businesses that they are taken over why aren’t these sites linked? False advertising!
Desired outcome: Link the systems together so that you can use your membership nationwide as advertised.
canceled membership NOW double billed
In July I emailed and asked that my membership be canceled. Received an email stating the location was a new acquisition and my information wasn't on file. Told to go to the physical location and cancel the membership there. I did that. Now, the membership was not only not canceled, I am being billed twice a month. For the past two months I have been charged $60.00 for a service I no longer use and have removed the RFID tag over a month ago. I have been charged $120.00 , so far. This is for a service I asked to be canceled and no longer use.
Desired outcome: I want the membership completely canceled and the $120.00 returned to the card used for billing.

I have been a member since 2019 and have been paying for the family plan for 2 years. I have been okay with price increases each time and have never filed a complaint even when the service and performance were unsatisfactory. But for the past two weeks, the ZIPS on Western Ave and Clinton Hwy in Knoxville TN has either been closed, the pre-wash has been down, the dryers do not work, the soaps/wax have been running low, or out of the 20-30 vacuums, only 4 work correctly. I am tired of paying $50 a month and getting crappy service. I would love to switch to another car wash but there is not one so please update these locations!
Desired outcome: Update the locations or lower the prices to meet with the crappy services and performance of the products.
Zips Car Wash North Richland Hills
For the past two months, I have been charged $35.00 (July 16 and August 16). I canceled my membership, last September, and I received an email confirmation stating that it had been canceled. Since June, I have not had my car washed at the Zips location because another car wash opened up that is closer to me. I am 100% certain that my credit card is being (infrequently) charged for a membership I no longer have and I canceled last year. I noticed some other charges to my account that I feel have been made without my consent. I know that you are having issues and several complaints have been filed against this location for the same reasons I am having. People in our community have been posting on Facebook about it and that is what led me to check my statements.
Desired outcome: Credited the $70.00 back I know I don't owe you and stop from having my credit card used without my permission especially since I canceled my membership last September.
Haven't received my paycheck from zips car wash

I have been work at zips car wash for a few weeks
And I still have not received my first check there was a problem entering my account number and in the system but I got that corrected but I still have not yet received my first check from zips Car Wash for the work that I perform. Frederick that works there on Clemson boulevard is putting smart comments about me on Google chat that is inappropriate and uncalled for. "Harassment" I do not work at zips Car Wash any longer but I do want this to come to a stop all the harassment and bad stuff that goes on up there at the car wash that they are letting people get by with.
If I do not receive my check and the remaining payment of my work time that I perform there I will be seeking legal actions against zips Car Wash.
