Mitchum sensitive skin for women

To whom it may concern:

I put my deodorant on like normal today (mitchum sensitive skin: upc [protected] 3), and after wearing the shirt for an hour I noticed a mark on my shirt under my armpits. when I looked I noticed that everywhere my deodorant was I had a bleached marks on my shirt. this was a brand new shirt only worn twice before this, and it cost $29.95. so it was not cheap and I did not get that much wear out of the shirt..

Please contact me via email

Thanks:

I have been using mitchum deodorant as long as i can remember. I have not bought the last few years because i stock up. Last week i bought one and i am very disappointed. I have never ever sweated with the roll on. & now i am sweatingh all the time, i can not use it. I would like to know why. Is it that you changed the formula? In the store somebody told me that they switched to ban. I said there is nothing like mitchum, however i have to switch to some other brand now too. The bottle is different too than the ones i had. Please respond. Thank you.

I attended a wedding 3 hours away and brought Women's Mitchum deoderant gel in the car. The deoderant was in a small plastic bag and on its side for the trip. When I removed the cap to use it, the gel shot out all over the car and made a complete mess.

I am of the firm opinion that there should be a cautionary remark on the container that says UPRIGHT ONLY!

A very disappointing and gooey experience.

I use to use Mitchum years ago. I just recently bought two on sale. I used it while I was in Mexico. When I took two shirts off, I notice the shirts and the sweaters turned orange. I continued to use it after my returned and I noticed a swaeter on the bottom turned orange. I had it Dry cleaned and they didn't come out. I threw the two tubes in the garbage and I am out $100 in shirts and sweaters.

Your right it is messy and I don't know why the changed the formula.

I purchased Mitchum (for women) Smart Solid. I will be smarter not to buy this is the future as about half of this ended up crumbling as I tried to use it.

I have used Mitchum ever since I can remember!

I will not use the smart solid again - it's terrible.

I also purchased Mitchum Smart Solid. My choices were to keep the deoderant dialed in so low it scraped my skin or dial it up and watch it fall in pieces on the floor. Just how do you contact the manufacturer?

I've been using Mitchum for a couple of weeks. I purchased the Women's Solid. I have never been so disappointed in a product that has such a good reputation. The solid breaks off in pieces. Everyother day a chunk falls off while I am using it, then this morning...the whole thing just came right out of the holder. I've never had this problem with any other deoderant I've used.

I had the same experience with the gel. I have used it for years but recently I had bought a brand new $50.00 Fox Girls shirt & it left huge orangish marks in the armpit area which will not come out. I really would appreciate for the company to reimburse me for this since it happened the first time I wore the shirt. It's definitly ruined forever & very disappointing.

I have used Mitchum with great results for 25 years. That is until it bleached out a brand new (gorgeous) royal blue knit top. I was wearing the top for the first time and didn't notice the problem until it was too late to change. It's just a blouse, but I loved it and it is not something I am likely to find again. They must have changed the formula. Later on, as I was ironing a light green top, I saw that Mitchum also bleached that top as well. It just wasn't as noticeable. These marks are up and down the sides ,just where you might get deodorant stains from many brands, but these are bleach marks and will never fade or come out.
Great going, Mitchum!

I've used Mitchum for decades and I cannot find the Mitchum Solid Unscented to save my life so I ended up buying the Smart Solid. WRONG, there was nothing solid about it; it's rubbery, it crumbles as I use it and its not dry when I apply it. Looks like another Coke Classic faux pas; changing this formula is killing the brand loyalty.

I have used Mitchum unscented gel for almost 10 years now, as has my father...sadly, today as I sat at lunch my coworker said, what did you spill on your shirt. As I looked closer it became clear...my deodorant had bleached the arm pits and a few smaller spots down the sides. This was a $50 formal dress shirt and a high frustration to say the least. I haven't begun searching yet, as I fear i may find additional shirts from this past week that were also ruined.

To whom it may concern,

I usually use mitchum once the wheather starts to warm up. So as usual I bought it a few weeks ago the new smart solid papaya scent and started breaking out in a rash under my arm. I switched to a different scent thinking it was the papaya. It wasn't the scent at all it was the product itself I know have a full body rash from my neck down to my ankles. I had to get steriod shots. Steriods to take at home, antihistamines, antifungal /hydrocortizone cream, Yeast infection medication all from the doctor not to mention all the money I spent on itching creams and benadryl. I am a Massage Therapist and had to turn work away because I know have to worry (according to my doctor) about getting a super infection due to the fact that my immune system is now suppressed because I am one big open wound. I want to know who I can contact regarding this or I will be having a lawyer contact the company.

I'm in pain and very piised off. I will never by this product again.

I also am having issues with Mitchum Smart Solid. I have used regular stick unscented for years with no issues, then I got the Smart Solid and it rubbed my underarms so bad that dead skin attached itself in the crease of my underarm causing a lot of pain. Since then I peeled off the dead skin and ceased to use any product. Now the glands in my armpit are super sensitive, rashy, and inflamed. It hurts like heck. I might have to go to the doctor if it doesn't heal soon. Steroids might be in my future as well. Ugh.

I also am having problems with Mitchum Smart Solid. It burned my underarms so bad, that they were red and extremely painful. It took over a week for them to heal. I cannot find Mitchum regular solid deodorant anywhere now. It's all been replaced by the SmartSolid. That is NOT smart!

RUINED LOTS OF CLOTHES AND MY BED SHEETS. IT TOOK A LONG TIME UNTIL I FIGURED OUT WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WHY WOULDNT THEY AT LEAST GIVE A WARNING...I GUESS WHY WOULD PEOPLE USE IT IF IT RUINED EVERYTHING YOU WORE. THEY SHOULD RECALL AND GIVE COMPENSATION FOR RUINED MATERIAL!

This might help if you're having problems with the new Mitchum Power Gel: I just bought a new bottle of the Mitchum Power Gel Shower Fresh for women and noticed a change of their active ingredient. The older formula Clear Gel used to contain ALUMINUM ZIRCONIUM TETRACHLOROHYDREX GLY 20 %. The new bottle of Power Gel contains ALUMINUM SESQUICHLOROHYDRTE 25 %. I also bought a bottle of Degree Clinical Proection Trisolid antiperspirant/ deodorant which has the exact same ingredient as the old Mitchum Clear Gel. So if that ingredient has worked in past for you, maybe give that a try. I think that's what I'm going to do for now since I've read so much about shirts and blouses getting destroyed by the new Mitchum. I can't afford to replace all my shirts! Although I"ll probably keep looking for it in a gel formula since I like that much better . Darn, why did they have to go and change a good thing?

Really loved Mitchum Smart Solid the first couple or times I used it and then I too had the problem of it just crumbleing away. What's up? Any chance this problem might get fixed. I made the mistake of buying several of them at one time and now am stuck with abunch of crumbs! How do you contact the company or is this it?

I have same problem with bleaching...I put on a brand-new really nice t-shirt this morning, and one hour later after sitting in a/c house, not sweating at all, I have all kinds of bleach marks in the arm pits.

Mitchum is officially off my list of deodorants. I wish they would pay for ruined clothes.

I too switched to mitchum gel in 2009. i didnt realize that it bleached out no less than 6 button downs and a bunch of red and black tee shirts. I wasn't smart enough to put two and two together that it was mitchum. I am out a few hundred dollars in shirt replacements.

After discarding /several/ brands of ineffective deoderants over the years, I discovered Mitchum Clear Gel (my father's used it for as long as I can remember which is probably why it took so long to discover).

It's served me very well over the years with occassional bad batch popping up once every blue moon. However, this morning, after removing a new shirt (worn/washed once), I noticed the armpit areas seemed as if they'd been bleached. A few days prior to that I noticed a rice grain-sized bleached area on the front pocket, and even though I hadn't been around bleach at all, it didn't bother me too much. Sure, it irked me a little bit, but what could I do?

The deoderant I was wearing was the Power Gel, purchased two weeks ago. Also worth mentioning -- the shirt is an inexpensive one. Shouldn't matter, and I read about another guy with the same problem who claimed the Power Gel bleached his expensive as well as his cheap shirts.

What /really/ sucks is that Mitchum's the only stuff that does the job for me (until I begin the hunt again...)

Anywho, if anyone finds/comes up with a solution I'd be glad to hear it!

MY ARMPITS ARE ON FIYYYYYYA🔥🔥🔥. I have been using Mitchum's for 5years and it's safe to assume they stop selling the original solid. Now all I can find is this SmartGel, that does NOT work as well as the original. I am sure they must have changed the formula and NOW I have chemical burns under both armpits... I can't sleep right now because of the pain...I am definitely going to make a formal complaint and maybe contact a Lawyer! 😢😡
