Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. The service center messed up my oil pan, lied about it, and was rude and unhelpful when I asked for help. The service agent wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor, and when I called the next day, they still wouldn't let me. I wrote a Google review, and a Service manager replied. They said they didn't know about the problem and would fix it. But then they ignored all my calls for weeks and never called me back.
I got a new Nissan Murano in 2012 with Morrie's Lifetime Power Transmission Warranty
I got a new Nissan Murano in 2012 with Morrie's Lifetime Power Transmission Warranty. They said it was for a lifetime and you could do your own maintenance. They said lifetime meant as long as we owned the vehicle. But now, I have a $600 issue and they won't honor the warranty. They say all maintenance had to be done by a Nissan dealership, even though Morrie's stopped selling Nissans without telling us. I can say for sure that my son, who is a trained mechanic, did all the maintenance on time. Now they're saying it had to be done by a licensed Nissan dealership and the warranty will end in 2022. It seems like what they say and what they do are very different, and their "lifetime" is very misleading.
Not happy with my experience at Morrie's Automotive Group
Not happy with my experience at Morrie's Automotive Group. The general manager, Juan, misled me by saying he would help me if I needed anything since it was my first time buying a used Maserati. But after driving only 20 miles, the check engine light came on. I brought it back, and they claimed it was a fouled spark plug from revving the engine over 5k RPM when it was cold. That's not true because I didn't do that; I just drove it home. They replaced the plugs, but now, after 5 weeks, the front end sounds like it's going to break when I turn. I called to ask if they could waive the $200 diagnostic fee to take a look, but they said no. I haven't driven the car much since I bought it, and I even purchased a $5k aftermarket warranty from them. It seems like they only care about making the sale and not providing any support after you sign the paperwork. I'm not asking them to pay for the repairs, just to take a look since I just bought it. I will never recommend or buy from Morrie's again. My salesperson was Rich ***, and the general manager was Juan ***. Better to go somewhere else.
I bought two cars from the same Morries dealership in 4 months
I bought two cars from the same Morries dealership in 4 months. Both times, there were damages or defects with the vehicles that were not disclosed. I ended up spending thousands of dollars at a Morries collision location to fix the issues with the first vehicle. Unfortunately, some of the work was unsatisfactory and I didn't receive a response. I had to pay another body shop to resolve the problems.
With the second car, it took me over a day to get a salesman to sign the car out. They claimed the car was inspected, but I found out that the lights were out or disconnected, there were mechanical issues, and the bumper cover wasn't attached properly. I reached out to the manager and was told to bring the car in for resolution. They had the car for 3 weeks and said the issues were fixed. However, even after replacing some bulbs, there were still multiple issues present. I didn't receive any further responses to my inquiries.
I ended up spending my own money to resolve the problems because at that point, the time and hassle weren't worth it anymore. I've bought around 5 or 6 cars from Morries, but this will be my last. The customer service has become incredibly poor to the point where you can't even get an email response. I understand that we're living in difficult times, but I don't understand how not following through on promises or not standing behind your work is considered acceptable.

8/23 I went to Morries to buy a car and trade in my 2018 Chevy Equinox
8/23 I went to Morries to buy a car and trade in my 2018 Chevy Equinox. When I got there, I asked what would happen if my trade-in, which still has a lien on it, was worth more than the car I wanted to buy. They told me that I would get the car I chose and a check for the difference. They valued my car at $18,000, which is $2000 less than Carmax (who gives you a check the same day). But since everything could be done in one place and I could still get a check for the difference, I decided to go ahead with the deal. We signed the purchase agreement, which showed that I would receive $576.60 when I got the 2012 Ford I bought. Since the deal wasn't finished until 5:30pm, they told me I had to come back on 8/24 to get the payout check of $576.60. I left the dealership with the new (used) car and my documents, trusting that I would return on 08/24 to pick up the check. But now they're saying I have to wait until they get the title.
I wanna talk about Morrie Auto Group 'cause I got a problem with one of their dealerships, Morrie's Golden Valley Cadillac
I wanna talk about Morrie Auto Group 'cause I got a problem with one of their dealerships, Morrie's Golden Valley Cadillac. So, on Sept 24, 2020, I saw this sick 2015 BMW X6 M on CarFax.com, posted by Morrie's Golden Valley Cadillac. I got in touch with a sales guy from the dealership and we emailed back and forth about my interest in the car. The next day, Sept 25, the sales guy sent me a Purchase Agreement to give me an idea of the total cost if I decided to buy it. I told him I needed a certain amount for my trade-in to make the deal work. Long story short, the deal fell through 'cause Morrie couldn't offer me the amount I needed for my trade-in. So, I wished the sales guy good luck selling it to someone else.
But guess what? I found another dealership that was willing to buy my car at the price I wanted! So, on Oct 1st, I called up Morrie to check if the car was still available, and it was! Since I lived in Illinois, I made plans to fly to Minneapolis on Oct 3rd to visit the dealership, test drive the car, and check it out. And you know what? I ended up buying it! During the purchase, they gave me a 30 Day/1000 mile Dealer Warranty.
About a week later, I contacted Morrie to let them know that the Dealer Warranty had the wrong date (Sept 25, 2020) and it should be updated to Oct 3rd, the day I actually got the car. But they didn't even bother responding to my request. And now, they're refusing to update the warranty because I made a claim for a breakdown and repair that happened within the 30 Day/1,000 mile warranty period. I talked to the general manager, but he's not willing to fix the issue. He's acting like he has no integrity or honor!
