bakery / sausage rolls
After purchasing 8 pack of pork sausage rolls from the in store bakery yesterday 17/03/2019, on returning home to have a snack, after eating x6 I was to find on one at the bottom either pen or pencil writing not knowing if others had this too I am sending pics for you to view, and hoping you can explain how this has happened, thank you Mrs Julie hall.
toiletries... exfoliating bath sponge
Sorry to say these sponges are a joke!
Has anyone who puts these out to purchase ever tried using them?
If not please do and you will see how useless they are.
The first time I used one in the shower, very gently... The exfoliating side broke up into little grainy
Pieces. It was a new sponge, correctly stored and the shower water was average heat.
I didn't return the item as the nearest morrison's store is 30 minutes drive away.
I wrote this off as an isolated incident. On my next visit I bought 4, confident that these would
Be "normal"... No such luck. Within a minute of using this sponge the rough side of the sponge
Disintegrated! It is now in the bin.
Whoever is manufacturing these sponges should be investigated.
My problem is that I am elderly and disabled, I cannot get to morrison's without someone to take
Me and neither have I kept the receipt as I didn't expect further problems...
I know this is only a small amount of money wasted (5 sponges in all at 50p each) however
Every penny is of value to me.
car parking fines
Dear Sirs, would it be at all possible to sort out the fiasco that is appertaining with these car parking cameras at this store! its absolutely ridiculous the amount of people that are getting letters, all because the cameras are picking up the car details coming into the store, BUT dont record some of them going out! either because there is another car blocking the number plate or some other obscure reason, a lot of people now in our small village have stopped going to morrisons because of this issue, its a bad way of dealing with good customer who have been loyal to morrisons for years, why on earth they had cameras put on this store we will never know they are certainly not needed, its not as if the store is in a busy town area its a village! please get someone to either get rid of this money making/robbing venture or sort it out properly its a bad situation thats getting worse and upsetting a lot of people. this letter was posted by a friend of mine today...

I know people on this notice board that there have been members complaining of getting parking tickets from Morrison's. I got a parking charge notice on Monday, I rang the store and was told to take the letter in. They said they had no contact with Euro Car Parks and to speak to them direct, but you can't they don't take calls. I know for a fact that day their camera's must have been faulty, They are saying on 1/02/19 I entered the car park at08:26 which I agree with. My car goes on every day anytime between 8 and8.30 I call for the paper's at the garage then carry on to the park to take my dog to the park. They said I exited at 16.10 I agree with both those times but they obviously didn't get my car on camera leaving in the morning and going back in in the afternoon. I've just spoke to the manager who says he has been there two and a half months and I'm the first one to complain. (I don't think so) PS any suggestions can't stand injustice.
I hope you can help! thankyou
cafe
I have put this complaint in before about the food for people like me who has coeliac disease as the only food they do is a egg and tomato sandwich this is not right they could make up more sandwiches even wraps it's not to hard and there still nothing done about the complaint from last year does these complaints even get looked at and sent to the stores
non replacement of food out of stock.
I am absolutely fed up of going to my local Morrisons, and finding lots of food has not been replaced when the shelves or fridges are empty! this happens every time I visit morrisons in Chingford London E4! it is not good enough, as I visit the store at least 3times a week! I hope you look into this problem and sort it out ASAP! Thankyou...…… [protected] 80035
customer service manager
I am an ex employee of of Morrisons Morecambe 074, on a few occasions I have been in the store I have been followed by security guard, duty manager which I ignored but on visiting the store this morning 01/01/2019, the customer service manager was talking to security guard as I entered the store she saw me, she put her hand over her mouth and clearly told the security guard I was in the store he looked right at myself and my daughter, this behaviour is not acceptable, I believe she should be spoke to about her manner. I am very upset and disturbed that she can make someone feel like this.
saving stamp scheme
My mother and sister collect saving stamps all year to spend at Christmas. It's just come to light that if you don't spend the full value of your stamps, no change is given. As an example, my mum had £100 in saving stamps and her shopping came to £45. This means you would have kept the £55 in change. This is daylight robbery as you've had the money off her all year and believe that you're able to rob customers of their change.if it was just a £1 per customer, how much would you be robbing off your customers, which you'd be profiting already from. My mum and sister have done their shopping at Morrisons for year and you feel it's right to treat them in this manner. I understand policies do change, but customers should be advised this before hand and the policy you've introduced amounts to robbery. I would like a reply to this email to give you an opportunity to put this right before I take this to trading stands. It was a good job my mum had the cash on her to pay, but others may not have done and been left in an embarrassingly situation. Kind regards.
Just seen this post. Sorry, She woman, but it clearly states under the Terms and Conditions on the back of the card that no change is given. I got over this by filling up two cards to the half way mark, so still got the value of saving £100 worth of stamps throughout the year, but was able to use them on two different shopping expeditions - I simply lost £1 in the bonus stamp. I have noticed, however, that this year I have been given a card that only goes up to £49, so maybe enough people felt as you did.
staff treatment
My son works for Morrisons in a petrol station and has been fobbed off for the last 18 months. He has been trying to get more contract hours and is constantly told there are no more hours but a week or so later someone starts on 20 or 25 hours and my son is the one who has to train them. Wow what a kick in the guts.
He has a 14.5 hour contact and cannot get more hours but is expected to train the new starts. He interviewed for a checkout line manager job and both him and another member of staff were offered the job with 20 hours each on a probationary 6 months contract. After 3 months of nothing materialising he was then told that the job no longer existed. However a staff member from another store relocated into the same post. Now he's asked again for more contract hours and been told by his manager that he can't give him more hours as there have been complaints from other staff about his work. Complaints may I add that, he knew nothing about the management cannot corroborated and personnel know nothing about. How coincidental that these complaints should only come to light after he requested more hours. To put the final nail in the coffin, 2 new starts have now been started on 25 hours each. Guess who has to train them. Yep my son who works in excess of 30 hours a week for them. My son who stays behind till after midnight when engineers, electricians or locksmiths have to come out. He comes in on his days off if they are short staffed, is the only one who works there that knows how to change the pricing on the forecourt and how to copy CCTV footage for the police when needed. It's an
absolute disgrace how he has been treated.
morrisons car wash
I went into the Car wash with my recently acquired car. I heard a very loud |'clunk' when the wheel washer came into contact with the car and after completing the wash I inspected the wheels and found that three of the wheel trims had slight damage but the front nearside wheel trim was totally distorted and out of shape. The matter was reported to to your Store Manageress who confirmed that it would be reported to your Insurers. I am still waiting to hear from them after three weeks. I would add that al four wheel trims were new when I bought the car couple of weeks earlier.
vouchers
My sister-in-law was at my house as I was setting of to Morrisons to do my weekly shop - she asked if I was collecting the 5 vouchers for Xmas savings of £30 (she lives in Morecambe)! I have not been offered these despite shopping at Morrisons Mayo for over 40years groceries (usually over £100 spend weekly) and petrol! I asked at Morrisons but the staff knew nothing about this.
In previous years I have collected 5 vouchers for Xmas vouchers - why not this year?
Also it is very rare nowadays to even get the £5 vouchers - why?
Disappointed.
This is rubbish system jst let me submit

chicken thigh fillets
I purchased a pack of chicken thighs on Monday 19th November 2018 which I cooked tonight.
When I opened the pack of chicken there was quite a lot of small sharp shards of chicken bone which I cut away.
I cooked the chicken in foil with no oil in the oven and when I unwrapped it the chicken was absolutely swimming in water which was way above the amount I would have expected.
I was that disappointed with the thought of the bones and the excess water I decided to throw it away.
Very disappointed with Morrisons chicken thighs to say the least.
Please see attached pictures.
slimfast strawberry milkshake
This is the 3rd time I have raised this complaint but so far I have had no response from Morrisons.
I received a home delivery on Friday 12th October, this was my 2nd home delivery from Morrisons. I was not overly impressed with the 1st delivery but I gave the benefit of the doubt and tried a 2nd. I received a couple of items with sell by dates that expired the day after (13th October) although the driver had noticed this and refunded the items.
How ever I was horrified this morning to discover that the 6 pack of strawberry Slimfast milkshakes I had delivered actually expired in July 2018 ! I opened one which was dark in colour and contained lumps.
This is it a cheap product so I feel I cannot let this go unnoticed.
I would appreciate a response and your corrective action please.
Regards Naomi Seaman.

the ince staff
I want to say about Ince store night staff working rules. I'm my self a delivery man who delivering some stuff at night time, so if i coming a bit later than midnight, then i i'm forced to wait till they finishing them dinner. Ok so i can understand that, but if i coming some times later than one a clock so they are telling me they are on them dinner too. So how i can understand then? They start them dinner midnight and have finished after two hours? By the way, they even don't have any respect to others the way how they speak. If i have called in the office they picking the phone and i explaining them reason why i calling like waiting an hour so they just saying "hello i can't hear you" and than just simple dropping phone down.. so like that staff you have in the Ince store.
market street 2 cod fillets "skinless and boneless"
(Item purchased 8/10/18, frozen for the week, cooked and served last night and again this afternoon) Hello, I need to draw attention to the fact that one of these cod fillets contained 2 large, sharp pieces of fishbone- 1 piece measures 1.5cm, the other 3cm. I wouldn't complain on behalf of myself, but the cod was used for making fishfingers for my 20 month old and this is a regular ingredient that we use. We are normally very pleased with this product. Thankfully, I happened to have this piece on my plate instead of hers, but as you can understand, this could've been very dangerous and painful for her or any young child. Please let me know what steps of action you intend to take to prevent this from potentially happening again to us or someone else, thank you.
managers
Morrison's keep saying the need to save money, where I work the night shift team managers do less work than a sloth, they get paid more than 30k a year and all they do is sit in office's reading books or playing on there mobile phones.
If they need to save money then they need to start looking at the team managers in there warehouses because they do nothing at all for there money, they even do not cover people on jobs so they can go on break.
All they seem to be interested in is playing on there mobile phones, To me Morrison's has lost sight of what the job is, The job is get the stock in the warehouse get it replened get it picked then get it to the stores, were I work they are more interested in punishing people for having 5 minutes down time or not picking the amount of cases they want you to pick which I should add there is no case amount stated in the contract.
I go into Morrison's store and there's nothing on the shelves so I end up going asda, at morrisons they treat their workers like something they have stepped on in the streets, this is no way to run a business because they now have 1 of the worst reputations for treating people like [censored].
Maybe one day someone from head office will see what's going on and do something about it but I'm not going to hold my breath.

corruption
Having worked in bakery department for 14 years, I resigned in June 2018.The reason behind my resignation...in October 2016 I became a whistleblower! And was subsequently sacked less than 24/48 hours later, on a gross misconduct charge of falsifying timesheets.Anyone who works for Morrison's knows these are inputted by clock machine! I appealed the decision and got my job back.."Having been harshly treated", no apology nothing...Now to my knowledge absolutely nothing was done about the whistleblowing at all...I had feedback from head office saying"Morrison's takes things like this very seriously, and measures have been put in place to ensure this doesn't happen again"...Rubbish, the truth nothing was done! General Manager moved/promoted to head office andManager of Market Street promoted to Market Street Trainer...Oh the alleged allegations to the whistleblower...Fraudulent Production sheets, Using out of date stock, Fraudulant sales figures...Frozen goods left to defrost and then told to put back in freezer...etc.So after much deliberation with my family I resigned, for my mental health..However thinking it would all be done and dusted, I received my final pay of...£84.00 yes...It took Morrison's nearly 3months to pay me the money legally owed to me, after Acas and legal threats were made.So you've read this now, and are probably wondering what I expect...Nothing just letting the general public know what sort of firm Tescosons..Sorry Morrison's is now! Corrupt on the highest level David...
I have to agree from a Customer point of view that Morrisons is ingrained with faulty everything.
And topping it all has to be the hidden agenda of their bent, corrupt Customer Services Policy which needs serious looking at.
But as they know they rule the roost and will always have the final say and never ever be made accountable for the bad experience that Customers are exposed to by corrupt Management and bad decision making that stems from Head Office who will always put the staff members first and never allow a fair and appropriate actions that might affect the Staff Member at any stage.
And they are able to get away with this as thier own Head of Customer Services will tell you himself no one is above Morrisons, they are free from all accountability from any higher authority.
Shopping for anyone with disabilities, the elderly, the most vulnerable are by large at the most risk when deciding to shop at Morrisons.
They have no comments forthcoming if you dare to mention the extremely worrying low reviews in the UK.
It doesn't bother them an iota.
With a poor level of having a 13% approval rating approximately, you would think any business would be wanting to improve but not Morrisons as they don't care enough about ratings, they care about profit making and nothing more.
I'd never ever want to work for a Company as ignorant and as aggressive as they show themselves to be.
I have no qualm by declaring they are the UK's leading Supermarket with a serious deceptive motive that overrides it's customers and it's intentions are a sad reflection of the times we live in.
Any nicety they may live to be praised for doing in our communities is quickly swallowed up by the hard core nature of their 21st century nature which is appalling.

bideford store restaurant
I shop at this store every week and use the restaurant. For three weeks up to now the restaurant has not been able to serve tea. The reason is that the hot water machine is out of action. The sign explaining to customers says it's due to circumstances beyond our control. Really, a major supermarket, PLC can't find a way of serving tea?!
Just to say also the restaurant staff are brilliant but obviously understaffed and not properly supported as this complaint demonstrates.

The staff on the tills are being let down by your so called managers. I am manager for a 4.2 million pound store and i am shocked by the lack of support they have for their staff n care and empathy snd a solution for their customers unbelieveable !
