When we travel we always stay at Motel 6 if we can. In the beginning of June we travel to Carlsbad for a few days to see the caverns and was shocks that it cost $100. a night for one bed, 2 people. When I got home I found my home town Motel 6 was charging $54 as well as Las Vegas Nm. only charging $43 to $79.00. Even New York City was only $84. So I am thinking that I was over charged for a room the was bare minimums and a staff that didn't speak English. I decided to use the pool and had to get someone to come clean it first. When the guy came to clean the pool he had no idea what he was summoned for so I grabbed the skimmer and put it in his hands and pointed him at the pool. He cleaned the surface only and we gave up and went back to the room and watched a tv that kept changing channels even though the remote was on the table. My question is, now that the company has changed hands, is this what I can expect at all of the locations? If so I will be using another motel chain in the future. It also took 30 minutes to locate a good email address for you.

I stayed at this motel for ONE night.. My reservation was for three nights. I checked in on the first night of the reservation in the evening after a long drive on the 4th of July. I had two separate rooms under my reservation.
I had read previous reviews and thought since we wont be spending very much time here It would be a great place to stay.
I was WRONG!
The room was filthy, dead bugs, candy wrappers, hair balls all over the floor, but worst of all was the feces on the wall by the toilet, wet floor and makeup on the pillows. I could not figure out WHY the floor was so wet. I went to the front desk and asked for the room to be cleaned properly.
I left for the day and returned back at the room that night. It appeared to be cleaned. I inspected everything and it was a much better improvement. Then I walked over to the door and almost slipped and fell. The FLOOR was still wet! The water was coming up through the floor. The water was bubbling up through the flooring. They knew there was a leak but put me and my two small children in there anyway.
I went to the front desk and demanded a different room.
They tried to switch me to a different room, I went to inspect it and it was extremely dirty also. Me along with Arica (front desk, manager) went to the room to take pictures of how dirty that new room was. There was makeup and all sorts of "stuff" on the sheets. The floor had dirty grimy splatter marks and the smell was moldy.
I demanded my money back but the manager was arguing that I was making stuff up and being dishonest. Again his staff manager Arica confirmed that these were all accurate. The motel only has one cleaning person. We had to go across the way to the Quality Inn for the reminder of our stay in Hillsboro. That hotel was MUCH cleaner and the staff was kind and friendly.
I have pictures and video to confirm the above statements are true.
I have not done a negative review yet, I received an email today to do a review. I would like my money back. My son had to get a new reservation at the Quality in across the way. I have since paid him back. So with that I am out over $600.00
filthy and cockroaches in room
I stayed 07/05/2019-07/08/2019, every day I had to change rooms along seeing cockroaches in our rooms. The staff said it was not cockroaches it was a beetle but I took pictures of the last two seen in my room and went to a pest control company which stated they were definitely cockroaches. I paid over $250 for cockroach infested rooms. NOw I hope that none got in my luggage and came home with me.

I tried to do a review for the above Odgen Utah Motel 6 and there was no where to put the review.
I stayed at Odgen Utah Motel 6 for one night on July 5, 2019.. It was the worst motel I ever stayed at.
There were no trash cans, the tv volume was set on almost inaudible volume, there were missing light bulbs, no shampoo or condtioner, there were hardly any towels, the drawer was missing from the dresser and the shower was not working correctly. We were going to a wedding and had friends stay there too and they had only 2 plugs to utilize. The staff who check us in said that I could get a senior dicount when I asked about discounts and he did not put it in. He also said they did not take AAA membership cards. I think they do. To make matters worse, they accused us smoking in the room. We were in the no smoking room. We do not smoke and there was no smoking done in that room. They were rude and demanded that we did and said we would be charged $250 which was absolutely ridiculous. They had called and then came over and checked the room. They said the person next door smelled the smoke. They did not trust us and were rude. I did not see the charge but I am wary of them sticking the charge on me. They also said today we would see the discount in my email or phone call and no such thing happened. I give this motel a F. or less than 1 rating. motel 6 has given out my credit card gaurenteed room twice in a row now and my credit card worked fine at other motel 6 reservations after 6
My name is Randall Coleman. I use Motel 6 many times thru my job travels working for UPS and NCBA coaching activities. My room on 7/6/19 at the Motel 6 near Lackland San Antonio was given out after I called 7/5 and asked to make sure they held my room by credit card reservation #HJPWQSWETR to visit my son in the Air Force. I would be arriving at 8pm. They released the last room they had at 7pm even after this call and my business credit card has 6000 available on it. This is twice motel 6 this year has given my room away with this same credit card hold. I had to reserve a room 25 miles away for 22 dollars more at 8pm and amazingly motel 6 SWLoop 410 Fiesta TX found my credit card worked fine to hold my room for 22 dollars more.. I expect some compensation now for multiple errors and inconvenience plus the extra cost/time this costs me this weekend. Motel 6 in New Orleans did the same thing back in March 2019 and I had to drive 32 miles to Sliddel to find a room plus had/inconvenience. Again I had called that Motel 6 location to credit card reserve being late and still the room was handed out. Can I trust any credit card reservation after 6pm? I travel and cannot be there at 6pm many times. Please rectify this situation and refund my stay on 7/6 or I will not continue to use Motel 6. front desk service rude and non accommodating
I was travelling with my family from Toronto to Miami .We were on a road trip.
We booked motel 6 Laurel on our way down and back.
On my way down I met Jeremy at the front desk who during check in was very rude.
Scrutinized my ID and only accepted my drivers license which I Did.At the time I Did not think anything of it and shrugged it off.
On my way back on june 23 I reached the motel at 11pm.
When I entered the first thing Jeremy said was to wait as he has to go home and he is handing over his shift to the next person.
The person taking the shift asked him to accomodate me.Wow..some customer service.
Then while at the computer Jeremy insisted that he could find my reservation and I insisted that I had .
I also stressed on the fact that i was there on the 13 as well and now have a booking for the 23 of june.
Thankfully I had printed reservation copies which took me a while to sort out and finally after me showing him the reservation, he seemed to have found my reservation online.
I confirmed if was reservation was confirmed, to which he said he just saw it.
Then i proceeded to the room which was on the second floor.
I was travelling with 2 little girls and a dog.
There on the stairwell there were people who were drinking and smoking pot.
One man was so drunk he was unable to get up to make way for us.
His friends had to persuade him to get up.
After reaching the room, The key did not work as Jeremy forgot to activate it.
I went back down, quite upset to speak to the front desk .
I spoke to Jeremy first who realised that i was annoyed by the fact that the key did not work and also I described what happened on the stairwell asking him to change my room.He walked away muttering something under his breath of having no room.
I asked the other guy the same thing, telling him I Did not feel safe.He said the police patrol the place from time to time.
He activated my card.
I have had good experiences at Motel 6 .
I just returned from Motel 6 Miami and my experience there was decent
In the past has been my go to motel.
Travelled in the Us a lot by living in this motel.
Used motel 6 at various locations but this person at the front desk has ruined my impression on the chain of motels.
Will not be using it in the future.

Our company WhiteTail Oilfield Services check us into this Motel 6 in abbey ville Louisiana on Thursday june 20 2019. I have complained twice to front desk about the cleanse of my room and lack of Small face clothes the picture of the hair in the first photo has been here since i checked in first day i had dirty clothes from the prior tenet who rented the room and no face clothes to bath and a unclean restroom i went complain to hotel manager she said she will address it . Second day no bathroom facial towels and shower still has no been cleaned complained again to front desk took my complaint it's day 4 and I'm still dealing with a unclean restroom so I'm showering at a motel my company booked for our other coworkers because your employees refuse to address the complaints about no towels and unclean restroom i am going to document the photo in the shower with a time and date to show u i am being honest with your complaint dept . this is uncalled for and a serious matter that should be addressed just for hygiene sakes

I paid 270 dollars to stay here the first day found a bed bug... then I and my son continuously gotten bit up severely The house keepers did not clean my room nor made beds nor took out trash was forced to sleep on a empty bed with no sheets called to the front desk she told me she couldn't get me a sheet to at least put on the bed she told me I had to wait until the next day when I have to check out for it
unauthorized credit card charge
I made a reservation at the Motel 6 located at 24057 Sussex Highway
Seaford, DE 19973 for June 10th thru June 13th for my grand-daughter's graduation. I canceled my reservation on June 9th but noticed on my credit card statement that I was charged $85.31 so I called Motel 6 and was asked if I could be helped, I said "I would like to speak to someone...I canceled my reservation but was still charged for what appears to be a night" the gentleman asked me to call back in 15 minutes as he was with a customer. I have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. Today all I get is a busy signal. My sister and I have stayed there before and we love it. It is convenient, staff was nice, rooms were clean. I would like to have this money credited back to my card.

I made reservation at the camp springs md location then i realize that i forgot to change the date of my stay, i called back to motel 6 an a woman told me she changed the date of my reservation and sent me the new date on my phone, then i get to the camp springs md loacation i found out she stole that day from my account and she made a new reservation for the next day an i still have to pay for that day i told a ugly fat front desk ghetto chick about it an she had a attitude she always sitting cause she dont want you to see her jelly rolls im looking to find another hotel that appreciate there customer instead of ripping them off.

june 15, 16, 17th. 6301 ih 37, corpus christi, tx. this is now Motel 6/Studio 6. this was the by far worse place i have ever stayed. There was no sense of making the customer happy. A little request of getting a phone cord in the room for the landline. All the rooms were not occupied and could have been delivered to the room. the first day friday, not on saturday, nor sunday could they bring a cord to the room. My husband has a bad heart and what if we needed 911.?
The carpets were old and stained, the bed was lumpy. The pool was totally filthy, no way i would put my toe in it. On saturday the bed was made and fresh towels stocked. No other soap left and the hotel did not supply shampoo. There was one ice machine on the first floor beside the office. Too far from the 3rd floor on the backside of the hotel. Walkways were dirty and the small elevator was dirty as well. On Sunday when we returned to the room at 3:30 the room had not been serviced and our keys did not work to open the door. so i proceed to go to the office to get keys fixed and two girls were making beds in a room and i asked if they could go to my room and put sheets and towels in the room. The one mexican girl named Tina proceeds to give me the sheets.. i said no maam, i am not making the bed, she then got an attitude and i said no missy dont get an attitude, she said (with hand on hip) i dont have an attitude but i can show you an attitude if you want? i was appaulled and continued walking to office. Told desk clerk about incident she said she would get it addressed and get them to our room. in the meantime a nice lady that worked in laundry named Verma took care of our request. we thanked her. She spoke little english. We went to the pool that was terrible and went to office to complain. We went back to the room and passed the girl with the attitude, i told my husband that is the one that got an attitude with me. She said, yep that was me, sorry. We were called and the desk lady said she was refunding our stay. First she told me she was refunding 2 nights, and i said ok whatever, we will take care of the rest later. She then refunded all three nights. She did not say we had to leave that day. So, we went to eat and came back. I was asleep and my husband watching tv, when... BANG BANG BANG on the door, my husband said Whos there... BANG BANG BANG on the door... he opened door with weapon drawn, , , and it is the manager of the hotel which we could not reach all weekend... she says, i'm the manager and you can put that away sir. We refunded your money earlier and we see you have filed a complaint, , , , so you need to go.;.. Now! I will be back. So, we were forced to leave at 10:05 pm after, mind you, we had taken our evening sleep and heart meds. Very bad experience and it was our anniversary trip. 0 stars on everything.

I paid 68.24 for the room cost as they had no single bed rooms available
I believe I should be refunded on my citibank card for this nights' stay as this motel provided no service at all.
I will sincerely re-think staying in another motel 6 in the future as this one was horrible.
The motel 6 CEO needs to know about this motel.

Mine and my husband's reservation was canceled due to an invalid ID upon check-out I was unable to take my items with me so my husband called and asked to leave the stuff in the room until he got off work when he picked them up he witnessed one of the employees throwing a bag of our stuff across the office like a basketball I also noticed several items missing from my bags all of my things were misplaced in other bags when they were already in one this is very unprofessional it is rude and it's not right that employees are thieving the guest items

There were cockroaches in the room. Very rude guy at the counter too. He would not give us the senior discount that we had just gotten the week before at a different motel 6. Not a happy customer at all. I use motel 6 every time I travel and have never experienced neither of these things. Definitely wont stay at this location again. This is the one by the airport.
