Manaager wasn't going to rent us room because we lived within 50 mile radius and asked us if we were in trouble! Bathroom was filthy, no shampoo, conditioner or toothpaste, two small towels, hair in bathtub and also soap scum ring, had to force faucet and shower knobs, phone didn't work, light bulbs missing, burns all over, holes in bedspread and bed made awful noises every time you moved, , microwave hadn't been cleaned. As the owner of a cleaning service I couldn't believe their housekeepers are able to keep their jobs! The room wasn't worth 24.00 let alone 64.11. If I dont receive some type of compensation I will be leaving a VERY bad review and won't be spending my money or time at your hotels.

I booked a room at Motel 6 in Beech Grove, IN. I AM transitioning back to Indy from Pensacola, FL. When I FIRST
entered the room it had a very bad musty odor and the bathroom fan was making a horrible noise. I am a jack of all trades so I went ahead and checked out the fan vent and first removed the cover, and that's when 2 used drug syringes, the bottom of two aluminum soda cans that appeared to have drug residue came falling down in my face. Luckily I was not stuck by the needles . I then took the paraphernalia to the front office immediately. The manager called my room the next morning and offered me a partial discount for one night. PARTIAL DISCOUNT FOR ONE OUT OF A THREE NIGHT STAY, WHEN I COULD HAVE BEEN STUCK BY A CONTAMINATED SYRINGE...I AM SORRY BUT THAT IS CRAP!
I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING CALLING THE BBB, AS WELL AS THE LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO REPORT THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND HOW IT WAS HANDLED AFTER THE FACT, BUT I DON'T WANT TO PUT PEOPLE OUT OF A JOB THAT ARE INNOCENT IN THIS SITUATION.

We had ordered a room with a refrigerator for my fiancee's medicine. We did not get a refrigerator with a room and person behind the counter told us he didn't know which rooms had refrigerators, but offered to keep her medicine in his frig., which was unacceptable. We got a bucket of ice and kept the medicine in it. We were traveling, so hit the bed soon, but due to a guest in the room above us, that was pacing the floor for half an hour before we walked to the main desk to complain. They said they would send security up to talk to them. It quieted down for about half hour and the loud pacing started again. We attempted calling main desk, but no answer from the room phone, so I dialed the main desk phone from my cell, which they immediately answered and said they would threaten the other guest to leave if his pacing kept up. This time the pacing stopped about half an hour after we called. The time was about 3 am when the pacing stopped, we could have gotten better sleep in our car. We will no longer be staying at your motels due to this experience and another from last year at a different motel 6 with bad chemical smells.

The front desk lady(jan) with blonde hair is fake and looks like a tweaker, right off the streets. If that's who they have working for them, how clean are the rooms? The manager, sandy, is just as fake and runs around like a chicken lost or with her head cut off. The security is never seen at night time and I do not feel safe at this location, in any way! My recommendations is to stay somewhere else.

When we first walked in, the room really stunk and the bathroom smelled moldy really bad. The floor was dirty. Couldn't walk on it without wiping off your feet. Had to put towels on floor just to get out of bed or shower or brush our teeth. Vent in bathroom was disgusting looking and full of dust. Freezer in refrigerator was caked with ice so thick, couldn't use it. Air unit wasn't clean. Garbage all over the ground behind the motel. Step out on balcony and when you looked down, it was disgusting. Won't ever go there again. Will tell other people not to waste their time or money there. It was in Gatlinburg Tennessee.

I came to Chambersburg PA for a nice visit with my grandchildren. I reserved 2 nights stay at the local Motel 6. After a long day at the Baltimore aquarium my daughter, my grandson and I went to the hotel for a good night sleep. I was not happy when I walk into the room. The room had a damp smell and carpet felt damp. there were stains on the carpet in the hall way and the chair in the room. there was mold above the bed and in the bathroom and the toilet paper dispenser was disgusting. this was my first and last time staying at this hotel chain.

Blood on sheets, dirty floors. The pillows are the cheepest pillows I ever seen in a motel very flat. No blow dryer no tissues. Dogs fighting in motel when i was trying to check in, thought I was going to get bit. I never right on these things but someone needs to know what's going on. I think only one person working and long lines for check. Might what to house the place down.

This was the worst motel experience we have ever encountered. The only reason we stayed was due to the late hour we had arrived. We were so tired, and had our daughters dog with us, so we did not know if we could have found another hotel in the area that was available.
Because we would be arriving late I tried calling the front desk to let them know we were still coming. I wanted to assure that our reservation was secure. I made 4 attempts to reach the desk starting at 9:30 ppm. On the 5th call at 11:15, I finally reached a male at the front desk. I expressed my concern on how hard it was to reach him. His response was "(He)was the only one there." A good customer service response might have been, I am sorry I was assisting other guests, how can I help you?
My question is why didn't he have the phone with him? Is this motel so old, they don't have portable phones?
When we got into our room, I noticed a very visible stain on the decorative pillow on one of the beds. I had my husband go to the front desk to ask for any additional pillows. He brought two back, saying that the same front counter person I talked to on the phone didn't know if he had any pillows. Does this motel not have extra supplies? Is this person at the front counter so new, he doesn't know his job? Or does he just have terrible customer service, and not care about his work. The condition of the pillows were questionable, one didn't have a pillow case on it, the second pillow had a stained pillow case on it. Our dogs bed is cleaner than what he offered us! Did he not see the visible stain my husband and I saw?
I inspected the rest of the bedding to find a possible blood stain on the sheet. Luckily our daughter had her sleeping bag with her, and a blanket. This is what she used to sleep on top of the so called clean fresh linens this hotel offers their guests. If sleeping in our car was an option I would have done that instead.
I then shut the curtain to find that it was ripped. I also discovered burnt out light bulbs in our room. I guess the burnt out bulbs in the marquee should have been a warning to us to not stay there.
Corporate do you really want your name on this facility? It is so obvious that the staff does not care about this facility. They lack any kind of customer service, and clearly do not care about the quality of the job they do.
I will NEVER stay at this location again, making sure my friends and relatives know not to either, and will most likely never stay at any Motel 6 properties, because of this bad experience.
rude uncaring manager
I am a 75 yr old handicapped old lady. I cannot see well enough to drive at night or in the rain so I seldom go anywhere. Once a month on the third Tuesday I have a meeting I very much enjoy attending. It is one hour away from my home. I have made it a practice to drive in to town when it is still light and stay at the Motel 6 next door to the restaurant where my meeting is held. I have done this at least 5 or 6 times in the past year and 1/2. I have used the SAME credit card for every stay.. it is in my husbands name but that has never been an issue until the new management took over and changed the rules. When I arrived it had just started to storm and I was so grateful to be off the road. However, I was refused service because of the card not having my name on it. It was OK to make the reservation with though. The new manager was there and very disrespectful and said they would only take the card if the reservation had been made on Expedia or a site like that. So essentially they turned this old lady out into the rain with no place to stay. I went next door to the restaurant where I was fortunate enough to run into friends who advanced me the $57.00 in cash so I would have a place to stay. I went back to the motel... couldn't see to get on the main road... and paid them. That manager could easily have looked into past reservations (I had stayed there the previous month with the same card booked through their own website) but he refused.. I do intend to blow up social media with my story. Motel 6 Heritage Blvd, Newport TN... Date August 21st.
non working air conditioner, disgusting housekeeping.
On July 3rd of 2018 my Air conditioner went out in my apartment. I had very little money so I went to your motel here in San Angelo. I have stayed there many times and have never had a complaint. I called to make sure there was a room available. Taxi took me to the office I went in paid almost 50.00 bucks. They gave the key to room 208. The room had dead flies on the floor. I turned the air on and maybe ten minutes I noticed the room getting warmer. I called the office They told me to come get a new key card. I almost fell twice getting to office. Thank God the man in 204 helped me to 206. I walked in the bed wasn't made and the air would not even come it was full of mosquitoes. So I called the office she brought me another key card. They floors were nasty but the air worked and I was exhausted. I get my shower lay down in the bed and turned the TV on it came on but no cable. I looked at the wires hanging under the cabinet I call the desk and she tries helping but no cable I turn the TV and the cable was out of the wall coupler. I shove back in and TV came on. I watch for a bit then I start drifting off to sleep. At two am a large number of people start argueing then they start running up and down the stairs. They stopped around 4. I told the staff at check out. They said the ones that check the rooms was supposed put the bad rooms on report and didn't. This caused me considerable pain and suffering they gave corporates number and told me to file a complaint. Which I did on July 4th. I register our room online through Hotels.com. We have been at this location for two weeks. I received a call this afternoon asking if we were extending our stay, I said yes. When I told Suzie my boyfriend will pay either on his lunch if he can or after work, she said the payment is due at 11, so I told her I'll let him know. I text my boyfriend because we usually pay in the evening. He went to pay and was told it was already paid for on my card. I looked at the time and it was only a few minutes before he was up there. Now I have to drive to the bank and deposit the money, which is very inconvenient. I'm in school, and now I have to take more time out of my schedule to rectify this situation.
Don't make a reservation at the Buttonwillow California motel 6. Called on August 14 to make a reservation for August 21 . They charged my credit card for both days. That is correct you get charged for making a reservation . Might help if they understood English better.

We chose this motel based upon website pictures and the reviews.
When we arrived the outside of hotel looked like picture shown on website. Our room however did not. The rooms was dirty as well as old and mismatched. Our ac unit was filthy! The pile of old ac units out back under a trucks trailer should have told me something. After driving 7 hrs last thing I wanted was to drive to another hotel. I cleaned out the ac unit myself. The walls and ceiling all had cobwebs hanging. The walls of the shower was cracked and the sealant pulling up. The lamp base was broken and the bulbs was blown. The night stands looked like they was in a flood.
I wasent expecting a Hilton. But I was expecting a clean place to rest.
I thought franchised hotels were updated and revamped every so many years.
This cleanliness of this hotel needs looked into. I have stayed at motel 6 before but dont remember them being this bad

rude maintenance man
I stayed at Motel 6 in Bloomington Indiana about 3 weeks ago. During my stay there I noticed a man riding around on there golf cart they have there. I found out later from the front desk lady in the morning that he was the maintenance man there and his name was RJ. Well RJ was cussing at another employee there in housekeeping and I found out later was his wife according to the front desk lady. RJ was saying suck vulgar things to his wife in front of me and other guests. His exact words were you never shave your pussy its hairy as hell and [censored]ing smells. When I told this RJ that was uncalled for he turned to me and said he was the manager here at the motel and I better mind my own [censored]ing business before he kicks us out. I immediately went to the front desk to report what was going on and the lady at the desk stated RJ was no manager just a maintenance man and I should report him... The next day again I saw RJ riding around on the golf cart again he seemed to be following the woman he cussed out the day before which like I said was his wife. He started cussing her out again in front of another guest and even at one point shoved her. Now I normally do not complain but I am letting you know right now I have video of this RJ doing this and I am taking it to the papers what kind of motel are you people running.
I believe if you keep letting this man work for your company its shows people what kind of motel you really are

Rude lady at the check-in counter. All she said was "I.D.!", after my husband told her we had reservations. We proceeded to room only to find NO towels, NO toilet paper, and NO soap/shampoo (luckily, I always bring my own of that). Went down to get towels and she gave me 3 sets. I said there are 4 of us, and she rolled her eyes and said, "So, you want an extra towel?" I told her that I didn't want an EXTRA one, but one for each of us would be nice! She rolled her eyes again and gave me another one. Wow. NEVER been treated this bad before! We have stayed here prior, and not had any issues.
housekeeping and ownership
While observing the property and talking with both guests and employees it has been brought to the attention of both ownership and management multiple times that the housekeeper whom speaks no English and is clearly in direct relation to the owners has been walking in on female guests at around 8 in the morning far before checkout. I've spoken with a few guests and this has been happening for months now. I spoke with a maintenance guy and from what he said the owner only stated "I can't see him doing that". Even though this has happened multiple times on seperate occasions. This is disgusting and obvious sexual harassment as the owners seem not to care.

The first day I arrived 8/25/18 reported no working phone and poor functioning/malfunctioning toilet. Reported same problem on Monday and again no maintenance. Cable service was poor, there were only about 6 stations available and no local channels at all. The poorly maintained property should be report to cities health authorities. Visiting from Texas and will do everything I can to make sure that anyone who will listen stops patronizing the Motel 6 chain. If this is a franchise your corporate offices should investigate this location.

Healthy young 1/2 inch cockroach on the headboard of the bed was the first thing I saw when I entered the room moments ago. Smashed it with Motel6 welcome card. None of the other motels/hotels I've stayed in within the town of Laurel MD has had this problem. I stay at the Knights Inn mostly but, thought I'd give Motel6 because of slightly lower rate. Check-in clerk was calm and pleasant. Sheets are clean. I'm afraid to go into the bathroom for fear of what I might discover there!

I have attatched all reservations I have with you from today August 27th, 2018 until October 2, 2018. Including my reservation they cancelled on me today August 27, 2018 after kicking me out of my room I paid for yesterday. Paid in full to their employee yesterday between 1pm-3pm. Now I am being told I did not pay because the employee they had working the front desk was also their supposed maintenance man who informed me he did not know how to print out a receipt before reswiping my room keys that I have had since Friday. The company now says that the maintenance man has been sterling from them and filed a police report this morning, that case # [protected] given to me by the officer himself when I asked him to please file a report for us to be able to pull security footage prooving I paid for my reservation I had today. The officer said to call corporate. I have two different times now. My confirmation number from both corporate calls are 1405847 and 1405865. The management at this location 1754 Thierer Road Madison, Wi 53704 refuses to work with me, but did finally reinstate my reservation until I can get this matter resolved, however he did not take action to look into my claims on paying for my room in full yesterday for todays reservation and he refuses to give me any type of refund as well. I need this dispute handled in a timely manner please, as I am literally sitting in the vebding area as I type this with all of mt belongings on the floor and being denied any type of hospitality until corporate answers the managers emails regarding this matter. Rented a room online for last night Aug 25th 2018 in Miami, Oklahoma, I got there and was told I was on a Do Not Rent To list. they said I had rented a room in June (which I did) for me and my husband, but they said that someone else stayed inside of us which is not true. I have no proof so they would not rent to me. The Motel 6 in Miami oklahoma will not get a good review from my family. rooms were also junky and stunk but not wanting to cause trouble I didn't complain. Went to Econo Lodge last night and got a heck of a lot better room for $8 more. Motel 6 sucks.
