My son Angell Martinez rented 2 rooms on 4/20/2018.at the 51st avenue and mcdowell in phoenix, az. We had relatives coming from out of town. We took my son's uncle who is handicapped into room 108. Then my son's other uncle came to room 110 and he couldn't open the door with key so he went to the office and was informed he was there illegally. Because they did not have their id's for each room. Security said they were going to go throw his uncle out of 108 for the same reason my son came to the motel and told them if they try to throw them out they would have to call the police. Security went and woke them up at 2:30 in the morning for their id's pounding on the door. His other uncle left the motel without getting room 110. So they said at the front desk there is a law in Arizona that whoever is going to stay in the rooms has to have id's in office file. My son said he was not told this and they said well our staff is in training my son said that's not my problem. I called and spoke to the manager he said he didn't care what happened that corporate was called and that they would launch an investigation as to what happened? But, this man wad very rude along with the security and front office staff. My family is a life long user of motel 6 but, after this no more. You need to clean up their attitudes and change management because if this is the way they handle their own errors. You will not have much good customers returning. I'm so disappointed my brother in-law and his wife had no where to go. They said they would refund the money for room 110 but, as of now no refund has been put into his account.

The rooms have been upgrade. But the 2 elevators have been down for years!

This is a non-smoking hotel but they are smoking pot in the adjoining room. I called front desk. They sent up security with a different room key. Security knock on the smokers door. Don't know what happened but they should be fined & kicked out.

I booked a room. As i entered the room, there were stains on the linens, crumbs and hair everywhere under the comforter, a condom in the toilet and we were denied a room key. The stains on the bed looked none the less of semen, and the food crumbs really indicates the sheets were not washed or replaced after the last stay, but just remade. The bathrooms weren't cleaned either as i stated a condom in the toilet. I wasn't expecting perfection at all, but i don't see how replacing new linens and making sure the bathroom was presentable was too much to ask for.

We recently stayed a motel 6 in Jacksonville Fl. we stayed for two nights .first there was no hot water, the shower curtain had mold on it . you had to turn the light switch off and on 3 times to get the lights to come on in the bathroom . turned the air on and it smelled musty at 12 at night people were coming in and out of the parking lot with the music blaring we didn't hardly get any sleep . I went to my car the next morning and someone had throw up all over my car . I'm handicapped and the parking spaces were taken up with cars that didn't have handicapped plates on them I been staying at motel 6s all over the country and never had such a bad time at one motel . Usually the rooms are spotless. This one was bad, very bad. I saw the bugs and that's when I decided to call down to the front desk. He said that he couldn't move me to another room. I was in #319 and below me on the 2nd floor was a loud motor sound coming right through the floor! It was loud enough that I could hear it from the bedroom! Even when I closed the bathroom door! The vent on the ceiling in the bathroom was filthy. As was the Air/Heat unit. The Air/Heat unit had candle wax on it on the slats. The white powder in the unit ? Who knows!
non compliant with ada for service animals
When I checked in there was a woman at the front desk. I told her I had a service dog. A gentleman entered and took over the process of checking me in. I would later find out that this gentleman was the manager. When I went to the front desk the next afternoon to get WiFi information I was with my service animal. He informed me I couldn't leave the dog in the room while I'm at work or he would kick me out. I told him that the dog was a service animal and that he couldn't do that and he said I didn't inform him of the dog. I told him that I informed the lady that started my check in. He said it didn't matter and walked away. I could not take my service dog to work with me and since I don't know anyone in the area I had no recourse but to leave the dog. The manager didn't say anything till two nights later when he called me and informed that since I left the dog that when my week was up I could not renew. Then I found out that two coworkers who are staying at the same hotel are paying less than I am by 100.00. Between refusing me service based on my service dog and charging me a extra fee for the service animal, both of which are illegal, I am highly upset. I decided to go ahead and move out instead of arguing about this since I tried to show the manager the rules of the ADA and he doesn't care. I am having to pay for two hotel rooms because of this till I can get moved out since I am working and can't move all at once. Unfortunately my coworkers who were going to stay there for the six months that we are to work here have decided to move out as well. What can be done about this ?

I applied for a housekeeping position. When i was hired the owner Tesh explained I would not receive a check and that i will be paid with a room. Which i thought was odd. I. Worked two days before i stayed on the property and the owner said i would be paid for the two days i worked and didn't stay. I worked for a week and as the days went by i started to noticed a lot of things i didn't approve of. First he only rented the nice weekly rooms to certain guest and put all the black people who wanted to rent weekly on the third floor which the third floor rooms are not suitable to be rented. When i was in the laundry room he explained do not give no new linen or put any new linen in any third floor rooms. The third floor was only to receive the older linen which had old pee stains and blood stains on them. I over heard him trying to make one guest pay him $125 dollars because her five year old accidentally threw crackers on his sports car. Then called the police and tried to get the five year old arrested. He makes racist comments towards his guest and employees. A health department person came to do an inspection and he told all the employees to make sure inspector did not go in any rooms on the third floor. He only wash his comforters one a month. They have bed bugs and a bad roach infestation. Somebody real needs to expect this hotel really good and needs to check the livimng conditions on the third floor

My husband and I were having a bad morning 6am Monday April 16th we were staying at motel 6 at Winston Churchill and Argentia in Mississauga ontario canada already stayed for 1 week and wanted to pay for another week. My husband has a diabetic problem so when his sugar gets too high he gets a little excited when he talks when he approached the desk clerk he was waving his hands when he was talking he made no threatening gestures did not swear did not raise his voice only was waving his hands. when he tried to talk to front desk clerk we wanted to pay for another weeks stay the clerk said no and told him he doesn't want his kind at the motel told my husband he has 15 minutes to pack up and get out. You lost over $500 due to this mans inappropriate lack of understanding lack of people skills rude behaviour this man should not be in public relations he had an attitude toward my husband he was an Indian man ...unacceptable so unfortunate for you have now lost a long term customer as we will never visit that motel ever again

Me and my cute girls have been staying at Motel 6 for over two weeks now where I have booked online through hotels.com therefore I can get it cheaper than paying directly to the hotel the owners/management have done nothing but harass me over this discriminated against me every time I turn around there yelling at me because I'm booking online he has charge me an extra $20 I've had nothing but problems so April 16th through the 19th I had booked through booking.com or hotels.com and they told them that they had no rooms available however I called and asked if they had a room with the alible for that day and they said yes they did therefore they are discriminating against me consent be done about this please

I have been staying with motel 6 for a while. Well I was told not that if I don't have i'd by tomorrow that wil refuse to rent to us bow I had a problem. Abd my i'd was never returned. So I had alternate i'd I could use. Not good enough. Now this the same person. Who knows my i'd is on file. Why not just use that. So cause my by vf rents the room they don't me on the room. That nerve. Is this employee that gun hoe to go the rules. Seriously. We mind our business we don't cause any problems. And the fact we been here a while is wrong of them to treat us like this.. They aact like we never been here. Believe me i'm not happy about this..
room cleanliness and staff unprofessional
We checked into the Springfield, OH Motel 6 as we were traveling out of town that weekend. We set our belongings in the room and left to go to the event we were in town for.
Upon arriving back for the evening we noticed our room was not clean, there was no toilet paper, the toilet didn't flush and there was no water pressure. There was also an undesirable smell to our room.
We went down to the desk to ask for a refund as we would not stay in a place that was that disgusting. We waited in a line because there was several other people complaining about the same things. At the time we asked for a refund they issued it but the desk person made a comment that we, "only came there to [censor] and shower."
The next day another employee called to say they would not be issuing a full refund so we requested to speak with a manager. The employee said there was not one on duty and to call back the following day. We called back the following day when we were told to call, and again no manager on duty. We called back for a third time, again when they said the manager would be in and this time the front desk employee got extremely unprofessional, talking over us, so we asked for her name and she said, "that's none of your business" and again hung up.
We then called corporate who called the Springfield, OH location. They also got hung up on.
I have never dealt with a business that was so unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Beareau as the situation still isn't resolved and I will never stay at another Motel 6.
cleaning and sanitization along with rude desk clerk
I stayed over a month at this location and when I got my room I had to make my own beds and they left top covers from previous guest used for me to use without being washed first.When I asked for some clean sheets I was told my room wasn't on the list for the day. Non the less I asked if they can clean my bathroom due to mold from last guest, when they were done the bathroom looked the same mold was never removed. It's so bad now that it's in the gruot and calking around the bathroom. I became sick with sinus and they still wouldn't do anything for me. So I left after spending over $2033.54 on a room I couldn't get cleaned right and the cost of my medical expenses.If I could leave them a 0 for the score I would. Not including the prostitutes they have running out of the rooms. The sight of a have naked woman jumping from car to car and then from room to room. I felt nasty after realizing how low of an interest the owner had in removing the woman who made his guest feel unsafe due to the company they kept. (John's in and out)

I reserved to stay at motel 6 in cocao beach Florida April 6th to April 11th. I been waiting days to get it cleaned. I've asked multiple times an they keep saying they'll get to it when they get to it. My blankets are disgusting they got stains on them the floor is so dirty with dirt. The people in the office don't seem to care they didn't apologize or assure me anyone would be here to clean my room. I'm so pissed off an disgusted I will never stay at a motel 6 again. They hire nothing but trashy people that obviously don't take into consideration people work hard to pay to be here to feel comtorble. This has been a nightmare vacation.
manager unprofessional and rude behavior
Let me start off by saying that I really like Motel 6 very comfortable and clean. Recently me n my 3 & 4 year old kids became homeless due to their dad passing away. So we stayed at a few motels and they were nasty we went to the Pomona California Motel 6 the first few days were great until one day I didn't have the money well the mgr gave me til 4 to pay which I did n the next day a church group came n paid for me at 11:30 am after those 2 days passed I couldn't get the money on time well I went to talk to her again n let her know what was going in she gave me til 2 at exactly 2 a friend of mine said she would pay she called the motel and told the mgr she was gonna pay online for me. the manager told her all my business and exaggerated it at that. Telling her I never pay on time etc. My friend at 3 I texted my friend to see if she paid n she said yes so I went to the office with my ID n that's when she told me my friend didn't pay. But at that moment my best friend called me to see if we got the room n I told her what was going on n she said let me talk to her n the mgr raised her voice for all to hear what was going on. This is a bad situation me n my babies are in and to get treated like this in unnecessary and wrong. She gave me attitude and dirty looks and told me that was the last time we stay there. I told her to stop acting like this and that I was truly sorry and appreciated her help she shook her head and walked off. I know that that was just one motel 6 but after that humiliating show I will never go back to motel 6 again. She needs to go to a customer service seminar to learn how to act. rude service
The bed had old blood stains on it. I complained & was told that I could go stay at Marriott. No acknowlegement of my complaint. The blood was on the edge of the mattress cover & she indicated it was not a problem because I had the whole bed surface, & did not have to be on the blood stain. She yelled at me and said "get out! Go stay at the Marriott".
My husband Byron Greatorex, & I are traveling senior citizens. We always stay at Motel 6. We have never been so disappointed, not to mention personally insulted by manager.

On March 30, 2018, through Book.com, I made a room reservation at Motel 6 in Camp Springs MD around 9:30am. Can provide reservation # on request. I called that motel around 11:00 am to see if we could get in any earlier. I got a person, not sure man or woman in a very non professional voice say motel 6, ? . He/She told me No, not until 2:00 pm. So at 1:45pm, I called to say I was on my way. The person said I told you room be ready at 3:00am. I politely said no you didnt. Person began to argue with me. I told him/her you didnt and I have 3 witnesses to prove it. Immediately phone was hung up on me
I got in car, went there and asked are you the person who hung up on me and they said Yes. Proudly, I might add. I said that was rude and unprofessional. The person look like a man but I thought I saw breast, so I asked are you male or female. Because they were acting like a male, shrugging shoulders and making mean face, walking with a pimp, dreads covering face and chest area. I'm black. I asked about my reservation and was told to wait. I asked if they gave mine away. She disappeared for 10 minutes, came back and made me wait another 5 minutes before saying we don't have No rooms. Those words. I was pissed. We argued a few minutes and then she said I can cancel your reservation and you won't be charged. I will say you had emergency. I asked for something to give book.com so my card wouldn't be charged and she said No dont have nothing. So she cancelled my reservation. I told her working with. people require skills that she dont have. I told her she act like a N, rude, ugly and unprofessional and that I would report her. She told me didnt care. I ended up getting a room for a little more, 30 miles away. But promissed her I would report her actions. Motel 6 in Camp Springs, MD I will tell everyone I know not to visit your dump. You get what you pay for. Because of Easter holiday, it took me almost 6 hotels to find a vacancy. Book.com was very helpful and tried calling Motel 6, I understand he couldn't get anyone to answer. I guess not. She probably knew the numner and knew I had followed through. With her ugly attitude, I doubt she cared or her upper management for that matter.

1st of all all other motels were booked so had to take this one and just for this night they added 10.00 on to the rooms. 100.00 and 105.00. There is no hair dryer the beds move all over the floor no frig no microwave no coffee pot. Furniture is old and dirty. The tub was filthy my chair for the desk no handy plug ins. after more than 2 months staying at motel 6, now housekeeping cleans room only twice a week!
Have paid for every night since Feb. 7, 2018 with daily housekeeping for towels, emptying trash and making beds, Motel 6 now telling me I only get housekeeping 2 days every week. Told them that is information they must tell customers when they check in and pay. I have to go to the office twice every night to get towels for the next morning because they say they don't have enough to give me what I'm supposed to have in towels until I go back to the office again later each night! Told them I would start putting my trash from overflowing trash cans and used towels outside of my room if I wasn't going to receive housekeeping which I pay for at $320 each week. They've broken an implied contract which every hotel guest receives. I will also contact the national office about this. They also made an unauthorized credit card charge while I was out of town and I always pay cash! Used a credit card here one time in February and never authorized charges after that one time. I believe it's illegal to make unauthorized credit card charges also, but I'll check with the district attorney here in Dallas.

I stayed there for a night and left a item there I wouldn't have but there pillows are pathetic they are flat as a pancake so u used my robe and rolled it up to help with pillow I would not worry about it because it's just a robe but it is very special to me my father got it for me right before he past away unexpectedly recently. So I want it back and the workers there are [censor]ing me around for 3 days now. And its not like they can give me $20 how much it cost I don't want that I know the housekeeper took it I don't care if she did just bring it back I was a housekeeper for 6 years so I know that some of the housekeeper steal guest [censor] give it back or I will be up there tomorrow!
I know I left it. I know exactly where I left it and if they really change sheets or move the pillows I know they seen it so do the right thing! Please!

El Cajon, ca. Literally got to the motel today, walked in & first thing I noticed was hair all over the floor like they didn't clean the floors. Then there was hair on the sheets? Do they not clean their rooms? I got my son down to bed & someone next door stared playing loud music like a sub with loud bass at 10pm-all night. Shaking everything in our room. I Called the front desk & they barely did much except give me a bad attitude. The music was playing all night. There's homeless tweakers walking around all over the place, being loud at all times of the night. I do not feel safe here. Plus you have to pay for wifi? Why! Next time I'm going to the north gate motel down the street. Their rooms & front desk people are nicer and overall more comfortable over there. Plus free wifi. Never again with motel 6.
