made reservations but have got to wait 2 hrs
Well I tried to make reservations hours ahead of time and when I call the front desk exhausted from 16 hr shift they tell me after my confermation number cones through to come back in 2 hours how is this ok I mean I can understand at shift changer or during 12pm but this is at 11 pm please help with this it is a shame to pay for a room but sleep in your truck very unprofessional

My husband and I and a woman work for an auction business. We was on our way back from Arkansas and decided to go into this Motel 6 just to see if they had any rooms available for one night. I am referring to Monday, November 27, 2017. I have to mention that we debated whether to stay at the Motel 6 or go across the road to the Super 8. Your clerk said, "yes we have rooms available". So my husband requests a one bed for him and I. Another room for our co-worker. She wanted a "smoking room". Never thought this type of room was ever available at any hotel/motel anymore. She was reserved at room 205 and ours was 221.
So we brought our belongings into our room, smelled like smoke and while doing so next door (I believe it was room 220) they had this barking dog that never stopped barking while we was there. So we left to get dinner and when we returned this dog into that room was still barking. My husband has good ears and says, "we're not listening to this all night". He went back down to the service desk and asked the Clerk for another room. She said, she had a one bed but it was on the side where you could hear the traffic. He didn't want to hear that either so he said, "we'll take the room with 2 beds in it. Want the Room #? Sure, 227.
Well...a total mistake on our part. This room was worse than the first one. A huge down grade from room 221. I need to tell you what was so bad;
1. There was no Kleenex.
2. No hairdryer.
3. Couldn't of been swept, cause there was food particles on the floor.
4. No smoke detector, wires hanging where one used to be.
5. The TV really should be updated to a flat screen and there was absolutely no choice of selection to watch.
6. In this room, no microwave or refrigerator. But there was in Room 221.
7. Here's the worst; I pulled back the sheet to lay down onto the first bed in the room and on the sheet were pieces of hair and something else. (don't have a clue what it was) the pillow case had a stain on it and so did the fitted sheet. Along with a pink spot under the pillow.
I asked for clean sheets and the clerk said, housekeeping isn't here.

The Manager Here at Motel 6 Claremont asks for sexual favors when a female guest is asking for discounts. He sleeps around with the female guest and passes dirty comments. Wondering if some one can take actions against him. Not all the women likes to sleep around. It's disgusting that someone with a higher position would use his powers for his personal pleasure. It's such a nice motel but the manager degrades the property. I hope someone from corporate can do something about this.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and the front desk clerk (all but two) are either very rude or they just don't know anything. I have had to change my room several times due to broken heaters, no hot water, and towels have spots on them or long hairs inside the towels. When I notified the front desk they said you can change rooms if you like I had to go downstairs to get a new room and once I got downstairs I had to wait on the clerk to make keys for the room when he knew I was coming to change my room. When you complain they just say sorry you ask for a manager they don't know when he or she is coming in. I asked for a survey the clerk didn't know they had them. I'm not sure if being friendly or knowledgeable of the company they work for is a requirement but it should be. I have stayed here due to convenience of work and the house fire I had recently I'm now paying out of pocket so the price is reasonable or I would never stay there.

This hotel is terrible. I will not recommend it to anybody. we stayed a week and our microwave did not worked. we were sleeping with blankets with holes in it. When we asked for another blanket we never got it. We were told by the front desk they did not have any more blankets. The room service was lousy. We will come in at night into the room to find the beds were not made, we did not had one clean towel to take a shower, nor any soap, nor toilet paper. The hallways had an awful smell and also the room as we would go in. We could not sleep during the night because we will hear hammering or some type of construction work above our room. There is no breakfast offered, only coffee. When I approached the housekeeping lady one morning she was very rude. One night we came in and the toilet almost flushed where the night clerk had to come in with the plunger. Next morning it was not right, and they came in and told us it was because we did not pushed the toilet level right! We asked the front desk for a refund, she told us the manager was not there for us to come back later. At that time we booked another hotel and went back later to speak to the manager as we were told. He was not even there..the same front desk lady told us the manager said he was not going to give us any refund! We are staying another week in Waco at a hotel that is only $10.00 higher a week than Motel 6 at Woodway, Texas. We get free full hot breakfast. Hotel smells nice. Our room is wonderful as well as room service. Do not make the mistake we made when we went into Motel 6 and did not shop around. It is a rat hole!

I called in and filed a complaint about the service received from the front desk/housekeeper. I was promised a coupon to allow me another stay. However I have not received it in over 30 days nor heard anything else from customer service. I am now at the point where I don't want just a free night. Your white desk clerk was rude and prejudice to me. I work down the street and had a burst pipe in my house. I just moved been on the road all day and chose Motel 6 to get some rest. The floor was absolutely disgusting of which I took a pic of my feet, the sheets had dirty spots that I did not notice till this morning...the sheets had not been washed, the comforters have burn holes in them, and now just took a like warm shower. I stayed at the Webster, TX location in room 139. I am very disgusted. I spent good money for this horrible experience.

I paid for three nights. With in few hours. Called front desk air conditioning didn't work. They couldn't switch me rooms. Well few mins later my girlfriend went pee. And when she flushed toilet [censor] tampons toilet paper started coming off for at least five mins. Before I could [censor] water off. Told front desk and they gave me three towels and a plunger. I said 300 towels wouldn't clean it. So I walked back to the room. When I got in room. Phone rang. Guy said I had five minutes to leave or they calling police on me number one. That's breach of contract. Can't kick me out cause your hotel under construction and it iverflowed cause poor maintance. But he did anyway. Cops made me leave. Had sleep in field for two days till I got money get a room again. All of our clothes are ruined he wouldn't pay to wash them. And everything we owned was on the floor. customer service, theft, vandalism and wrong ejection from hotel
On November 12th my husband and I stayed at Motel 6 Ventura on Johnson Drive. Earlier that day prior to getting the room we had sold a vehicle that we owned to somebody through Craigslist the sale went great and we parted ways which led to us getting a motel room at Motel 6. About an hour into our stay we got a knock at the door and we looked out the people and it was the two gentlemen that we had sold the vehicle to, we were shocked to see them at the door and it appeared as though they were not happy, we did not discuss with them what our plans were where we would be going or anything like that so we had some concern. 5 minutes in to the knocking it became more abrupt the knocking turned into pounding and then demanding and then threatening, we called the front desk and ask the lady at front if she had given out our room number to anyone and she said she did not still concerned with these people still knocking at the door I'm pretty upset at this point they indicated that we had 5 minutes to answer the door and that they would be back so when it was clear that they were gone we rushed to the front office and called the police, the police said if it continues to call them back so we hung up the phone and we discussed with the front desk lady the possibility of hiding out in another room temporarily until the cops came which we have done. When the cops came day treated us like we were criminals when in fact we were victims who were scared and my husband who's on probation has Search terms so the officers exercise their right to search the room. Upon doing so they came across some drugs and drug paraphernalia which day pinned on my husband and arrested him and myself, meantime the hotel front desk had called us and said that we needed to move our things out of the first room that we were in and we responded saying that we did not feel comfortable to go back to that room and move our stuff seeing as how these people were out there lurking so they said okay will call you back and they never called back but they had gone ahead and removed all of our belongings from that room the original room which was 111 and stored at somewhere in office and that's when we were arrested and also told that we were not to come back. When We Were released from jail the next day we returned to the motel to pick up our belongings and my vehicle and that's when I noticed that my tires were slashed I reported this to the office and they said that they assure me that it's an unrelated isolated event which is not true because in addition to finding my tires slashed as we were sitting in my car those two men approached us again they had stayed there overnight in their cars waiting for us they pulled their vehicle up in front of mine and blocked us from leaving and begin to threaten us explain to them that we did not have their money we were sorry that they were unhappy with their purchase that we had gone to jail and that we just wanted to be able to leave and that the police have been notified and they let us go because of my tires being slashed I was unable to leave with my car so I left it parked on the property for yet another night when I returned the next day my car had been broken into and several items had been stolen out of my car. Also when we picked up our property there were things missing including money that we had left in that room we do not have a chance to grab all of our belongings we left at room in a hurry out of fear for our safety . I would like this situation looked and I would like compensation due to the loss of property money humiliation and bad treatment and for allowing my vehicle to be vandalized and stolen out of under the circumstances that were out of my control I have made a police report if you would like that documentation I'd be more than happy to provide it. The employees at that Motel or unreasonable uncooperative dishonest and absolutely rude and quite devastating to experience they did nothing to help us they did not tell the truth to the officers and I believe that plays a part in the initial treatment that we received from the police when they responded to our call we have done nothing wrong whatsoever and I understand the complexity of the situation and I just hope that you will take into consideration that these things do happen to people and it did happen to us and we're not bad people we're simply having a hard time in life and wanted somewhere safe and comfortable to relax and that did not happen I feel that you're Motel Guest Services gave up our information as to what room you're in and that usually jeopardize our whole evening cost us over $800 to bail out of jail for drugs that were not ours we had only occupied that room for 15 minutes tops we have no belongings in that room other than ourselves like I mentioned before this was only a temporary thing while we waited for officers to come

Unfortunately you do not have any proof that the front desk gave out your room information. Additionally, Motel 6 is not legally responsible for any damages to your car or any property left behind in the original room. These are standard hotel/motel policies.

I stopped at the motel 6 in Little Rock, Arkansas, all I wanted was a room for the night, I was given a room and the key/card would not work, several other people were at the front desk with the same issue, key/cards not operable. The manager, out of frustration was using the "F" word directed at the maintenance workers, it took him over half hour to eventually get me in a room, once I got in the room I found it so disgusting I slept in my car. I'm going to follow up with a further complaint to the State Health Dept, there is mold growing along side of the bed, the list, the tub/shower unit looks like it came out of a meth lab, the toilet is plumbed so bad it cannot flush away the last occupants waste and comes with it's own plunger!

I recently reserved a room at Motel 6 in Decatur Ga. On Candler Rd. The rooms were filthy with the thugs hanging in hallways and prostituting women up and down hallways, drug dealers hanging in lobby at the front desk area and the clerk letting them sale drugs...The hallways had trash and used condoms on floor, I request for a cleaner room and was sent to a different nasty room, none have remotes, I left to a cleaner location and I want my refond immediately it was a crackhole.

We just stayed at the motel 6 in Lafayette Indiana. We came in for a family party from Cleveland. The hotel itself needs alot of tlc. I would suggest better housekeeping. But the biggest problem I had was we booked a double room for 4 people. We we're given 2 towels and 1 wash cloth which makes it really hard for all of us to shower and get ready for the party. I asked the front desk for more. They said they didn't have anymore clean. So long story short 3 of us could not shower before the party. I'm so disgusted that we weren't offered any kind of help. We travel there often but will never stay there again.

On Friday Oct 6 2017 my estranged husband checked into your Roseville Mn location rm #303. On Sunday nite he (Kenny Mccadney) became violent causing me to leave hotel urgently with your manager (blonde hair caucasian) lady and your security guy assisting me with loading things into my vehicle. I explained to them he had become violent and suffered from PTSD, Bipolar disorder, multiple personality and had "SERIOUS" drug problem although even after explaining this they did not call authorities nor was Kenny asked to leave. A week after incident occured I recieved anonymous phone call from a hotel staff member (housekeeper) stating Deidra (your front desk) agent had been seen leaving my husbands room frequently and was having sex with him. I visited your motel 6 location to speak with manager about this matter only to find out Deidra (African american female drives cream colored escalade) front desk agent had put me on a Do Not Rent list I asked manager why was I on list she said it was from my previous rental in June. I explained to her that was put into system by Deidra and this lady had become involved with my husband then Diedra pulled manager to the back and spoke with her they returned your manager became very rude then stated my husband and I both would be put onto list. I mentioned to her why was my husband allowed to remain there the manager
Stated she did not know he (Kenny) was still living there. I told her they handled situation very unprofessional, police weren't called when he assaulted me. I also explained that Deidra put herself into danger by visiting his room alone not knowing his mental state and also not knowing of his criminal history I also told them I am his PCA and payee and would only visit hotel to check on him periodically when I was attacked. I also explained to them my husband was only in military 3 years before being discharged for his drug use and mental state... again I feel your staff was (is) very unprofessional and shouldn't be sleeping with guest and in retaliation adding the wives to do not rent list. I myself work in professional environment I'm employed with CNBC news (New york) division (18 yrs) I'm also the sister to the President of NAACP, my brother Dexter is a state rep for Ga. Please look into this matter I've attached photo's of my husband showing his criminal history and the dangers your staff faced while having an affair with him.

I booked a room at motel 6, prescott az. #166, through expedia for nov. 4th.
We arrived later in the day, first off there wasnt much parking for a 26ft. Moving truck there, and the front desk clerk gave us a room clear around in the far back of the building. We were tired, and being as we are both disabled people, having to haul our things, and our service animals that far from the truck was very hard and inconvient.
Then we got into the room only to see there were no... Towels, soap, tppr, nothing.
We call the front desk 3 times, only to have the phone just continue ringing, with no answer. Finally after a 4th try the young girl answers, we explain to her we have nothing in the room, her answer, you, can come up to the office to get all the stuff we didnt put in the room or, you can go to the closest maids closet and a maid will meet you there and get you your stuff. Really? We paid 95.00, for a dirty room, and to be treated with disrespect... We want a full refund!
Did you let them know you were disabled at any point? If you stayed the entire night at the hotel, you did receive what you paid for and are most likely not entitled to a refund (though they may be willing to offer you a discount).

I spoke to the front upon arriving for my 2nd night because my key card was deactivated even tho my room was for 2 nights. I told them there was a space in my room door where air and anything crawling could get into my room. They informed me they would send maintenance. After waiting 2.5hrs I called the front desk and the woman out me on hold. After being on hold for 5mins I decided to hang up. 20mins later I call again and now nobody is answering the phone. This has been a horrible experience. Customer service sucks here if you need them to do anything other than check you in. I couldn't find my room yesterday twice they sent me to two different rooms but wouldn't show me where the room was. And then the 3rd room has the door problem? And i'm paying a little over $100 per night? I'm not happy at all. To top things off the bedding was super wrinkled and had stains. I asked for fresh sheets and made the bed myself.

I went on vacation on friday the 3rd. This is my 2nd time I booked at motel 6. The first one it pretty good. That's why I went back this time.
But unfortunately, the manager of the motel was so bad. She doesn't know how to handle the issue. So unprofessional. And I so surprised that she get the position as a manager when she doesn't even know how to treat customers.
I booked for 3 days, but I have an emergency I have to leave a day early. I live up north california. So the drive take 7-8hrs. To prevent the traffic, I leave at 5:30am, so the clerk said, they don't have cash to refund me for the 3rd day that I didn't stay for. She said to call back around 9-10am the manager will take care of it.
I called back at 3pm and I talked to her, and she keeping telling me that when u pay cash, they refund cash back and I have to be there for them to pay me. But I keep telling her that I am already home and between north and south is 7-8 hrs drive... She keep go around the bush and telling me things that I already know. Instead of go around the bush... She could of told me... Let me call the corp. To see how they can do the refund for me. I told her, either u put the credit back to my account or send me a check of refund. But she keeping saying when u pay cash... The refund have to be cash. I said but there sudden issue that they have to leave and it not our fault that u don't have cash at that time to refund us.
I told her, I will call the corp. Myself to tell them the issue. She's so lazy and she try every which way to avoid not solve the problem. She even told me like... Don't bother to call corp. Because they will transfer me back to her branch.
I went and call the corp. And there this clerk he was so nice and he told me no problem they will mail me the refund check for it. And he's so professional. And I even told him about that manager, she don't know how to do her job and she doesn't have any character at all. She just standing around and talk to the clerks there in spanish in front of us. How rude that is. No manner what so ever. And she consider herself as manager. This is the second I am there will be last time... The worse customer services ever. Especially as a manager... Never thought those kind of people can be in that position... What a shame.

My fiancé and I were woken up at 540 am by a loud banging on our door. I open the door and there is a black girl rudely stating I must leave. I asked for what reason because she woke me up out my sleep. She's like you are smoking in the room. So I told her that's not true and I clearly don't smell like smoke. So she rolled her eyes and neck and continued speaking with an attitude. I told the lady if I leave right now I want my money back. I woke my fiancé up and told him let's go. We get to the front desk and the lady was very belligerent when I asked her for her managers contact and her name. Meanwhile she called her manager on her cell phone and began rudely talking about me and my appearance and cussing and more.

Upon walking into my motel room, I found trash left in the trash can from the visitors before me. In addition, I discovered burn holes in all layers of the sheets. Under the bed was crumbs and old pieces of food and other items. The room also smelled like smoke and we were staying in a non-smoking unit. Very loud vibrating fridge - caused problems with my health. Reported problem yesterday, the day I arrived, and asked for it to be fixed or to be moved to another room. The following morning I informed the front desk that the problem had not been looked at and that I had unplugged fridge to be able to sleep but have food items that needed refrigeration so plugged it back in. Again I asked for it to be fixed or to be moved but staff would not move me and said maintenance would get to it when they could. I went back to room 148 and on the way witnessed maintenance picking up trash in the parking lot. I waited as long as I could but the noise caused an autonomic nervous system reaction and I started sweating profusely and got vertigo (dizzy). My face was rebuilt after a auto accident many years ago and loud, high pitched sounds and direct bright light cause my body to react. I went back to the front desk and was told maintenance would get to it when they could (basically trash is more important that a guest's physical health). The lady at the front was not nice so I chose to leave in the interest of my health. I ask that corporate review the front desk security video which shows I was sweating profusely, was very pale and was obvious;y having a medical problem. The lady at the front desk was not nice so I felt I had no chose to leave this motel in the interest of my health.
I have already received medical treatment and may have to return for more - my attorney has advised me that I had the legal right to leave based on the negative effect on my health and the hotel not addressing made my condition worse.
I have stayed at other Motel 6's and have never had a problem or been treated this badly by Motel 6 employees. I am requesting that 100% of what I was charged be refunded to my card - I only stayed the first night and the result is a serious medical problem. It will take medication and several days for my problem to subside. I also had to cancel a job interview scheduled for the afternoon due to my medical condition - this is not acceptable and the people involved at this Motel 6 should be held accountable and advised of the repercussions of not addressing a medical or other serious issue in a reasonable time. Doesn't Motel 6 reprimand or terminate employees for treating your guests this way?
FYI
I have never been treated as badly by any employee of any other Motel 6 I have stayed at as I was by the Motel 6 employees at the Fort Collins Motel 6.
I would appreciate a prompt response and verification that charges have been removed. I also request Motel 6's legal department phone number per my attorney's request (should it become necessary to pursue monies paid to Motel 6 in Fort Collins and possibly medical bills associated with the problems with my health this situation caused). Nasty and rude employees who refused to help make this an issue worth pursuing (Motel 6 has cameras recording all of this, correct?). I know this is Colorado but I have never been treated this badly by any other Motel 6 employee,
