I was harassed by drug users all night long the room had roaches in it the pool was disgusting there was trash in the pool all around the pool there was needles and trash the room smelt like smoke the sheets had burn holes in them and the ac didn't work the tv half worked and housekeeping was terrible the front desk would knock on our door at 4 am to ask about other tenants my 2 year old was stuck in the room because of the whole environment.

I would like to be contacted with corporate office in regards to our recent stay at a Motel 6 in Bridgeview, IL. From the time we arrived it was a very big disappointment. There were people that looked homeless hanging out in the parking lot and around the front desk being loud and smoking. This was not only happening during the day but all hours of the night. Both nights of our stay we did not get to sleep until after 1:30 am due to yelling outside, doors slamming, having to keep an eye on our vehicle and people up and down the hallways.
We arrived and went to our room which was so damp and cold it felt like a prison. The tile floors throughout made it wet feeling and it echoed. The furniture just slid across the floors. There were no pictures on the walls, no toiletries, no remote control and the tv was staticky. We had no garbage can and the plastic was still on the mattresses which caused your sheets and bedding to slide off.
The first room we were sent to wreaked like smoke and we had to request another room on another floor. It was specifically requested that we weren't near any smoke in the hotel due to asthma.
The first girl we worked with upon check in was very pleasant.
It is a complete fire hazard due to the switches being filthy and loose with just new covers over them. There were no drain plugs in either the tub or the sinks. The fire sprinklers were filthy and the one in the bathroom had a huge opening around it allowing water from the shower to spray up into it into the wiring. The doors all did not fit properly into the frames which was heard all through the motel by people slamming them.
There was not breakfast or coffee in the mornings and we were told it was to keep costs down.
This place was absolutely horrible and we did not feel safe at all. We would like to be reimbursed for our two night stay; we booked through booking.com which also got a very detailed report of this. This place shouldn't even be in operation due to hazards and safety.
We will be waiting for a reply in regards to our reimbursement. This was really gross.

We actually stayed here 6 years ago when it was a Days Inn and it was wonderful. Not sure how a place could be remodeled and become worse.

Front desk associate was really disrespectful and my room was horrible there were roaches in the room. My room covers were not clean and towels were dirty! I went on motel6.com and decided to book a room since the pics looked good. The room of that particular motel was nice, clean and had wooden floor. When I arrived to the motel, front desk didn't greet me and went straight to business! - give me your id and credit card! When I gave him credit card, he was charging me 3$ more then the amount on reservation! When I wanted to dispute, he just yelled at me! Ok, let me tell you what my ghetto room looked like : dirty stained carpet covered with mold, nails sticking out of the wall, damaged lamp on the table, bed cover with tobacco holes, smell and stains etc... My room was non smoking! I was lucky I didn't see bed bugs or roaches after paying over 100$ (promotional price)! When I kept calling front desk so I would cancel the sale and move out, he didn't pick up the phone. I was too tired after 25 hrs of travel time and slept there like dead!

after talking directly to the motel 6 staff at the Midlothian, Va. location, I made a reservation thru a travel site. I requested a ground floor room, non smoking, and advised them I would be traveling with 3 dogs. I was told by motel 6 that there would be a $10.00 a night charge for the third dog. Later on, I received an email from them stating that there would be a $15.00 a night charge for the third dog. Also, I was told that I would have to keep all three dogs in crates while at motel 6. I called the motel, and was again told it would be a $10.00 charge and they did not know anything about having to crate my dogs. The girl I talked to said that she would have to talk to her manager. I asked her to please call me back to clarify this situation. I never heard back. In addition to the language barrier (talking to an indian or pakistani) the change in pet rules, and them trying to get an extra $5.00 a night fee, I cancelled my reservation. I have stayed at motel 6 many times, with my dogs, and never had a bit of trouble (or paid any extra fees for the third dog).
