I applied for an Online Upgrade in the beginning of Nov 2023 since they had a special on their Samsung A34 with free watch. Upgrade was approved, received email from MTN. Then I received an email that DSV will deliver the cellphone. When DSV arrived my fingerprints could not verify therefore they could not hand me the phone, they advised to contact MTN and advised then that biometrics failed and how they can assist in order for DSV to come back with MTN approval to deliver on another option in order to get my phone.
I called and spoke to so many people and each one is giving me a different story.
I am a MTN client since 1995 and have been upgrading my Contract every two years and never had this problem. when I go to the store I get my phone same day, why am I getting this POOR SERVICE from Online Upgrade. This is so UNFAIR.
We on the 1st Dec 2023 and still no phone. I was told that the matter was escalated but still no outcome.
MTN can go through my records and see that I am a Long standing client with them but getting very POOR SERVICE just on a delivery of my cellphone.
