Mtn. View @ 153 I bought a truck from Mtn View 153 with an agreement that some things would be fixed

I bought a truck from Mtn View 153 with an agreement that some things would be fixed. I've called them four times, but every time I get put on hold. When I ask for the salesperson, they tell me he's not in today. I asked to speak to a manager, but he said I wouldn't like what he had to say because it's between me and the salesman. He's not responsible for his team, which is something I've never heard before. They've been avoiding my calls, and he said they would contact me tomorrow. I think people should know that they tell you what you want to hear to make the sale, and then good luck. I'll let you know if they actually come through on their promise.

Mtn. View @ 153 This place don't do what they say they gonna do

This place don't do what they say they gonna do. Got a car in April, sales lady told me she gonna fix 3 things, which I asked about when I saw it. After I bought the car, they asked if I had it written on paper, no I was going on good faith like they did with me on the trade in, deposit, etc. They keep lying to me and now I'm stuck with a car that got water in the headlights, blinker pushed in so you can't even see it. They lied and cheated me on these things and accused me of lying, but I got a daily written diary of everything that was said and done! And every time I tried to talk to someone higher up, they just give me the run around. Still ain't got no call back, email, or text from them either.

Mtn. View @ 153 I'm really disappointed

I'm really disappointed. I got a 2020 Jeep Cherokee from there about a month ago. The low oil pressure light came on within 2 weeks of having it. I called the service center and they got me in the next week on a Thursday. The day before my appointment, the jeep stopped working while my husband was driving up the mountain in 100-degree weather. The check engine light was on at this point. I called to see if they would send a tow truck to pick it up and take it to their shop, but they said I would have to call my extended warranty people to see if they would pay because they wouldn't. So, I did. The extended warranty people said they would pay up to $100, and we would have to pay the rest, but honestly, that's not fair to me. We shouldn't have to pay anything for this Jeep when we've only had it for less than a month. But anyways, when I went to drop it off, the check engine light turned off and the low oil pressure light, go figure. We called on Tuesday to check on the jeep, and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and that I could come get it. I'm really angry at this point, so the next day, "Today," my husband tried to see if we could switch to a different vehicle because I don't trust this jeep anymore. They said they wanted to make it right and try, but long story short, we didn't get another car because they didn't recommend it, probably because they would add a payment to the new one. I'm so irritated at this point. They told us to take it to Jeep and see if there's something wrong, but we would have to pay for the diagnostic test. Not fair to me. We left for the service center, and when we got my keys to leave, my jeep was EMPTY. They literally used half a tank of gas and didn't put any back in. My husband went inside, and all they said was, "we had to test drive it"... this is not cool. I don't recommend getting anything from here, and I will never go back for future purchases.

Mtn. View @ 153 I went to Mountain View @ 153 on November 3, to buy a car

I went to Mountain View @ 153 on November 3, to buy a car. I gave them $2500 and they asked me to take it for a quick test drive so they could inspect it and make sure it was safe for me to drive home. They kept the car for almost 2 weeks, maybe even longer, before I could finally take it. I only had it for one day before I had to return it. Now they're trying to make me pay for all sorts of crazy repairs on a car that I barely even drove, just for a test drive. It doesn't seem fair to me. I feel like they took advantage of me because of my age. Now I'm out of money and without a car.

Mtn. View @ 153 I bought a 2014 Ford Explorer Limited from their used lot on 153

I bought a 2014 Ford Explorer Limited from their used lot on 153. I knew it was used and would have some wear and tear. However, when I got it, the backup camera wasn't working. The salesman, Bailey, and the sales manager, Brandon, promised to fix it and make things right. I waited for over a week, going back and forth with Bailey to schedule an appointment at *** service center. Finally, we set it up and Bailey said they would cover the rental car at their cost.

I went for the appointment, but they didn't have it scheduled! They also told me that the lot wouldn't pay for the rental. They said "their cost" meant I had to pay the price they pay for rental, but they didn't tell me how much that was. I left my vehicle to be fixed, but after two days, they hadn't even looked at it. I ended up paying $90 out of my own pocket for two days of rental for no reason.

Finally, the sales manager, Sean M, got me in and had it looked at. They ordered a part to fix it. However, Sean M informed me that they couldn't do anything about the $90 I paid for the rental car.

Mtn. View @ 153 On June 16th, I traded my 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ for a 2014 Model S Tesla at Mtn

On June 16th, I traded my 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ for a 2014 Model S Tesla at Mtn. View @ 153, LLC. While heading to the dealership, my wife noticed water damage in the listing photos. So, when I arrived, I asked the sales rep, Bailey, if it had been fixed. She assured me that it had, and said she would have their service people check the seal as well. They also confirmed that the seal had been fixed. Trusting their words, I signed the papers without any issues.

However, the very next day, it rained and I discovered that everything on the driver side ceiling was soaked. I immediately contacted the dealership's GM, Brandon, who promised to discuss the matter with "The powers that be." Unfortunately, I didn't hear back from him for two weeks. Frustrated, I decided to reach out to another sales manager, Kyle, who informed me that since there was no documentation of the issue on their end, they couldn't take any action. The lack of documentation is solely because they lied to me; otherwise, I would never have signed for a car with such a problem.

Mtn. View @ 153 I bought a 2020 Ford Edge SEL, AWD from Mtn View 153 on May 13th

I bought a 2020 Ford Edge SEL, AWD from Mtn View 153 on May 13th. It cost me $35,748.12. Carfax showed that there were 2 previous maintenance actions. These were problems with the all-wheel drive, and they replaced the axle. I'm not sure who owned the car before me because the records show work done in another place, then Mtn View, and then back to the other place. My problem is that there was an unreported accident. Maybe about a week after I bought the car, it suddenly jerked while I was driving. I thought it might be because of bad gas, but the issue happened again. I called Mtn View and they said they could take a look at it, but it would take 2 months. Even though the car was still under warranty and they hadn't discovered the accident yet. Then on June 23rd, the car became undriveable. I had an appointment with *** Ford for service on July 1st, but I had to get the car towed on the 23rd. They found out that there was a crushed module at the bottom of the car. Someone had "fixed" the wiring underneath, and if you look at the rear driver panel from a certain angle, you can see that it's not original and has creases in it. Mtn View told me they did an inspection before selling the car and found no defects. Either they didn't do any inspection at all or they did and covered up the problems. According to *** Ford, this damage is not covered by the warranty. I want Mtn View to take responsibility and pay for the repairs for the issues they said weren't there.

Mtn. View @ 153 I traded in my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 on January 17, 2022, for a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 BigHorn luxury

I traded in my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 on January 17, 2022, for a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 BigHorn luxury. I didn't pick up this vehicle for 'bout 3 days after I bought it and got my temp tags and keys. It's been 'bout three months now, and I still ain't got my tag paperwork. I done called 'em several times tryin' to find out what's goin' on, and finally on 4/20 2022, they explained the situation. They said there was some kinda lien on the title, and they already paid the money to get the title, but the bank ain't givin' it to 'em for some unknown reason, supposedly. The truck was traded to 'em, so that tells me they never had the title when they sold it. They ain't given me no clear answer on how they gonna fix this, and besides the legal mess, dealin' with this has caused me a lot of stress and mental pain. They told me to wait another 2 weeks, but also said, "if we don't contact ya, we ain't got no update." I wanna get a refund or trade this vehicle for one they actually got the title for. I'm also filin' complaints with the AG and the Tennessee Department of Motor Vehicle Commission. I hope they can fix this right.

Mtn. View @ 153 The service department told me that they check all fluid levels during oil changes, but that ain't true

The service department told me that they check all fluid levels during oil changes, but that ain't true. I've been bringing my car here for over 3 years, and they always said they would check all my fluids, including the transmission fluid. But guess what? I just had to shell out $5,700 to fix my car because the transmission fluid was low. The transmission specialist even said that the seal was never broken to check or fill the transmission oil. And get this, the folks at the service center admitted on 5/19 that they don't even have the machine to check the fluid levels. Can you believe it? They've been telling us they check everything, but they don't even have the right equipment. When I finally got a hold of someone after waiting for 2 days, they had the nerve to tell me that it's my responsibility to take care of my car. Well, that's exactly what I thought I was doing by bringing it in for oil changes. Then, the service manager called me on 5/19 and straight up said he ain't paying for my transmission. He said they only check what they "can" check and hung up on me. Now, I'm still waiting for the GM to call me back and tell me what they're gonna do about their fraud, negligence, and deception that cost me $5,700 in repairs. It's been 3 days and still no call. Can you believe the nerve of these people?

Mtn. View @ 153 In August 2022, I bought a car from Mountain View 153

In August 2022, I bought a car from Mountain View 153. They offered me an "optional" warranty coverage, and I agreed to it. When I received the warranty paperwork along with my financing documents, I had some doubts and asked about it. They assured me that it was optional and could be canceled whenever I wanted. I had already been at the dealership for more than 2 hours, feeling tired and hungry, so I went ahead and signed the paperwork.

Later that week, I changed my mind about the warranty, thinking it was too expensive. I called them to cancel it, but they told me I had to come back to the dealership to sign some additional paperwork. They said it had to be done between 8 AM and 5 PM, and a person named Shawn E had to handle it. Unfortunately, I couldn't take time off work during those hours. I kept calling them, pleading for assistance over the phone, but they insisted I had to come in person. Time passed, and I made at least 2 payments without any progress on canceling the warranty.

I called them again, and this time they told me I didn't need to see anyone special and could come in whenever they were open, even on Saturdays and after 5 PM. It took months to get this different answer. So, I went to the dealership and completed the required paperwork. They informed me that it would take 6-8 weeks to process the cancellation. Since then, I've left 10 messages for Shawn E, but he hasn't returned any of my calls. However, if I call from a different phone, he miraculously picks up. The first time I reached him, he said it had only been about 8 weeks, and they needed more time. In January, they told me they do checks on the 10th and would text me, but I never received any text. When I called again, they said they had switched to a new warranty company.

I canceled the warranty on 11/18, following the required paperwork, but I'm still waiting for them to process the cancellation and send it to the loan company. It has been 11 weeks, and they still haven't provided any answers.

Mtn. View @ 153 I bought a car from MTN View @153 and it had some problems that I think the dealer knew about but didn't tell me

I bought a car from MTN View @153 and it had some problems that I think the dealer knew about but didn't tell me. I bought a 2005 BMW 325i from them on August 3. The check engine light came on during the test drive. The dealership tried to reset the light and said it was because of "bad gas". But then on the drive home to , the engine light and low coolant light came on again. I took the car back to the dealer to get it fixed after having it checked by . They said the coolant system, fuel system, and brakes needed to be fixed. The dealership called and said they fixed the brakes and tested the fuel and coolant system with no problems. I went back to Chattanooga to pick up the car and drove home, but then the coolant light came on again. In late August, I took it to a German car specialist in *** who said the fuel system needed new hoses and the coolant system needed a new reservoir tank. I told the dealer about this and they gave me a check for $1000 to help with the $3000 repair bill. I had to keep taking the car to the repair shop () for two weeks. Most recently, on October 29, the car overheated and I took it back to *** to find out what was wrong. They said the head gasket had failed. In the end, we think the dealership knew there was a problem with the car before they sold it to me. They only put new brakes on it to make me happy instead of actually finding and fixing the real issues with the car. I've been talking to the dealership to try to get them to pay for the repairs, do the repairs at their dealership and have an independent garage check it to make sure it's fixed properly, or take the car back and give me a full refund. But they haven't been helpful. I know it's a used car and I don't expect it to be perfect, just safe to drive. The dealership didn't do any research when they took it as a trade-in or didn't spend enough time to find and fix the existing problems.

Mtn. View @ 153 I bought a car from this dealership on September 7th, 2022

I bought a car from this dealership on September 7th, 2022. After I signed all the paperwork, they told me I couldn't have the car that day because it hadn't been serviced or cleaned. Now, mind you, this car was listed for sale on their website, and they knew I was coming to see it the day before. I was disappointed. I think they should have told me about this before we started with all the paperwork. They gave me a loaner car that was big enough for my family, which was nice. They said it would take 2-3 days at most to pick up the car I bought. 7 days went by and we didn't hear anything from the dealership. I had to call them after the fifth day to find out what was going on. Every time I called or messaged, they brushed me off. My husband called and insisted that it had been a week already, which was long enough, and we were coming to get our car. They said they would rush the cleaning because it hadn't even been done yet. Anyway, I got a notification on the evening of the 13th that it was ready to pick up. The car was really dirty. They gave us the wrong paperwork and drive-out tag. My husband noticed and called them. They wanted us to come back and switch the paperwork. We live more than 30 minutes away. We finally got the correct paperwork on the 17th. On the 19th, the air conditioning and defrost stopped working. I called to ask where to take it to get it fixed, but they didn't give me a clear answer. My husband called the manager today, and they told us to take it anywhere to get it fixed. We have to pay for a rental car ourselves and they'll reimburse us at some point. It's been one problem after another since I signed the paperwork for this car. They were so nice and eager to help before they made the sale, but as soon as I signed the papers, they didn't care about me as a customer anymore. Very unprofessional.
