I bought a nokia n-73 from bhopal retail shop at oct 2006. I got problem in my joystick. I visit nokia care bhopal, india for repairing it. And there I got a customer representative mr. Bhaskar who told me ur mobile has void the warranty and we will repair it as a non-warranty set and for that u have to pay the charge. I paid them rs128.00. And after few days I got call from nokia care that they are going to repair my handset under warranty but they cant refund the charge. I was agree after 7 days I got again call from nokia care and they told nokia care bhopal is not able to repair my handset and they are supposing to send it delhi for further repairing and it will take 30 days aprox to get back. My login date for n-73 at bhopal nokia care was 10/11/2006 (1o the nov. 2006). And I was agree for that.
After one month when I visit nokia care at date of 18th dec 2006. Center manager mr. Deep chand misra told me that they will have my handset by 2nd of jan till 18th of dec they dont have any update for the query. I was surprised but when he told me I will have my mobile by 2nd of jan I bit relax and when I called 2 nd of jan they told me u have to wait again 10-25 days. I was annoyed and called bangalore nokia care and launched a new complaint and I got update that nokia is going to swapped my handset and giving me new mobile for that and they given me date 14th jan 2007 and they committed that I will have my handset by 15th of jan, again I bit relaxed but now I think nokia is playing with my idleness. They told me today that I have to wait again 10 days more and I will have my mobile back by 27th jan and I am very much sure on that date they will give me other date.
My question is from bod that if nokia cant give support on high cost mobile then why u are making it. I am waiting for my 23500 rs mobile for almost three month and I m very much frustrated. I need your reply before I take any legal action against my handset and nokia care. I personally feel that nokia care is a worst place to repair your handset.
Specially the people u hired for maintaining is unprofessional and cant satisfy customer. Please stop making fool to people. I will not recommend any one to purchase nokia mobile in future as I am using sony for now... They have better service and engineer to help customer.
poor after sales service
I bought a nokia 5300 in dec'06 and within 2 weeks the handset developed audio problem. The battery backup was also not good. A fully charged battery halved over a talk time of total 30-45 mins.
I approached nokia care at Dwarka. They logged my complaint, but asked me to submit the handset for 2 days without giving me a standby handset. I couldn't to have afforded without a phone for 2 days.
I approached the headoffice of Nokia care, who said that providing a handset was the sole discretion of the nokia care franchisee and asked me to instead call their helpdesk at [protected].
This was again a disappointing experience. The agent, Hari, reiterated that providing a handset was the sole discretion of the nokia care franchisee. When asked for an email address for submitting complaint/ grievance, I was refused any address stating that theyu do not have any such address and I, the customer, should log into their porta' 'nokia.com". When I insisted to speak to his manager, he refused to pass on the line to his manager. When I asked him his full name, he even refused to give his full name, stating that he was not authorized to do so.
I do not have a great feeling that when i buy a nokia, i should also keep a spare handset, with the assumption that the handset will develop problems and i will need to submit it for repair without being provided any spare handset. When the handset has developed some problem, it should be the onus of nokia to ensure that till the time the handset is repaired, customer has a spare handset to use.
I do not feel that this is fair trade.

i bought nokia 5610 last month[may'09] the shift screen option of my phone got dislocated. i went to dwarka care center for its repair. they told me to collect it within two days, i went after 5 days [i was out of town] still they did not repair it and told me we would call u once we fix it.After waiting for a week i went again and got the same response. After a lot of arguments i got back my cell at the end of the month.

it dint end there.they fixed the button so tightly, that with one shift the whole button was into pieces ...well are we really suppose to trust the quality of nokia care?
more over when i went back to them they argued saying its a damage that i have caused .well it was so...i wana know why did i have the same problem with the same button, why dint any other part of cell broke! What really shocked that Mr kamal knew i hada point and i was right, still he came up with excuses like, you must have dropped the phone, or maby u slipped it into your pocket without taking care...well well...
its quite upseting that we have to meet such corrupt people who know that they wrong and donot wanna accept it and rectify their mistakes...

I use nokia n 73 my phone is in warranty period. I repaired my phone 5 times but my problem is not solved.
I am greatly disappointed with Nokia Service in Singapore also. They have got only one tel for the customer which is the customer care line.
My story is like this :
I purchased Nokia 6233 in early Feb07. The phone audio was not working in mid Feb07. I sent the phone for repair, it took a week. Now in early Apr07, the same problem came back. I called the customer care line, it took 5 days already they still have not repaired the phone due to NO PARTS AVAILABLE. So I asked them to skip to other plan like replacing me a new one & they told me they cannot as their company has no such policy. I am utterly very frustrated with Nokia service, they can keep the customer waiting without any solution. And they don't loan or refund the customer when the customer requested for it.
I strongly agree that you need to have a space phone & forget about the promises from Nokia service if you still want to use Nokia phone.
Nokia do not have a fair trade.

Very Bad Product and third class service. Nokia don't care about our product. There is no care at Nokia customer care. They don't give Handset replacement. My N70 mobile under warranty period. SUB: Extremely poor service rendered by NOKIA CARE service centre. Essel centre, M.G. Road, Kodialbail, opp. Ebrose complex, Mangalore – regarding.
After a prolonged annoying experience for a period of over a year with NOKIA care, this unpleasant communication has become necessary.
Problem details:

October 2008 - Auto switch off of the unit during warranty period.
December 2008 - After continuous follow up from COSTUMER END that set was replaced by a “new” set, with a delivery challan & no related documents given.
May 2009 - The 2nd “new” set display problem.
June 2009 - Display problem continued, given at “NOKIA CARE” returned after 15 days after repair.
18th August 2009 - Full display off.
Till date 18/09/2009, It is nearing one month now the continuous follow up again from the CUSTOMER END continues. The online status of Job Sheet as on 12/08/2009 at 7:00pm displayed unrepaired – closed. However over phone at NOKIA care at 6:30pm on 12/08/2009 the personnel mentioned that the cell phone will be returned by next week.
So as an utterly annoyed customer I raise the following queries to NOKIA care to at least ‘care’ enough towards customers to answer these queries –
1. 2 cell phones 6233 model conk off in a period of 2years. The original brought at Rs 7900/-. How reasonable is this?
2. Are the cell phones replaced within the warranty period genuine?
3. Is this the value for customer trust, money & time that NOKIA care has?
4. If “NOKIA care” expects customers to continuously beg & plead & follow up Job sheets kindly rename as “NOKIA don’t care”. Please do not mislead honest customers.

i bought Nokia N95 six months back for Rs.20000 and after only a month i got a problem with it.The phone automatically restarts for which i brought the phone to the nearest modcad centre in Faridabad(A-21, Nehru Ground, N.I.T., Faridabad 121001, Haryana).They said your phone will be okay but you will have to leave it for some days.I said, fine.After few days when i received the phone, i think it wasn't repaired correctly, because the problem continued.i again reached NOKIA service center, this time they said that they will send the phone to the company(Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi) to rectify the problem and after 25 days i got my phone back, but the same problem still continued and again third time i gave the phone and received it without any solution.And now 4 days back, for the fourth time, I gave the phone to the service centre with a hope that they will solve the problem or hopefully give me a new phone as it was in the quarantee period.My phone IMEI NO. is [protected].

3 months ago I bought the phone Nokia 7610 Supernova. In 3 months the phone is gone 4 times to service . These services originate from the same error the other one is just for the phone's screen ıs scratched during service . The phone is currently in service and I was requested changes. Nokia service which has done installation says the phone is right now but meanwhile they say that the phone should stay there to understand the problem of it. Just want to inform the quality of Nokia E-90 casing, the satin paint on the cover softens and peels.
I have bought new casing as claim was not accepted (not include in warranty)

I, Bhavna Khullar purchased a Nokia E63, IMEI – [protected] for Amount Rs 12, 400 from Nokia Priority Dealer, Comp-Mart India Pvt Ltd, SG-09/12, Galleria, DLF Phase –IV, Gurgaon-122002, Ph #[protected], 4055800 with the Invoice No. : INV/SG-09/5291/08-09 Suppliers Ref: 5291 dated 5-Mar-2009.
I was attended by the Sales person Mr. Ritesh for buying the cell. After a day of the purchase, I noticed that the speakers of the phone gave a very breaking & a screeching noise. It was awfully creaking to listen to The Radio, Music Player, putting the phone on loudspeakers or even when the phone bell rang for any incoming call. I would have come immediately to the dealer but the very next day of buying the cell I was out of town for the Holi Holidays and was back on 13th March’09 only. Immediately after I was back, I got in touch with the Priority Dealer. Mr. Ritesh and Mr. Pradipta Acharya, Retail Store Manager, told me two things:
1. They admit that there is a fault in the speakers of the phone. They would have replaced it had I come in the two days of the purchase.
2. For the replacement of the phone, the talk time shouldn’t exceed more than 4 hours.
Since I have crossed both the conditions, they aren’t liable for replacement. Now, first thing is that I as a consumer wasn’t told about the two conditions at the time of the purchase by either of the store people. Had I known this, wouldn’t I have come the very next day for the replacement?
Second is that I as a consumer will definitely not bear the brunt for the inadequate information to the consumer at the time of purchase and the inability to present the replacement policy to the consumer, when I have spend good 12, 400 on a brand new handset.
On the advice of the store people, that it will be repaired, I went to the Nokia Care, Sheetla Communications, The Trouble Shooter GSM & CDMA, Shop No B-249, DLF Super Mart 1, DLF Phase 4, Gurgaon – 122001, India, Ph: 0124 – 321221, 4037100. I was attended by a person called Mr. Wasim. They identified a hardware fault in the phone with the defected Ringer Connector. According to them, the phone will go to the IMC and will take minimum 10 days for the repair and confirmed that it is a manufacturing defect.
Now, I and my family have been Nokia users for many years. Such kind of an incident has really put me off the brand. When the entire chain has admitted that there is a manufacturing defected, I definitely seek the replacement of the phone ASAP. The past 4 days have cost me of my time, energy and mental harassment. I am willing to take up the matter to the highest levels of Nokia if the matter is not resolved within the next 2 working days and the request for the replacement of the phone is not adhered to.

I have purchased nokia 6131 on mid of November 2006 from my first salary. And in the second day it has the dark linings on the display.I had given to service centre in bangalore.They repaired it in 2 days but its speaker was mute.
Now again in 2 days from the repair it started that dark linings in display and speaker off. we had to submit it to Bhopal Nokia Service Centre.It has been more than 5 weeks and they are telling they dont have the materials.

I have purchased one nokia handset from nokia priority dealer (punjabi bagh, new delhi) in the month of november 2006, model: n72 black color after couple of days my handset started giving me problems like whenever I talk to someone voice brakes or sometimes I couldn't hear other party or they can't hear my voice I did visit nokia service centre in naraina. after dialing some numbers and checking my phone they mentioned there is no problem now till today my complaint has not been resolved and my handset is not working properly it has same voice issues.
Now after spending such an heavy amount this is what I am getting and on top of it, it's so inconvinient to visit nokia dealers and leaving my phone with them every time.
I don't have an extra handset how would I work if I give my handset to them for repairing and why would I get this machine repaired if it has a problem.

I am using your platform to put my concern after getting shocked treatment from three nokia care centers india esp. nokia care jayanagar,Bangalore i am forced to write this complaint.
I have nokia customer from 2002, and very much happy with nokia products and even recommend other to go for only nokia phone, but my perception is totally changed now, I have purchased new nokia 3250 on 2 sep 2006. After 1 months i faced problem that my phone is not getting charge, i have shown that phone to local nokia care, they have tried their best and told me gently that because of unavailability of spares they can't repair this.
after that i have contacted nokia bangalore, they took two days and even after my mobile is not working and they insist that i will go to headoffice of nokia and get my mobile repair from there only as it's manufacturing defect and behave very arrogantly, even he refused to give customer reciept by giving excuse that sir we are not allowed to give Receipt, only after heated arugument he has given delivery note, which doesn't contain any IMEI, my job sheet is JS [protected]/061027/19.

I had purchased a n72, dated 24/10/06 from telephone shoppee, pune. At present i am in bangalore, the phone is not getting charged. On checking the charger thru a multimeter its giving the necessary output... Also had given it at the nokia priority centre at koramangala, bangalore, where they checked it and said that there's no problem in the charger n the battery... He says that water is there in it... But i know that the charging point is not functional... On asking to check that he says it his job of what is to be done, he was also not ready to give a photograph showing water in the mobile...
The problem started on sunday... I had kept it on charging as only 3 bars were indicating. It charged up till the 6th baar, but didn't move further till the final bar... I assumed that the charger was not functional.. I used the mobile till monday morning. My brother is an electronics engg, working in r&d, so on checking thru the multimeter , one came to know that the charger was working. N yesterday, the service centre confirmed about the same and also said that the battery is ok. But he saying that the phone is faulty and that water is there in it is totally baseless nad it is just a way of making money by fooling customers as the mobile is in warranty. I had taken the mobile bcos it was a nokia and a the brand was enough, but if this is the situation regarding the service and the treatment given by the people at the service centre is pathetic, no co-operation. We r the customers not slaves or dependent on nokia for everything, sorry to say that but that was the treatment given.
This has definitely put a negative impact on my thinking towards nokia mobiles. I can prove that the mobile is functional, but i dont know whether i can do that. I am sure that if i put another n72 battery, it will work. I m damn sure about it, but i dont know whether it is allowed.
I bought a nokia N72 mobile on 20-01-2007 and i found on the same day the phone had a manufacturing defect, there are 4 different problems, even after complaining to the service center there is no proper response. Didn't expect this kind of service from nokia.
In general i am just disgusted on the quality of some of the new phones that they have released. Take the N73 for example, all it ever does is crash, it takes about a minute to open any application or programme. I'm struggling to complain direct to nokia as there isn't a complaints website.

this is Ram Mohan got fet up with the above product and with the customer care centre of Visakhapatnam-AP and also with the company's field force irresponsible behaviour against clients complaint. I handed over my mobile on 19-10-2006,job sheet no.2452, bearing with IMEI NO.[protected].
Since last two months i have been struggling a lot to get my handset back but till now nobody is bothered about the clients complaint. Every time I used to contact their Bangalore office by STD which costed more than my handset cost. And their customer care centre people are very arrogant and they do not know how to behave with the clients. It is very surprise that being an MNC how they chosen the customer care centre people who doesnt know how to behave with the people at Visakhapatnam which is a highly profile area. It is riduculous that being an MNC why they r not bothering about the customer's satisfaction particularly after consumer's post purchase behaviour. I feel that with a brand image it will go despite of customer's satisfaction, but how long will it be possible in this global competitive environment.
I am extremely sorry to exhibit this kind of heartfeelings against a Multi National Company which should not be , but there is no alternative for me.

With regards, I purchased a n-70 mobile phone from m/s subhiksha trading services ltd dt.[protected] invoice no - 75054 name of m/s triveni tradelinks pvt ltd. but its software got corrupt (blank display) with in 10 days of purchase. then I approached to your customer centre m/s goel trading co. (delhi) they give me target delivery date on 16th nov06 but till the date we get anything instead of harassment. but after we received a number of nokia service from m/s goel trading co. ([protected]) we called many a times on this number but always received improper response from mr yashwant.
Even he denied to give us e-mail for complained and fax no after asking again and again, when I asked him that I will go to the court for this harassment then he replied you do what ever you can.
If I ill not get new phone or the above said amount then I fell company is not serious for customer and customer should move to the court (consumer court).

I purchased this N-70 Mobile on 29/07/2006 from a shop in Pune. I got transferred to Hyderabad after that. My Mobile stopped working from 29/08/07 due to network problem wherein the network signal was not appearing on the mobile. Just to make sure that It was not a problem with the Network provider (Airtel)., I used the chip in another mobile and it was working perfectly. So I went to Nokia Care Center located at punjagutta-hyderabad on 30/08/07 for the purpose of repairs.They sent the mobile to their service unit in chandigarh.Now , today ie :Sep18th, 2007, when I checked on their website I came to know that my mobile cannot be repaired.
I have spent Rs.18350/- for this set , and am shocked to hear that it cannot be repaired. I have used this mobile for just over one year which I think is a very short period for a expensive mobile to get spoiled... I have taken utmost care while handling the set since it was very expensive and that its my hard earned money which has gone into buying this set.
I had purchased N-70 in Apr 06. Given set to Nokia Care in Gurgaon for repair in May 06. Since then the set is frequently given to NOKIA CARE at Kolkata, Siliguri and now at Bhubanewar.
Set is still under warranty .
Costly set with unsatisfactory service.

Purchased nokia cell phone on january-30, 2006 from poorna tele plaza, nellore model of the cell phone is nokia - 1600, imei: 0525146
I am using the cell phone with lot of care but within 10 month my above mentioned cell phone started loosing its colour display and when I connected nokia care, 27/11/06 the executive on duty refused to provide me any kind of service and a person presented himself head of the center was sitting inside the office they are saying for rectification it will take one month when I asked for my legal right.
Kindly do the needful and get my cell display and mic replaced with immediate effect and its important to mention here that I cant leave my cell phone for long time in the service center as i, m a lawyer and I do lot of my work on cell phone and take legal action against your company.

The Nokia handset within 3 months (i.e. warranty period) started giving problems and malfunctioning. The “main display unit” does not get switched on when the flip is opened. Therefore I am unable to navigate to any functions of the Nokia mobile.

3(a). The subject handset was taken to Nokia Care Corporate Office in OKHLA on 11th September 2006 shown to them and the problem was thoroughly explained that the main display was blank. On 11th September 2006 the handset was given for its 1st repair to Nokia Care Corporate Office at OKHLA. On 19th September 2006 evening the handset was collected from Nokia Care Corporate Office at OKHLA stating that that the problem was rectified.
3(b). On the same day the Nokia handset started malfunctioning after 4 hours. The set was again taken to Nokia Care Corporate Office at OKHLA on 22nd September 2006 for its 2nd repair. The job sheet number : DL0114272.
3(c). As the parts were not available for a long time hence the handset was collected on 24th October 2006 after a lapse of 33 days stating that the problem has been rectified. But again the mobile malfunctioned for the 3rd time.
In this way Nokia dealer/company failed to provide me after sales services.
It is intimated that the Nokia handset was used as per instruction manual supplied.
4. The handset cannot be used at all in the absence of the display for which Rs.13,300/- has been paid. If the set is not replaced within 10 days I will have to approach consumer court for seeking justice.
I should also be compensated for the “non-utilization” of the handset since its malfunctioning and for the cost of transportation incurred for handing over and retrieving the handset.
The handset could not be utilized for the features for which it was purchased.
I have exhausted all my resources, even taking the handset to dealer, Nokia Care Dwarka and to Nokia’s biggest Care Center of Delhi i.e. Nokia Care Corporate Office at OKHLA, New Delhi.
I bought Nokia 6131 in of 08/07/06 in Nokia priority dealer in Hyderabad. I bought it for the amount of Rs.12,395/-. In that phone some problems (camera clarity, phone was restated at the time of talking) I faced one month after that I given to NOKIA Service centre (Infinet ltd, hyderabad). They are replaced my phone, that time also camera clarity was not good. From last two months same problem is coming in this phone also (phone restart) coming that's why i given once again to NOKIA Service centre on april (HCL Infinet ltd). Still i am not get any solution. It's a very bad phone.
Since last two months I am having problem with my set 6131. I sent it twice to the east patelnagar HCL center, but to of no use. They kept it with them for two months and returned it without repairing. I am in real trouble without the mobile!
People beware!
Normally all mobile compnies are here to sell their products then they left the consumer on the mercy of dealers and the response of the company in such cases are irrresponisive.
If such is the case then i think consumer has to only buy cheap and best mobile who they can throw incase of any probs. Bcoz in any case there in no one in India who can monitor such cases.
And again how many of us have the time to follow long routes to go to courts and other things. Either system should be so strong that such cases will be taken up soon for hearing and such companies who are haressing their customer will be penalized heavely.

totally agree... my nokia 6131 failed to provide the service stated and wouldn't connect me to my service provider, it was sent away to the nokia service centre and they stated the phone had been wet and as the phone was brand new and hardly used due to no coverage at home it was only used a few times when away from home and had not been anywhere near water, but that was the end of that as far as nokia were concerned

My son had purchased the Nokia Model 6085 from your authorised retail outlet Hello World (dt 18th August 2007) This unit failed to work just after less than 3 months from the date of purchase and was given for repair to the authorsed service agent Radiant telecom Ref: IMA # [protected]).
Even after 45 days this could not be fixed nor was a replacement made.
Many representation to the Nokia's regional Manger in Chennai was even more disappointing.. ( he never once called back )
We would have to take this to the consumer court for redressel.

careless and unprofessional work
I have given my Nokia 6270 which is in warranty till Jan 2007 to Nokia Care Centre Sec-2 Noida on 13th November to repair its internal right side speakers and some keypad problem with a commitment that set will be repaired on Friday (17th November). I was checking regularly the status of my handset through there SMS facility. Finally on Wednesday (22nd November) I have received the SMS that your handset has been repaired kindly collect it from Nokia centre. I rushed to Nokia Care to collect my handset and they have given my handset back saying it’s repaired but when I checked, keypad works fine but speakers still not working. It seems that either they didn’t touch them or either they forgot that what part they have to repair because of their careless behavior or what…. I told them boss its not fixed. The person said, We don’t know anything...come tomorrow...
What they think.. for a small repair… I have to go again with whole process...should I again wait for a long queue and get the new Jobsheet and more 1 week to wait... and what’s the guarantee that it will be repaired this time...
Its really frustrated...I am working for HCL. If they can show this kind of careless and unprofessional behavior with an HCL employee, I don’t know what will be condition of other non HCL Customers...
I am damn sure either they will not repair my handset until its in warranty or either they will say that we found the Water leakage in your handset.

I again went 2 service center on march 16th, I asked them that why they have send the letter, I have not take this phone, I want my cell back, then rahul, indu and all remaining employees over there stood up n start fighting with me, rahul start abusing me.
I came back and decided 2 register a complaint against them then a friend of mine told me first 2 let u about this problem, u would definitely sort out the problem, so I decided to do so that have ii write 2 u... 2 help me out or I have 2 take them 2 court...

I stay in blore and I have this Nokia 3230 and am not at all happy with the build quality. Almost a yr and the OS keeps on crashing frequently. The battery drains horribly, and i dont have the mobile panel easily available?
FYI, there is a nokia shop in RT Nagar area of bangalore which is supposed to be a nokia priority dealer. He sells all mobile phone at a very high margin and not only that, i had inquired for this nokia 3230 panel(the body) and he quoted it to 1700 rs. Thats awkwardly high. Even the original accessory costs me around 800-900. This guy is a crook.
I have been using a nokia 3230 handset since 8th aug. I once went to customer care center in noida sector-2 to get my cell repaired. There was some minor problem with my handset. But when i received it back, i found out that it had a part not working. I went back to then to make a complaint, and they told me they were sorry for that and would repair it within 1 hr. So they kept me waiting for 1 hr and when i approached to their desk for receiving the cell then they told me that the part is to be replaced with another one which they don't have right now and will arrive tomorrow. So i came next day, and asked for my cell, but again they made an excuse and started making me wait and when after 15 days i didn't get my cell back then i demanded for a replacement. But i didn't get it at once. And for more 2 to 3 days i went there continuously and after so many efforts they game me a replacement for my cell but they did not update it on the internet but they did so on my bill with a stamp of nokia care. the replacement which they gave to me was a 3 month older cell than what i purchased. But when i went to them for the next time to get my cell repaired, they told me that they didn't made any replacement considered to that imei no. And when i showed them the bill with a replacement proof on it, they denied it. I told them that it had a stamp of nokia on it, so then they decided to make a manual jobsheet of my cell. Since then my cell is never repaired completely an every time i make complaints about my cell's problem they never rectify those problems. I have got my cell's amc done and went there once since then but then too they didn't rectify my problem. From then i have left the hope and i m using that cell with all those problems and i got use to it. But till yesterday i tried to connect it to internet and i got freaked out facing so many problem and so i decided to complaint. My cell is not registered at internet that it had an amc done but i have full proof of it. What can i do at this moment. Please help me out smb!
I want to bring this to your notice that I may be one of the many customers I guess who is not happy with the services provided at nokia care centers. I am having nokia 3230 and the problem is with the display, though the system is under the warranty but still nokia care people are not repairing the set, what to talk about replacing a part. Instead they have now cited a reason that it is physically damaged which actually it is not.
It all started on 26 th feb 07 all of a sudden the screen started flickering and loosing the colours, not able to comprehend what happened I went to nokia care sector 35 Chandigarh, they kept experimenting it and finally asked me to show it in sector 22 chandigarh and they confirmed it is not damaged anywhere but they don’t have the means to repair it I have to go to sector 22. I handed over the set to sector-22 nokia care on 29th and I went today to get the cell back, they said it not repairable and stated it will cost Approx Rs 3000/- . I reasoned with them about the warranty they said it is physically damaged , and on the jobsheet it is mentioned it is physically damaged estimated cost Rs 3000/- on asking what part is damaged and what replacement will be costing this money and why is not mentioned on the jobsheet what part has to be replaced and what part is costing me this money they didn’t had an answer to it. They called their engineer and the set was opened up in front of me and the engineer confirmed to me nothing is damaged then I asked why am I being asked to pay Rs 3000/- for nothing being damaged and instead of the cell being inside the warranty.
The engineer called somebody over the phone and came to me that the upper part of the body is damaged which is not. Then another engineer came and started interrogating the outer body of the cell and pointed to a small scar on the so called C cover and said this is physically damaged which seemed to me was because of the normal wear and tear and not any damage. I was forwarded to Ms Renu the central manager who was so adamant and not ready to listen to me, and stated will not be repaired. Then I reasoned that OK let us consider it has gone outside the warranty and you will charge me but then customer should have the right of what he wants a repair and for what he does not. I said if you think it is damaged from outside and inside both and is not covered under the warranty , then I only want the cell to be repaired from inside that is the display and not outside (cover) and I am ready to pay for it. But she said we will not repair from inside alone you have to get it repaired from outside as well, although she confessed that the ostensible damage outside has got nothing to do with the problem inside. Inspite of my being ready to pay for the display problem they want me to pay a bigger amount for the problem which is not there.
I am having the bills and gone through the warranty as well, I want a solution as I had spend a good over 10,000/- on this cell and is well under the warranty. I think nokia here is not doing anything else but fleecing the customer. If no action is being taken even after this mail I ll prefer to send a Plea to (TRAI) or consumer court. I am sending along the scanned copy of the job sheet.
My mobile is stolen on 1st December 2017 at Bidhannagor station in West Bengal. The IMEI number is [protected]. Some personal and official data and Picture was stored on my memory card, these documents are very sensitive for me. If you block my memory card then it is really very help full for me. Hello, I am Masoud Khan from Sharjah UAE . II've always owned a Nokia phone and never had any problems with them untill i bought Nokia 3230 from here in Sharjah. But after using for 3 months there was some problem with the button # 9 it was not working, i went to the shop from where i purchased and returned the mobile to him, on 5th of Sept '06. He took the mobile and told me that this mobile is in waranty period u will get repaired. Then after calling him for no of times regarding my mobile he finally gave me the no of the Waranty company office, i.e, AMT international company which is one of the Authorised service dealers in UAE.
Then again after about 10 days i got my mobile back that is on 14th of September 2006. But now with a different problem now the problem was the button # 3 it was automatically pressing.because of this i was not able to use phone at all and moreover the battery life of my mobile was decreasing because of this. Then again i went back to the shop on dated 16th Sept and said it has some problem again then he took it and said it will be returned to you soon. Then after following with this for a couple of days again i got the mobile back on 20th of September 2006. But to my astonishment the same problem had started again that the button # 3 was automatically pressing. Then again i called to this mobile waranty compay they said they will check and get back to me.i asked the company to replace it but to my bad luck they said now this is the last time u get repaird then incase any thing happens again. We will replace for you with a new mobile.The mobile was given by me to the company was on 21st sept 06 then again the same old thing to follow up with the company , then again after a long gap of time i received my mobile on 25th of September 06.
But now after a gap of almost a month now again i am facing a problem of with my mobile that is while using my mobile it is automatically getting switched off and moreover sometimes suddenly the screen gets blank that is i cannot see anything who is calling and also i cannot call them. Then again when i reported my problem to the Authorised company which covers the warranty now they are saying they can't replace it just they will repair it. Because they don't deal with used phones.
This is utter rubbish - I have submitted the phone to AUTHORISED NOKIA CARE on Four occasions. Nokia is shrinking responsibility of its own product and service - this is PATHETIC.
A company like NOKIA is behaving in such a disgusting manner - its shocking.
I am extremely disappointed with NOKIA as a company and in future will not be buying any NOKIA products nor will I be recommending it to anyone.

My name is sunil sharma, I have bought the new N-70 & in 5 months it creating problem of hanging & calls dropping etc. I have taken it to the green park nokia care center. They have told me that in few days it will deliver to your place. But on expected date I have call them then they say that it will deliver at evening. This story continues day by day. Then 1 day I visit there then they say that this handset is on replacement. Call on tuesday. When I went on friday then they say that it has not been come from the company. I bought a Nokia 6260 after confirming from them that it has a fax modem. My woes started from there. Nokia'a suggestions ranged from the problem with ur service provider to problem with your IBM laptop (it may not be IBM compatible !) Finally when I threatened them with legal action came out the truth that I have to buy a thridparty software only then it will start functioning. A POINT TO PONDER FOR ALL NOKIA CUSTOMERS: Is there any contact detail/ address on the original packing of Nokia mobile phones. Who made it:Nokia, where:NOBODY KNOWS. After wasting full 8 months of the warranty period and tel . calls worth 2000 Rs. I then contacted Motorola. Not only the people there were more courteous but updated on information as well. I settled down on v3i a much cheaper in terms of cost and much higher in terms of performance. Best part which I found with the motorola phone is the peace of mind which I got at no extra cost.

I, Sandeep Rathore completely harassed customer of Nokia.I bought a new Nokia 3250 on 13th May’2006 from Paschim Vihar market and I starts facing problem in my phone’s Music Player from August’2006 onwards. Then I decided to show my handset to Nokia care at M/s Bright Point India (P) Ltd. at Okhla for the same problem. So I sent my office executive over there in some around Ist week of September, They said there is no problem in your handset, so instead of repairing my handset they changed the hands free kit of my phone. As my office boy didn’t know anything about the exact phone problem so they made a fool of him and gave back the unrepaired handset to him, so I again contacted Nokia Care i.e. M/s Bright Point for the same problem. They told me to come again.
So I went again to the office and they said plz submit the handset to us and come after 7 days. So I called them after 7 days, they said your handset is repaired please get it collected, so I sent my office executive to collect the handset but again they gave the unrepaired handset to my executive. Then I told the same thing to M/s Bright Point about the same problem and I was again told to come again.
This time I decided to go personally and submitted the handset to them and was told to come after 7 days. So I again went to there after 7 days but same thing happened as I was expecting, phone was not duly repaired. So I asked them to swap my handset with new handset. They said for that purpose you need to talk to Nokia Customer Care. So on the same day I called Nokia Customer Care and was told to wait for 3-4 days to get the swapped phone.
So finally after 5 days I got a call from M/s Bright Point that plz collect your swapped handset. I went over there and found and shocked that the swapped phone was of Black colour instead of my Original Silver colour.So I asked for Silver colour they replied what Nokia provides us the same We forwards to the customer so we can’t help it. So I took a black colour because it would have been better to have black colour then without being a phone and launch the complaint to Nokia Customer Care about the colour problem.
So after 2 or 3 days I ultimately decided that there is no benefits to fight with Nokia because they won’t repair my handset and I did compromise with the unrepaired handset, but on some around in IInd week of October I got a call from Nokia Customer Care that Nokia is glad to tells you that Nokia is providing you a fresh phone and it’ll be given to you within 4 to 7 days and for that purpose you need to resubmit the handset to the same Nokia Care but I refuse them to resubmit the handset coz they’ll again keep my handset for another 10 – 15 days but they committed me that plz resubmitted the handset we assure you that we’ll send the handset within a week, so I again resubmitted the handset to Nokia Care.
But day after the commitment by the Nokia Customer Care, I got a call from M/s Bright Point India that your handset is duly repaired and Black panel is also replaced with the Silver panel so please get it collected immedietly.I wondered at that time and I told them that I am committed by the Nokia Customer care that you’ll be receiving a fresh phone then why are you all again giving me a repaired handset, I won’t take this phone. But M/s Bright Point told me that we have confirmed with the Nokia Customer Care that you’ll get the repaired handset along with the Silver panel as requested by you. So at last I sent my office boy over there to collect the handset and you won’t believe they gave him a broken handset and when my office boy asked for the same broken thing, then what Mr.Sanjeev at that time told to my office boy that its nothing it’s a minor thing let it go.
But when I got my handset in my hand I found it broken so I complaint for the same to M/s Bright Point and to the Nokia Customer Care also. Then I sent my office boy to resubmit the broken handset to them, so what they said we’ll not take this handset as it is broken. So I said, it was already broken when you handover it to my office boy then they replied your office boy should have to check the handset condition before taking the delivery. I fought for half an hour on phone call but they didn’t accept the phone.
After two days I got a call from Nokia Customer Care that we had a words with M/s Bright Point India so plz send the handset again to Nokia care centre and they’ll accept the same, so I finally sent my office boy to resubmitted that broken handset and after too much arguments with me and office boy, they finally accepted the handset.
So from the above statement you can find out how much visits and harassment are done foe single problem. Now from 12th October on which I submitted the broken handset, I am waiting for my fresh phone and no action is taken till date for my handset repairing. Now it’s already been 45 days that my handset is in custody of Nokia care and no standby phone is provided to me even after so many requests I have made to them.
So when I asked Nokia on 16th October through mail that now your 7 days are over plz tell me when I’ll be getting my fresh so what they said in reply of my mail that you need to contact Nokia care i.e. M/s Bright Point India on 28th October for your handset and one thing we’ll clear you Nokia will provide you reengineered or some components changed handset to you not a fresh phone.
Now I am totally confused that when I’ll be getting my duly repaired/fresh handset. Because it affects my job.

My monthly salary is Rs.25000/- and I works 8 hrs a day and 25 days a month. So per hour salary would be Rs.60/- and I visited myself six times at M/s Bright Point India which is 35 kms away from my home and for every visit I wasted at least four hrs.which means 6 visit multiplied by 4 hrs= 24 hrs.
So Actual Cost Incurred: 24*60 = 1440/-
Conveyance Charges
M/s Bright Point India is 70 kms (round trip) far away from my home and I visited six times as mentioned above, so total kms traveled was 70*6 = 420 kms.Four wheeler gives average of 12 kms per liter. So actual fuel consumed was 420/12 = 35 ltrs.
So Actual Cost Incurred: 35*48 = 1680/-
Phone Call Charges
N number of calls made to M/s Bright Point India and Nokia Customer Care. If Nokia wants the details then I can provide the same also.
So Actual Cost Incurred: 400/-
Mental Harassments
I lost my working efficiency due to mental stress given by Nokia by changing their commitments every time regarding repair of my costly handset. I always earned incentives/overtime from my company for my efficient works but due to this non availability of phone, borrowing phone from dealers affected my efficiency. I have exams in November’2006 and for my MBA and Insurance Associates. I also lost concentration from its study. My best relations has lost to with my permanent phone dealer coz I pressurized him every time for my phone. I got two times my BP high while arguing with Ms.Babita at M/s Bright Point and Mr.Amit/Mr.Bhatia at Nokia Customer Care which leads my health into a bad condition. My friends always made joke of me that you are so sick that even you can’t get your phone repaired from Nokia.I think what the amount I have mentioned for mental harassments is not too much but is very otherwise people like others demands more for Mental Harassments.
So Estimated Cost Incurred: 10000/-
Study Interruptions
I have to take daily classes of my MBA and Insurance early in the morning, which I have lost due to be on time at M/s Bright Point India to get interacted with Engineer as early as possible. I have lost my six classes. My each class cost me Rs.300/-

As I have visited six times to M/s Bright Point India (P) Ltd. and there was always delayed in examination of handset,so for every visit I need to take half day from my job.My per days salary is Rs.400/-

My phone is currently in custody of M/s Bright Point India (P) Ltd. for the last 45 days and is forcing me to wait for more 15 days. So it means I have not used my phone for at least two months, so if I didn’t use my handset for the last two months so why should I cost my handset warranty to be lesser then 12 months. It should be extended by two months or Nokia should cost for any damage which would have covered if my handset warranty is being extended.I bought my handset for Rs.17100/-
So Actual Cost Incurred: 17100/12*2 = 2850/-
Rent of Substitute Phone
Since my phone is not with me and I have to carry on my job so I took a substitute handset from my nearest phone dealer on rent and he is charging me Rs.50/- per day.

This is the letter which i had send to Nokia Mobile Company regarding my Mobile Phone but no one from
Nokia company is giving me proper response.
I Sanjay Dhyani being customer of Nokia Phone for the last six years had purchased Nokia 76l0 set on 22.10.2005. Few months back, display fluctuation fault was noticed for which I visited the Nokia Care Center, Karnal for rectification of the fault 27.9.2006 but I was told that they do not have display in their stock thus I should visit after a week. They also assured me that the set would be repaired in warranty. Thus, I again visited the Center on 4.l0.2006 but the told that still the display was not available. In view of urgency I requested them for early repair thus they opened the set and the job sheet was prepared in which they mentioned the fault as Water Inside whereas neither any such fault was noticed at any stage during the use of set by me nor I made any such complaint. When I further asked them as to how water can come inside, I was told by them that it could be the form of moisture about which also they were not sure. However, they are refusing to repair the set under warranty whereas the set is still in the warranty period till 21.10.2005.
It is highly regretted that the Care Center of highly reputed Nokia company is not providing satisfactory service to its customers and trying to mis-guide the consumer on one pretext or the other to avoid the repair with in warranty period. In case the set has absorbed moisture from the atmosphere thus caused functional defect, that amounts to manufacture defect may that be under warranty period or other wise also which needs to be rectified in the best interest of the Nokia otherwise the sets are likely to loose the consumers confidence in the Nokia Phone Sets.
I, thus humbly request you to please direct the care center for its immediate repair under warranty under intimation to me so that I could visit the Care center accordingly. Job sheet detail is as under:

Message to Nokia: further i have given my mobile phone thrice to your service center, earlier u took 16 days to repair the same, again after a week it was creating the same problem. i given it back to you- it took 8 days to repair, (kindly note the days). the moment we took the mobile in our hand at ur service center - again it got down, it happened today itself, i dont know why u people kept it for so many days. now again the mobile is with you for repair - for approx 8 days or so. coz of this i am not carrying any mobile from past one month, its warranty is going to expire on 3.10.06. therefore sir, i request you this time to make it repair properly or issue me a new mobile as the rules under warranty.

I had given my Nokia mobile (7610) to the Nokia care center (Solectron centrum electronics limited,R.P. Road, Secunderabad) for repair on 9/9/2006.
Many keys on my mobile werent working. I was tolde to contact the Nokia care center after 2 days to find out the progress. When I called after 2 days, I was told that the keypad needs to be changes. Since they didnt have the keypad in store, they would get it. I was then asked to call after 2 days.
When I called again after 2 days to find out if the keypad got replaced, I was again turned down saying that the replacement is yet to arrive.
Since then whenever I call, I am asked to call after a period of 2 days. I really fail to understand as to why they are taking such a long time to get the replacement. Does it happen to be such a great and complex component that they need to procure it from some foreign land? I hope not.
Moreso when I expressed my desire to talk to the Nokia care center manager for escalating my problem, I was simply refused by the person on the call, saying that the call cant be forwarded to the manager.
I have been really disheartned by such a poor response from Nokia care. I would request the concerned authorities to do the needful.

I on behalf of my client named & addressed above place the following grievance before you for an early consideration.
1. That, the Noticee No- 3 is dealing with the sale & service of NOKIA Mobile phone at Kendrapara.
2. That, my client purchased a NOKIA mobile phone bearing model No- 7610 black/blue and IMEI number [protected] from notice No. 3 on dt. 31.12.06 for his personal use. The said mobile handset was warranted for a period of 12 months from the date of sale.
3. That, unfortunately the said mobile handset didn’t function at all and could not provide service for which my client placed the said handset for its repair in worthy functioning at the business premises of notice NO. 3 who then placed the said mobile with the notice No. 2, which is the authorized service Center of NOKIA CARE and accordingly the notice No. 2 issued job sheet bearing No. [protected]/070407/20 dt. 07.04.07.
4. That, in spite of necessary repairings taken up by the notice No. 2 the mobile phone also didn’t operate and therefore on dt. 9.5.07 the said mobile was again placed with notice No. 2 by my client and accordingly Job sheet No. [protected]/070509/33 was issued in favor of my client. It is important to mention here that, the said mobile handset is well within the warranty period.
5. That, it is a matter of regret that, the said mobile phone has not yet been repaired nor replaced by your authorized NOKIA CARE Service Center, i.e. the notice No. 2. Although my client has gone to Cuttack Several Times and approached the authorities of notice No. 2, he did not pay any heed ; for which my client was sustained serious mental agony and financial loss.
Under the aforesaid circumstances I request you on behalf of my client that, his handset be replaced with a new one within 15 days from the date of receipt of this notice, otherwise my client will be constrained to approach proper court of law and you will be held responsible for all costs and consequences thereof.
I had purchased a new Nokia Handset Model No. 7610, on Ist November 2006 from Ambika Enterprises, SCO No 42, Sector 11, Panchkula, Haryana(India). After two days i noticed a dot in the display of the mobile, for which I went to the dealer. He asked me to go to Nokia Mobile Care Centre. I went there and showed them my the problem in the mobile. They asked me to leave the mobile with them and they said that its a display problem and they will change the display.I handed over the mobile to them. I went to them again, and showed the problem to them. Again they said that, its a display problem and they wil change it. They gave me another Job sheet bearing number [protected]/061122/28 dated 22.11.2006. Same they said that we will change the display and according to them they had replaced the display. Now when they changed it (as per their statement), i didnt see any dot for about half an hour, and wen i returned home, I again started seeing the same dot.
Now my question is as to what i should do? Its a sheer harrassment to the consumer. Whatever is the problem? I am suffering. My handset has been opened twice, and i think it is decreasing the life span of the Handset and i have been suffering in this regard. I dont want any service, but i want my handset changed. Such dealers, Nokia Care centers are bringing bad name to such a reputed company of Nokia.

network problems
I have nokia 6270 and having lot of problems with it. Already replaced once bcos of network problems now the replaced one is also having same problem. First one took 3 months to be replaced and now i don't want to send this one cos another 3 months. Nokia has not tested this phone well before launching and they should recall all handsets in the market and provide another working model for free. Do not buy this model anyone...
Its been three times the same problem has occurred. Date of purchase of Nokia 3250 handset: 19th May 2006.
First complaint: Job Sheet Number 13072. Complaint was filed on 26th September 2006. Set was returned on 21st October 2006.
Second Complaint: Same problem occurred (No network). Handset was given to repair on 5th November 2006. Set was returned on 20th December 2006. Job Sheet number was 14139. And back flap was lost by the company.
Third Complaint: Same problem occurred. Handset given to repair on 21st December 2006. And till date not returned.
Suggest everyone to stay away from Nokia bad products!
I am using nokia 6270 from last 3 years and facing problems with its sliding, very slow functioning, No Network Coverage issues planning to change the handset now...repaired 2-3 times.

your mobile is not working properly
I have also facing some problem in time setting in my 6270 nokia mobile.After time set .when i am opening main menu it is going 00.00 hrs .
I am also facing the network problem with Nokia 6270. Within four month of buying this set, this set started working in very strange way. Network problem, battery got discharged with in a day, started automatically etc etc. I took my phone to Nokia service center, Noida. They submitted it and after one month they told me that since this set had some manufacturing defect and hecne could not be rectified by them. They offered me new set of same model (6270).
After 3 months the new set too developed the same issue. Now warranty period is over and I know that Nokia service Center is unable to repair this phone. I spent Rs 17000 for this phone and with in a year this phone is not in working condition. This is hard earned money. I am feeling get cheated by Nokia. I request future buyers that don't go for any Nokia product. Their product is of very poor quality, there services are worst. These people just interested in making money at any cost.
This is one of most pathetic mobile phones launched by nokia... I can not back up the messages... It just backs up inbox and outbox and not my personal or archived folders... And forget about the support... Will never buy this again
I also agree with Sadanand , same thing is happening with me, after 2-3 month my cell was giving error and i was not able to select the operator, i went to one of the gallery he said this is part of wear and tear and so no replacement(even though my cell i am using in best possible way to avoid even a scratch on display) i said ok, give me the estimates, they said it will cost around 1200 Rs, i went to other nokia dealer they said 500 bucks , then i went to a dealer in suburb he said he can do it in 250 rs, i get it done.
Cell worked fine for 3 month, then start giving problem my screen was opening as we start computer in safe mode, they said again it seems u r cell is fallen but as per my knowledge there presumption is -ve, i was in urgency so i said go ahead they said it will be around 950 since strap is to be changed i said ok , then after 3 days when i went to pick it up they said cannot be done some problem ,i will have to get software reinstalled, i said take back up of messages and addresses and then reload once formatted, they said they dont provide this service. I was left with option other than losing my contacts, they formatted it, now navigation is working fine i am confused what is the problem "software " or "Strap" and they have charged me 950 +250 respectively,
But Still i cannot use my cell cannot select network,it is almost 5 days now struggling to get this rectified,
Can some one help me what to do.

yess it is right i also bought a nokia N8 a week ago n i find that its headphones are not working properly n also it was not connecting to the internet ... no care center helped me for it n this is how they do fraud to people ... i think we totally shud ban nokia company in india for they r just fraud
Persons in the centre are just fraud, they are stealing things from nokia original handsets submit there for repairing, kindly look into the matter urgently and seriously . Because this is spoiling names of nokia, to which still we have some trust.

I agree with this complaint, Even same problem i faced with Nokia Care Pune situated opp to Golibar Maidan.They dont have any solutions about the handset, I think so they didnt checked even what was the problem with my handset & they just informed me that my handset will not get repaired at all, where in iwhen i gave this H/S to one of my friend as he can repair mobiles, he just repaired it within 5 days & informed teher was some IC problem wich he just changed. I think so nokia care is just made to waste time of the people, we cannot expect any thing from them as they have not trained or they dont want to work for people...
