breadsticks
Sat at the table in Findlay ohio asking for once more thing of breadsticks and waitress kept saying the GM was there and she could not give us any more breadsticks. Very disappointed in this and not sure if I ever want to go back to any Olive Garden again if they treat customers like this. The first time I asked she said she would be right out with some. After about a half hour still none so I asked againa nd then that’s when she said that about the GM being there. Sure hope we can resolve this issue cause I’ve loved Olive Garden for a long time, very valuable customer. But if it’s somwthing like this and it is a simple fix, if I doesn’t get taken care of I won’t be back. Thanks for your time.
shocked and dismayed
Our experience at the Fredericksburg VA Olive Garden was great. However, I learned that Olive Garden doesn't give a discount to seniors with an AARP card or to US Veterns. This is a simple issue of respect for everyone's service--seniors who have worked long and hard for society and security and vets who have served to protect all of us at home and abroad. Although we enjoy your restaurant, service and food, I am not sure we will return as long as these two groups are not honored with discounts.
my dinner plate
I went out to dinner tonight for the first time in a long time and i pick olive Garden because it was my favorite restaurant on till today when my dinner plate was served to me and i go and cut my chicken i move around my pasta and what I find a roach in my pasta..I was very disappointed I called the manager and all he has to say was oh sorry we'll take care of the bill...like it was no big deal about I stood quite and just got up and left...will never go back there aging...abd very sad because it was always my first choice when out for a good meal 😥😥😥😥😥
service/staff
I had the displeasure of dining at your establishment 10/15/17. We called ahead to be placed on the wait list. 1 hour after our "time" we were seated. 15 minutes later the server finally acknowledged our presence. The waters and a beer were ordered. We were very hungry at this point and my family asked if she could just being the salad and breadsticks, too. She refused and walked away. A few minutes later the water arrived and she proceeded to deal with a large group next to us for 10 minutes. (They had already finished their meals.)
Finally, 1 1/2 hours after our "wait time" we ordered. Had to ask again for the beer. Had to ask for any refills, had to ask for everything!
I am a former server and bartender. Have never ever thought of not leaving a tip, until this experience.
To top everything off, the manager came out into the dining room and disciplined her in front of all of the patrons.
Good luck Olive Garden, you need it.
kudos
Olive Garden #1525 Server Kristina L, table 62 date 10/18/2017chk#50069.
I know this app is for complaint, however I want to share with you folks, the best server & experience that we ever had at a restaurant in a long time. Our 9 year old grand-daughter chose Olive Garden to celebrate her birthday this evening. Our server was very pleasant, on top of drink, salad & breadstick refills. She used words like, my pleasure, no problem. I was a server for 13 years, so I know when a server really enjoys their job. Kristina was amazing. I spoke to the mgr as we were leaving & told him the Kristina was amazing, but I know they you already know that :) I looked on my receipt for feedback info, nothing on the receipt. So to the corporate office, please recognize the talent in your servery Kristina, in Wyomissing PA.
brian
He forgot my refill 4 times. He didn't bring me my parm and my food was a little cold when he brought it. He needs to look at the table and see if you need a refill i shouldn't have to ask i expect him to know i need one at this establishment. He didn't bring no forks he only brung us spoons and we had some pasta? WHAT? who eat pasta with a spoon?

I'm guessing by your username that you're not a fan of this Brian gentleman. Did you request to speak to a manager?
about coltin williams
He was rude, disrespectful, and used fowl language. I was calling to do an employment verification and the guy got on the phone and told me to call corporate and hung up. Then I called back to get the number and he refused to give it to me so I had to call around to get it. I will never eat there with him being in charged and I will tell everyone I know not to go there. He should be fired for how he treats people.
management in kokomo
My wife and I were at the Bar area waiting to order when a young waitress (Madison) was being totally humiliated by manager (Tony) I'm not sure what was going on but it had to do with another customer. Who had ate dinner and then left without paying .the young girl was visibly uspset but the Manager was Relentless in his degrading assault at one point he threatened to fire the young lady. My wife and I felt so bad for this young lady Who seemed visibly shaken by the onslaught of this Manager. He was very unprofessional and very out line in the way he handled the situation. We did not order we simply left. As long as that manager (Tony) is allowed to treat his employees like they don't matter or as if it's ok to speak to an employee in a manner that he felt was ok, that store will lose business. He was totally degrading this young girl. It doesn't matter what she had or hadnt done. As a manager he is to be held to a hire standard. he was by far the worst manager I have ever seen. my wife and I will not be back. Madison you are a Great waitress and Olive Garden is lucky to have you working for them. Keep smiling young lady and don't let the words of a poor manager affect you... Saddend customer
poor quality/service in johnson city, tn
On 10/13/2017 myself and two others had several appointments in the Johnson City, TN area. As Olive Garden is a favorite of ours in the Teri -Cities we love to stop and have lunch with you after. On this occasion we were served by Mary who was extremely aggressive not to mention loud and really pushing the quart of wine because it was only $1.25! Yes I enjoy a good deal too guys, but I'm driving O.K.? The food, I'm not nit picking here, I'm giving you the facts. The bread was cold, cheese was served on the bread plates, and my mothers soup was practically tossed across the table in a hurry. Mother had asked for red pepper flakes for her soup, but that never showed. Now the pasta. Hot plate, cold pasta, warm sauce well this did it and we sent it back to the kitchen and said warm it up. The cook came out and said it would be a health code violation. Now we have been there a good 45 minutes. He says he will re cook everything but it will take time. I cancelled. You understand why. I would like to say Kingsport, TN and Bristol, VA are EXCELLENT Olive Gardens, but not Johnson City. Melissa Greene
integrity of restaurant staff members
Hi,
On September 30th, my family and I dined at the Olive Garden on 92-10 59th Avenue Elmhurst, NY 11373. My mother loves Olive Garden so we decided to go to the one near us is Queens. Upon arriving, we were told the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour, which was understandable. We didn't have a problem with it because we know Saturday night is always busy in any restaurant. However, we didn't even have to wait long because we were seated within 20 minutes. This was when our night sort of went south. Our server, Rosanna did not approach us until 10 mins later. She took our orders and tended to her other tables. We were not offered bread and salad nor did we get water. I had to flag her down to get her attention so she can bring the stuff out. Then our entree arrived. We were confused because for one, we had ordered appetizers to start, and they forgot to bring it out. Then, for my entree, I had asked for grilled chicken with my pasta and they also forgot to add that. When I flagged Rosanna down to let her know, she played dumb and shifted the blame to "What? They forgot to bring that out for you?" And "What? They didn't add the chicken for you?" Instead of blaming other people, she should have checked before serving the food out. It is her responsibility as a server to check. I have worked at a corporate chain restaurant before, so I know that this type of service is not acceptable! On top of the horrible service we got, when she finally brought the side of grilled chicken out, it was barely cooked. I was appalled. I told my younger sister to not eat it because she could've gotten salmonella. So instead, I asked the server to bring me out another plate of pasta, but this time with breaded chicken. She came back with grilled chicken and told me she was not able to punch in for the breaded chicken because the system would not allow her to. At this point, I was dumbfounded. My family just wanted to get out of there because the service was horrendous. When we got our check, my mother even generously tipped her 20% for her crappy service. HOWEVER, when my mom received her bank statement in the mail, she saw she was charged an additional $5 to the 20% we tipped the server. That is unacceptable! How can you guys allow a thief to be working in your company? As if 20% wasn't enough? We went to the restaurant where we ate and spoke with a young manager yesterday, October 13 and told him the situation. All he did was returned us the $5 and told us he was sorry. To me, and my family, that is not enough for the trouble we went through. This is why I am reaching out to you guys because something has got to give. Please respond to me at your earliest convenience. I've also attached photos of my receipt and credit card statement.
Thanks,
Kathie Huynh
the food
On October 11, 2017 my husband and I went to the Olive Garden at 3701 Mckinley Parkway Blasdell, N.Y. 14219. [protected]) Check #30657 Table 511. We have never been to an Olive Garden and have seen it advertised a lot on television, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the never ending pasta bowl with the salad, and bread sticks. The pasta ( Cavatappi) with the traditional marinara sauce was cold and the marinara sauce was very watery. I have had marinara sauce before and it normally is thick enough to stay on the pasta without using a spoon to eat it. The Fettucine with the five cheese marinara tasted as if came from a tin can. The salad was very fresh and crunchy but only had 1 slice of tomato which looked like it was sliced from a plum tomato. The bread sticks were a little salty but good. We drove about 45 minutes to get there at 11:51 am when they first opened. Our waitress was very nice (Kelly E) and we understood it was not her fault as she doesn't make the food only serves it. The manager Celine Mann did apologize but that was all. Our total bill came to $24.98 and we never got to enjoy the fact of it being a never ending dish.

olive garden on hesperian blvd/hayward calif.
My aunt and I went to olive garden in hayward, ca. After being seated, it took the server, at least 13min. To tell us she would be with us shortly to take our order. We waited again another 10min. Before she came to take our order. After getting one of the orders incorrect (which was corrected) with no big issues. I paid the bill wih $100. bill. I understand these bills hav to get check. I had my receipt from my bank, regarding my with drawal (minutes before comeing to the restaurant) of my withdrawal of numerous bills. Anyway after 10min. Of disaperance of the waitress and my change. I stop another waiter and ask if he could find her and or the problem. He stated she should be comeing he guess. Now 5 more min. Pass no waitress, I ask another waiter, same question, he do not see her. After another at least 5-7min. No waitress, I am thinking maybe something wrong with my mony? So now I awaiting for the police, or maybe she quit and now left with my money, and / or maybe she got sick and had to leave (with my money). What ever the case as long as I had been. Waiting / half standing looking around mgmt. Or someone should come to explain something. I came in on a walker/ with seat, I chose to seat on my walker seat, so chairs was move around, I sat with request at special spot so I would not be an inconvenience / or in any ones way. I am due for surgery oct.23rd for knee revision from a 2mo. Ago knee replacement. I hav a trach (11 yrs.) From severe sleep apnea. So I can' t scream nor yell (which is the main. customer service issue
My wife and i had to wait an hour before we were able to be seated. We was told it would be a 30 min wait also online it said no waiting. That is why we pick that location. We also was treated unfairly tonight because I ordered the endless pasta and let her taste a fork full of one of my bowls and i notice that my portion sizes were smaller. When we asked for napkins we never recieved any. The waiter quickly came out with the reciept book which we give no indication that we were ready to depart with the endless pasta Then i asked the waiter for another bowl then she said you allready had 3 bowls no more pasta for me because i give her the fork full of pasta she ask to taste because she never had the creamy Alfredo before. She also had her own meal. Are bread sticks were kind of cold and we told sandra the waiter and she snatched them and took for very long to bring some more. I think it was the same ones and she just reheated them. This location really needs to be investigated i come to olive garden at least every two months and never had an experience this bad. Can someone please help me with this?
rude customer service
My husband and I have been coming there for years and have never had a bad experience until this past Wednesday night. I walked in to get a table while he parked the car and was not greeted or even looked at. I stood at the host stand while one of the hostesses was looking down at her phone, so I said hello to get her attention and she looked up at me in annoyance and I felt as if my business was very unwanted. She grabbed menus and just started walking away, still without hardly saying a word as she rushed us to our table. She said about two words when she seated us and then left very quickly before we could even tell her we preferred a booth. Overall, this interaction put a damper on our whole experience and I am hesitant to come back to this location as we felt rather unwelcome. The name of the hostess was Celine and I think it would be appropriate if she was talked to about this matter.
chicken
last weekend my wife and I went out to eat with family at olive garden in Dickson City pa. I had the pasta and was very pleased, however my wife ordered some chicken I believe the with the tour of itilay. Well the chicken was rock hard, so she told the waiter, he went and got the manager. So the manager asked my wife if she wanted another piece and when she explained she didn't want another piece in fear of another piece would be just as hard. The manager did nothing else about the situation. As like other times this happened (yes this wasn't the first time) the other times the manager went out of there way to please us even taking the meal of the bill. this time it was very bad service! And don't know if we will go back.
service/workers
On 10/01/01 at around 7:30-8:00 we went to Olive Garden with family. Our waiter was great (Chris) what I didn’t like is the help he was not receiving when apparently he was asking for it. There is an empty room to our right, there were about 4-6 employees sitting down folding napkins. On of them with a beard seemed to be drinking in the job. It looked like a wine cup with a dark liquid.y waiter went To ask to sign a birthday song to one of the guests and Mom of them stood up the waiter had to go to the kitchen and got some people Fronde there. I seemed to be sitting next to two ladies that looked like managers. They were in a booth. Anyways, there was lack of help towards the sisters that were working tables. We waited so long for coffee, refills, our waiter was working hard and others where just sitting around along what it seemed to be to two lay managers. And they charge me twice in my credit card. We love that Olive Garden but we did not like what we saw, experienced that special night.
general service at the restaurant
We had a group of five at the Olive Garden in Lincolnwood Town Center this past Saturday evening. We have gone there very often in the past and up until the last two visits, we had enjoyed good service as well as good food. The last two visits, the service was lousy...waiting a very long time to even get some water. In addition, the table was filthy. We asked for a wet rag to wipe it down ourselves, but the manager said that the table was clean, but that the finish had come off. I was using my fingernail to remove the crud from the table, as were a number of my dinner companions...it was just plain filthy. We will not be going back.
experience
We went to Olive Garden last night for a nice dinner with some friends they seated Us in the main part of the restaurant. Which was okay but the fact being we were seated around several different parties and they were extremely extremely loud. Not only could you not hear your friends talking but you couldn't even concentrate and enjoy your meal it was a miserable miserable night. All and all our server was awesome but we could not enjoy our meal for all the loud and screaming these other guess were doing.
I have always enjoyed Olive Garden this is the second time that I've had a bad experience the first time was probably a month ago when I ordered to go the buy one get one of course the one is cold when you get it I understand but when I received my actual food it was cold and I live down the road so it wasn't that I waited too long to go get it and also I was supposed to get salad well all I got was lettuce.
service/food
There was about a 25 minute wait, so we went to the bar to purchase drinks while we waited. When we finally got a table, my husband asked for a water, and I had finished my drink, so I asked for a Diet Coke. She brought my drink but forgot his water. When we went to order, she questioned what he was ordering, and double checked he really wanted it. I then ordered. Fettuccine alfredo is what I ordered, never had anything else from this restaurant- it's my absolute favorite. When she brought our food, she gave me shrimp scampi.. I told her it wasn't what I ordered and she was extremely annoyed. Finally, still no water for my husband, and no ranch that he had asked for when he got his food, she brought my food. The noodles were over cooked and barely any sauce, but I decided to try them anyways. She also asked if I wanted any cheese on it, I said yes, normally they tell you when to stop, she barely gave me any and just walked away. I asked for extra sauce when she finally came back about 7 minutes later. That took another 5 minutes, and it was still just awful. The manager came over and says she came to check on what was wrong. I stated it, and she said anything else? I previously was a store manager for food restaurants, and I have never felt so unwelcomed, she seemed so irritated. I NEVER complain, because I know how aggravating it is, but I have never been disappointed in your establishment and now I don't even know if coming back is an option.

This sounds like one isolated experience. No longer visiting the restaurant because one time you did not get more of something that is already free sounds like an overreaction. They certainly don't owe you anything as compensation if that's what you're looking for. An apology is at most what you should receive.
I don't feel there's anything wrong with asking for more breadsticks. They are complimentary with the meal. But one also needs to be reasonable as to the amount.
