HI ; this the email I have sent it to sales department, followed by more and more emails and no response, please I want to speak to a person who can help me in my issue.
Dear Sir;
Good morning;
On 6TH June, I was in France, Paris, and I was supposed to return to Dubai by Qatar airways flight which I booked it earlier, and due to circumstances, we have to change the booking to Oman air to come back to Dubai where I live.
I tried to book through your site but It was not confirmed and I did not received any confirmation letter, or a booking number, so I tried to book again through go voyage site and it was confirmed.
When we came to the airport the staff girl told us there where tow booking for me and my friend, and when the manager came (a French man) we ask him and he said there is no tow booking.
When I came to Dubai, I saw through my bank statement that you take two times the price of the tickets. Once from Oman air and the other from Go voyage?
Please I would like to request you to return the money you had debited by mistake.
I tried many times to contact your local office in Dubai no one was answering the phone so I called your Office in Oman and thy advised me to write this email.
Regards and thank you for understanding.

delay due to technical reason
Gents,
This is an official complaint for which I demand a compensation from Oman air.
I was travelling from Bengaluru to Dammam on flight WY0284 on 17 October 2017. ETD was 1620. Due to technical break down it was scheduled at 1650. Later again to 1730 atlast. I had connecting flight to Dammam from Muscat at 1945. When the flight landed first it took 8 minutes for the bus to come to take us to terminal, which was totally unacceptable. We were standing on the steps waiting for the bus to arrive.
When I reached Muscat checking point I was handed a new boarding pass where the flight to Dammam was at 0155 and a dinner coupon.
So is this the way to handle the customers. Not a single staff came and even mentioned that the flight has been missed due to the delay from Bengaluru.
I had just been to Bengaluru for a day and back to Dammam.
Being a short visit and the hurdles which faced by Oman Air now even after two days I am not able to makeup my health. Reason being no proper care for the customers.
And other thing which I noticed was the facilities in the airport which are not satisfactory. Very sad to mention above message.
Regards,
Nayaz Samdani

I am complaining about the drop of my wallet in flight wy 322
I am complaining about my wallet that I have dropped in Oman air in the flight that was departed from Karachi and landed to muscat with the flight number WY 322. Wallet is of brown color with my name written in it "Adeel Mallick"
My seat number was 22F of economy class.
In wallet there is card of Standard Chartered and my Id card as well and other important things.
Please try to find it ASAP
You're complaining against Oman Air because you dropped your wallet, and feel that the airline is responsible for magically returning it?
Anyone could have found it and taken it. Typical to complain against the airline.
Lesson: Take better care of your stuff, and when you do lose it. Take ownership rather than blaming others for your errors.

meals served on board muscat-goa sector wy0207 on 31st august 2017
I am a regular traveler by Oman air to Goa. Although my seat number was 18 F, i was surprised to note that I along with most of the passengers on our flight were served vegetarian meals, obviously because they ran out of Non-vegetarian meals.
From your own experience, you would have noticed that most of the passengers on the Muscat- Goa sector are non-vegetarians. I can understand you serving vegetarian meals on Muscat -Chennai flight. Request you to instruct your catering department to provide less vegetarian and more of non-vegetarian meals on this sector. This is not the first time that i have been served vegetarian meals on this sector.
When i told the Flight attendant that i wanted to register a complain, he gave me a piece of paper and an envelope which had no self adhesive...Not even a stapler . Am not sure if my letter dated 31st August 2017 has reached your office.
For the price of ticket that people pay to travel by Oman Air and the brand image that you have been trying to maintain, passengers definitely deserve better service on Oman air.
A disappointed traveler.
flights and transit staff at muscat international airport
In writing I would like to bring to your attention the horrific service we have have received from your airline. Not only was the food of a limited and poor quality, but your staff service is shocking bad and with a very rude attitude- especially at muscat International Airport. The Indian man who you have employed at your transit desk was rude, unorganised and unhelpful.
We had booked and paid for a hotel in muscat (holiday inn) to stay for me and my husband and two children during our 12 hour stay in transit in muscat. We arrived only to be told we must pay additional £200 visa fees despite being British citizens. No where on your website it states we must pay visa fees and most middle eastern countries such as Dubai do not charge for visas.
Because we did not have the means to pay upfront, your horrible staff gave us no choice but to wait in the airport lounge on hard seats with two children for 12 hours.
The Indian man barked like a wild dog at all the passengers, he was at the desk 8am on Friday 01 September 2017. When I asked for his supervisor or his name he refused to provide information and continued shouting at all the passengers.
I'm disgusted by the poor level of service - and this was my first and last experience of using your airline.
I am within my rights to claim back my hotel and food expenses from your airline. Kindly advise me on this otherwise I shall pursue a bigger claim with damages also.
My hotel cost was £80, and my food bills with family was £50 at the airport.
I will wait for your timely response via email.

My Wife along with 2 Childs (Pax full details below) was travelling from Chittagong (CGP) to London (LHR) via Muscat (MUS) on the 02.09.2017 by Oman Air WY 312. We reached CGP around 19:00 for check in. When they submitted their passport to the check in counter and weighted our baggage’s (total 5 nos), first 4 nos of baggage’s weight become 105 kg. Their legitimate weight was 90 kg for 3 pax although on the ticket says 32 kg and Oman Air (OA) website also show “Weight: No one single bag should weigh more than 32 Kg.” (http://www.omanair.com/en/travel-info/baggage-services/allowance). However, I proposed either to pay extra charges for 5th baggage as per OA piece concept of taka 3350 or will take the 5th numbered baggage with me, as I am also travelling shortly with same Oman Air (Mohammad Saifur Rahman WY/ETKT 910 [protected]). I requested to consider the counter officer (Mr. Mitul) if he could looked after this additional 15 kg with the consideration that we are frequent flyer and Sindbad member, more over please presume that these 5 kg is over on each pax (5 kg x 3pax = 15kg). In reply he said he can consider only 5 kg, but no more and asked us to pay remain 10 kg under OA piece concept. In the meantime whilst I was talking and requesting to consider the counter officer (Mr. Mitul), he then started shout at me in front of other passengers and stated that “If you are frequent flyer, don’t you know how to go!” ( In Bangla “ Apni frequent flyer, aar apni janen na kivabe jete hoy!”). This is very bad, insulting and rude towards any frequent flyer. Mr. Mitul didn’t stop shout, came out of his counter, stepped over to weight scale and making all other pax know that “I asked to consider 50 kg!”. I got serious upset, embarrassed and challenged him saying “How are you making other pax know as witness for my personal matter, whilst this ain’t true that I asked to consider 50 kg”. After a little argument between us, Mr. Mitul pulled out all baggage from the weight scale and stopped serving us. Finally after 1 hour and 18 minutes of disgraceful service from the Oman Air counter at CGP, without a single word of “Apology”, my family collected the boarding pass. It needs to be mentioned that we paid 2 x bags extra charges under piece concept, keep Oman Air happy!
Mr. Mitul’s attitude was very arrogant, irresponsible, misconduct, unprofessional and not fit for the purpose more over appalling.
Therefore, I seriously consider claiming as my dissatisfaction and grievance to Oman Air to investigate, inform back, rectify issues, awful and horrific service, avoid unprofessional attitude in future with the following to bear in mind and by taking CCTV footage as witness.
Why did we have to wait for 1 h 18 minutes at counter for check in?
Why baggage taken out from belt / scale?
Why did Mr. Mitul come out from counter?
Why no apology given by any member of staff considering station manager was present at the end of the play?
Why and how customer relations officer raised his voice on guest and made witness to other pax?
Why mislead information of 50 kg was telling to other pax?
Why a Frequent Flyer had to know, how to fly with Oman Air using abusive and unprofessional way from Mr. Mitul?
Last not least, in your customer relations webpage mentioned clearly “Flying Oman Air is only the beginning of a beautiful relationship with us. We believe customer satisfaction is of paramount importance, as taking care of you is not just good business, but an enduring commitment that we strive to maintain. Our aspiration is to become the airline of your choice.”

I am Amritpal kaur. I travelled from Muscat to Toronto (Canada) on 19 December, 2018 Oman Air (WY) - 103 from Muscat to Toronto and my flight from Muscat was at 2.10AM.
I am having a serious concern regarding my luggage and want to complain regarding my damaged bags.
when I reached my destination and when I received my luggage I found them completely damaged. The wheels are completely broken and I am not able to move my luggage with the help of wheels.
The handle of luggage is completely damaged and even it is not with the bag. The side holders are also broken and it also affected my stuff inside the bags.
I didn't complain about this issue at the airport because I checked my bags when I reached home and I want to complain regarding this issue and want from Oman air to take some step regarding this issue because this is completely not acceptable. I am going to send pictures of my damaged luggage for the documentation.
I want to request for the compensation for my damaged luggage and affected stuff because it costs me a lot to buy the new one.
Hoping for a response from your side.

flight timing and on board services
I am a frequent traveller with omanair. But from last 2 trips within 2 months duration same flight delayed for almost an hour. Thats the routine of omanair now. They cant handle passengers timely. Few cases happend with my friends as well travelling from muscat to lahore same route. We choose omanair because its direct flight. But wht is the meaning of taking a direct flight which is always late.
Secondly this time flight number WY341 is having the worst crew members i have ever seen while travelling. Lead Cabin crew (some romanian female) gives a damn about pasengers. I asked thrice about the inflight feedback form/complaint register. But they never gave me.
The only entertainment in economy class THE LCD wsnt working. Compalined about that also but received with a comment "we will sort it out later".
The food served was full of black peppers. Its was a black pepper dish with few chunks of chicken in it.
This was the worst experience of mine with omanair. And i am considering to drop my frequent traveller card and choose someother airline onwards.
bad service at goa airport
Hello Oman Air Team
Greetings!
I had very bad experience whilst returning from Goa airport on 23rd of August 2017 flight # WY 0210 lady at the security stopped me and refused to carry some frozen stuff which I was carrying (packed n sealed so well) she showed me rules of Oman air but some lines were hand written and there was no company seal on it when I asked for copy as proof she denied as and I had to throw my stuff out which costed me lump sum amount.
I am aware of things to carry and we do travel often and never was questioned like this. we carry frozen stuff from Oman without any hassles. may I know why Oman Air rules are not same to every destination? why only Goa sector catch us on food stuff? why the rules mentioned are handwritten on the end of the page? Why are we being questioned if we packed (traveller) packed the bags obviously we know we packed at security our bags screened and why do they again question which takes our time and it insults passengers at times.
Please consider my query and hope to hear from you.
Thank you
Regards
Rita Dias

contradictory advice from oman air
I have been having a terrible time dealing with OmanAir up until now, I have a major problem as I have tickets booked with OmanAir London to Kuala Lumpur and when I was booking the ticket the website would not allow me to add the full long name in the last name field.
After I contacted Oman Air about this, I was telephoned by a member of staff who said it was not a problem that the ticket had the short version of the name on since the website did not allow me to type more in the last name box.
I was asked to email the passport to her for her to make double sure it was OK, later that day she sent me an email and told me in writing that she had further confirmation after she has spoken to LHR staff who also confirmed there will not be a problem with boarding or checking in.
Then she sent a second email with yet more reassurance confirmation that she has also spoken to KUL side and also they confirm no problem.
Then suddenly today she has sent me an email which looks like she is backtracking what she had previously confirmed not only that it looks like she is saying in a not very direct way that I am expected to buy a new ticket.
I have asked her to call me urgently to offer a more detailed explanation of what this means and why I have been given incorrect information all along I am am now in the process of speaking to a legal team about this and the case is being followed on LBC Radio where I contribute to a consumer rights programme. I called customer services but the person I spoke to does not know how I can get in contact with the person who I was dealing with as she doesn't work in that team. Can you help me escalate this complain to a Manager please or the email address of Paul Gregorowitsch. I consider the lastest email a deadlock letter and I will be escalating this matter to the appropriate ombudsman which regulates OmanAir
complaint about the flight no. wy0432, sector : tehran - muscat, dated 15-08-2017
My name Mr Sami Abdul Aziz Jaffer, Omani nationality was flying by Oman Air Business Class, Flight No. WY0432 on 15/08/2017. My complaints are as follow:
1. My Seat No. was 01F - Business Class,
2. Ticket No. [protected]
3. On the above flight I believe Oman Air has seated one passenger from Yemen which I believe was economy class passenger
4. Behind me there was two Yemeni passenger, who were economy class passenger.
5. During my travel from Tehran to Muscat, they all were talking loudly and disturbing me and I was not able to have a comfortable journey because of the disturbance by those passengers.
6. I have ordered the food Omellete with hot dog and it was bad quality and it was smelling badly and there was some water and I returned it fully without eating it.
7. Most important, there was an Irani Lady came from Tehran to Muscat, I believe she could be Oman Air staff and she was sitting on the seat where the air crew s it when the aircraft land and take off and she was talking very loudly during the whole trip and caused lot of disturbance to me. The airhotess in Flight was an Iranian and she was taking to her in Iranian language.
8. During serving of the food, this Iranian lay was talking to the airhostess and kept talking to her even though the staff was working in Persian language.
9. The in charge of the flight was Mr Khalid, which I could remember.
10. I have paid the Business class to Oman Air, for good service, good food and comfortable journey where none of this were provided. I feel it is completely loss of money which Oman Air should compensate for.
11. I am really surprised how the In charge of the flight is allowing this Iranian lady sitting on the jump seat of the crew and kept disturbing the lady crew who was without doubt an Iranian and the Incharge did not take any action to stop the nonsense and he was there standing in the whole flight.

baggage tracing office
Trying to recover my delayed (lost baggage) I am dialling the 24/7 reachable numbers provided on the report, however it seems impossible to get anyone to actually answer the phone. Today I have been calling every 15 minutes from 21:00 until 00:30 on both numbers provided only to find out that no-one actually answers these numbers. For a 24/7 service where, as in my case I am dependant on medication in this luggage it is absolutely unacceptable that phones do not get answered even though it is advertised as a 24/7 reachable service. It concerns file reference MCTWY40791.
