Dear customer services team,
I am writing regarding a delayed/cancelled Oman Air flight.
The judgement of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Tui & others v CAA confirmed the applicability of compensation, as set out in the Sturgeon case. As such, I am seeking compensation under EC Regulation 261/2004 for this flight. The details are as follows:

Based on the above details, I am seeking the fixed compensation as specified in EC 261/2004.
My return flight from Chittagong was on Saturday, 22 July 2017 at 21:30 and I was suppose to arrive in London on Sunday, 23 July at 06:30. But the flight was cancelled and no Oman Air staffs informed me anything. I got to know once I arrived in the airport. Then the flight rescheduled on day after at 08:10 from Chittagong and I reached in London on Sunday on 19:05. Due to this delay I had to bear inconvenience, I had to spent extra time, money and missed an emergency meeting in London. I would like to get the partial refund for the bad service I have received from Oman Air.
I look forward to a full response to this letter within 14 days. If I do not receive a satisfactory response I intend to pursue my complaint further, which could mean taking it to court.

poor communication and poor customer service
We flew with Oman Air recently ( 20th July 2017) from Manchester to Manila via Muscat. The flight from Manila to Muscat was delayed for an hour. When we checked in we were already given boarding passes for our connecting flight ( seat 27E, F G and H were already allocated for us) We were anxious that we might end up missing our connecting flight.
There was no assistance from the crew knowing that we have a connecting flight. We've flown before with other airlines in cases like this which normally they will assist you to go through the connecting flight as a priority. We rushed (literally run) to make our way to the transfer desk and was told that another boarding passes needs to be issued. We managed to board however only to find out that the seats given to us (20 J, K, 20B and 20 E ), were also allocated to other people who were already seated when we arrived. We informed the crew staff and without even asking how we are and what our circumstances ( delayed in our first flight which was not due to our fault), they have upgraded to business class the people who seated already. No apologies caused by their delay!
The most disappointing was that after waiting for our luggage, we were told that our 5 checked in luggage were not actually in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (final destination). Might be delayed? We are hoping that they were not lost. At the moment, we are still waiting to hear - that's how slow their process. The inconvenience and the worry this caused which I'm not sure whether they understand.
We are due to fly with them again for our return flight on 19th August and we are hoping that this incident will not happen again as we don't want it to be our first and last flight with Oman Air!
Also, we are hoping that our 5 luggage can be located be delivered to our nearest local airport soon ( Proper Irregularity Report Ticket No. [protected]).

This is to inform you that I have purchased a ticket for my friend to travel from ccj to ruh on 09.07.2017 through my atm visa card.
For the verification process as requested by oman air I have submitted all the details except the full numbers of my card number, because the full number is confidential and I am not ready to provide due to security reasons.
Moreover there is no logic to ask full card number because only 4 digit card number is only visible on ticket and why instead of these 4 digits oman air asking full card numbers.
If you can be guarantee for my atm card for any type of fraudent in future I am ready to give or else I will not give full card numbers of my atm card.

This with high grievance and disappointment I am writing this mail. I travelled in Oman air with my family from Doh-muscat-kozhikode, flight WY664 and WY291 on June 21.
Unfortunately we haven't received two of my beggage and even until today after 4 days we have no idea regarding it.After calling Oman air office they just tell to wait. My entire family belongings are in the luggage and our eid will be a big disappointment.

i had compensation of $100 from oman air due to the delay of their flight on 17th august 2017. thy provided me with an Email to send my Bank details to that (UK.RES@omanair.com) i did send them on 19th of august as they requested. its been about 8 days now i had no response from them. i have provided the details below

I’m writing in regards to a very distasteful experience which has been started on 17/08/2016 when I travelled from tunisia to oman and the connection flight was at royal jordanian airport on the plane number wy 0414, ticket number e - tkt5121764018367 where I missed my hand luggage at the boarding gate area and before I got into the plane I remember it, so I went back to pick it up, but the oman air station manager, called mrs.: sawsan nimri stopped me, despite the distance between the gate and the plane took only 5 minutes and she threated me, she said : you will be missing your flight and you have to pay for another one and all the staff on that flight certify to that.
Her behaviour as a station manager was really unprofessional and pathetic, she could have waited for only five minutes.
The question is : does she have the right to treat a passenger the way she did?
Anyway, after a long discussion, she promised me to send my bag over so I boarded the plane, 15 minutes later after the flight took off, one of the cabin crew told me that they have found my bag and they will send it on the next flight.
When I got to muscat airport I went straight to the lost and found baggage service and reported the missing bag, but didn’t receive any receipt for the report, I have been told that I don’t have a tag number so they can`t give me a receipt.
I had to go home that night because I was really exhausted, then I came back next morning to find out if my hand luggage has arrived yet, I checked the airport storerooms but didn’t find it.
So I went back to the lost and found baggage service, one of the staff there told me that they have found my hand luggage and they have sent it to oman by a cabin crew, then he gave me a receipt number (2343) to collect my bag from the oman air office located in muscat int`l airport, po, box 58, pc.111
So I went there next day, where I met mr. Nawaf al mawali, the officer central baggage tracing and explained my situation, he asked me to look in the oman air room store there, but didn’t find it, then he told me to write a complaint letter to mr. Masoud al harthy, customer relation department who really helped me a lot.
So I did send the email on 25/9/2016 and received an email back on 26/9/2016, saying that they will review my feedback within 14 working days
Since that date, I did so many attempts to find it, went back and forward to the airport for nearly a week, knowing that i’m working here as a teacher in a government school in al batinah-south, nakhal. And this resulted in frequent absence from school for about one week also wage deduction from my salary beside of all the taxi expenses and problems.
Then on 7/11/2016 I received a call from the officer adnan al barwani, muscat airport security, he told me that they received a report for a lost hand luggage three weeks ago and they have finally found my bag and they will send it to the oman air customer service, then they will call me.
I waited for the call for a week, then finally they called me on 16/11/2016 to collect my suitcase.
So I went in the same day in the evening, I checked my luggage, I have found many things missing, smart samsung camera, lenovo tablet, two gold rings, one gold bracelet, one gold neck chain, one swatch watch, one rado watch, 2 unbranded watches, one pair of gucci sunglasses, one pair of versace sunglasses, I also lost other belongings but they do not have the same sentimental value.
I was really shocked and upset!
I have been told from the customer service staff that my hand luggage has been sent to oman by a cabin crew and he gave it to a staff who has left it in the bureau at the airport for three months.
Now, the question is : who`s responsible for my lost belongings?
I would like to know who responsible for situations similar to mine as I suffer mental and material damage.

I Used Oman Air Services to travel to Salalah to Mumbai (Transit Via Muscat)
I Boarded the Flight at Salalah with three baggage's however while my arrival to Mumbai I was only Able to Find two of those baggage's.
All my luggage net weighed at the Salalah Airport were 5KG extra from the permissable limit on account of which i paid a sum of RO. 37.2 in cash to compensate for the excess weight, I consulted the Oman Air Ground Staff at the Mumbai Airport (Andheri) and duly went through the procedure to file a case for the missing bag, A time Span of 21 days was requested by Authorities to trace my bag and return it back to me in the manner as it was last packed and checked by myself at the time of departure.
My Arrival was on 04 March 2016 and since then it has been 26 days so far and still they are unable to trace my bag, I have already claimed for Financial compensation of the important and valuable commodities and still awaiting a response

oman air is the worst airline in the world . i have travelled by many airlines but never got such a pathetic service and worst crew. this incident happened with me on 30.10.2015 flight no WY 143 from muscat to milan, 1st of all pathetic service they did not gave me meal 1st because i was sleeping, after that when i asked they had no meals left, they arranged few things for me, it felt very dirty. a cabin crew fall water on me and instead of a sorry she said fu*k off ba*tard, senior flight attendant was also not interested to help out, only pilot came to her rescue. i have the crew girls photo, name miss tripti, crew no 93534. i wrote a complaint on board but no response, i filled in online feedback form they responded after 8days . just a mail they will look into matter. complaint no 31367&31437 mailed to all officials of oman air 100's of times, but still very late response, that also they will look. i need a action against my insult, that also without any reason, instead of a sorry i am getting a abuse . oman air and its officials are least bothered about their customers . MY REQUEST TO ALL NEVER USE OMAN AIR . and oman air should shut down its feedback form online and on aircraft when they are least bothered about it . really fedup of complaining it to oman air in a hope they will respond and take a big action against it but they are not interested to here anything.

I traveled via omanair on 6 Nov 2015 from Dubai to Jaipur via flights WY 612 and WY 271. However, when I reached Jaipur, I did not get my bag. I have filed PIR report with your Baggage Services Agents at Jaipur Airport. I have collected baggage on 14 Nov 2015. I asked for compensation for delay. Omanair offered me only 40 USD as compensation and as per their policy(mentioned on link : http://www.omanair.com/en/travel-info/ba..., I am eligible for 20 USD for per kg. It is really frustrating that I have faced mental stress and financial losses for their mistake and after lot of communication just received as 40 USD + 500 indian rupee as compensation. I have sent multiple email to omanair regarding this issue however no luck :(.
Travelling with Oman airline was a great experience From London-Lahore from 24 February to 25th February. but at the end one of my bag was delivered next day which was great inconvenience. I am sure that Oman airline will take care of my greviences. Shahid Niaz

The problem is that customer got released all my garments consignment from airliine on fake b/l because the person to whom goods were consigned was the bank and bannk had returned all my doc. Can any one suggest how to pull oman air into a legal case for troubling customers like me by rescheduling only one journey.
Under pnr # cezwrs & ceyuvx I purchased tickets on 5th september 2011 for our travel to chennai on 20th oct. 2011 and return to kuwait on 12th nov. 2011 via muscat.
But all of a sudden they reschedules only the flight from chennai to muscat and they are not rescheduling the flight from muscat to kuwait which is leaving muscat even before the flight from chennai is landing in muscat (Muscat to kuwait flight is leaving 1 hour earlier before the arrival of chennai flight). They are not giving specific reasons for part journey rescheduling and forcing me to accept a refund. But the toruble is getting a ticket now at the last minute and the 200% hike in the air fare if I wish to take another flight for the same dates.
I want to penalise oman air for the trouble given to me and my family. Can any one suggest a strong hold legal way quickly before the oman air kill me out of stress and I travel with a comfortable feel on 20th october 2011 and return to kuwait on 12th nov. 2011. Mail me at [protected]@gmail.com

I am Mrs Angalina Pereira, residing in UK, was back from India after 6
weeks holidays had a very bad experience at Bangalore airport on 11th June
2011`, i was at the airport 4 hours before time but waited outbside the airport
for the oman air informations to be displayed on the screen, to my bad luck there
wasn't any informations on the screen about oman airways and i was getting
nervous when it was getting late for check in...i went to the main enterence
around 06.40 hrs to enquire, the officer asked me to rush to the oman air
counter for immidiate help as the flight was on time at 07.10 hrs...i went to
request the officer at the office and he carelessly said that he can't do
anything because the gate was closed and to get back to the next flight after
paying the penalty...i understand that part of my mistake but there should be
proper flight details on the screen out side the airport for the passengers to
follow, i have been flying last 16 years and this is the first time i have
missed my flight with silly mistake...the officials were so unhelpful, later i
have to beg for any telephone number so i can re book my ticket for next flight.
was supposed to be at work in Uk on 13th june but i could not make
it because the next flight was on 13th from India to Muscat and to heathrow
London...i had telephone the oman airlines on 11th saturday to re book my
ticke and the lady over the telephone said that my ticket is confirmed and she
will email me the ticket details which i never recieved, she even gave me 2
telephone numbers to contact incase of any problems about the ticket and at the
airport, so i have to call one of the numbers given, [protected] in the early
hours of 13th to confirm my ticket it was around 03 hrs...the man who answered
the phoneMr.Sajith was so irritated by my call and he said that i disturbed his
sleep...any how i went into the airport paid Rs.5498 as a penalty to fly that
day...even on 13th june there wasn't any informations about oman airways
displayed on the out side screen...which i reported at the counter.
I had travelled all the way from coorg district with my old
mother and brother who came to send me off has to stay in a hotel for 2 days,
this caused mI can understand that its my fault that i did not go straight away
e and my family a great physical, mental and financial strain, i have to spend
around Rs.10, 000 to catch the next possible flight. i do understand that it was
my fault that i did no go inside the airport straight away but it was the gave
mistake on your part that nothing about the oman airways flight details were
displayed on the screen to follow.
I hope that you can understand the great stress, loss of time and
money caused by this mistake, i will be ever so greatful if you consider my
request to discipline the system and compensate some of my financial loss, hope
