Omantel Omantel prepaid recharge

I tried to recharge my Omantel prepaid account on my mobile by searching for it online. I found the very first sites like https://oman.phonerefill.shop, https://oman.phonerefill.homes, and https://oman.phonerefill.lol.

I chose the first link and proceeded with the recharge. Strangely, after entering 2 riyals, my account got debited with 748 OMR. This happened because Omantel didn't have proper security measures in place, and they didn't regularly check for duplicate or hacked sites.

I'm asking Omantel to look into this issue and fix it as soon as possible. It's frustrating that Omantel isn't doing enough to prevent such problems, and it's affecting us, the customers. Please look into this matter and refund my amount. Immediate action is needed to block these sites.

Omantel Omantel wifi

My account number for omantel wifi is [protected] and i have done the payment for 2 months due pending on 21/11/2023(today) by my HDFC debit card(Indian card) and rhe amount has been deducted but yet it is not reflected into the billing section. The Omantel representative informed me that it is not recieved and thus he cannot help me in any situation and ask me to contact my HDFC bank.

After this conversation, i have words with my bank as well but they told the payment is done from our end. I am a guest here and will not be available for more than a month and this issue is not resolved nor i am able to use the wifi service please help me out.

Omantel Hayyak prepaid subscription stopping of [protected]

Sir, 1) Iam a Omantel mobile subscriber No-[protected]. I have multiple plans of Hayak through my Mobile app worth RO-4/- and RO 9/- running simultaneously. 2) Iam in India at present. I am unable to unsubscribe// Stop autorenewal from my RO 9/- plan from my mobile app even after repeated attempts in the two months from my mobile. This is leading to unnecessary expense of RO 13 in total (RO4 & RO9) every month. 3) I want to keep the RO 4 plan and stop RO 9 subscription autrenewal. I had conveyed the same on your portal by e mail. I was told some one will be in touch with me but nothing has materialised till date. 4) Kindly help me to stop my RO 9 Hayak prepaid package plan and stop auto renewal of the same. 5) Eagerly waiting for a positive response from your end. Omantel For rewards point

Last year 5 December 2022 I complain for my rewards point till know my problem is not solved. How many times I go in avenue outlet omantel how many time I call in call center but nothing is happen first time in my life is didn't see this kind of service very bad or supeeerr baaaddd omantel taking 1 year to close my complain I pay my bill on time I didn't pay late in my 4 years but I didn't see this big is doings like this if you can't solve my complain why you open call center or outlet I am wasting my time to you go or call to ask him know one is calling me for complian .really very baad service in my life veery supeerr baad 😑 pls if you can't do something tell me don't waste time to other people or money.

Omantel Omantel Home broadband connection

I'm using omantel homebroadband services Since June 2023 . I'm paying 30 rial omani for 50 Mbps.Since day one and I'm only getting 1 or 2 Mbps with very unstable connection. I've been complaining about the same . No one has contacted me from omantel until today and they simply saying that my complaints has been closed due to no reply from me since I didn't get any calls or SMS from omantel. Really I'm fed up with omantel since they're only focused on looting money from customers forcefully with agreements. I've never ever experienced such a worst company in my entire Life.

Omantel subject: request for broadband connection cancellation - account no. [protected]

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally request the cancellation of my Broadband connection with your esteemed company, as I am currently residing in India and unable to be physically present at the installation address for the next few months.

Due to my absence, the account balance has been accumulating through monthly bills, and unfortunately, I am unable to afford the continued usage of this connection. As a result, I kindly request your assistance in processing the cancellation of my account (Account No. [protected]).

Omantel Poor Network coverage

I, George am using omantel 5G router (Account: [protected]) for 100MBPS unlimited plan in Oman Oil Petrol Pump,Oxy Wadilatham Area.

However the network coverage is very poor in this area and hardly can reach speeds of 2-3 Mbps.

We have many others users of Omantel and everyone is facing the same issues. Omantel is totally ignorant to this inspite of numerous complaints made. We are only paying this huge bill bcoz of the contract with Omantel and everyone wants to shift to Ooredoo Wifi since it's 5G has been launched.

We request to please upgrade the network services in this area because ultimately everyone wants to close omantel plan.

Omantel Broadband connection.

I have asked for a broad band connection at home on 15/03/2023. I received an sms saying it will be installed but nobody has come for installation. My reference number is - 600371. When I checked at the Omantel office in city center Muscat they assured me that the work will get done, however it’s been 16 days and still no response.

I re-checked and the Omantel office made a new request for my broadband connection and an engineer contacted me and said he would get back in few minutes, but it’s been 3 days and no response. I would be grateful if you can tell me if your service cannot be provided to me and I can look for other ways to get the home broadband connection. So far the experience has been horrible, but I hope with this all issues can be sorted out and hence forth we can have smooth transactions.

Desired outcome: Please sort out the issue or tell me if it is not possible so that I can look at other alternatives.

Omantel Irresponsible service provider - Omantel

We have been long time customers of Omantel and they are the worst service providers. After several calls from Omantel asking us to change our home internet from ADSL to Fiber optic, on Wednesday ,14 December 2022 we organised for Omantel to send their technicians to come and install the device in our premises. The technician informed us the home internet should be up and running within two hours. We called Omantel customer service and they informed us that they have sent an email to the respective department to look into this and have the connected activated. In about four hours after technician installed the modem and left, the modem started indicating a red light which means loss of signal. We immediately called the technician on his personal number and he informed us to call Omantel once again and also informed us he would come home the next day to check the problem and solve it as he assumed it could be a wiring problem. Next day he did visit and fixed the wiring problem for a cost of OMR 10. Parallely, we have received no call from Omantel to assist us in this matter. The technician for the second time informed us that he has informed Omantel to activate the order and everything has been rectified from his end. After he leaves the house, for the second time the same problem of the red light on the modem occurs. We call him again and he handballs the problem to Omantel. Today has been the fifth day this issue has been unresolved and every single day as we call Omantel all they keep telling us is we have sent an email to the concerned department. The worst service providers. I will be approaching consumer protection regarding this matter because they is nothing by harassment. I also will be changing my home internet service provider soon without a doubt. Please provide assistance in this matter.

Omantel Scam call & messages

Today morning I received a call from [protected] by saying that I won iphone 14 from lulu lucky draw in salalah branch and he said I will receive the message with pin code and that message I received from omantel, but I didn't disclose the pin and he disconnect the phone.

The message is below for your reference:-

هذا الكود سرى ولن يقوم أحد من ممثلي خدمة عملاء شركة الهاتف بطلب الكود منك برجاء عدم مشاركته مع أي شخص حفاظا على سريه بياناتك لتأكيد تسجيل رقم هاتفك المحمول كوسيلة دفع لدى huawei mobile services من فضلك أدخل الكود التالي:

This pin code is strictly confidential and no one from carrier customer care representatives will ask you for it so kindly don't share it with anyone, to confirm registering your mobile number as payment method in huawei mobile services please enter this pin code :

Please check upon this number and when I called back on this no now its switched off

Today morning I received a call from [+968 [protected]] by saying that my SIM will be blocked today. I asked for the reason for which the other guy said you have lot of outstanding. I was surprised as had no outstanding bills and my payments are up to date. Recognizing this as scam said to him that would contact my Omantel friend to check this issue. Don't worry. Immediately the call was cut. Scammers are around please be cautious and do not disclose any details.

Omantel Home broadband

Team, for last 40 + days I have been regularly approaching customer care and shop for shifting my home broadband from Al Khuwair to baushar, line was disconnected same day but never transfer. Even after regularly visiting the team, no single call has been received from omantel team to solve my problem.

On top of this omantel has charged me with monthly bill. and team is forcing me for not to terminate the contract else there would be fine.

So omantel want to solve there incompetence by charging customer and stealing money with some contract which is not followed by omantel itself.

Can we have some 1 responsible from omantel who can not waiste time give proper feedback.

WORST EVER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND SATISFACTION.

Desired outcome: Terminate line and provide compensation for the loss and headache given by incompetent team

Omantel LOS sign in internet’s modam

Hello,

This is Manzer my landline no is [protected]. I m customer of omantel is since 2007. Recently i hv upgrade my internet from broadband to fiber optic. Since i got omantel new modam have regular problems like LOS sign. I hv given my complaint no. 2240986 on 16.10.22 & again complain no. IM 2247128 on 20.10.22.

Till now no body attended. Shall I cancel my internet

Omantel Corrupted Account

Account [protected]

In March this year my bill ([protected]) was OMR 9.238 for landline [protected].

In May this year my bill was OMR 38.346 for landline [protected].

I have not requested a change of landline.

Now I have no working landline or internet.

I stopped paying because the landline was not working and so the account is registered disconnected.

I have raised several complaints ; [protected], SD 1141400, IM 2242200, IM 2247063.

My problem is not tresolved.

Omantel Wrong billing and no resolution

​Dear Omantel Team,​

​It has been a month since I got the internet connection from you. My account number is [protected].

I am being charged 3 OR/month for the Wi-Fi mesh without having given me any wi-fi mesh. I approached your Qurum city center (QCC) customer care office at least 5 times to receive the Wi-Fi mesh, however every time I was told that the person named ‘Fawad’ who will give me the mesh is NOT available and Fawad’s manager will call me later. The call from the manager never came. Later, a QCC agent suggested raising a complaint number by calling 1234. Moreover, when I requested for the 12 month contract offer of 25 OMR / month for the same internet plan I have currently and that was promised by Fawad, the QCC agent asked to first get mesh problem solved and later take offer of the 12 month contract.​

I raised a complaint with your customer care IM2233102 and they closed it without resolving it. When enquired they say I did not pick up the phone. Is this a valid reason to close a ticket without resolution ? I did not receive any call and even if I did, what if I could not pick up as I was in a meeting or driving ? A bare minimum professionalism is expected from companies like Omantel.​

I have raised another complaint now IM2239888 5 days back. I have phone called to your customer c​​are – 1234 person named ‘Khurram’ for the same complaint and talked to customer care lady named Rahma on chat box (via your App) but no solution to the problem till date.​

​Your complete lack of professionalism and accountability in correcting your own mistake timely and apologizing has left me with regret only.​

​​Please tell me what my options are​ ? ​ ​Please correct your mistakes and give me the wife mesh at the earliest.

Omantel Overcharged Unfairly 3 days 30 OMR

I got 15 OMR bronze package.A message was sent stating the data is consumed but not meantioned any addtional charge.For 3 days I got charged 30 OMR it is very unfair to pay this amount.It a total of a wifi monthly charge.I pay all my bill on time and even my phone charge but additional 30 OMR is to much and I did not give any consent for extra data.I am shock my bill is 62 OMR for next month.It is really unfair.A consent need yo be ask if you wish to have additional data with the amount to be paid.I even tried so much to chat to the customer service but that time they did not reply.please humble request to void this amount.It is really to much.3 days only 30 OMR. Omantel Pre-order samsung fold-4 with twice storage offer

Hi, i am omantel platinium tier customer since 2011 with registered 4 moble postpaid and 1 home broadband line, my name is muhammad sakhawat resident id [protected], my contact number [protected].

I have ordered pre-order samsung galaxy fold 4 on dated 12th august 2022 with my package upgrade to alufaq on one of the line under my name and upgrade of line to al ufaq,

i have got the reciept of payment and email for the order number which is # [protected].

I start following omantel helpline after 27 of august but till now there is no information on my order.

I want my order to be delivered as soon as possible as promissed with double storage.

I am really disoppointed.
