Opodo Refund for canceled flight + Opodo subscription that I haven't agreed to

My flight was cancelled on October 17. Since then I have been trying to get my money back. There hasn't been anyone to reach out to.

So I'm asking for the cancelled flight money (€130.30) that I have been charged with to be transefered back to me immediately.

Another issue was the subscription fee of €74.99 that I was charged eventhough I hadn't agreed to initially.

I ask that you transfer all my €205.29 money back ASAP.

Plus cancel the subscription that I never had done before.

On October 17, my flight was cancelled and since then I have been trying to reach and contact Opodo. They are just not contactable nor reachable.

Flight Opodo Ref. #[protected] was cancelled and I was charged €130.30. Since then I have been trying to request and get my money back. NOTHING!

Then, I noticed on my credit card account that I was charged €74.99 for Opodo Prime www.billinfo on November 11th.

I never accepted to be an Opodo Prime member nor did I give you the permission for using my credit card for this purpose.

Reimburse my credit card with €205.29 immediately, plus an admin charge of €25 for causing me additional work.

Please confirm this email and your acting upon it.

Opodo Refund for canceled flight

I am requesting a full refund from OPODO.com due to a flight cancellation (emergency):

My payment on booking (Opodo booking number: [protected] - airline booking number: UFN65F) was ~€235.

The flight was canceled due to the war. Ryanair promises (?) to pay compensation in the amount of ~€167 .

I request to compensate the difference in the amount of ~€70.

Opodo Opodo subscription that is stealing

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm informing you that I have been un-fairly treated and Opodo has stealed money from my account. I have never used this account or ordered any tickets using it.

According to my bank (Swedbank) I have discovered you haves stolen money from my account as described below:

14.11.2021 54,99 eur

14.11.2022 54,99 eur

and just as I have discovered from my bank you also booked 54,99 just some days ago at 20th of November in a sum 54,99 eur that can't be turned back today!

I have never knowingly subscribed to your app or a website and never used it, so it has been done maliciously by your side and so it is unfair to pay for some service I haven't used or even didn't know I was having. I even never created a password for this so called "subscription".

Today I first time using my e-mail account logged on to this site and created a password to get access to it and to unsubscribe from it.

Herefor I insist you will transfer me back the 3 yearly fees you have deducted from my account without my consent and without of my knowledge. Also you end my subscription at once.

If you do not compensate the money you have stole from my, I will do my upmost to spread the information about your maliciously services and terms that are absurd!

Opodo Opodo's failure to refund me the cost of the hotel which they had previously confirmed had been booked and which I had already paid for.

I booked a four night stay in Belfast for my wife and I. I booked the flights and hotel via Opodo. Our holiday was from 29/10/2023 to 02/11/2023. Confirmation was received including a booking reference number. Our flights were fine and all went well until we arrived at the IBIS Hotel in central Belfast. The hotel hadn't received our booking from Opodo. And yet I had paid for the flights and the hotel already. The hotel manager kindly contacted Opodo to explain the issue and I was then told by Opodo that I had to make a booking there and then for the four nights, and pay. As we were literally stood in the hotel reception, I had no choice! The Opodo representative stated that I would get a refund for the new payment and he would send me a 'link' to send in the invoice to get the refund. I've been chasing the refund ever since. I've received very little communication and the emails received seem to be delaying tactics.

Claimed loss: Actual additional hotel bill was £606.00

Desired outcome: Full refund of the additional hotel bill and some financial compensation for the stress and inconvenience.

Opodo Reservation

I have been put on a stopover via Zurich but when I made my booking it was for a nonstop which I definitely require. I have contacted them many times with no results. I have tried contacting Opodo many times. I would like them to put me on another flight on the same date with one of their Star Alliance partners or that I be FULLY refunded.

Opodo Unauthorised charge to my Credit Card

Dear Opodo,

I have tried to contact you by telephone but without success, I have noticed that Opodo have charged my Lloyds Credit Card with £56.65 and a £1.67 transaction charge both payments taken on the 9th November 2023? I have not used Opodo only when I paid for a flight from Gran Canaria to Tenerife on 10th October 2023 where I paid fully for that flight so why you have now charged me a total of £58.32 without even contacting me is baffling. I demand a full refund please asap. If there is someone or a contact number whereby I can speak to someone to resolve this then please let me know.

Opodo Name change on flight ticket/booking

My name is Robert Moelter. I’ve spoken and chatted with agents from Opodo and Virgin Atlantic regarding a name change from Will to William.

Opodo keeps saying Virgin Atlantic won’t allow and is denying the request.

Virgin Atlantic is happy to approve my name change request. They’ve put notes in my booking saying so. I have screen shots of the chats as well.

Why does Opodo keep saying no and blaming Virgin Atlantic? Will we be able to fly on Wednesday?

Opodo Invoice for my flights

I have bought tickets via Opodo, even though there are warnings online, I have requested an invoice cause I need it as soon as possible. There is no invoice or response from them for days. I am really disappointed and cannot believe that they are pulling scams like this. Also, they only have a chat bot that keeps referring you to help page where you can’t find anything. Also when you request invoice only thing that appears is “invoice in process”. Don’t waste time using them, there are much better OTAs

Opodo Cancelled Ryanair Flight

I was booked on a Ryanair flight FR 4468 to Malaga on Sat, 15 Jul

at 16:45.

I received an email from yourselves informing me that the flight was cancelled at 11:06 on the morning of the flight.

I managed to get on a flight the next day after losing a day of my holiday.

I applied for compensation from Ryanair for the cancellation but they tell me they informed you the flight was cancelled on the 19th of May and so I am unable to claim compensation.

Desired outcome: I want to know if what Ryanair is saying is true and if so I want the full compensation that I would have received from Ryanair from you as you have let me down badly.

Opodo Opodo prime

I wish to raise a complaint £69.99 was tried to be withdrawn from my account on the 18th October 2023 my bank stopped the transaction…I have not signed up for prime and I’ve spent hours trying to cancel the membership on Opodo website and it’s impossible for me to cancel it..it’s made completely impossible to contact there customer services directly all that happens is you go round and round in circles on there automated chat system with no prospect of cancelling the prime service I have not asked to join..can you help..this is a company of complete jokers

Opodo Booking system

I made three flight bookings yeaterday, and I am always very careful to check the details.

When I received the confirming email, the months of one booking had been changed: it appears they had reverted to the earliest possible months.

When I contacted Opodo, an hour after making the booking, an automated system told me to contact the airline (Singaore). This I did and ended up having to pay £85 to correct Opodo's mistake.

When I complained formally to Opodo, I got a response saying only that I was changing the dates.

A further complaint resulted in a boilerplate reply completely ignoring the problem with their system.

Desired outcome: Return of my £85.

Opodo Money taken from my account without my consent

My name is Godfrey Ndhlovu and my phone number is [protected] my email; [protected]@hotmail.com I bank with Halifax and just last month I used opodo to book a flight and thats how they got my account details and now three days back without my authorisation they went back to my account and taken £69.99 and this is marked as opodo prime. I I dont even know what is opodo prime. please can you help me and get my money back soonest. this is fraud o theft

Opodo Car hire/ customer service

Romania - 22/09/23 - 25/09/23

We turned up to pick the car up and they initially had no record of us having paid. Once i'd shown proof on my phone they agree to the booking. The company then put lots of pressure on us to take out the extra cover because Romanians don't care and are wreckless. The extra was more than we wanted to pay. We sat and talked about our options and asked about taxis and were were told they are too dangerous here and we couldn't trust them. It was quite scary. The rental place isn't near anything so we felt quite isolated. In the end as it was feeling dodgy and uncomfortable we left.

I booked an uber and on the way to the hotel I reviewed all the documents. I then saw at the bottom of the email I had the extra insurance already and i'd paid for it. We called the rental place straight away to ask them if we could pick up the car the next day. They said no. We said okay we will turn around and come now. 30 mins after we left. They said no we had broken our agreement.

We left it as we didn't want to argue with the intimidating people. I got in contact with Opodo to explain what happened. I received an email from Opodo on the 26th of September asking for a credit card, bank statement and flight details. This felt extremely uncomfortable so I sent them the flight details and asked why they needed the credit card as we didn't even get that far in the process. No hold was taken or card presented. I emailed and asked why the needed this so I could understand before sending it off.

On the 4th of October they replied the same thing. I again asked why. I also asked who they were regulated by so I could raise my concerns about the asking of card details from what I understand is unnecessary as these were not presented. I then chased for an answer on the 9th of October and have still heard nothing.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund and the car company to be looked into. The pressure put on us was very uncomfortable and intimidating in a foreign country.

Opodo Charges for flight change

I needed to travel to Germany, but, within 2 hours, had to change the dates. I had just signed up for Opodo Prime service, and was told that there was a charge of around £25 for a change. I was not informed that I would have to buy a new flight, but only pay the different. I tried to do that change online, as I had once done with another airline, to be told that I had to wait for over 24 hours for them to 'decide' that I could change the flight. During my conversation with the woman helping me, she told me prices of flights. I understood that to mean just as I had had in other cirumstances, to pay the difference and the charge. I told her to book the flight and she did but then, I discovered that I had simply been charged for a new flight. I have been in touch with them. They said they listened to the calls, and that I had understood what they were doing. I asked for the calls to be sent to me. They did so - but did not provide a code so that I could listen. I know exactly how much the flights were the moment I wanted to change, and it would not have added up to the amount they charged me. I feel they were obsfucating and were not being clear and honest. I would not have changed the flight had I been given all of that information BEFORE the fact.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for that 2nd flight.

Opodo Rent a car

Opodo gave me wrong prices.. refuse to refund!

I used opodo to rent a car for 6 day 2 - 8 Oct 2023 from Beirut airport. Before paying I read all the terms and conditions and made sure there was no hidden fees or surprises. At the collection counter the agent told me that I need to pay USD 20.00 extra as "airport tax" I paid because I had no other choice. However I kept all the documents to file a complain and refund the money. I revised the booking voucher again and made sure that it's mentioning that all taxes are included. When I complained opodo representative simply said we can refund you anything it's from the supplier. What the point of making a booking from opodo if you are not going to insure that your customer is getting the right price. What if the supplier asked for a $ 200 extra...opodo won't do anything also.

I travel alot and I use alot of online services these things happens some suppliers try to take advantage of you hen you don't have other options.. but I have got many refunds from many booking sites that protects there customers but apparently oposo doesn't really care.

Opodo Forgery on my bank account or wrong deduction of sek from my debit bank card

You have withdrawn SEK 950 from my Bank Account.

Kindly transfer back the money. I am not travel anywhere and I have not made any flight booking with you.

I did not book or buy any ticket from you. The only time I bought a ticket from you was at Stansted Airport to travel one way to Stockholm. I paid SEK 646 and it shows it has paid on 4th September, 2023. I am surprised that on 7th October, 2023 you deducted SEK 950 from my Bank Account in Sweden. Why? What was that money for? I did not intend to travel again, I am home in Sweden.

I have contacted my Bank about this and they advised me to report this matter to the Police.

If you deducted money from my bank account by mistake, please pay it back immediately so that the matter can be settled.

Opodo Refund Subscription for Opodo Prime £59.99

Opodo Prime took £59.99 out of my bank (processed date 04/10/23) I informed my bank that i did not authorise this that I had cancelled it in 2022. They have instructed me to inform you that there is an on going dispute in process. Therefore once again I would like to cancel any subscriptions fo Opodo Prime found on your system and the money put back into my account. I would also ask that you do not try and take money out of my bank in the futre without my consent. Thank you,
