After I was seated the waiter asked what I would like. I gave him my drink request and my food order. He brought my drink quickly and them my salad. I waited 30 minutes for my steak, at one point the waiter said it would be out shortly. After waiting another 10 minutes I asked to see the manager. She came out and wanted to know what the problem was, I told her waiting 45 minutes for my steak was ridiculous. She said they were busy in back and that I had no idea. There were numerous empty tables around and when I first walked in I was told to sit anywhere. I asked her if she would wait for 45 minutes for her food when she went to a restaurant? Her reply was that she never eats out, she cooks at home. I told her that was an unacceptable answer. During our talk my steak arrived, she asked if it was what I ordered? I told her yes and that I hoped it was cooked correctly and tasted good. She said she hope so too.
She was rude from the start, argumentative and unprofessional. When I asked for my bill, she did comp the steak. The meal was good as was the drink.
I would not recommend this steakhouse to anyone in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Service
Me and my family went to the outback location in Lakeland fl for dinner Saturday night 4/20/19. Everything was going good until the order came, everyone's order was fine expect my 13 oz ribeye I ordered, it was under cooked, I gave them a chance to fix it, it came back burned edges, and still under cooked. They offered to make another one, I agreed. The second steak came perfectly cooked after 30 mins. I asked for my check and requested the steak to be taking off. I paid my bill as I was walking outside the door the kitchen manager shouted a rude jester at me. My wife heard it, I went back in to ask who said it, Jim the kitchen manager couldn't even accept he was the one who shouted it. So we argued for a few minutes he called the cops. I left before they arrived. I would like to speak to someone on this matter, he was very unprofessional, and has no business in a management position.
You deserved that rude gesture. You ate the steak. They fixed the problem so you had no right asking for it to be taken off the bill. If you cannot afford steak do not order it. Like the coward you are you left before the police could arrive. This means you know that you were wrong. He was not professional. You were the one acting unprofessional because you are too cheap to pay for your steak.
You do not understand I had to leave. My wife was trying to get me to leave. But I told her to shut up. But she kept telling me to just let it go and leave. I was not done arguing with him. At this point i was so angry that I slapped my wife across the face and started calling her names. Then he called the cops and I was forced to leave because the would have me arrested for slapping my wife across the face. He made me so angry that I slapped my wife across the face and told her to stop acting like a baby when she cried.
Management and staff
I came in a few days ago and ordered the filet steak and asked for it to be cooked well done. The steak came out and it was basically rare to medium rare. I don't know how it goes from well done to rare, but I was very upset and disgusted by the unprofessionalism of the cooks and staff who tried to handled the situation. On top of that, the wait time for me...

I ordered fried shrimp and side of broccoli and cheese. My server Ryan W forgot to bring cocktail sauce so I asked him could he bring me some out. He waited on TWO new tables before he could get the cocktail sauce and of course those two tables didn't know what they were ordering right off So meanwhile while my food got cold. I feel he should've got me...

On 3/24/19 my husband and i chose to spend our time and money at outback steakhouse. We ordered 2 beverages, 2 appetizers, and 2 bone in ribeye dinners with several add ons and a side of coconut shrimp. We both were full after eating our appetizers and first sides and therefore asked the waiter to please have our meals to go we would just enjoy them at dinner time since it was only around 1pm. He said it was no problem he would take care of it. Before we left i asked the waiter if he made sure everything was in the bag and he assured us it was. We payed for our bill and left.
We get home (which is a good 20min from restaurant put our bag on the counter, put our pj's on and began watching movies. Around 6pm we decide we are hungery and cant wait to eat our dinner. Upon preparing our meals i notice that my husbands steakhouse mac is not in the bag and now all he has to eat is a steak ( which was cooked medium rare and not medium). I was not pleased and decided to call to speak with a manager. Here is what i was told " we are sorry, you can come up and get your side. " i responded by saying we are not right around the corner, i can come and get his side tommorrow so that he has something to eat with his steak? the manager then stated that he couldnt do that it against policy and he could send us a $10 gift card in the mail to accomindate us.
So you bag our stuff incorrectly, we dont have our items to eat our meal, we offer to get it tommorrow and to accomidate us you tell us "we" have to get in our car and drive up today or we have to wait a week for a gift card in the mail". So you meen to tell me, after we "chose" to eat at your establishment verses numerous other steak houses, spend $100, tipped $20 and have to cook our own steak to make it medium and our order was not correct we are offered a $10 gift card which is really $8.00 because the side that was missing was a $2 upcharge. This is an insult to say the least. And horrible customer service if you want someone to continue to support and refer your business.
We have had numerous poor service in the past at outback with wait times & food preperation and havent eaten here in the last 2 years and decided to give it a try again, since this was a new location. So i now ask you "would you ever return to this restaurant or recommend anyone else to go here" after that kind of experience. Most likely not.
The whole experience
On 2/23/19 two friends and myself entered the restaurant and were seated shortly thereafter. We were given menus... That was the first thing... It was about 1 pm. As I scanned the menu I noticed I could not find their combo lunch listed anywhere on it so I asked the waiter why I did not find it. He stated, "oh, you want the lunch menu? (give me a break it...

Arrived at 6:30pm at Sanford, Florida location. Plenty of tables and booths available. Was told there was a 20 minute wait. Asked for a manager, no one available. Hostess was worthless. Too many restaurants in this area to put up with CRAP service. So, I walked out and decided to tell my story to the world so others could avoid a restaurant that obviously has no idea was service means.
Service/food
My wife and I brought our daughter here for her birthday 1/18/2019. As well as her sister and my mother in law. It took over an hour to be seated and we were treated as if we were in the way and a bother, rather than welcomed guests. We finally get a table and since my daughter wanted the special she seen on TV. The waitress acted like we were cheap and put her attention elsewhere when I asked about it. So we end up all getting 4 course meals. All the steaks came out wrong. The waitress didn't bother to have them fixed, said the manager was too busy when I asked for one. Forgot to give us the desserts. It was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had! Won't be back!
Food
(this is my second attempt to cast this complaint) my family and I celebrated my mother's 101 birthday at the outback steakhouse in waldorf maryland on january 5 2019. (it was about 14 to 20 of us). I ordered a special which consisted of 2 crab cakes, 1 lobster tail and grilled shrimp. The shrimp were spicy, the crab cakes were not crab cakes the only edible thing was the lobster tail. After speaking to other family members they had similar complaints. I spoke to the manager and his answer was "we get a lot of complaints about the crab cakes". I am so sorry we picked outback for the celebration.

I went to dinner by myself, for my birthday, at outback steakhouse, # 3917, on january 15, 2019. My bill total was $ 21.18, and I did not receive any rewards. It was outback steakhouse # 3917. This was my first dinner, after I had signed up for the rewards. I even gave my phone number to the waitress, who was leticia b (#441). I checked my reward balance...

I drove up for curbside at OUTBACK within about 3 minutes a girl came out with my bag of food. It totaled 35.18 I proceeded to hand her a $4 dollar coupon that I got in the mail & I showed her a $10 promotional gift card that was on my phone. She then took my coupon, took my phone and my credit card and disappeared for at least 15 minutes. I wait in my car...

We have always been loyal customers of our local Outback in Southern Pines NC and have never posted a negative review but felt we needed to today. We visited around 3:30 pm before the real rush time and found the following conditions to not be up to par. First the bathroom facilities were not clean and smelled horrible as well as the paper towel dispensers not working in the men's bathroom. After ordering, we had to ask for bread instead of it being brought to the table automatically, and then when the salads arrived, there were no croutons. We asked a waitress and she said she would bring them and never did. Bread was tough when it was brought out. Hate to see this Outback get run down!
Where in Canada can the prepaid MasterCard be used ?
Well, one way to avoid this is to cook your meals at home. It takes one person to get feces all over a public toilet, maybe the restaurant staff didnt know . I shudder imagine the person handling my food is scrubbing toilets and underpaid . I cook my own food and avoid restaurants like the plague .
Baby back ribs and ribeye steak
I ordered a full rack of ribs and my wife ordered a ribeye steak. The manager told me they were out of full rack ribs and all they had were half rack and the manager told me, since they were out he would let me get them for half of what the full rack cost. In which he didn't. He charged me the full price of the of the full rack of ribs. I didn't pick up on it till I got home and was going over my ticket. It was me wife's birthday and she had ordered a ribeye steak medium. It came out very well done and she could not eat it. So the manager finally comes to table and gladly cooks her another steak. It took 25 minutes to get back and by that time I was through. My wife don't weigh but 85 pounds so she was filled up eating baked potato and broccoli. We got her a Togo box. We didn't get eat at the same time. What we had been looking so forward to since we are seniors and don't dine out that much turned out to be a huge disappointment. We live on a fixed income and forty nine dollars is a lot to us.

I made reservations at outback at 1230pm yesterday for 2 people for 730pm. Am a nurse at Venice hospital worked Christmas Eve and now New Years Day night. Was looking forward to a lobster seafood meal we had planned and we were finally seated and order taken by 9pm and was told they are sold out of lobster... So disappointing when you work 13 hour shifts at Venice Hospital and make reservations ahead of time and can not accommodate the doctor I'm dining with and myself who serve the community and give other customers lobster that came in later as we saw that is horrible indecent respect to us. WE
could not even believe our eyes as we saw you serving others and could not accommodate us as we made our reservation earlier and are medical personnel. VERY DISSAPOINTING experience how your restaurant treats doctors and nurses in the community and caters to other customers and states oh we are sold out of lobster!
Curbside to go
We placed our curbside order to go at the Cedar Rapids Iowa location. The resturaunt was very busy, I asked the server if our order was complete to the ticket (with everything in white foam boxes it's hard for me to tell without opening every box.) Upon arriving home 15 minutes later I found it was only about half correct. The list of what was wrong is below:
- no bread
-Cheese fries not served with any ranch
-Bloom petals served w/o any Bloom Sauce
-Kids chicken No drink and had 9 fries in box
-Adult bloom burger had no toppings just a burger and bun in the box nothing it was to have to make it more than a hamburger
-2nd Adult entree was a menu special had incorrect soup, was missing the desert
We called back in asked for the manager to assist in making things right I gave him the list of what was missing he said he would have it sent to the kitchen and asked how long until
I could return to p/u, I explained it would take me 15 min to get there. Upon arriving back at the resturaunt I was greeted and they said they would have the missing items in just a couple minutes (as it should have been since my other food was at home 15 min away getting cold... 25 minutes later I got the recook items). The items delivered to me were still wrong I went thru the bag and had to send her back to the kitchen for items still... she couldn't get it correct which is frustrating. I attempt to be patient with resturaunt and especially ones that are busy...
Ultimately plain and simple, I paid $56.00 and I didn't get my money's worth... The meal would have cost the same if we were in the resturaunt, and serving half of the food then partially fixing it 35 minutes later would have been totally unacceptable. If providing curbside service is part of your business model and you charge the same for that service/food that you charge in the resturaunt then the quality of food and service should be the same or better. I feel we got less than superior quality food or service even with the "re-cook"
This experience changes my opinion of the resturaunt entirely, if the manager would have expressed his apology for the issues to me when I returned that would have been a start, but we shouldnt have paid 56.00 for this meal... I could have gone ally of places in town and got as good or better service.. Outback is a resturaunt we enjoy because it's special to us.

We were seated & took forever to get our drink order, when we received our drinks I asked for Sweet/Low & never got it until I asked another waitress after our food came. I got a salad with my meal & when we received it I had to send back because I went to put salt on it & liquid came from the salt shaker all over my salad so sent that back out & never received it back. Our appetizer came out the same time as our food.
The manager took care of everything but overall the service was horrible
Poor service!
There was long wait for our waitress. After taking our order and waiting at lest 15 + minutes we were able to flag the waitress to again request our drinks. When the drinks finally arrived there was ice in mine which I asked to be delete. After waiting a very long time our main meal was served by our waitress. Then within a few seconds another waiter finally brought us our salads. This is not the way we had planned/ or eat our meas. I do not like eating a salad with my meal thus I didn't finish it. I had asked for A1 steak sauce when ordering my meal. However this didn't come with the meal. I had to ask the waitress again. When I was half way through my side dishes the sauce was served. The food was very good but the wait, timing and repetitive flagging down asking for items that were ordered up front did not make this meal very pleasant. Matter of fact we did not receive the copy of our bill with the survey printed to contact you. We are members of your rewards program and love taking our guests there to eat. This is not way to keep your customers returning.
Location: Outback Steakhouse in Wyomissing, Pa..
PS: The waitress did apologize several times stating that the kitchen people were not following the order she had wrote.
Service
We ordered our appetizer with our drinks shortly after being seated. We where served our salads and waited over 15 minutes before we could get someones attention and let them know we did not have utensils. The appetizer came as we were finishing our meal. I had to ask for it twice. We felt ignored as the waiter paid plenty of attention to a nearby table. This is not the first occurrence of bad service at this location but is certainly the most terrible experience I've had on an anniversary dinner ever.

I have family that we only get together twice a year. We decided to have our gathering at your Outback in princeton WV. Started out fine with the appetizer but I had to flag a different waiter after waiting 15 minutes for one of our drinks. He then came back and said they were.out of what my wife ordered. We received.our meals which was so salty we couldn't eat it. All of the meals except 1 was like that and each was different. A young woman came out claiming to be the manager and ask what the problem was. I tried to explain what was going on and that all.but 1 of the meals was unfit to eat. So she said she would reorder the 4 meals which left 1 of us eating by himself or wait and eat it cold. We have been to that place and ate several times without a problem. I dont know what was going on this particular evening but I have to say that this will make me think twice before eating there again. If I am going to pay 160 dollars for a meal I would expect to at least feel like they cared enough to make it right with us being they ruined 1 of the only 2 times per year I get to see those family members.
Oh and I forgot to mention they tried to charge us for items that we didnt even receive. Just lucky my wife caught it.
