Terrible Customer Service and Delivery Time: My Experience with PACSUN
I had a really bad experience with PACSUN. It took them six whole weeks to deliver my products, and during that time, I had to call customer service multiple times. One day, I was on the phone with them for four hours straight! The customer service representatives were really rude and disrespectful. They would put me on hold for half an hour at a time, pretending to check my order, and this went on for hours. I was so frustrated and angry that I decided I would never buy anything from PACSUN again.
The person I spoke to the most was named Lody. She had a really strong Filipino accent, and I couldn't understand what she was saying half the time. I asked if I could speak to someone else, but she just sent me a survey to fill out instead. The survey had a quote that said "tough times never last but tough people do," which I thought was really inappropriate. I gave her a one-star rating, and then I asked to speak to a supervisor.
Lody kept telling me that the supervisor was busy and putting me on hold. This went on for four hours! I was really worried about when my package was going to arrive, and I kept getting fake emails from FedEx. I didn't know if they were real or not. In the end, I spent $380.30 on my order, and $40 of that was for duties because I'm Canadian. It's not a lot of money, but it's not worth the terrible service I received.
Overall, I would not recommend PACSUN to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and it took them way too long to deliver my products. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but until then, I'll be shopping somewhere else.
Pacsun's Internal System Needs Improvement: A Review
I've been shopping at Pacsun for a while now and never had any problems. But lately, it seems like their system is all messed up. Maybe it's because of COVID, but they really need to pay attention to what's going on. I placed two orders recently, one on May 4th and the other on May 9th. But today, on the 13th, I got an email saying that my May 4th order was canceled because some items were out of stock. But when I checked my account, it still said that my order was processing. I don't understand why it took them over a week to tell me about this.
On my May 9th order, I bought three items. But at 2:30 AM today, I got an email saying that only one item had been shipped out. I clicked on the tracking number through FEDEX, and it said that my order was delivered yesterday. But that's impossible! According to the tracking history, FEDEX received the shipping info from Pacsun at 2:00 PM yesterday in Texas, and it got delivered to California at 3:00 PM. How could that be? I checked my account on Pacsun, and it said the same thing, that it was delivered.
I called customer service, and they said there was nothing they could do because on their records, it shows that it was delivered, and the item is now sold out. I paid through PayPal, so I'm filing a case to at least get my refund. Out of the five items I ordered, I haven't received any of them! :(
I really hope that Pacsun fixes their internal system. It's not right to let people purchase sold-out items, not let them know that their order has been canceled until more than ten days later, and give out bad tracking information that doesn't make any sense. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again.
Disappointing Quality: LA Hearts Tribal Print Pants from Pacsun
So me and my boyfriend went to Pacsun a few months back to get me some summer clothes. After a lot of searching, I found these super cute tribal print jogger-style pants from the LA Hearts brand. They were a bit pricey at $45.00, but my boyfriend bought them for me anyway. Unfortunately, the weather was still too cold to wear them for about two months.
Finally, we went to a friend's gathering and I decided to wear my new pants. After about three to four hours of being there, I went to the bathroom and realized that my pants had ripped all up the crotch and the front! I was so upset that I had to borrow pants from my friend. I thought that maybe the pants ripped because I was dancing and moving around too much. So, I decided to sew them up and try wearing them again a couple of weeks later when we went to the mall. I figured that the mall would be a perfect place to wear them since I wouldn't be doing any strenuous activities.
However, a few hours into being at the mall, a friend of mine told me that my pants were ripped. I looked down at my left leg and saw that my pants had ripped all the way from my knee to the top of my thigh! I had to buy another pair of pants from a different store and wear those for the rest of the day. I was so angry at the terrible quality of these pants. I got the right size, and I wasn't wearing them too small or anything. They ripped due to cheap materials and crappy craftsmanship.
Both me and my boyfriend are extremely displeased that we paid so much for these pants, only for them to rip the two times I got to wear them. I will never buy from Pacsun again. It's just not worth the money if the quality is so poor.

I really enjoy shopping at PACSUN! Their jeans are simply amazing! However, my recent experience with pacsun.com during Black Friday and Cyber Monday was a total disaster. I spent over 12 hours on the phone with customer service representatives located in the Philippines, trying to place my $200 order. Unfortunately, the California corporate office kept rejecting my order due to "security issues."
Despite the efforts of every single person I spoke with at customer service in the Philippines, my order just wouldn't go through. Even the manager, Kevin, tried to place the order on my behalf, but it still didn't work. I don't blame Kevin or any of the customer service representatives in the Philippines. They were all very helpful and tried their best to assist me.
I even managed to find the phone number for the PACSUN.com corporate office in California and spoke with a lovely lady named Burke. She seemed to be the CEO of customer service and oversees the customer service in the Philippines. Burke apologized for the inconvenience and explained that the security department had rejected my order. She even said that I had tried to place the order 10 times in the past 3 days. However, she couldn't let my order go through. She suggested that I visit a local store if I wanted to shop for their jeans.
I was willing to do that, but unfortunately, the stores don't have the same items and deals as the online store. I was really disappointed with the outcome of my experience. I have never written a negative review online before, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I believe that we all make mistakes, and I always try to find a compromise. However, in this case, it seems like PACSUN.com doesn't want me as an online shopper.
I feel like my $200 isn't good enough for them. It's really frustrating because I love their jeans, but I don't want to deal with this kind of hassle again. PacSun's Unacceptable Return Policy: Demanding Personal Information for Returns
So, I went to PacSun to return a shirt that didn't fit my daughter. I had the receipt and all the original tags were still attached to the item. But, SAMANTHA, the employee, told me that I couldn't return it without giving my phone number. I told her that I don't give out my phone number, but she got all mouthy and had a super bad attitude. So, I asked for a manager. You can't deny a return when the customer has a valid receipt, unworn w/tags, and it's within the stated time frame just because they won't give their number (what if I didn't have one...?). It's not legal in CA to require a phone number for a return because it's not a valid form of ID. The male manager did eventually do the return, but he was rude and argumentative too. These employees acted like complete bottom dwellers and clearly have no concerns about being polite or customer retention. I believe they were both in management which speaks volumes about PacSun operating standards. Customers should be warned that such a policy of asking for your phone number is solely for personal data collection purposes. They sell it to multiple 3rd parties where it is combined with other identifying information on you that can be used for a plethora of nefarious purposes. Companies engaging in such practices AND hiring people who behave as if they've just left prison and are re-entering society, is a perfect recipe for going out of business... and they deserve to. Pacsun filed bankruptcy for the THIRD time in 2016. Since they're uneducated about the most basic customer service concepts, it won't be long before they're out of business for good.
Disappointing Black Friday Experience at Pacsun: Employees Uninformed and Unhelpful
I gotta say, I was pretty hyped for Black Friday this year. I mean, who doesn't love a good sale, am I right? But let me tell you, my trip to Pacsun on November 25, 2016 left me feeling pretty disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I love Pacsun and all their cool clothes, but the employees just didn't seem to have their act together.
So I walk into the store and I'm handed this little flyer with all the deals on it. There's a BOGO 50% off sale, which sounds pretty sweet, and then there's this deal for "$15 Bodysuits". Now, I'm no expert, but I figured that meant all the bodysuits were on sale for $15, right? So I find this super cute bodysuit that I just have to have, and I ask one of the employees if it's included in the sale. They tell me yes, and I even ask a few more employees just to be sure. They all say yes, so I'm feeling pretty good about my purchase.
But then I go to pay for it and the cashier tells me it's not actually on sale. What the heck, man? I was pretty annoyed, but I still really liked the bodysuit so I bought it anyway. But now that I know I paid full price for it, I'm not so sure it was worth it. And to top it all off, when I tried to return it a few hours later, I was told I couldn't because the system was "too slow" and it was "too busy". Um, excuse me? Other Pacsun stores were still doing returns and exchanges, so why not this one?
I used to be a huge Pacsun fan, but now I'm not so sure. I mean, I get that Black Friday is a busy day and all, but I feel like it's the employees' job to know what's going on with the sales and the products. And when they give me wrong information, it just makes me not want to shop there anymore.

Racial Profiling at PacSun Outlet in Monroe Ohio: My Unpleasant Experience
My family and I recently visited PacSun in Monroe Ohio (outlet). We were in the store for about 2-5 minutes, not sure, but I know for a fact that as soon as we walked in, seconds later, 2 security guards were coming in and eye-balling us specifically. I'm far from stupid, I already know what is going on at this point. They watched our every move. There were two employees, and one of the girls approached us, asked if we needed any help, and that was it. The other employee just watched us. There were only a couple of other people in the store, and the store was not crowded at all at this point. They continued to watch, and it made all of us very uncomfortable and irritated, but we ignored it.
I proceeded to the counter to pay for our things, and the lady said, "Did you find everything okay?" My fiancé said, "Yes, but we didn't look as much as we wanted because you guys called security for some reason to watch us." Then all of a sudden, the other employee comes over to the counter in a very rude and unprofessional manner, clapping her hands with every word and twisting her head being very rude. She said, "I called security because you guys were too loud, and I heard a cuss word." Smdh. I politely, at first, said to her, "Well, we didn't mean to be loud, but you're being very rude and unprofessional, and that's not how you handle anything. For one, there is no need for the head rolling and the clapping of the hands. First thing, we all work, and we damn sure don't have to steal from this store or anywhere else. PSA not all black people steal, not all black people don't work and live off the system. Not all black people are rude. I am a nurse, and I deal with $#*!s daily, but what I will never do is argue with them or speak to them in a rude manner. It's unprofessional. I don't give a damn where you're employed."
We were not rude at all, but the head rolling and hand clapping pissed me the $#*! off, and as it escalated, I used a few of my own choice words. The racial profiling is very real, and it's $#*!in ridiculous. I will never shop there again, oh, and I didn't purchase what I was going to buy either. Their corporate office will hear about this.
Overall, my experience at PacSun was not a pleasant one. The security guards and employees were watching us from the moment we walked in, and it made us feel uncomfortable and irritated. The way the employee at the counter handled the situation was unprofessional and rude. It's disappointing to see that racial profiling is still happening in this day and age. I hope that PacSun takes this incident seriously and takes steps to ensure that it doesn't happen again in the future.

So, I gotta say, I was really hoping for a better experience with PacSun. I've shopped with them before and it was okay, not great, but okay. But then, I waited and waited and waited. I never got any confirmation that my order was being shipped, even though I got like 5-10 emails a day from PacSun. I waited almost two weeks and still nothing. So, I went to another website and ordered two masks for $10 and they shipped and delivered in five days. That's when I realized that PacSun was just terrible at customer service.
I emailed their customer service line and got a fake, scripted response about how COVID-19 was causing major delays in shipping. But then, I got an email saying that my entire order was out of stock and my money would be refunded. I went back to their website and the masks were still there, not sold out, and in my bag again. I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with PACSUN. I placed an order for 5 shirts and 2 pairs of pants on their website about 3 weeks ago, and so far I've only received one shirt. To make matters worse, they've sent me 3 different emails saying that parts of my order are "no longer available" and have been cancelled. Like, why even sell them to me in the first place if they're not available? It's frustrating, to say the least.

Update: So, I finally received another item from PACSUN today. But get this - it wasn't even the right shirt! I ordered an XL black Obey shirt, but I got a women's medium white Reckless shirt instead. I mean, come on. How does a company mess up this badly?

So, I got this text from PacSun and it was like, "Yo, check out this promo/sale - buy one pair of shorts, get TWO free!" I was like, "What?! That's insane!" So, I clicked the link and added three pairs of shorts to my cart, but nothing happened. I was like, "Uh, what's going on here?" So, I opened up a chat and explained the situation to the person on the other end. They told me that the promo had expired, but they would still honor it since the link was still working. I was like, "Okay, cool." But then they told me that I would have to pay the full price and then contact them again once the order shipped to get a refund for the two free pairs of shorts. I was like, "Uh, that's kind of sketchy." But they kept assuring me that everything would be fine and that they had put notes in the system to make sure I wouldn't have any problems. I was like, "Okay, I guess I'll take your word for it." I mean, I had screenshots of everything just in case.

I have the text messages and the chat logs to prove it." But they didn't believe me and said they would have to start an internal investigation. I was like, "Are you kidding me?" So, I called and spoke to someone else and they were finally able to see the notes from the previous person and refunded me for the two free pairs of shorts. I was like, "Finally!"
But seriously, Tony, the chat customer rep, was the worst. He shouldn't be working in customer service if he's just going to call people liars. I was so mad! But at least I got my refund in the end.

They said they could send me an e-gift card today, but I didn't believe them for a second. So, I had them put in a refund for me. But I'm not holding my breath. I bet I won't actually get my refund until pigs fly.
This whole experience has been a total runaround. It's crazy that something as simple as a gift card has turned into such a nightmare. I doubt this will end anytime soon, as I'll probably have to keep calling them to get my actual refund. I really hope other people see this review and don't have to go through the same thing I did. Ordering from PACSUN online is like throwing your money into a fire and then having to call them to put it out. It's a total mess.
Misleading Sale and Unhelpful Staff: My Disappointing Experience at Pacsun
I used to be a really loyal customer at Pacsun. Every time I went there, I would spend over $100 and I even signed up for their new rewards program called my GSOM rewards. When you earn enough points, you get a $5 off coupon. The only reason I shop at Pacsun is because of Brandy Melville. I go there to buy Brandy only and they had an "amazing sale" buy two get three free to lure me in. Now, to my understanding, that's buy two items in the sale section and get three additional items in the sale section free. I've shopped this sale before and never had a problem. However, the kid on the register told me I had too many items. So, I thought to myself, I'm such an idiot and told him to take ONE item off. He then asked me for my rewards name and he couldn't look me up so he said "I'll hook you up". In the end, I bought 7 items with a grand total of $115.
Well, I got home and I only had 6 items in my bag. I immediately texted my friend that worked there and asked why I was missing an item. This item was one of the FREE shirts I was eligible to receive so there would be no problem, right? His manager told me I never paid for it and to basically get screwed. So now, I don't have the shirt I scoured the entire store for, I was told I was WRONG, AND I don't have my reward points. If that kid was going to "hook me up", I would've gotten that shirt back no questions asked lol. It's an absolute rip-off, and I will not spend another dime there. I'm going to save so much money lmao.
Overall, my experience at Pacsun was disappointing. The sale was misleading, and the staff was unhelpful. It's frustrating to spend so much money and not get what you paid for. I hope they improve their customer service and make their sales more clear in the future.
Disappointed with PACSUN's Poor Customer Service and Shipping Time
I recently placed an order on PACSUN's website for a total of $250, with overnight shipping. I signed up for message updates, but unfortunately, I haven't received any updates yet. It's been over a week now, and my order hasn't even been processed by the warehouse. I'm quite disappointed with the service I've received so far. I ordered six pieces of clothing, each costing over $40, and it's taking them this long to process my order. I expected them to have a sense of urgency, especially since they charged me over $40 for a short sleeve shirt and an additional $30+ for overnight shipping.
Compared to other online stores, I don't think I'll be choosing PACSUN as my first choice anymore. Although the clothing they sell is great, it's not worth the wait and the poor customer service. I can safely say that they've lost my business after this order arrives, whenever that may be.
I was under the impression that my package had been received by the warehouse, but it seems like they're not processing it. There's no indication on my tracking that the items need to be shipped from out of the country, which is why I thought it was taking so long. However, there's no reason for it to take weeks to process my order, especially since I paid for overnight shipping.
To make matters worse, there were no warnings on the website about the shipping time. I received text messages from PACSUN encouraging me to buy more from them, even though I haven't received my first order yet. This is bad customer service all around, and I'm quite disappointed with the experience.
Service at Pacsun Red Cliff Mall St George Utah
We were in there shopping around 630 pm on Tuesday Dec 27 th. We walked the entire store looking at stuff while selecting items. There were two young girls hanging out at the cash wrap, one was sitting on the back counter while one was leaning on the front counter. They were both on there cell phones with there heads down. Not once did they acknowledge us are offer to help. 20 min later we had to go to the cash wrap to ask for a fitting room. The young girl glared and rolled her eyes as she had to stop what she was doing on her phone to come open a room. The other girl also never looked up to offer assistance. On the way to the fitting room we where both embarrassed by her choice of attire. She was in sweatpants which where rolled very low with her thong above her pants and a Victoria secret bra for her top garment. Nothing over it. To where her breasts where exposed. I don’t know who manages this store but we were the only ones in there. We were totally disgusted and refused to purchase anything in this store this evening. I would highly Recommend attention be brought to this matter with management policy procedure training.

Over the weekend had very unpleasant experience. They were having a huge sale mix/match. When I was at cashier to pay I was told it had to be specific mix/match. I questioned signs DID not state that in fact signs stated WHOLE STORE. Cashier was not able to over ride so I asked to speak to manager, he called over “Christian”. Manager came appeared to not know how to handle my question, couldn’t answer why it couldn’t be taken care of. States he couldn’t do anything about it. He was rude, unprofessional and the employees were laughing while this was happening. Very unprofessional and poor service. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE! He also refused to give me his name which only proved my point of how unprofessional HE was!

I purchased a suffer vest at Pacsun in Orange Outlet/ The Block on 12/31/2021. I realized it has a little storn seam in the pocket so I went to the store on 01/04/2022 to have an exchange. The cashiers were so mean told me that this is just the inside thing so why do I want to exchange? So because I'm not satisfied with the item, I asked for a return and they said they can't receive a product that can't sell to customer. Because they were so evil so I can't think more but then "why did they sell it for me?" They even threw the receipt in front of me like throwing trash.

I ordered a clothing item 3 weeks ago and to this day it hasn't shipped yet. When I call the company to inquire on the status all they can tell me is that they will escalate it. I was at the Pacsun store on Wednesday July 7th in Columbus (Polaris). I was shopping with my two granddaughters. A young girl came out of the back wearing a pair of blue shorts where the cheeks of her buttocks hung out and when she turned around she had on a mans white Tshirt and no bra and you could see her nipples. I took my granddaughters out immediately. We wont be returning. This is ridiculous.
Desired outcome: Teach your employees to have some respect for your company and themselves. There is a time and a place for everything.
Security tag left on by sales person
May 14, 2021 at PacSun in the block of orange in Orange California. We purchased a sweatshirt and drove all the way home and that night we saw that it had a security tag left on by the store in error. The store was already closed and the sweatshirt was purchased to match a friends sweatshirt bought at the same time to go to Disneyland in two days. The store was closed when we noticed the security tag had been left on and we tried to take it off, not knowing it had Ink in it. We brought it to the store today May 15, 2021 and the sales girl said they couldn't exchange it because we damaged it, even though they neglected to remove it. We called the store back and somebody claiming to be manager said the damage was our fault and never apologized for them neglecting to remove it in the first place. The sweatshirt was about $50 and would not have been damaged if they had checked us out properly. Leaving the store it did not set off any alarms so we did not have a reason be to return inside and get the problem corrected. So between the sales girl being neglectful and the security when leaving the store not functioning properly this caused the damage that we should not be responsible for. I ordered these two items in December after waiting for 3 weeks for PacSun to start shipping one of the items to Canada again. I bought and waited a month and turns out borderfree had lost the package in transit a couple days after it had shipped. Borderfree neglected to tell me this and I finally received my refund yesterday. Then I had to wait another month till that said item started shipping to canada again. Once they were shipping to Canada again, I ordered both items. the items shipped February 3rd and that is the only update I have been given. I have called and emailed and have gotten nothing but I should receive it next Wednesday. I placed this order nearly a month ago. I just would like to know if it has been lost again.

False advertising
They have been sending me emails and i've been seeing ads on facebook saying "buy one get one sitewide" only to find out that when you go to finish your purchase that it's only 30% off my items. Wouldn't that be false advertising? Doesn't sitewide mean sitewide, as in everything? Item specifics doesn't count as "sitewide" that's just a "clearance sale" if you ask me. I wouldn't have even went perusing your site if I would have known that this sale wasn't real.
Terrible service / nationality discrimination/ public health issue
I visited PacSun store in Santa Barbara. As my 12 daughter and I were looking at the items, a store associate approached us and very hostile asked us if we left boba drinks on her countertop. I calmly explained that we just came in and would not bring a drink into the store. Manager then proceeded to tell us that we can't try more than 5 items per visit. I clarified with her she meant 5 items per person, she repeatedely told me that it's per visit assuming that my daughter and I were just one party and I wasn't going to try any clothes. I explained that I did plan to try a few things but definitely not going to over the limit.
As I stood there observing new customers coming in, this associate didn't approach anyone else. She also didn't address people that were incorrectly wearing their masks including her own associate.
My daughter and I felt singled out for unknown reasons. I approached the associate and asked her to speak with her manager, she proceeded to tell me that she was a manager and refused to provide her name. In addition, she told me that my daughter and I were weird justifying poor treatment. I am outraged by this service and would like this store associate to be more professional and also look out for public safety.
Hope this issue can be resolved in the near future, so this will not happen to anyone else.
