catering order
I placed a catering order (Order#[protected]) on June 17th for a June 18th 11am delivery. June 18th at 0900am I discovered the place I had ordered lunch for needed to reschedule it. I called the local Panera Bread (1908 4th St.N St. Petersburg, Fl. 33704)to reschedule for the next day. I spoke with a Melissa (who said she was the manager and wouldn't provide me with her last name) She kept repeating that there is a 4 hour cancellation policy. I understand that there is a policy but I also belief that something could have been done. There was nothing special about the order. It was the standard sandwiches and salads that would be sold throughtout the day. In my line of work, I frequently provide lunches for my customers and use Panera Bread frequently. I will now be reconsidering who I order from because of the lack of customer service I received today. Disappointed.

I ordered a meal from the Evansville, Indiana location on June 13th and it charged be for the meal twice and took it out of my bank account! I called and spoke to the manager and she promised me it meant a failed attempt and that it was only pending and the second charge won't go through; however, it did! I want my money back for the second charge!
menu items
Once a month for the last 2 years, I have eaten at the Panera in The Avenue, Route 120, Marietta, GA with a group of friends. We have had no issues until 2019. Twice, the specialty bread for a sandwich has been unavailable and was substituted without being told. Last month several of us wanted to order the strawberry poppyseed salad, only to be told it was unavailable despite being on the menu. Today, several of us ordered the strawberry poppyseed salad only to be told there were no strawberries. We like Panera and it is conveniently located (in spite of being frozen out by the air conditioning), but we are considering changing our meeting place of the menu items listed are constantly unavailable.
employees
An assistant manager keeps harassing me everyday. Yelling at me about nothing or asking me about my personal life like my relationship. It's getting out of hand and I'm starting to feel very uncomfortable in my work place. He doesn't treat any other employee like this and it's starting to make me feel like I'm being targeted. Also, him asking about my relationship and details of my sex life is quite inappropriate and shouldn't happen in the work place especially since he's my boss. This has been happening for way too long and I'm quite over it. Something needs to be done.

I am, an almost daily, diner at either of your two Sarasota locations. I find The incessant background "noise " being emitted from your speakers, both inside and outside, an assault on my ears.
This auditory invasion makes. conversation difficult
In an otherwise pleasant and welcoming eatery.
It should be noted that Sarasota, Florida is populate, in part, by a large number of senior citizens, many of whom have hearing difficulties and reley on hearing aids...myself one of them.
It is an ongoing battle hear speech clearly without this added background noise which does nothing to enhance the dining experience.,
the message of a customer service member's t-shirt and his (?) manager's response.
We walked into Panera's on the corner of Broughton & Bull Street, in Savannah, GA. on 6/9/19. The customer service person behind the counter was wearing a t-shirt that read "Not today Satan" only "Not" was covered by a name tag with his name Keith on it. So, his shirt then read "Keith today Satan". The shirt offended me and made me feel like I did not want to make a purchase from him. I asked him was he Satan today, thinking that would, maybe, make him aware of how his shirt could be interpreted. His (?) manage stepped in answered, he's Keith today. I think the t-shirt is a horrible representation of what Panera might stand for. Wearing a uniform is much less offensive &/or objective!
Disappointed.
I have taken time out of my very busy schedule to write to Panera's "customer service" on two separate occasions. I neverrrrrrrrrr received a response from either, even though, I must have spent more than 15 minutes on the last form I filled out. Ridiculous. Half didn't even pertain to anything I wanted to address. No response to "Reference [protected]." Why would you assign a reference number an no one follows up. No customer service is sometimes worse than horrible customer service. I was overcharged, ridiculed when I asked for a tray because I was going to be carrying two meals and two drinks. I was informed that the plates the sandwiches were on WERE trays. Really? This was absurd. Panera 3392- Howe Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

refunded my money instead of trying to fix the problem
we go to Panera here in Athens ga at least once a wk, well this past week, we ordered a Med vegie sandwich, I asked to be sure and cut the sandwich and they advised me that we would received 2 sandwiches the same thing I received a week ago really good, on sour dough bread so I said great, well when i received my food we got 1 sandwich cut in half, I ask why we only received this as a week ago we received a total of 2 sandwiches on sour dough bread, I was told must have been a mistake, they called the manager over and I was advised that they would not make it right that the 7.55 was for one sandwich and I told him that are you willing to lose a customer over 7.55 and was advised that he could do nothing but refund my money, what kind of business are you running here, you are willing to lose a customer over this litle amount of money, yes I could have just accepted what I was given but I was not willing to do this as this was not what I have received a week ago, also the side we ordered was a extra pc of bread which looked like it had already been eaten was only about 2 inches long so sad that this store runs like this, I want be back unless amends are made if I dont hear back from you you are living up to te kind of service I received here in Athens, also the tables wew very dirty thank you I await your reply
salad
I ordered this salad, without chicken, oranges or blueberries, like a always do, due to allergies and food restrictions. But this time I barely got anything. Normally they compensate for the items I do not want in my salad, but it looks like they barely put anything in it at all. Not worth my money. I didn't notice until I got home and took it out of the bag but I'm very disappointed.
bacon turkey bravo
This is my very favorite sandwich and I purchase it quite often. On Thursday May 30th 2019 at 3:01 pm I purchased one as well as the orange cranberry Muffin. I had to get it to go since I was in a hurry. Once I got to my destination and opened the bag I saw a sandwich that didn't look like anything I have ever purchased at Panera. My sanwich was made with two end pieces, Not enough turkey, no vinagerette, the bread was stale and the lettuch was wilted. Tomato on one side only. Just Terrible. The bacon was white looking as well. The muffin was fine. Purchased at Panera Bread Cafe 1354 Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 Check #115798

sandwich order
The sandwich was a joke. 2 white bread sandwiches with 1 piece of ham and 1/2 a slice of cheese on each with some lettuce. I asked for American cheese instead of Swiss and was up charged $1 and got 1 slice 1/2 a slice on each sandwich. The 1 slice of ham on each sandwich was mostly fat too. Did not eat it and I am very very unhappy. Cost me $8.79+tax my...

I have concerns about the Panera Bread Store on Hwy. 72 in Madison, Alabama. The restaurant has been dirty the last few times I have been there. Today I told the manager that I could not eat in a place so filthy. I should have taken pictures. It was filthy everywhere, dining area, kitchen, etc. I only spent $6.44 and they did not offer to return my money after I did not receive the meal. My Panera Bread member number is [protected]. I thought you should know as I do not intend t return to that particular restaurant. Thanks.

food and customer service
1. Computers for orders did not allow for personal ingredients.
2. Service person did not explain about the bread choices.
3. When I picked up my sandwich my chips were not included. I returned to the server and she just threw chips on counter.
4. The spoon was dirty and the pickle (which I love) looked like it was rescued from the garbage dump.
A second regretful experience at Panera. What is of concern: I went to a Panera in Oak Park, Illinois and then in Chicago and got terrible attitudes. It seems there is a pattern of disgruntled employees which in turn adds up to poor service.

online order
I'm writing this letter to inform you of the horrible service I received on May 11, 2019. I've been going to your store located at 1092 E. Hospitality Lane, Suite A, in San Bernardino, CA and never had a problem but on this particular day, I was blown away. On May 4, 2019, I paid for an online order for 3 bags of scones that I was to take to a Mother's Day Tea. My pickup time was 10:30 am and I arrived at approximately 10:45 am. When I arrived, I noticed my order was not bagged and ready to go. I then made contact with 1 of the employees and the employee told me that they tried to contact me to tell me that my order was not available. The employee went to get the supervisor who offered me something else or a refund. I decided to take something else but it just did not sit well with me. I was VERY disappointed and upset. I still can not understand how, with a week advanced notice, my order was not able to be fulfilled. I've never experienced this type of service from any other Panera and just wanted you to know how this particular facility is doing business. It is completely unacceptable and should be looked into. Thank you
refusal to accommodate a request based on advert on door
This is an unusual situation, and I realize that my assumptions about perks afforded regular customers may be at the heart of this complaint.
I eat something at this Panera two to four times per week. I am known here. Most of the staff is very pleasant. Today, 5/13/19, I visited and saw a sign on the door for a new coffee product that was ground on the premises. So I had an idea: having accidentally bought coffee BEANS instead of ground on special at the grocery yesterday ( they do not have a grinder), I asked the barista if I could bring the beans in to be ground. Accordingly, she posed this question to the manager, who said no.
I spend much money--money I do not have--at this place because the ambience is conducive to reading and writing, and the food is decent if kind of expensive. Never having worked in food service before, I saw no reason for the mgr to shoot me down. Perhaps there is some public health related explanation not immediately obvious to me. If there is, I apologize. That seems valid. However, none was volunteered.
I felt like cancelling my order and walking out. I didn't want to be an arsehole, tho, by causing the entry level staff extra work. But when taken in conjunction with the low key attempt to extort credit card customers to tip the people who take their orders, I was peeved.
I want to know why what seems like a simple, easy to fulfill request was denied. That's all. Since that dreaded and dreadful tip-extortion thing so annoys me, though, I choose to no longer feel like a [censored]ty person when I say 'no'.
tuscan grilled chicken
Re: Panera Bread - Cafe #: 601916. Check # 103438
My husband and I stopped there for late lunch. Enjoyed wonderful soup, but the Tuscan Grilled Chicken sandwich was VERY disappointing. There was hardly any chicken on it.. For $9.79 we expected a nice slice of grilled chicken, instead it was filled with lotsa topping that was overwhelming. Hope this will improve.
Thank you, Mary
3 napa almond chicken salad on bagels and 2 whole grain loafs
Date of incident 5/12/2019
Store: Oxford, Mississippi ..Panera Brad Café 2948
Request for Refund
We ordered 3 Napa Almond Chicken Salad on Bagels and 2 Whole Grain Loafs
The amount of chicken salad on the bagels was pathetic
The amount of chicken salad on the bagels was a mere smear of chicken salad.
We started not to eat them but we were in hurry.
The napa almond chicken salad on bagels were 7.99 each plus tax
Also, we ordered 2 whole grain loafs sliced.
When we got home, the end pieces were not in the loaf.
Obviously, the end pieces were thrown away.
The whole grain loaf was 4.29 plus tax for each
I have eaten there in the past but I am mad.
You pay good money for the product and the product is a joke.
I have a receipt if needed

I am thinking no one cares at Panera, nor reads these comments. I hardly ever see anything positive, and it seems like on going problems. Training needs to improve, obviously. Your product is only as good as the people serving it. Sebring FL store totally sucks. Night shift arguments, friction, always running out of supplies, and it looks like one older lady seems to be doing all the work, while the young punks stand around.
management at lakewood, co, panera
I worked at the Lakewood, CO location and I found the management here to be very unprofessional, biased and bigoted. There was one decent male manager here and for some reason they transferred him to another store. Female manager "K" is inexperienced, cannot listen, and she has her favorites who can do nothing wrong. I always worked hard, loved serving the customers and applied myself in every way. One day I missed a shift, one time, in the several months I worked there and no one called me. I live across the street from the location where I worked. When I went in for my next scheduled shift ready to go, she sent me home and told me it was a Panera rule "straight from the top" that no show, no more job. I simply wrote it down wrong on my calendar. No one called or I would have come right in. I would come in at times when someone did not show and I was called to take their shift. I just don't mind.
Since then a friend of mine who works at Panera in SW Plaza told that it was not true that missing a shift is automatic firing. They have people there who have done the same thing. I was also made aware that other staff at the Lakewood store where I worked also have done this.
Since my firing 2 more longer-termed employees were let go. We are all Hispanic in heritage. Two Hispanic managers at this store were transferred or quit within the last 2 months. The 2 ladies fired within the last 2 weeks are also Hispanic. The favoritism is very blatant here. If you are not Hispanic you can do no wrong. If you are, you can do no right. Sickening
