Horrible service
Horrible service. They will find a way NOT to cover repairs. Even if you have paid 3000.00 for the warranty, like I did. Do NOT use this company. If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would have chosen it.
This is by far a warranty that we will ever purchase
This is by far a warranty that we will ever purchase. My husband's claim was denied and tried to get a refund to get a better warranty elsewhere and they denied my refund stating I had 10 days to do so. No willingness to help. They manager***. was arrogant and smug. It deserves zero stars. I have read nothing but negative reviews on this company so buyer beware
Zero stars!
Zero stars! This is a terrible warranty. Had a claim and had to get vehicle towed. Claim denied as the part was not listed on the contract. Even though this part was integral to the engine and similar in function to the oil pan, it was not covered. The agent did not make any effort to help just kept saying it is not one of the listed parts. Also because the claim was denied, they don't pay for a tow (even the amount they would have covered is only $50). STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY.

Always refuse to pay for cover
I was sold this extended warranty when I bought my 2017 Hyundai Tuscon in late 2021; Being new to all this, I took the highest cover for 48months and some optional items they had on their flier the dealership gave to me. Paid $2,600 or thereabouts. Fastforward 18months or so, two claims (AC hose/ belt issues and AC door actuator) have been sent to them and...

Peoples Choice Bronz Warranty : i paid $3,999 for the warranty not quit 2 years ago. My differential is leaking and has to be replaced. the warranty covers it. Peoples Choice refuses to replace it until it fails. if i drive it the way it is, i am in danger of the differential failing, my back wheels seizing, and having an accident. my warranty is up mid March this year so they figure if they stall the inevidable they won't have to pay.

Denied a claim as they stated that the warranty does not cover certain parts in hidden contract
Denied a claim as they stated that the warranty does not cover certain parts in hidden contract. I was never provided this contract nor did I sign. When I purchased my 2015 *** in September , I was sold this extended warranty contract. The dealership who makes money from these warranties in partnership with PCW, did not tell me it was a limited coverage contract. I was not shown a contract or asked to sign anything. Years later when I went to make my first claim, it was denied and I was then sent the fine print which they are referring to as a contract, but legally is not. It is PCW duty to show clients the fine print within 10 days of purchase. This is deceptive business.

I was approved by People's choice for repairs done to my vehicle
I was approved by People's choice for repairs done to my vehicle. I paid $687.21 USD. They are now offering me $167.00 CAD I bought their platinum extended warranty package that covered the part and labour that I needed. The *** dealership phoned and got their approval to go ahead with the replacement and I would be reimbursed. I paid the bill which was $687.21 USD. The amount they want to give me is $167.00 CAD. This warranty coverage was $3,500.00. They claim that I was over charged when they knew the amount from the phone conversation. This was a very large reputable *** dealership in Florida so their claim is completely unfounded.

Purchasing my car in Kitchener, I was offered a warranty by Peoples Choice Warranty Limited
Purchasing my car in Kitchener, I was offered a warranty by Peoples Choice Warranty Limited. The concern was about the Turbo's durability; without funds for repairs, the warranty would be a safety net. After a mechanic in Stratford assessed the Turbo as failing, a claim was made but denied, as it wasn't engine-related. Post-repairs, while driving, the Turbo failed, risking safety, especially with my newborn in the car. Now, the car sits unused, as I fear inadequate acceleration could lead to an accident.

I am trying to be refunded for a warranty that I was never told I was paying for
I am trying to be refunded for a warranty that I was never told I was paying for. I purchased a 2015 *** from *** automotive on March 13th. I was under the impression the warranty was part of the vehicle purchase and never told I was paying for it. I noticed the vehicle had some emission issues. I then started to review the warranty and noticed I had been charged $1999+tax for the warranty. I've had been in contact with the sales representative from *** who lied to me and said the warranty had to be in place in order to qualify for financing which was not true (***). I've been in contact with *** and they refuse to help remove the warranty. I've been in contact with Mr. from the peoples choice warranty to explain how I have been cheated and lied to by *** and asked for a refund on the warranty. Mr. refused to help and said I have no proof on this matter. I do have proof in email from *** that the warranty was mandatory and I do have confirmation *** from *** stating the warranty was never mandatory. I explained that to M.r *** but he wouldn't listen raised his voice and said he didn't believe me.

The A/C was not working, I initiated the claim to have the repair taken care of as per section 4.9 in my contract, over a month, still no repair
The A/C was not working, I initiated the claim to have the repair taken care of as per section 4.9 in my contract, over a month, still no repair. I purchased a vehicle in late January/early February from *** Motors, the A/C seemed to work as it should, hard to really tell in the cold of winter. At some point the A/C quit so I initiated the repair claim as per the warranty contract I signed when the car was purchased. On June 10th I took the car to *** Motors and paid the $150.00 deductible to *** Motors for the repair as per the agreement in my contract, section 4.9. A refurbished compressor was installed by the mechanic at *** Motors, it did not function, a second compressor was installed by the mechanic at *** motors, again it did not function. I've had to repeatedly travel back and forth the *** Motors in failed attempts to have this repair complete. The last time I was at *** was July 29,. the mechanic said he is unable to fix it as he does not understand what the issue is. I informed *** of Peoples Choice Warranty that the mechanic at *** Motors is unable to complete the repair, *** told me I need to take it back to *** as they are the ones that first worked on it. If the mechanic could not figure it out at the end of July, he isn't going to be able to figure it out in August. I told *** that I need it repaired at a different facility and that I don't want this dragging on longer than the 2 months it has.

Refusing to honour warranty after being provided with documentation of maintenance
Refusing to honour warranty after being provided with documentation of maintenance. Contradicting manufactures specifications. I purchased a 2012 *** on October 1 through *** Finance with 103,592 km. In late November I had an issue with the transfer case. Since then the vehicle has been parked in my garage. It was recently brought to my attention that the transmission is covered under my warranty. I towed my vehicle to a shop on Wednesday April 29 and put in the claim to People's Choice Warranty. Upon towing my vehicle I was asked to provide receipts for my most recent oil changes from PCW which I found strange as I'm aware the transmission has no relation to the oil changes, but I was able to retrieve them and gave them to the mechanic to forward to PCW. I was then contacted by PCW to then provide all of my receipts from the time of purchase. I was able to find a few from 2018 that my mechanic emailed to me. I told PCW that the invoices I sent were what I was able to obtain as I use more than one mechanic and that I felt that was more than enough evidence to show that I maintain my vehicle above and beyond the typical specifications for oil changes. Majority of the receipts show that I have my oil changed approximately every 7,000 km where they suggest every 10,000 km. This however was not enough evidence for PCW and they've refused to honour the warranty. I then reached out to my mechanic and also to *** and they informed me that the manufactures specifications for my make and model vehicle are to have the oil changed once a year or after every 20,000km. They also informed me they do not deal with third party entities such as PCW for this exact reason. My mechanic also reminded me that the oil I use is *** which is full synthetic, it states on the bottle that it is good for every 40,000km. This is all irrelevant considering I do not have an engine problem, the issue with my vehicle is in the transfer case and the frequency of my oil changes does not effect the transmission. I have looked into other customer complaints and have found numerous unsatisfied customers reporting them to the ComplaintsBoard.com. Not to mention the vast number of negative reviews from other PCW customers who've experienced similar if not identical issues who found PCW will not stand behind the warranty they've sold them irrespective of what the particular maintenance issue is. Their answer is always no. There always seems to be some loophole that PCW slips through in order to not to adhere to their terms. I think it's time this company should be held accountable.
