Poor service
I went to Pep to pay my Capfin account and I was assisted by a cashier who was blank about the whole process. She then went and asked her manager for assistance. The manager (Pat) came and was so rude and arrogant while conversing to a solution (of which I came up with options to solve the problem). She honestly does not know anything about customer service and lacks management skills. I had to make means for my account to be paid and spent almost an hour in the store.

In all the time I do my shopping at this specific branch I never had any problems and the service was good. In a stack of one month (21 october 2020 till 21 november 2020) twice an a assistant was very unhelpfull rude and arrogant. He don't know how to talk to their customers. If you can see to this matter I will rely appreciate that and never ever will I made use of the new package system of pep store.

I had a very disappointing and poor service at pep store, on the arrival to the shop I got 2 customers standing by the door because the sanitiser solution was finished by the stand, so we all got in as there was no one refilling it, then one of the employee (Ipeleng) then asked me why im getting in without sanitizing, I explained that the bottle was empty, she started shouting in front of other customers and called me crazy that I entered the shop without sanitizing and why I dont tell them that the sanitizer is finished, why dont the staff do travel paths to ensure that everything is in control because it is not a customer duty to come and fix things

It very dishearten to see such utter bad service from this branch, especially regarding a service which brings a lot of revenue to the franchise.
I first came to pick up a package (d510700266644) on the 28th september 2020, and I was told that my id was not scanning. After I had requested that we try my drivers license (which was denied), it eventually scanned when I refused to leave.
Today (around 16h00-16h15), I wanted to send send the parcel back to midrand pep, but to my surprise I was told that the paxi system was offline, and stopped at the door by a black-african lady wearing black and white at the door.
When I questioned how come the purchase system is working but this particular system being down, I was turned away to try the kwamashu station branch (which I also tried and they confirmed it being working but the queue was too long, hence I came here).
It is very disturbing that we are being dis-serviced by the stores that we try to support, as it is in the township. It seems like they staff are doing us a favour for offering this service. Branches like cornubia and gateway seem to get it right when it comes to service.
Without being sexist, this idea of trying an majority black-female store doesn't seem to be working, as the service levels, mostly in township-based stores, are pathetic, from my observation. Even when you purchase flash/airtime, they have this tendency of splitting the transaction into 2/3 vouchers, which is unethical - as i'm also in sales management and know of this.
I hereby request for management to really have a look at this, as it will affect the bottom line of the store, and the roi of the franchise owner (who I feel sorry for in this case).
Please can I also be contacted when it is "online" and provided will proper service when doing paxi because this is rather becoming a daunting experience to go to this branch.

Money transfer went missing
My nephew sent me money via Money Transfer at Pep Stores in Dannhauser, in KwaZulu Natal. The money was deposited on 22/09/2020 at 14h47. When I went to withdraw the money on 23/09/2020, I discovered that the money has already been redeemed. When he went back to them they told him the money was withdrawn at 14h58 in Gauteng. But the question is who withdrew the money almost 12 minutes later in Gauteng before I could even see the message that he sent to me with the numbers and pin. When he tried to find out how is it possible, the staff there were very rude and threatened him. Can someone investigate this matter and come up with an answer. Pep club competition
Good afternoon.
I'am writting this compaint on behalf of Miss Z. J Galelekile in Cradock, regarding a competition which they say she won that was last year August Pep stores competiton she says.
They sent her to the Absa bank to open an Golden card then she does that. Then went to the store again but they told her to wait until level 1.
22/08/2020 she went there again they told her to open other card there with R20 but eventualy they told her again that they were not yet permited to open those type of cards at the moment. She was very furious about the treatment she got there.
If there is such a thing regarding the Pep club competition she won... please do call her and explain it to her.

I am from Pretoria Silverton PeP store today, Manager (Given) was very unprofessional and rude to me. I was doing a PAXI, when a cashier was busy with me, he just came and ask for a cash send from a cashier without asking me, I had to wait for him to get his cash from the till that the cashier was working from, afre few minutes a guy who collected paxi arrived, he takes a phone while a cashier is still processing my paxi, without asking me to wait.. I asked him, why can't you ask me, I've been here, you distracted a cashier while she's still helping me to give you a cash, I kept quite, now again you just taking a phone while she's still busy with me.. That's very rude. His response was you have to be patient we're receiving. I said to me, can't you atleast ask me.. He continues you have to be patient.

My mom transferred cash to my niece last month but there was an issue with the amount and it escalated into a pin problem.
I was given a customer services number to call of which I gave it to her. We have four times and the agents keep on saying they will send an SMS with a new pin but still with no luck after 4 attempts. how do we resolve this?

PAXI/ PEP STORE stole my parcel. I sent it on the 1st of June and upon delivery at Jubilee Mall at Hamaansraal, Pretoria the parcel was opened and stolen. now there is no one who is willing to help me with that. There are many complaints on stolen parcels and they dont care at all. they dont even respond when I make contact with them and their phones are always unreachable. I hope my email finds you well. I am launching a complaint against Pep Store and Paxi (the agent company that Pep uses to send parcels). I sent my parcel on the 1st of June and on its arrival to the destination at Hammanskral Pep Store on the 16th of June, the parcel was open with nothing inside. On the day of the 26th of may 2020 at about 16h45 me and my wife went to pep in shop-rite checkers pretoria north, where asked the employee if they have a jacket in xxl size, she arrogantly answered if its not there it means we do not have stock. I then took the xl and fit the jacket as that same employee come and pulled the jacket with force from me and shouted I am not allowed to fit the jacket.
I was so shocked and asked but why? And where is the signs? She took me to the fitting rooms were there is 1 sign, but my question was then to her why are there not everywhere signs to read and then I would have know I was not near the fitting rooms to see the sign. She just giggled and laughed and called me stupid. I'm complaining about not being able to layby at pep store anymore
To i went to pep store qwaqwa (free state) branch that is in setsing near shoprite and i asked the lady at the door who is a staff member at pep that if i want to make a lybe of clothes worth R500, how much will i pay.
