I brought my dog in for a bath and shampoo. She was examined and accepted. Her "coat" was pure tan. The day after I picked her up I saw widespread white blotches all over her body and she started to rub herself against outside coarse stucco. My Vet in his report said it was the shampoo. Petsmart claims it was a pre existing condition and won't pay to take her to a dog dermatologist and give her bloodwork. Pathetic!!

Port Coquitlam grooming service ; I'm disgusted by this place ! I will never take my dog to this location . We were today to drop off our dog for grooming and while we were waiting one of the associate just start with cutting this cute dog then for some reason open his mouth not to bite just understand them that he's pain probably they cut the skin or something then this lady start yelling at the dog and used f word ! I just don't trust them anymore I used to take my dog all the time but never again I'll step foot there and make sure everyone knows ! This is animal abuse !

Pet Smart has been my go to grooming salon for the 11-12 years I've had my Babygirl. Sunday 8-18 I made an appointment to have her a bath and cut. She is a small dog little yorkie / CHU mix. One thing I did notice they have her down as a jack russell terrrier and that she is not so when a special was going she did not qualify and I had said she wasn't a jack Russell and I wasn't sure how that got in there. Baby was adopted back in 2008 no where did it say jack Russell, anyways into what happened at my appointment. When I brought her in Sunday she was 30 minutes early they took here in, they said it would be 3 hours to complete her grooming. In more than the 12 years I was never told 3 hours and that they stack appointments to each groomer. Baby always took on or about 1.5 to 2 hrs never 3. The girls were rude. The groomer never ever came out when I picked her up to let me know how she did. Her tail looked crazy weird shaved and her right DIRTY! I ended up paying 51.00 plus tax whic I don't know what I was charged for because I asked for the receipt to be emailed to me and I didn't get it. I usually paid 35-40 for her grooming not 51.00. I had called another area Pet Smart to see if I could get an appointment for a cut because I just did not feel well as I have health issues. That also was shocking I was talked over and again talked to rudely as if my concerns were not heard. At this I'm looking for another groomer because I think Pet Smart has many issues that need to be addressed. My babygirl is my life and I want her experience to be a great relaxing one not full of anxiety.

So this weekend I had a problem with Petsmart, where they called on Friday to confirm my two dogs grooming appointment which was on Saturday. When they called me on Friday I wasnt able to answer the call due to my job having strict rules about Cell phones. So I called Saturday about two hours before my appointment to confirm only to find out that my appointment was cancelled due to not confirming the previous day. Well I proceeded to contact the corporate office and put in a complaint about what they had done. I was contacted a few hours later by the store manager, she asked me what happened and I explained everything only for her to explain that what was done was unacceptable and she proceeded to reschedule me and also offered me a discount for my inconvenience. So I show up to Petsmart on Sunday only to be told that the manager of the grooming salon will be with me, after waiting 10 minutes then she shows up. I felt like i was being targeted as three groomers were just standing there but I had to wait. Then the manager shows up and she;s checking the dogs in and discussing with me what I wanted done to the dogs and it was pretty easy just have them shaved blade #10 . Finally the dogs were checked in and I receive a call that they are ready, I go to the grooming salon and am given the invoice so I can pay while they get the dogs for me. I go to the register to pay and my bill is $95.00, I questioned if my discount for my inconvenience was applied and she stated that it was . I was soo confused and asked for a break down only to be told that all these extra charges were added for special brushing at about $14.00 for each dog. What brushing! I had them shaved. The girl at the register went into the grooming salon and spoke to someone as I waited at the register only to come back and stated that they had taken the brushing fees off. I went home again upset to find out that one of the dogs still had uncut hair around his neck area. Well the end of this story is that I WAS a loyal customer with Petsmart and after this experience I will be taking my dogs elsewhere. I groomed my dogs there, I bought their food there, my fish food and products and I've also had my delivery of the dog food delivered to my home thru their on line door to door service and due to the BAD service received I will take my business elsewhere.

Tina claims to be a dog trainer at one of your locations. She posted this on a rant page on Facebook. While I understand the right of free speech, as someone who's supposed to represent a pet company and help to educate and train animals/their families properly, the disgust surrounding non purebred dogs and pit bulls is shameful. On top of that, using phrases like "what is the attraction to such an animal", "claim a Pitbull can be" and "feeling sorry for the reputation"(as a reason to own) are also offensive and insulting to those trying to give every animal a chance, and pet owners in general, as if the kind of dog you own defines who you are as a pet parent/human being. This makes me not only fearful to bring my dogs around companies that support this kind of slander, but also hurt. It's how you raise an animal, not who or what the animal is that defines them.

Laurie is one of the most UNPROFESSIONAL grooming managers I have ever come into contact with. I'm a frequent customer to the grooming department as well as a frequent shopper at that location. Laurie treated me with the utmost disrespect I have ever been treated with. She should not be treating customers this way if she would like to keep her job. I will NEVER be bringing my dogs or my business anywhere near her ever again. You just lost a customer thanks to her nasty attitude and poor demeanor.

We brought our 3.5 year old Morkie to your store for grooming (bath and a cut) 2 weeks ago. Upon arrival at home we discovered a large cut on her neck. The wound was cleaned but we were never notified of this incident, and no blood was visible in her fur so clearly this was something hidden by the staff. We called the store and were told the manager is off duty but they would pass the information to them. No one ever called. We also went up to the store the general store manager said the grooming supervisor was not there but he would let her know the next day and that grooming supervisor would contact us back. We have not heard from anyone as of this day. This is unacceptable and someone needs to answer for these mistakes. Our dog is not a toy that can be sown together or disregarded. Perhaps your employees are not fit to work with living things.

Well, I am really considering NOT bringing my dog to Petsmart grooming ever again - or doing business with you - period. On June 28, 2019, I requested the Pawdicure - not the Pawdicure PLUS. All they did was the nail trim and the grinding. I checked the grinding after I got home and it wasn't completely done. A few nails were still as they'd just been cut and no grinding... PLUS I asked the gal who did Toby's Pawdicure about the cologne and the bow that was part of the "Pawdicure". She said "it doesn't come with that on the regular Pawdicure". Oh yes, it DOES! It states right there on the sheet on the counter. She just ignored me when I said "oh, but it does!" This is why I have just been getting the $10 nail trim but I thought I'd give it another try with the "Pawdicure". This isn't the FIRST time I've been short-changed with the Pawdicure and each time I've mentioned where is the bow or the bandana? They just ignore me. I'm tired of this - take it off the package if your groomers aren't going to give the customer what is listed. I'm ready to take my boy somewhere else to get his nails done AND maybe I'll just switch to Petco or somewhere else to get pet supplies as well. The Petsmart on 119th Street in Olathe KS isn't the friendliest store and especially not in the grooming area. Most of them in the grooming area have an attitude. Granted they were busy but this has happened even when they aren't. Don't advertise something you aren't willing to give to the customer.

I have to wonder if cheap male beta fish are a loss leader. Daughter bought one, and spent $ on tank, food and a few other accessories. It died less that three weeks later. They gave us another and we purchased water treatment drops, although we did all the right things to ensure water was optimal. No over feeding, water changed properly etc, and this one dead within a week. No more fish from them, and we are stuck with containers of stuff and no pet fish, and a sad child. Will return second fish for refund and hope to get same for unused products.

I purchased Nutro Puppy Chicken & Rice food containers of 24. I received the Puppy Chicken & Vegetables instead. I contacted customer service and was offered a discount to have the Chicken and Rice sent to me to replace the incorrect Chicken & Vegetables.
When I was sent the wrong items a SECOND time, I provided photos and links to prove that I received the wrong items again.
LeShawn from PetSmart insisted that Petsmart had send the Chicken and Rice. Customer service did not even look at my photos or links.
They insisted that their "research" showed that I had received the Chicken and Rice.
So I went to the PetSmart 14 miles away and returned the items for a refund. Terrible Customer Service by the mere fact that they suggested I was not telling the truth. About Puppy food? Really? No.
Do not rely on Customer Service from PetSmart for anything. A trip to the bricks and mortar store is needed.
