Prompt service. Josh was very professional, helpful, and answered all my questions. Did a great job with the work he did. I was a little shocked at how high the price was, but thats not Josh's fault. So in a nutshell Josh was awesome Price a little high But I do recommend emergency plumbers.?

Hot water tank had a leak. Called them at 11:30am, technician came at 12:30 pm, replaced my old water tank in 2.5 hours. Jamie was courteous, professional and did a good job. He laid mats to protect my flooring and cleaned up after himself. I had a positive experience with the water tank replacement.

The Tech I had, John, was wonderful. He was thorough and explained things well. To make the booking was a bit difficult. It seems like they check messages first thing in the morning and at the end of the day. If it was urgent I would go with another company as I was booked two days out with a leak that was getting worse.

I found this company very competent in their follow-up and booking procedure including notification via text to when they arrived, including photo ID of who will be coming in to my home. They were also very knowledgeable as to the problem and their expertise in fixing the problem. Their fee was higher than what I expected but perhaps this is the price for excellent service.

Thank you for coming to our rescue yesterday. Josh and Jamie were great guys to have working in our home. They were professional, quiet, respectful and very obviously knowledgeable. They willingly answered our questions, explained what was going on, did the job they had come to do and did it well. It's too bad that we hadn't known of your company the end of Nov. 2019 when this problem all started and we were trying to get our now ex-plumber to stay with the job.

Happy with the work done by Jamie except that the water pressure to the kitchen sink is lower with the newly installed faucet, causing it to take noticeably longer to fill the sink. Disappointed that I couldn't get done all 3 of the jobs I wanted because the prices quoted to me were just so high. (Really? More than $400 to fix a slow drip in a bathtub faucet ! Promptly received an e-mailed copy of the amount charged to my credit card, but I was also expecting to see an itemized bill that I could print off. Was this an oversight?

We were extremely impressed with Jamie and the service provided to us. In these pandemic times it is even more inconvenient to have work done. So when our kitchen tap began to leak unexpectedly, we found the fastest help was Plumbing & Heating Paramedics who were able to come the same afternoon. Jamie explained exactly what he thought would fix the problem but when the next morning we still had a leak, he returned by noon and replaced the faucet. We appreciate that he tried an inexpensive fix first. It is so refreshing to deal with honest and caring workers and with a company who genuinely cares. Our entire experience with this company from the first phone contact was exceptional. Plumbing & Heating Paramedics are highly recommended.

Water dripping under my kitchen sink. Called 2 plumbers. One said he doesn't believe in garbage disposals so he won't come out. Second plumber said it would be 2 days before he could come out. Plumbing & Heating Paramedics were recommended to me. I called at 4:30 on Thursday and Joshua was there at 11:00 am on Friday. He showed me where the garbage disposal was leaking and had a replacement in his truck. He was courteous, had a good sense of humor, and was professional yet personable. The cost was amazing, he left everything clean and offered to put all the items back under the sink. If you want a great reliable company to get the job done, look no further. Plumbing & Heating Paramedics Review:

I had Kody come to our house and have a look at our tankless water heater as it had a small leak. He came in spent 5 min downstairs and then went back out to his van to do up a "quote". He came back in to give my wife four price options. 1st option was to fix our unit immediately with a NEW PUMP for $1400+. 2nd option was to wait for the supplier to open and save $70 ($1330.00+). 3rd option was to REPLACE OUR UNIT with a lower grade model for $6000+. 4th option was to REPLACE OUR UNIT with a lower grade model AND add a water softener $8000+. Talk about up-selling! It was clear that one could clearly see what part was leaking which apparently is very common for this type of unit. Looking online this part to replace was only $15.00 with very little labor involved. After knowing this information I called him from work asking for a break down of his prices as I was floored by his quotes. He refused to give a break down and said it was an "all in price..." and that's how they quote jobs. Before writing these reviews I called him back to give him a chance to justify his cost but it was the same answer as an "all in price" whatever that means. He went on to say that all these parts needed to be replaced on my unit which was not the case as our unit was working fine with no error codes. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Plumbing & Heating Paramedics.

DO NOT CALL Plumbing & Heating Paramedics. The MOST EXPENSIVE plumbers around. I post this review hoping to save other Calgarians from making the mistake I made in calling Plumbing & Heating Paramedics. I waited on calling a plumber until I had multiple jobs saved up, naively thinking that I would save money over fixing them individually. If I had called another plumber I would have saved money. I booked a service call and they came out and quoted me a price. I thought it was high, but I assumed that they would be comparable and competitive with other plumbers. They weren't. I didn't know how much the parts cost, or how long it was going to take. Their "fixed price" model means that any savings a customer would normally get from having multiple repairs made at one time all goes to the company instead. I wanted 2 sink stoppers replaced and 1 section of copper pipe for my sprinkler system replaced. It took 45 minutes from arrival to the completion of all 3 jobs. 45 MINUTES. I was billed $889.53 (before taxes). Removing $100 for parts from the charge (which I think is generous), that is $789.53 labour for a 45 minute job - that works out to $1,052/hour charge. ONE THOUSAND AND FIFTY-TWO DOLLARS / HOUR. It's not unusual for plumbers to charge $150/hour. If I had called another reputable plumbing company I'm confident I would have saved AT LEAST $500 for these 3 simple repairs - maybe more. I paid the bill, as I had agreed before, but eventually contacted one of the owners to raise my concern that the charge was excessive. The owner was very courteous and friendly, but did not offer a refund once I presented my complaint about how much was charged for a 45 service call. He tried to spin that his plumbers were more expensive because they were better than other plumbers and came prepared. Apparently other plumbers aren't very good and take longer. They also don't come prepared and would charge clients to run around getting supplies and parts. I don't believe this is how other plumbers operate having used other plumbers in the past to fix other issues. Even if it was, and another plumber took 3 hours to complete the job at $150/hour - because they were less competent or prepared - I still would have saved $300. I would NOT recommend contacting Plumbing & Heating Paramedics unless you want to EXCESSIVELY OVERPAY. Any other reputable plumbing company would be able to meet your needs for a much lower cost. That being said, the plumber who showed up was courteous and professional, and the repairs were made as requested. I did approve the charges. Also, the receipt did not break out the individual prices charged for each job, just a lump sum, which I found unusual since the jobs were priced individually.
