I feed my dog a half a can of your High protien dog food. As I was saving the other half, I noticed a white chunk of something in with the food. It also streaked white. My dog was already eating what I put down. When I saw this, I stopped him and threw it out. It smelled fowl, really bad, and my dog is now sick. I'd like to know what this was! It looked like mildew and smelled worse.

Fancy Feast Grilled Chicken is the only cat food my cat will eat. Lately I noticed she would run to her bowl as usual when she heard the top open but she would smell the food and walk away. A few hours later the food was bright red and looked like blood. I checked my cat for blood (none found) and threw the food away. Next several cans turned the same color and she refuses to eat it. I now have a whole case that is apparently bad!

We bought a bag of this dog food last week and began feeding it to our dog. The other day our son showed us a piece of food that had a web attached to it and we thought nothing of it except that he dropped it behind something that had a spider web. Tonight, we went to feed her and found worms crawling around the cup and the food in the bag! His is the first time we have noticed this and will be getting another bag through the store as they feel bad. We will be checking this bag very closely!

My husband and I recently purchased a large bag of the above referenced dog food. I opened the bag and scooped a scoop into my dogs bowl. I noticed small bugs. I then looked in the bag and noticed more bugs. My husband dumped the bag in our storage container and it was infested with these little black bugs. I am not sure how they got there and if it's the manufacturers problem or the grocery store where we bought the food. We have contacted the store and they are resolving the issue and making it right with us. I just wanted to let you all know as well in case there is something going on at the plant where the food is bagged. We love Purina and continue to purchase your dog food but wanted to make you aware of what happened with us.

Modifiez votre emballage ou faites des contenus moins lourds.Je ne suis pas la seule je suis certaine et cela me fait questionner si je me diriges vers une autre marque qui offres un produit similaire mais dans un emballage plus transportable.
J'ai évité le service à la clientèle car je ne parles pas l'anglais mais je souhaites être entendue.Merci

I called purina about 4 months ago asking what would cause my dog to get diarrhea everytime I got to the bottom of the 4 lb bag? The first time it happened I couldn't figure out why my dog got diarrhea that lasted for a day. It was the bottom of that bag so I opened up a new bag ans once again when I got to the bottom of the bag, he got diarrhea for a day. I opened a new bag, the diarrhea went away till the bottom of the bag. I started thinking about this coincidence and it did it with a 4th bag in the same way. I didn't save the 1st bag but had saved the small remains of the others just in case I ran out I would have some to feed my dog till I got to the store. I called their customer service and gave them the codes from the 3 bags I had, told them what I had noticed etc. They sent me a coupon which was nice but I had been more concerned about why diarrhea that went away when I started each new bag. Well, I have bought several bags since that rime with no problems. The last bag I bought was maybe 12 days ago. The dog was very weird about eating it. He wouldn't eat all of it and everyday he would eat less of it. Then one day he wouldn't touch it at all. I thought maybe it was hurting his teeth he was an older dog etc. So I moistened it with water he ate some but left the rest. Well I picked up some wet food and offered him that and he ate it like he was starving to death. Knowing you are not supposed to just switch foods I didn't start just giving him the other food but mixed in some wet with the moistened dry and he basically just ate the wet food out and some of the moisted dry but then started vomiting up mostly the dry food. I went to petsmart to see what I should do. They suggested wet and dry science diet which he wouldn't eat at all. And so it began he wouldn't eat anything. Was drinking lots of water after contiuous vomiting and then wouldn't even drink water. This was all in the last 4 days. Last night I had him put to sleep. He wouldn't eat anything I tried nor drink any water. He wanted to drink but he wouldn't. Just kept vomiting now just bile and still having some diarrhea. He was getting sicker and sicker didn't touch food or water and now my dog is dead. Thinking about the events it all began with the last bag of the Purina little bites. I have the bag and I intend on calling Purina in the morning but I truly believe it was this last bag of dry food that the changes all started to happen.

I always buy the large Dentalife dog 18 pack of chews and over the past few months I have bought at least six bags and three of them and instead of having 18 chews in the bag there were only 17. I have two dogs so they each get one and that is how I realized I was being shorted a chew. How are these chews packaged? Is it human error or machine error? Thanks!

I bought and have been buying purina 9 lives essentials for over 3 years. Last friday I bought a 12pb bag from dollar general in jacksonville illinois on morton avenue. I fed my cats nothing but this and they have been consistently vomiting everyday. This has been going since last friday. I recommended this food to my neighbor and hers have been doing the same thing. She was able to return her two large bags for a different brand however since I buy bags that are large I dump entire bag into my food container and throw bag away.

I have opened two sachets of Salmon cat food today, both had a nasty smell to them, neither of which the cat would go near to eat. I have three other sachets all with the same best before date on them, 06 2020, which I am now very suspicious of. It is only the Salmon that seems to be affected.The food has a whiter than usual gel to it. I have fed Felix for over 20 years never with a problem, so just bringing this to your attention. Hope the next box is better.

Our two cats have been eating the above food for as long as I can remember - they are aged 6. I usually buy the 40 or 44 sachet boxes from Tesco in Burscough, Lancs.
The last box, bar code [protected], has for some reason been rejected by the cats. Each of the four flavours has in turn been tasted and then left uneaten.
Thinking that they may both be off their food at the same time I gave some sachets to cats belonging to a neighbour and some for my son's cats. All reacted in the same negative way as my cats.
Have you changed the recipe for the cat food? If not have I bought a sub-standard batch?
Rather than send a sachet for independent analysis I will wait for a reply from you

My husband and I usually buy Purina Friskies Cat Food for our cats. Our cats have been vomiting recently. We finally figured out the reason why they were vomiting. The cat food was out of date. The bag had March 2018. We returned two bags back to Kroger in Chester, VA. I paid $10.79 per bag plus tax. Out of date merchandise is unacceptable. The date should be placed on the outside of the product and not on the bag where you have to open the bag in order to see it. I tried to reach Purina by phone, but was on hold too long.

I opened a brand new bag of chewnolas for my dog to find live maggots and other live bugs in the bag. This is absurd. I am attaching pictures for you to view. My dog is part of our family. How would I ever serve him this!?! I tried calling the 1 800 number on the back of the bag just to be left on hold for over 10 minutes. I would really like to speak to someone regarding this matter or at least being refunded for my purchase including the tax. I am including the pictures from this product.

Purina friskies tasty treasures with cheese. Box was battered but seemed intact. The cans inside are all dented. I threw out 8 cans before I decided to complain. 2 cans were moldy when I opened them. I don't recall if I purchased at Walmart or also in brick, nj.
I'm not feeding my furbabies this defective product.

I can no longer but your dog good as long as you support The View. Whoopi Goldberg's last tirade against Judge Jeannie is unacceptable. I have been buying Purina dog food for many years but no longer. I can't in good conscience buy products from company's that support that kind of behaviour. I hope that you will consider the kind of show that breeds hate.

On May 8th, 2018 I received an order from Amazon for 2 cases of fancy feast ocean whitefish and tuna canned wet food. Two of the cans I opened had a red substance in it. When I put it in the dish, after an hour or so, the entire dish of food turned red.

I sent an email to your customer service web, and included pics of the tainted food and the identifying info from the case box. I never got an answer back.
So, if I don't get any response. I will be submitting a complaint to the Federal F&D.
There a an incredible number of complaints about the same problem on the internet.

Ceres Solutions in Brazil, Indiana: Our staff and management has been trying are best to sell much more Purina feed over the past couple of years. We have a new customer ordering show feed such as 709, 509, 809 along with some older customers are company sent one of are drivers to your Frankfort, In location to pick up a pallet of 809 show feed and milk replacer but the facility didn't have the feed and as of noon 4/11/2018 we did not have the feed, the customer has been calling for a few days wanting there feed. So I'm asking you should we buy more Kent feed or can Purina get on the ball and act like they care about there partners and customer.

I bought abag of kit n kaboodle cat food from kroger this past week as I always do, yet when I opened the bag there was a smaller sized (not a alley way new york sized) cockroach inside of it. And I have underlying fobia of cockroaches, so yeah it sucked. But never has this happened to me before or my cats can a replacement bag be sent out? Please?

No doubt Purina company is popular all over the world and you can see their ads and commercials everywhere. But to me, they are not the best, unfortunately. Their canned food leaves much to be desired and not recommended for feeding dogs or cats. Due to its available price, you risk the health of your pets.
I used to buy from them too and am not happy about it. Don't buy their garbage-like food for your pets.

Hi this is the second tin I have bought this week for my dog and on both occasions the ring pull has come off the tin without opening it and I then have to use a knife to try and remove the lid without cutting myself. I've never had this problem before. And both tins were bought from the same shop. When I asked to change it I was told I had to contact the manufacturer.
I look forward to receiving a reply from you in the very near future.

I bought this Purina food for my dog and he doesn't want to it that!
If animal doesn't want to eat something that mean that something is not right there.
I checked the ingredients and wasn't surprised. Purina is a terrible, poor quality product, which is not healthy for animals. And last but not least, Purina is a very expensive brand and in my opinion that's terrible that they allow themselves to ask for such big money for their lame quality pet food! Don't buy this brand!
