Reliable Superstore Hidden fees are a big problem at Reliable Superstore

Hidden fees are a big problem at Reliable Superstore. I specifically told them I didn't want any extras, but when I looked at the final price, they had sneaked in an extra $2,800 that I never agreed to. On top of that, I still haven't received my title or anything. I've been calling them almost every day and leaving voicemails, but I've only spoken to a lady once who said it should be coming soon. And if it goes over the 30-day limit, will they pay my late fees? Yeah, right. According to Missouri law, I should have received it within 30 days. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemies. It's so awful to see good, hardworking Americans being scammed like this. I can't even sleep at night thinking about it.

Reliable Superstore I had an appointment at Reliable Superstore to change my oil at 1:30 pm

I had an appointment at Reliable Superstore to change my oil at 1:30 pm. I got there 5 minutes early and informed them that I had 90 minutes. They told me it would take 2.5-3 hours for my vehicle. I explained that I couldn't wait that long because I had another appointment. They responded by saying that there were 50 people ahead of me. I asked if they had overbooked, but they said that's just how it is. It's frustrating because I made an appointment. The customer service is really bad. The last time I went there, I waited 3 hours for a tire rotation. That's why I'm now at the Buick dealership getting my oil changed. I'm fed up with the excuse of not having enough staff to provide good service.

Reliable Superstore If there was a negative star choice I would select it

If there was a negative star choice I would select it. I went in for routine oil change (purchased vehicle new there in 2013 so have consistently kept up maintenance at dealerships). I was told I needed rear & front brake pads replaced and since I would not agree to have it done right then, I had to sign a liability waiver. Took vehicle elsewhere & mechanics showed me the pads. Of which I have 20% life left on front & 70% remaining life on rear. This is NOT the first time they have tried to get me to do repairs, maintenance not needed. I realize dealerships make their $ on extended warranties, service & financing but trying to con customers is unacceptable. I dont know if this is a Toyota practice nationwide but I will no longer be getting maintenance there & the last 2 vehicles I purchased were Toyota but I will definitely reconsider that on next purchase! I definitely wont be coming back to this location! ?

Reliable Superstore My review is based on the new truck I bought from them in 2019

My review is based on the new truck I bought from them in 2019. There was a recall on it and I scheduled a service visit on 4/25/22 to fix the recall. I had an issue with the sunroof and I had an extended warranty. They said they would fix it after the recall. They said it would take 1-2 days for the recall and then another 1-2 days for the sunroof, but they could probably finish it all in two days. They gave me a rental vehicle. I called them about my truck and left them voicemails. I want to know what's happening with my truck. I spoke to the service manager on 4/28 and he said some parts hadn't arrived. He said if the parts come in on Friday, they would finish it. I called on 5/2 and the service manager hasn't called me back. The secretary said my truck would be done. My truck isn't done. I called on 5/4 and they haven't called me back. I have to pay for a rental and I shouldn't have to pay if they won't tell me what's happening. They need to improve their customer service and contact people.

Reliable Superstore I bought a used 2014 Rav4 in March 2022 from Reliable Superstore

I bought a used 2014 Rav4 in March 2022 from Reliable Superstore. The car was in terrible condition when I went to see it. The dealer didn't even bother to clean up the trash and leftover food from the previous owner. I had a list of things that needed fixing or checking, like the broken glove box, headlights that needed polishing, fluid changes, and servicing the sealed transmission. I also wanted a picture of the transmission fluid since I couldn't check it myself. Lastly, I asked for a proper detail. Any decent used car dealer should have taken care of these things before putting the car up for sale.

When I went to pick up the car, I asked the dealer if everything on my list had been taken care of. He assured me that it had, saying he had gone over the car twice to make sure. However, the detail job was terrible. The person who polished the headlights actually damaged the paint on the bumper. The glove box still wouldn't open, and the key was still broken. When I asked about the transmission fluid, the salesman said he couldn't take a picture and refused to give me any information about its condition, claiming it wasn't his responsibility. The sales manager had the car detailed again, but it took three weeks to get the key fixed. When I brought the car in to have the glove box replaced, the technician broke the environmental controls.

Six months later, the transmission failed. I took it to a shop, and they documented that the fluid hadn't been changed or serviced. It's clear that this dealer just rushed to flip a bad car and sell it to me. They made false promises and statements that they shouldn't have. The manager himself admitted to this. All they did was try to sell the car as quickly as possible. It took 2.5 weeks to get a response about the transmission, and when they finally got back to me, they said they would look into doing something "in good faith." But it seems like there's no good faith at all because they won't help with a replacement.

Reliable Superstore I bought a 2021 Toyota from Reliable Superstore on 10/14

I bought a 2021 Toyota from Reliable Superstore on 10/14. I've been waiting for Customer Relations to call me back before writing this review, but after 14 days of them refusing to contact me, I've decided to go ahead. Everything was fine until the finance guy got involved. I believe in Extended Warranties, so I guess that made me an easy target. The first thing I told him was that I wasn't interested in the paint protection. This gave him a heads up on how to proceed with his deceptive tactics. He focused on the MPP (a third-party, not Toyota) Maintenance Plan, which they conveniently packaged with a "club" add-on that supposedly protects you from key loss, windshield damage, dings, and tire repairs. They only mention that it's for 3 years, not the 96 month/100,000 mile warranty they're trying to sell you on. They also conveniently forget to mention that the "club" will be billed separately for $1536.00. They also fail to mention that the paint protection will be billed separately for $1203.00. And of course, there's the real Extended Warranty, which costs $3160.00. I only found out about this breakdown of costs after I had already signed the deal. I know, my bad. When I asked him about the cost of the Extended Warranty before signing anything, he told me to wait until we see what finance rate he can get for me. When I saw the offer from his "manager" with a strange 66 month payoff schedule, I felt pressured to sign. I'm ready to accept any insults thrown at me now. I should have read every paper in front of me. My bad. But when I discovered the ZAKTEK paint protection on the itemized paper, I went back to let them know that I didn't want it and it wasn't on the car (you could feel that there was nothing on the fresh paint, and they didn't have time to do it). They told me that I had to take all three items and couldn't just choose one or the other. That's a lie. When I called the third-party Warranty company (MPP), they told me that I didn't have to take all three. In fact, I could get my money back on any one of them except the paint protection (which I did, of course). But even though I'm still waiting for that money to show up in my Toyota Finance account, I've been wondering if they can really force customers to take all three. That's the phone call I'm waiting for. Lastly, buyers beware! The real Toyota Extended Warranty for 8 years and 100,000 miles can be purchased from Midwest Toyota (Kansas) for around $1,100.00 (ask for ***). Don't fall for that third-party nonsense. And be advised that they will lie to you and won't feel any pressure from Toyota Corporate to return your calls or work with you when you have a complaint.

Reliable Superstore I took my car to Reliable Superstore, the place where I bought it, to fix a leaky windshield

I took my car to Reliable Superstore, the place where I bought it, to fix a leaky windshield. The service guy said it would be ready that afternoon and said it was leaking. They called me later to say their mechanic broke the windshield and it needed replacing. Four days later, I got my car back and it cost a lot. They wanted me to pay for the broken windshield! They also lied in their email to me.

Reliable Superstore I just bought 4 new tires from this place

I just bought 4 new tires from this place. When I talked to their person, I asked if there would be any "shop supply charges" for the purchase. The person said "no", because the "environmental shop fees" already covered it, and it was clearly mentioned in the estimate as "included". So, I agreed to buy the tires. But when I went to pay, they added $53.65 for shop supplies, and $28.64 of that was specifically for "shop supply charges" related to the tire purchase.

Reliable Superstore My car was taken to Reliable BMW in Springfield, MO to get a recall fixed on my car

My car was taken to Reliable BMW in Springfield, MO to get a recall fixed on my car. When I dropped it off, there was NOTHING wrong with the screen. But when I picked up the car, the screen was damaged. I confronted the service manager about the damage, and he blamed it on the miles and age of the car. The car has less than 100k miles and is less than 10 years old. When you drop off a car for repair at Reliable BMW, they are supposed to do a walk around and note any noticeable damage. But they didn't mention anything about the screen. They damaged the screen and won't take responsibility for their mistake.

Reliable Superstore I got some work done on my 2011 car at the collision department

I got some work done on my 2011 car at the collision department. They changed a part under the steering wheel. But when I got it back, I noticed that the wipers wouldn't turn off. So, I took it back to the dealer and talked to someone in the service department. They made me pay $164.19 just to figure out the problem and turn off the button. When I complained, they told me to talk to the collision department and maybe they would give me my money back. When I talked to the collision department, the manager was really rude and said no. He made me drive all the way across town just to say no. I think they accidentally turned on that button while they were working on the part, since it's right next to it. They should take responsibility for turning it off and not charge me for it.

Reliable Superstore I bought a used car from Reliable Superstore

I bought a used car from Reliable Superstore. They said they would tint the windows, but they hired another company to do it. When I got the car back, the rear defrost lines were pulled off the windows. I've been talking to the sales people, sales manager, and the subcontracted company, but nobody wants to take responsibility. They just keep blaming each other. It's going to cost me at least $400 to replace the rear window and another $200 to tint it again. This has been the worst car buying experience ever. They're so irresponsible and dishonest with their sales tactics. All I want is for the car to be in the condition they promised. I shouldn't have had to contact the subcontractor they hired to do their job. And to make things worse, they were supposed to buff the whole car but never did. They refused to finish it.

Reliable Superstore I bought a Rav4 with cash from Reliable Superstore

I bought a Rav4 with cash from Reliable Superstore. The car was new, so most of the moving parts should be under warranty. The sunroof leaked, so I contacted them and took it in. This problem caused other issues, but they said it wasn't covered. Even though I was told I had a 3-year warranty when I bought it and I took it back to them before the 3 years were up. I paid to fix the problem, but it happened again and caused more damage. I called many times to talk to them before going back and getting it fixed correctly without me paying again, but they wouldn't answer. When I did show up, they said I should have called first because they couldn't fit me in. I've been trying to resolve this for over a year. I don't live in the area, so I want them to pay another dealer to fix it.

Reliable Superstore I bought a new 2020 RAV4 on September 16

I bought a new 2020 RAV4 on September 16. The guy named Adil at Reliable Superstore said he would give me the paperwork for registration and the warranty I bought by the 18th. But I still haven't got the paperwork and Adil has been acting dismissive and rude about it. I'm worried because I only have 30 days to register my car and time is running out. Also, I want the documentation for the warranty since it added more than $2700 to my car loan. I have proof that the dealership got paid and got the title for my old car from ***. I also have a letter from *** saying that they have 15 days from September 23rd to send me the title. I'm almost done with my federal employment application and I really don't need any trouble for not registering my car when I didn't get the stuff I needed. I appreciate your help. Thanks

Reliable Superstore I bought a truck on January 15, 2022 from Reliable Toyota and put $5800.00 down and was told it was approved with amounts and payment schedule!

I bought a truck on January 15, 2022 from Reliable Toyota and put $5800.00 down and was told it was approved with amounts and payment schedule! I signed a contract. 15 days later after the dealership sent me the title with my name on the back to get it registered in MO. The dealership calls and states the loan did not go through and they want the truck back remind you 25 days later! I called the finance company and they told me they were only waiting on a verbal verification from my boss which they received. I was told this by 4 different people at the bank. I went to the dealership and told them I spoke to the bank and the GM told us "oh really"...an hour later comes out on the phone with "supposedly" the bank stating they did not catch a descrripency till now! I could keep the truck with a cosigner (whether it was a neighbor, family member or friend) or more money down! I have already had some personal upgrades made to the truck. Why did it take 25 days to decide this and why was I allowed to drive this truck for almost a month? Meanwhile, since this dealership also ran my credit several times and lowered my credit score.

Reliable Superstore On 6/28/22 my wife took our 2022 Prius to Reliable for its first service and encountered issues.

On 6/28/22 my wife took our 2022 Prius into Reliable for its first service. It had 2,643 miles on it. When returned, the right front hub cap's center was missing. They claimed it was already like that, which is false. I had washed the car on 6/19 and it was intact. They likely damaged it during tire service. They charged $155.65. After failing to reach the Service Manager for a resolution, we contacted the Salesman who sold us the car. He offered to pay for the hub cap, which we refused. We expect Reliable to replace it and cancel the charge on my wife's credit card. If needed, we'll buy a new hub cap from another dealership.

Reliable Superstore In February , I bought a truck from Reliable Superstore

In February , I bought a truck from Reliable Superstore. Since then, I've had some trouble getting work done on it. Sometimes, it takes them up to 4 hours just to do a simple service change. Earlier this year, before my warranty ran out, I brought it in to fix a squeaking sound. They were supposed to take care of it, but the problem persisted. I had to schedule another appointment, and they told me it was a different issue, although it was similar to the original one. They asked me to come back another time to have my truck worked on. This is the fourth time I've had to return to the dealership. I scheduled an appointment for 9 am on 6/15, but they didn't even look at my truck until the next day. It's frustrating because this is my only vehicle, and I rely on it to get around. Reliable Superstore needs to feel some pressure to honor their warranty and service agreements. They make promises and appointments that they can't keep up with. I've talked to service advisors and managers, but no one seems to care about how this business treats its customers. When you spend money on a new car, you expect the dealership and manufacturer to stand behind their commitments, but that's not happening here. I think I'll have to turn to the ComplaintsBoard.com (ComplaintsBoard.com) for help in getting this issue resolved, not just for myself, but for other consumers who are forced to rely on the dealership for service. As of the end of today, my truck still isn't fixed, and I'm left without a vehicle and no way to get around.

Reliable Superstore I bought my car on April 11th from Reliable Toyota Superstore

I bought my car on April 11th from Reliable Toyota Superstore. Before I bought it, my fiance asked if the car had been fully inspected and serviced, and the salesman said yes. We signed the buyer agreement, but only two out of the four problems mentioned were actually taken care of. The oil light came on April 16th, so it doesn't seem like it was fully serviced. I couldn't even go pay my sales tax because I never received my state inspection for the vehicle. I called customer service on 5/22 at 1:12PM, and the lady said she would find it, copy it, and call me. I had to take off work that day, which was difficult for me because of the pandemic. After two hours of not hearing from her, I called back to make sure everything was okay before the DMV closed. I called again on 5/22 at 3:03PM and spoke to an employee who said his boss would look for it and call me back. However, I never received a call back. On Saturday morning, 5/23, I called again and asked to speak to a manager. They transferred me to the sales manager, who said he would try to find my inspection but doubted it wasn't done before the sale (the sticker on my car says March !). He said the other problems would have to be handled by the salesman who made the deal with me, and that he would have him call me on Monday 5/25. It's now 5/27 and I haven't heard from anyone. When I tried to call yesterday, no one answered.

Reliable Superstore I bought a car from Reliable Superstore in June

I bought a car from Reliable Superstore in June . Along with the car, I also bought an extended warranty for any mechanical issues and maintenance (or so I thought). I clearly stated that I wanted the extended warranty for these two things because I didn't want any unexpected expenses after my manufacturer's warranty expired. I explained that I liked having peace of mind, especially since I had recently gone through a divorce and didn't want any surprise expenses. They told me about the extended warranty, and I told them I wanted to buy it. There was one option that included paintless dent repair, but I told them I didn't need that because my ex-husband owned a paintless dent repair company. In fact, I even knew the person who was doing the work for them because he used to work for my ex-husband. So, I was told that I would be getting the mechanical and maintenance warranty.

A year and a half later, I went in for a tire rotation, and they told me it would cost $20. I said no because I had the extended warranty. The person there called and said that I didn't have it, and I should talk to the finance department. So, I did, and they told me that I did have the extended warranty, but it only covered the one thing I specifically said I didn't want it for. No mechanical or maintenance coverage. I want a refund for this false warranty that they sold me.

I also found out after buying the car that it had hail damage, and I was never personally informed about it before purchasing it. Unless they somehow slipped it into the paperwork I signed, it was never discussed with me prior to buying the vehicle. I only found out because my ex-husband noticed the dents that had been repaired, and he could tell that it had been damaged and fixed. Any dealership is supposed to disclose this information to the buyer before selling the vehicle. So now, there are two shady things they did in a single transaction.
