RPI Designs Disappointing Experience with RPI Designs: Delayed Orders and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with RPI Designs. I mean, don't get me wrong, their website looks pretty slick and all, but when it comes down to actually getting your hands on the stuff you ordered, well, let's just say it's not exactly smooth sailing.

So here's the deal: I placed two separate orders with these guys, and both times I was told that it would take about 4-5 weeks for my custom painted parts and hydro carbon fiber parts to be made and delivered. But let me tell you, that was a load of baloney. My first order took a whopping 11 weeks to arrive, and I'm still waiting on my second order, which is now in its 8th week of supposed "processing."

And don't even get me started on their customer service. It's like trying to get blood from a stone to get a hold of these guys. They hardly ever respond to emails, and when you do finally manage to get through to them, all they ever say is that they're experiencing delays. Like, come on, guys, that's not exactly helpful.

Honestly, I regret placing that second order with them. If I had known it was going to be such a hassle, I never would have bothered. And let me tell you, there will not be a third order. I highly recommend that you steer clear of RPI Designs if you're looking to order anything from them. Trust me, it's just not worth the headache.

RPI Designs Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with RPI Designs for C8 Corvette Spoiler

I recently bought a high wing spoiler for my 2021 C8 Corvette from RPI Designs (rpidesigns.com). They told me it would take 5 weeks to paint the product, which was a bit of a wait, but I was excited to get it. After 5 weeks, I contacted them to check on the status and they told me it was in the paint shop. But then, they hung up on me! I tried to contact them again by phone and email, but I didn't get any response. I was really frustrated and didn't know what to do.

Today, I tried calling them again and was hung up on once more as I was leaving a voice mail. I was so fed up with their lack of communication that I decided to contact my bank and dispute the purchase. I hope they can refund me my money soon.

Overall, I would not recommend this company. Their customer service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customers. If you're thinking about buying from them, beware and be prepared for a lot of frustration.

RPI Designs Terrible Customer Service: My Disappointing Experience with RPI Designs

I put in an order with RPI Designs a month ago, and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with the service I've received. I've called their customer service line a bunch of times, but I haven't gotten a single response. It's like they don't even care about their customers!

Finally, after two weeks of trying, I managed to get through to someone in sales. They told me that my order had already shipped and that I should expect it in a few days. But guess what? It's been two weeks since then, and I still haven't received anything.

I tried calling back to speak with a customer service rep, but they wouldn't connect me. I even asked to speak with a supervisor, but they told me that there was only the owner. When I asked to speak with the owner, they straight up told me no. What kind of customer service is that?

Honestly, I haven't seen service this bad in years. I'd even give the US Post Office a higher rating, and we all know how bad they can be. Overall, I'm really disappointed with RPI Designs and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

RPI Designs Average Experience with RPI Designs: Room for Improvement

I recently made a purchase from RPI Designs, and I have to say, my experience was just okay. I ordered a few parts from a third-party vendor, and it took about a week for me to receive my order. However, I also ordered parts from another site that used the same supplier, and those parts arrived three weeks before my RPI order.

One thing that bothered me was that RPI didn't notify me about the status of my order or when it had shipped. I had to keep checking the website to see if there were any updates. And when I did reach out to customer service, their response was lukewarm at best.

Overall, I don't think RPI is a bad vendor, but there is definitely room for improvement. That's why I gave them three stars - it's an average rating, and my experience was just average.

Another issue I had with the website was that it wouldn't save items in my build/wish list, which was frustrating. And when I was browsing the products, I couldn't enlarge the pictures to get a better look.

Lastly, I found it odd that I couldn't see exactly what I had purchased - all I had was an order number. It would have been nice to have a more detailed breakdown of my order.

All in all, I think RPI Designs has some work to do in terms of customer service and website functionality. But if you're willing to be patient and don't mind a few hiccups, they're not a bad option.

RPI Designs Warning: Terrible Customer Service from RPI Designs - A Regretful Experience

I done ordered three things from RPI Designs on May 20, 2021. They sent me an email the next day saying that the things was in their paint shop. It's been 11 weeks and I done got two of the things. I been calling and emailing them for status on the third thing but ain't nobody returning my calls or replying to my emails. Finally, I done got a hold of Jennifer on August 3 and told her all the problems I been having with them not getting back to me. Let me tell you, DO NOT do business with this company, you gonna regret it. They ain't no cheaper than other companies. I done dealt with Corvette Mods and they're great.

RPI Designs Disappointing Customer Service Experience with RPI Designs for Corvette Waterfall Purchase

I recently made a purchase from RPI Designs for a waterfall to add to my Corvette. I was really excited to receive it and couldn't wait to install it. However, I was disappointed to find out that I had not received any response to my multiple emails and voice mails. I was really frustrated and didn't know what to do.

After waiting for 8 long weeks, I finally got in touch with someone on May 28th. They assured me that I would receive my product in the middle of June. But to my dismay, I still hadn't received it by the end of June. I tried to contact customer service again, but no one was responding to my voice mails.

It's been 3 weeks now and I still haven't received my product. I'm really disappointed with the customer service at RPI Designs. It's really frustrating to not be able to get in touch with anyone and not know what's going on with my order. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

RPI Designs Unprofessional Behavior at RPI Designs - Stick with Ecklers for Reliable Service and Parts

I wanted to get some upholstery materials for my Corvette, so I gave RPI Designs a call. The person who answered the phone told me that they only sell premade kits. I was a bit disappointed, but I understood. I decided to call around to other suppliers to see if I could find what I was looking for. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I was unable to find any materials in stock elsewhere.

I decided to give RPI Designs another call to ask about the premade kits. This time, I spoke to a guy named Paul. I started to explain that I wanted to purchase one of their kits, but before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted me and said, "You already called here and I said I couldn't help you." Then, he promptly hung up on me. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked by the unprofessionalism of the situation. I tried calling back, but they wouldn't answer my calls.

In my opinion, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I have never experienced anything like this before. I would recommend that you stick with Ecklers for good service and reliable parts.

RPI Designs Poor Customer Service and Incorrect Product Fit: My Experience with RPI Designs

I recently got myself a C3 Vette about 6 weeks ago and was looking for some parts to upgrade it. I stumbled upon RPI Designs and decided to order a C3 Upper Shifter Boot from them. However, when the product arrived, I was disappointed to find out that it was too big for my car. It wasn't even close to fitting properly. I tried to reach out to their customer service team to ask for a refund, but all I heard was crickets. I was frustrated and didn't know what to do.

Luckily, I had paid through PayPal, so I decided to inquire through them. After some back and forth, RPI Designs finally agreed to refund me for the returned product. However, I was disappointed to find out that they wouldn't pay for the shipping back. I was left with no choice but to pay for the shipping myself.

In my opinion, their customer service is non-existent. I would advise anyone looking for car parts to go somewhere else. I hope I get my money back soon, as I have already sent the part back and won't have anything to show for my $42. If I could give them a minus star rating, I definitely would.

UPDATE: I finally got my money refunded, but I was disappointed to find out that they deducted $4.31 from my refund to cover the shipping cost. It's not a lot of money, but it's the principle of the matter. Overall, I wouldn't recommend RPI Designs to anyone looking for car parts.

RPI Designs Disappointing Customer Service Experience with RPI Designs for Anderson Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid

So, I recently got myself an Anderson Carbon Fiber trunk lid from RPI Designs (rpidesigns.com). The delivery was a bit late, but that's okay, things happen, right? The package arrived with some damage to the cardboard, and the shipper made a note of it. When I took the lid out of the box, I noticed that it was loosely packaged, and unfortunately, the right rear corner had been dropped, which caused some spider cracks on the carbon fiber.

I immediately sent some emails to RPI Designs, but I didn't get any response. I tried calling them, but no one answered. I was starting to get frustrated, but I didn't give up. I sent more emails and made more calls, but still no answer. Finally, after a few days, they responded, but unfortunately, they denied my claim. They said that I got what I ordered, so I should be happy with it.

Honestly, I was really disappointed with their service. I can't remember the last time I had such a bad experience with a supplier. I'm going to try to get a refund through my credit card company, but I'm not sure how that's going to go. I was really looking forward to upgrading my Mustang with more parts from RPI Designs, but now I think I'll have to look for another supplier.

Overall, I think RPI Designs has some work to do when it comes to customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should at least respond to their customers and try to make things right. Hopefully, they'll improve their service in the future, but for now, I can't recommend them to anyone.

RPI Designs Disappointing Engine Cover from RPI Designs for 2020 Mustang GT

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the engine cover I got from RPI Designs for my 2020 Mustang GT. The color coverage was just plain terrible - I mean, I installed it anyway, but after driving the car just twice, the paint started blistering. I sent it back for a repaint, but when I got it back, the paint coverage was still pretty poor. I installed it again, and this time I drove for about 100 miles before opening the hood to find that the paint had blistered yet again. And now, after driving a few hundred more miles, the blistering is just everywhere on the cover. It's so bad that I'm honestly embarrassed to show it off.

I mean, seriously, how hard is it to get this right? I'm just really disappointed with the quality of this product. If you're thinking about buying from RPI Designs, I'd definitely recommend doing your homework first. I wrote a one-star review on their site, but I haven't seen it posted yet. I wrote again recently, and I'll keep checking to see if it gets posted. But honestly, I just wish I had done more research before buying this cover.

RPI Designs Disappointing Experience with RPI Designs: Incorrect Color and Poor Customer Service

I recently had an experience with RPI Designs, also known as Southern Car Parts, and I have to say it wasn't the best. I wish I had read some of the negative reviews before placing my order.

I ordered a Torch Red console cushion, but when it arrived it was Ruby Red (which is more like a Burgundy color). I tried calling and emailing, but didn't get a response until I was told that my order number wasn't in their system. I even sent them a copy of the packing list with my order on it, but still didn't hear back from them. I tried again recently, but haven't had any luck yet. So, if you're thinking of ordering from them, be careful.

To make matters worse, they also charged me for Bose Gold speaker decals that never shipped. I tried to contact them about it, but haven't gotten a response. I did see that they have them listed on eBay, but I didn't order from there. Luckily, I was able to find them from another Corvette parts dealer and received them in just three days.

Overall, my experience with RPI Designs wasn't great. I hope they can improve their customer service and communication in the future.
