This Safeway is located across the street from a retirement community that represents a captive market of elderly. The Safeway is dingy and smells bad - fish, poultry and meat counters in particular. The deli bears special concern; the attendent puts in erroneous prices, only by careful attention can you catch him. The elderly patrons - -too bad, they miss it. Food in the deli is of suspicious age - -try any salad and one will pay the price. Discussion with the manager goes nowhere. He is solicitous, but that's th end of it. He must be aware of the nasty and fraudulent natuire of this store. The reason for my patronizing the store is it is unfortunately convenient. And while I look like a resident of the retirement community -- I happen to be 75 - I am keenly aware of the unpelasant nature of this store
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I would try contacting the corporate office and letting them know what's going on.
