2120 Mt. Rushmore Rd, Rapid City, SD Safeway store. Yesterday (07/23/24) I bought some pop and when I got home, I saw that it was not on sale as I thought. I went back this morning and talked with Kathy and she said I needed to bring in the 4, 12 packs of pop to get a refund. So I went home got the pop and took it back to the store right away (9:27 A.M.). When I got there Suzanne told me she had talked with Kathy and they would not refund the pop. I have been a neighborhood customer for years. But after being treated like this I understand why most people no longer go to this store, as you are treated much better at the big box stores and Amazon.

Desired outcome: Loyal customer, should have just been refunded the difference as it went on sale the next day. As all other stores would have done.

You need to go back to the store and demand to speak with the store manager directly. Make it clear that their inconsistent and unfair treatment is driving away loyal customers like yourself. Don’t let them brush you off — stand firm and insist on getting the refund you deserve. If they don’t respond appropriately, make sure to share your experience widely. You deserve to be treated with respect and fairness, and they need to know that you won’t back down until they make this right.
