First I want to say most times the salads in the back are expired, and bad. It is not marked and should be taken off the shelf. I have started shopping Maui Lani as store is always clean and fully stocked with good date.
I have lost a wallet and I now know it was at Safeway Gas station. I called yesterday and the manager Devon got really short condescending, and started to raise his voice. I asked him if he was mad at me for something and he Got Louder, MAAM, I am just trying to help you. I got the gas manager today to help find my wallet. And she did not want to help just kept saying to go the police. I said I can not make a report without knowing if the wallet was there. (It was I went around her to Oahu to head of Security and they saw me with my wallet,) But Aggie would not let me ask a question at ALL. She stated something that was not true and I said what where did you get that idea she told me it was the store manager Devon, the one I spoke with yesterday, I said you mean the nasty guy. She got upset and the call went from bad to worse. She hung up on me twice got so rude, I put my recorder on and kept saying I would like you to be nice, and you are being recorded. SHE DID NOT CARE. It was you called my manager nasty and hung up on me again. BIZARRE. And uncalled for and mean spirited, and unnecessary. I take a missing wallet very serious and she would not help me. IT IS RECORDED
Recommendation: Gas prices are good, but if you have an issue at the store or gas station do not expect Devon or Aggie to help. I did complain about the expired food on more then one occasion almost never got a call back. Its ashame but Maui Lani is cleaner and nicer.
I went yesterday to Starbuck, and got groceries, and gas. Went home, Went back to town and did not have my wallet with me. So it was lost somewhere between Safeway Gas station and my home. I called Safeway and got the manager. After looking at the video he told me what I needed that I did not leave it at the store. When he told me he started getting louder and I asked are you angry at me. He raised his voice even louder and SAID NO I AM TRYING TO HELP YOU. So I said does not sound like that in your tone. I moved on and called asking for the manager of gas at that number. I was told call today she will be in at 4:00 am. I was not told if anyone turned anything in. I was not asked for my phone number for them to call me back. NOTHING. Which is Safeway policy. I also learned that there is head of security in Oahu and that person could have looked up the video immediately yesterday and given me all the information to go to the police and make a report. That was not offered to me.I called today got the female manager. Aggie on the line. The call did not go well in any way. I told her I was looking to see if she could look on the video and see if I dropped my wallet. She said call the police I said yes I will once I know to send them to the gas station. She just kept saying cll the police. I finally said I can not without knowing. She said something about my visit and it wasnt true I asked who told you that.she said Davon the manager told her, but she still would not answer my question. I said the manager who behaved nasty to me. SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I called right back and recorded the call. I WOULD LIKE TO AND WILL SHARE THAT RECORDING TODAY WITH UPPER MANAGEMENT. She was rude resufing to answer, kept saying you called my manager nasty and then said that about 8 times and hung up on me again. I just kept asking her to please be kind. She would not...
What you experienced is absolutely unacceptable. It's crucial to stand your ground and ensure you get the help you need. Go over their heads if you must and make sure your concerns are heard by the higher-ups. Use the recording to your advantage. Stay firm and demand the respect and assistance you deserve. Don’t let them brush you off — make sure they know you mean business. Keep pushing until you get the resolution you need.
