Terrible Experience with SalonGuys: Chair Never Arrived and Poor Customer Service
My experience with SalonGuys was not good at all. I ordered a chair from them, but unfortunately, it never arrived. They did send a carton that was marked as a chair, but when I opened it, I found a pedestal instead. This was a huge disappointment, and I was really frustrated with the whole situation.
To make matters worse, my experience with their customer service was terrible. I tried to contact them to find out what had happened to my chair, but I had a lot of trouble getting through to anyone. When I finally did get in touch with someone, they were not very helpful or friendly.
Overall, I would not recommend anyone to purchase from SalonGuys. My experience was a complete disaster, and I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what I did. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to buy from, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

SalonGuys is not a good company. Their staff is not friendly and they lie a lot. They will say anything to make you happy, but it's all fake. Mariah is the worst employee there, she is very rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I just got my Monroe chair from SalonGuys and I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. I ordered it online and the pictures showed a beautiful, shiny leather chair. But what I received was a dull, matte color chair. I was so confused and thought there must have been a mistake. So, I called the customer service line and spoke to a lady who told me that they have professionals come in to take pictures of their products, which is why it looked so shiny in the pictures. She suggested that I put some conditioner on it to make it shine.
I have to admit, I'm pretty sad about this. I was really looking forward to having a shiny new chair in my salon. But I guess I'll have to make do with what I have. This company is terrible! I can't believe how bad my experience was. I ordered a chair from them and paid $89 for shipping. When I contacted the company to see if I could return it, they told me that I would have to pay $130 to ship it back and then they charged me a $100 restocking fee! I couldn't believe it. And when I tried to get a refund or exchange, they told me that they couldn't do anything because the boxes go by weight. What a joke! However, the following week, I found out that Brennen or Brendan (I'm not sure of the spelling) from SalonGuys had given out my name, order information, price paid, and other personal details to a shady supply store. This store was trying to make a deal with SalonGuys and become their local distributor. I was shocked and disappointed to hear this. I had trusted SalonGuys with my personal information and they had betrayed that trust.
Identity theft is a serious issue and I don't want to risk it. I would advise anyone considering ordering from SalonGuys to think twice. They may not keep your personal information confidential and that could lead to serious consequences. It's better to be safe than sorry. I would recommend ordering from another company that values their customers' privacy and security.
Terrible company to deal with!
Ordered a curling Iron from www.salonguys.com and received an incorrect one. I've purchased the most expensive one but the one I received was two times cheaper! I contacted them and they said that iron which I ordered was not in stock and offered to refund me the price difference. I refused and said that I'm sending it back for a full refund. They said that they don't accept returns. They left me no other choice! Terrible company to deal with!

I have ordered some items from www.salonguys.com and everything arrived damaged. I contacted these guys and asked for a refund and they said that they need to check something and later they will provide me a return label. Waited for about two weeks and started to get nervous, because there was no information from SalonGuys and I had only two weeks left to return.
When I tried to contact them myself they ignored me and they finally contacted me back only when 30 days already passed. They said that refund was not possible since 30 days passed and there was nothing they could do!

The website looks good but the company is terrible. If you live in their neighborhood it might be worth the risk to buy from them but otherwise stay away. They will happily ship you back your broken part till your warranty runs out rather than "replace" the part and be out of pocket. The customer service people seem nice but really they are well aware that all they need to do is to string you along till your warranty is up and then they win by never replacing the part and yet they pretend to try. They must literally just put what you send to them in a new box and wait a few weeks and then send the junk back to you. They prefer to pay their shipper to ship stuff 3 or 4 times around the country rather than just replace the broken part. Avoid. Not only is this frustrating for the customer but a huge waste of your time and it can cost a lot of money shipping the stuff to them.

I bought a facial steamer from Salon Guys and it never worked correctly right out of the box. I contacted them and they said they would send me a part to replace that would fix the problem. Two months later I received the part and after installing it, it didn't fix the problem.
I contacted them again and they said my only option was to ship it to them at my expense for them to repair and pay for the return shipping, which was $50. I told them I shouldn't have to do this since I bought a brand new piece of equipment that did not work from the time I opened the packaging and plugged it in.
They said that was my only option and that they would not send me a new one. Do not buy anything from Salon Guys. They do not stand behind their products and will rip you off if you have any issues with something you buy from them. This is not the only complaint from other customers of theirs about this issue.

Purchased an apron on the advice of another stylist. After a coupl weeks the fabric frayed and pulled away from the zipper. Clearly a bad sewing job. The apron looks brand new besides that. Salon Guys will not exchange or refund as I called them a couple days after their 15 day warranty. (15 days? Are you f'ing kidding?). Do not shop with them. They are ONLY concerned in your
money and not about taking care of their customers or the quality of their products.
Received a towel warmer from them, but it broke within three weeks. The customer service refused to do anything, and they were very rude. NEVER buy anything from them.
