Samcart I enrolled for a Camp - fee was $1000, with the option to pay in two installments of $500

I enrolled for a Camp - and their fee was $1000 dollars, with the option to pay $500 at a time. I made one payment on June 4th for $500 and my second payment on June 10th, completing my full camp fee. Then on June 14th, another $500 was automatically withdrawn from my account. I contacted the camp organizers, and they informed me they had reached out to SamCart, who said they were offsite and would respond as soon as possible. I contacted my bank to file a complaint. I reached out to my contact at the camp, and they showed me they had been in touch with SamCart because they're treating my individual payments like a subscription, which was never the case! I want my money back. Then today, I received a notification that they attempted to take another $500, which I never authorized, especially not every 10 days! This is unacceptable! I've never had an experience like this and never want to be involved in an unauthorized subscription!

Samcart I was told I was going to get my money refunded and to find out that I was actually charged for a second time

I was told I was going to get my money refunded and to find out that I was actually charged for a second time. And thr company does not respond me A company by the name of Samcart has charged me. Some ridiculous fees that I did not authorize. These transactions were done at 2 in the morning and they have two separate charges. When I contacted the company via email, they said they were going to refund my money. However It seemed as if they were going to refund. It was a partial Refund and then waking up this morning. I see that I was not refunded at all. And I was actually in fact charged twice. And now I have not received any email or correspondence from this company whatsoever. I have submitted pictures that show that there's an email saying that it was refunded and that's on June 8th and then the next day on June 9th. It shows that it was charged again in for both 497 and 349. I just want all my money back. And I want the public to know that this company is a scam. Because I never authorized to have any of this transaction and then when I try to resolve it, they're throwing me through loops. And they're not contacting me anymore. And they failed to provide a phone number. And I just want to say that I am in California and this company is I think in Maryland, I don't know what MD stands for but I don't even ever make any of these purchases online. This is so out of character and I just can't believe this Company's trying to pull scans on people on the other side of the country.

Samcart I'm a senior citizen and was seeking a program to help me sell physical products

I'm a senior citizen and was seeking a program to help me sell physical products. Last year, Sam Cart advertised that they integrated with *** for selling products and I bought it. Too late I realized that Sam Cart does not help you sell physical products but only courses and such. I was unable to use the program for the purposes intended. Then COVID hit and my business went on the back burner because of a loss of income on my new job. An accident that caused a back injury in September disrupted my entire life and ended my prior job. With so many doctor appointments and disruptions going on in the same year, I was unable to focus on the business. However, all of the companies that I deal with, including ***, notify you before billing you, especially for an entire year and I assumed that Sam Cart followed the same best business practices. Because they do not notify you in advance of a billing, I feel that their billing practices are deceptive. When I was notified of the billing, I filed a complaint with *** Credit, which was denied. Sam Cart sent them information saying that I did not cancel prior to the billing. However, they did not advise me they were billing me again because I would surely have cancelled. Now I have to pay for another year of a program I did not even use the first year. I am requesting a refund for the charge of $349 plus a partial refund for last year because of deceptive advertising and billing practices. I see that there have been complaints from other businesses regarding their billing practices. I don't know how they can take money from a disabled senior citizen without even trying to help resolve my issue. If they had notified me in advance of the billing, I would have cancelled but they just billed without notification. Attached is the denial of my dispute by *** because I did not cancel prior to being billed.

Dates of transactions: 07/24, 08/24, 09/24 Amount of money paid to business: $ 297.00 Business is called SAMCART INC from FULTON,MD and is an SAS build a business service. They took $99 x 3 months of charges without my authorization from what they are calling a 14 day free trial. I was already enrolled in a starter trial for $349.00 and was refunded back, but my profile must have still existed. I did a customer service chat "within the samcart's own program system" to cancel that 349 trial and I received the refund of 349.00. I never signed up for another "14 day trial", I bet it was a glitch in their system, because why would I sign up for a second trial when I already had asked for refund of the original trial. I NEVER AUTHORIZED SAM CART TO USE MY CREDIT CARD information or agree or click on any order to receive a new trial subscription. You need ton request all the chats that were done to cancel the first subscription. I feel so violated that these auto services, that do trials try to trick you or use your info to subscribe you without your consent. Second to that fact, I cancelled the first and ONLY trial I ever subscribed to and so it makes NO SENSE why I would use their service when I wanted nothing to do with that scam company. I asked multiple times for a refund and NO ONE will address my issue or help me. Furthermore, what they sent to my credit card company at *** is not accurate because I CANCELLED ANY AND ALL SUBSCRIPTIONS WITH THAT COMPANY when I REQUESTED THE CANCELLATION. THEY took my information and their computer system must have done this automatically on their own and its NOT OK I want this resolved and its not that much money its $297.00, but every dollar counts there days. The main issue is the principal of this type of business stealing from and cheating people out of their hard earned money, a company has no care for the consumer or the truth of the situation and is not willing to resolve such a small issue.
