I would like to lodge complaint regarding with the poor service that I get from Finrite.
I sent my phone for repairs on the 28 May 2020. I keep on calling Finrite they explain to me that there was a backlog since the repair centre was closed during lockdown. They instructed me to pay the excess fee I did pay the excess fee of R400 on the 28 September 2020. I send the proof of payment for excess fee. They inform me that they are done with the repairing of my phone. ever since then I am not yet receive my phone every time when I contacted the call centre they make excuses about the courier company.
I am losing the patience now I want to cancelled the cash phone insurance with Hollard. I want my phone back.

Faulty device - no response for 4 and a half months; new device approved, but not received by samsung

This is just a quick summary of events. The whole communication between me and Samsung is attached as well as the technical report for the phone that confirmed it is a faulty device.
I received a brand new Samsung Z Flip on 28 February 2020. On 4 July 2020 I send in a complaint to Samsung regarding my faulty phone. I did not hear from the for 4 and a half months, I then send emails again. I finally got a response from Linda. Device was booked in for assessment and report confirm was faulty device. Linda confirmed that I would receive new device. They are now dragging their feet, it is 2 weeks already, the claim no stock, but I could with two phone calls in 10 minutes establish stock availability for this phone. My patience is done. I want a new device. I had to loan a device to have a phone in the meantime.

The Samsung Galaxy A21s (Handset) which was dispatched to me on September, 2020 ending, cannot and does not browse since the day I collected it. Galaxy note 9 damaged during repair, samsung egypt wants me to pay for the damaged part.

My name is islam fathy abdelaziz, from egypt.
On sep 20th, 2020 I delivered my galaxy note 9 to samsung support branch in port said, orabi st., egypt to replace phone's broken screen.
My phone was working fine and charging well and reads "fast charging" however the screen was broken and flickering.
Support agent received the telephone and examined it and gave me a receipt stating that my phone has a broken screen and some minor scratches on the back and I should receive the phone after 7 days.
After 9 days I contacted call center to discover that nothing was done with the phone and no technician received it yet.
After complaining they filed a rush request for the service.
Next day I received a call saying that charging socket was effected during repairs and needs to be replaced with cost 1000 egp on my account.
I rejected the cost and stated that phone was charging well and that if it was effected during repair then I shouldn't be held accountable for it and it should be on samsung account.
I asked for investigation and to waive the socket charges, however later samsung replied that I have to pay the charges otherwise they wont fix the phone.
I ask to waive the cost of the charging socket and get compensation for the delay as my phone has been in support for 18 days with no results.

Despite unloading and cleaning 3 times a year, the top shelf on the door keeps filling with water. It's a top freezer model. The door seal is good. I keep having to disassemble and clean the coils and unclog it. Junk. Really junk. And what really gets me angry is the so called "Consumer Reports" that says it's the best
. So many water issues on the internet! It is bad engineering, period. I am done with ALL Samsung products. LG products I have work as advertised and last.

I have been unhappy with my Samsung appliances since the first month...I have the black stainless steel frig stove micro and dishwasher.. After 6 months the frig started to peel and the stove burners started to fade. I had Frigidaire for more then 10 years and had no problems.. I will never purchase Samsung again and I if people ask me I will tell them not to buy anything Samsung.. It's a shame you spend $6000 and get crap.. And Samsung customer service is a joke they don't care your stuck with crapping appliances because you can't afford new ones.. I am trying to replace my door bins and there price is outrageous which is ridiculous all three bins cracked and broke. Now they want $73 a bin! Very dissatisfied with Samsung.. I purchased a samsung refrigerator on august 2017 and in less than 3 years the icemaker has to be replaced after the third call to lakes electronics. The icemaker continues to fail and freeze. In addition the freezer is no working.
We contacted a technician to have the unit fixed and we were told that the entire seal system was bad and that it would be cheaper for us to purchase a new fridge. After hearing this on a unit that we purchased on august 2017 and today is august 2020 we were appalled and very upset. I attempted to contact samsung customer support and I was placed on an hour hold and noone ever came bac, I tried texting and it was horrendous the representatives changed in the six hours that it took and no results. This is unacceptable that samsung's customer support is so unprofessional and un effective. We where told in 2018 that our unit was defective and that it needed to be replaced by a samsung rep and they never called us again.

Absolutely the worst experience ever! It's been almost one and a half months since my fridge (only 18 months old) broke. The fridge (r19, 000) started giving problems within the first 10 months that I had it. Samsung sends out subcontractors (not samsung technicians) to assess the problem and they "fix" it. 6 months later the exact same problem occurs. Samsung sends out the same subcontractors to diagnose the problem. Problem is apparently that the freezer's defrosting unit isn't, and hasn't been working since the first time it gave problems (meaning 6 - 8 months). The whole defrosting unit as well as the sensors needed to be replaced. So this is done and now the fridge is "fixed" again. The very next morning I notice that the plastic panels in the back of the freezer is bent and loose so they have to be replaced. And... Wait for it... The ice maker will no longer make cubed ice. Samsung gets the same subcontractors who tell me that one of the levers in the ice unit broke..."why?"... I ask..."probably because it hasn't been defrosting for all those months". 😡 this just proves that this freezer has incurred severe long term damage and all the problems are going to pop up as time goes by. My warranty expires in a few months, and then samsung is just going to shrug when this happens. I have repeatedly asked that they replace the fridge (due to my concern mentioned above). The technician came for installation next day, reported the product is fine. However, it started malfunctioning instantly, while started to use it. An engineer came to check the issue, on request and found the product defective (motherboard issue) and reported it to
@RelianceDigital. However, they denied to replace the complete product, as the minimum days of replacement passed.
Then we reported it directly to
@SamsungIndia. The engineer came from Samsung and found the same issue, told us, he will raise a request for replacement, with Samsung. We were finally relieved. But in contrary, the real harassment started now. They were not updating the status for almost 2 weeks, when they wl provide the new product and pick the defective product, even if the engineer assured us, that the new product will be delivered in 1 week. I was regularly calling and hearing the same dialogue, the status is still pending. It was found, the engineer didnt update the service status to Samsung for 1 week, until I called the engineer and asked why he didnt submit the service status and raise the request for replacement. Finally, they came up with a solution of picking the defective product and giving a refund coupon to us for the same amount of purchase, after 3 weeks of the engineer check. Now the harassment started with the process of getting refund coupon. I was calling them again and again, and trying to know, when they will provide the refund coupon, so that I can buy a new samsung product by visiting a store. This went on for another 2 weeks, finally after the last lockdown on 22ndJuly, 2020, someone came from

The store manager told, this does not have any watermark on it and the word "SERVICE COUPON" is not written diagonally. Then the customer care person put the call on hold and after waiting for 10 minutes, he cut the call. I called the customer care again. Again I had to explain the story. I asked, why dont you connect me to your higher authority, I want to explain, what the service center did.
But, he avoided the situation and was trying to give the address and contact number of other Samsung plazas in Bengaluru, without knowing which store sells only mobile, not home appliances.
'I wanted an explanation from him, what is the use of visiting other stores, if the refund coupon is really fake. He kept telling that I have to contact the service centre, he cant do anything.
The store manager, kept claiming, that the coupon is generated by the service centre. However, the customer care person kept claiming, that Samsung sends original coupon to service centre. Once they get it, they forward it to customer. I remember, while waiting to get the refund coupon from Samsung service center for atleast 2 weeks, the executives at service centre kept telling me, they were waiting to get the refund coupon from Samsung office.
This is really pathetic, how we are suffering for last 1.5 months, for this.
I am really tired to get a conclusion, who is at fault, is it Samsung office, who sends the original coupon to Service centre, or the service centre at Bangalore, who might have counterfeited the coupon and delivered it to us.
I just want a final solution to the harrassment, and be able to buy a new product/return the money to my account.
If I dont get a solution to it by tomorrow, I will surely go to consumer forum.

I purchased Samsung S20 mobile from Raya (registered distributor for Samsung in Egypt) that was on 15 July 2020 I revisited the branch at mall of Arabia once more on 27 July to fix a screen protector they said it costs 250 pounds I agreed then after manipulating the device for upto 45 minutes they gave it to me with a thin factory protection layer on the the back of the device partially removed and spoiled ! They refused to escalate or file a complaint I intend to sue them and sue Samsung in the process if they don't take a serious action
Washer recall service
I've now been given 3 ticket #'s with only the promise to have "someone" call me within 1 to 2 days. Samsung messed up the first ticket # costing me over a week without a washer. The 2 # went through, but it will take over another week in order to get service. The service provider in my area refused to do anything at all for me. Transferred me back to Samsung to try to find another service provider in my area. This time I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with a CSR while at the same time web chatting with another person in customer service desperately trying to get someone to help. The CSR on the phone was very nice, but again, wanted me to wait 1 to 2 days for a manager to call me back. I pushed the issue to speak with a manager. Finally, a manager got on the phone just to tell me that I had the wrong department and had to be transferred elsewhere. By this point, my patience is far gone and I'm angry. The manager proceeded to spout off her requirements of me in order to prevent her from disconnecting the call. Apparently the whole goal is to frustrate people to the point of just buying another machine or taking care of it themselves so that Samsung doesn't actually have to take responsibility for their failures. I'm now well into hour two (only counting today thus far) of dealing with customer service trying to get my washer fixed. . . currently 30 minutes into again waiting for someone to help me. They expect me to go 3 weeks or more without a washing machine. I explained to them multiple times that I'm LITERALLY running out of clothes (certain clothing items that is) and it doesn't really matter to them. I don't want to take my clothes to the laundromat because of COVID. All I can get from anyone including management is that there's nothing anyone can do. I even offered to wait another week, if they would cover the cost of a laundry service so that my child and I would have enough clothes and towels for another week. They refused. They should just go ahead and save everyone the time and admit that they have no intention of appropriately caring for the individuals that they've put in danger due to their faulty manufacturing. We are being pushed to the back burner because they aren't making any additional money off of it. Dear sir, My parents lives in Egypt for almost 15 years now, 5 years ago we purchased a washer and we started to use it 2 years ago, last few weeks the washer started to make noise when in rinse mode, my mom contacted Samsung in Egypt to see if they can send someone to look at the washer, customer service assumed the problem without sending a technician to look at the washer. On June 24th of 2020 Samsung sent someone with spare part and he replaced the part without any diagnose, he charged us 750 pound and gave my mom receipt for 700 only. After he left my mom tried to use the washer but the noise was there and no change at all. my mom called Samsung again to complain, for almost a week nothing was done, two days ago a technician was sent to diagnose the problem after that he told my mom that the washer needs different spare part and it will cost 900 pound.
I'm very frustrated by the whole situation, i live in the states and i'm sure that wouldn't here here, companies policy should be the same everywhere.
I hope this email will find a way to the managers at Samsung and be resolved as soon as possible.

When talking on the phone after two minutes into the call it begins cutting out i can hear them but they can not hear me. Eventually on both sides we can not hear each other. I have trouble connecting to the internet i know it is not my carrier because i have a tablet with the same carrier and the tablet connects perfectly fine. It will not accept video calls as i tried to video call the other day and it would not go trough. Also I should mention this is the second A20 i have had in a month that has had all the same problems. I have done all the troubleshooting with my carrier and none of it has worked.

My son bought me a tv from Costco last year and it started developing a blue line running vertically and it got more and more noticeable. Contacted Samsung and after numerous tries finally got to where they said they would send someone to fix the tv. Waited and waited for someone to come. Finally called the repair place and they said Samsung cancelled the repair order but Samsung never let us know. So contacted the company and they said they will send me a new tv. Waited weeks and nothing. contacted Samsung again and they said they are reviewing the case. Waited another few weeks and now they want me to scrape a sticker off the tv, take a pic of that same sticker and mail it even though the sticker will be in the envelope, fill out paperwork letting samsung not be liable anymore. As soon as I ot all the info together I mailed it to samsung. Waited weeks and got a call finally on March 21 saying its been approved and they will throw in $50 over the price of the tv for time wasted. Waited a couple of weeks and called Samsung and was told after they approved the request for a refund on May 21 a couple hours after that the review board rejected the claim with no answer as to why. Called Samsung again and was told]no one knows why it was rejected but they will put it up fr another review. Thought Samsung was a good company but with all this runaround and lies and BS that they are trying to hand me I will never buy anything Samsung again and will tell everyone they canʻt be trusted!

Purchased this dryer 12/2019 and purchased warranty. Within 2 weeks dryer would not complete drying process. Following dates had techs come out to repair. 12/19, 2/3/20, (break due to virus), 4/3, 4/21, 5/6. Thermostat replaced since heated SO high almost caused a fire. Called Samsung and spoke to Case Managers, Pierre 5/9/20, Pablo 5/12, Rafael 5/12. All 3 promised a call for a tech to do a final inspection of the dryer. Meanwhile drying damp clothes on chairs and hanging all over. Called 5/22/20 spoke to Duma. Said I should of had a call for appointment. Asked to speak to Director over Case Managers. Told would take 24 hours.

I started this process on april 14, 2020, I have yet to get anything resolved. We purchased a $3000 samsung television from best buy, and it went out right after our warranty expired. Of course trying to get throught to them is next to impossible! Once I did get through no one could help me, I finally, after 2 days was able to get to a supervisor named karen, probably the only helpful person at samsung. She was able to extend my warrantee after hours of trying to get the s/n number, and hours of speaking to her, due to the covid-19, she could extend it. We finally settled on getting someone out here to fix the television, a few days later, the gentleman called to cancel the appointment, because part was not in. A week went by, no call or anything. I had to call one department only to wait on hold for 45 minutes to get a person who tolf me they cannot get the part.. Umm, when was someone going to call me and tell me this? So after an hour of discussion with this person, I was told they are processing it for an exchange. Ok, sounds great. Well, a couple days went by, nothing, called best buy, sat on hold for 2 hours, to be told they have no information from samsung. So, again, on hold with samsung to be told everyone there is a manager, and there is no one higher than them to speak with. They give an e-mail and I sent that e-mail a month ago with no response. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on 3/2017, from the very beginning we had trouble with the Ice maker. Samsung has replaced the ice maker twice once in 4/17/2019 and the second time was 4/16/2020. I found out there was a class action about the Ice maker. Samsung contacted me on 4/21/2020 the customer service rep was named Rachel, she said Samsung wanted to replace my refrig with a new one. she said she would e-mail me with the information. She never did e-mail or call me back. On 4/22/2020 I called Samsung and talked to Pablo, who explained to me my options and I decided on the exchange and not the Customer credit. He said it would take a few days to set everything up. I sent him the receipt for the refrig I bought in 3/2017. On 4/28/2020 Samsung e-mailed me and said the exchange had been approved the gave me a Ref #[protected] they said it would take a few days to set everything up and after 5 days if I did not here from the store where I bought my refrig to call Samsung I waited 7 days so I called today. Everything we had agreed to had changed Instead of the exchange they were to give me a store credit I was not aware of this change I was never notified. Then started my journey through Samsung Customer service. I made a total of 3 phone calls today, the first person i talked to tired to help but hung up on me and never tried to call me back, the second person Diego tried to help but I end up talking Ed his supervisor who told everything had been completed
but I told him it couldn't be because I never heard from the store and I didn't have a new refrig he told me to contact the store and gave me an RMA #[protected]. I contact the store Lowe's and they said they had now info about the refrig. So I called a 3rd time and talked to Kristine who knew what she was doing. She told me she would check into everything and call me back with answers to my questions, guess what she did call back and said the store had the info and they would call me which they. I found out the credit was for$1804.05 which means I will have to spend $200 to $300 for a new refrig which I don't want to pay
But my real issue is your customer service and the way they handled my problem. They made a mess of it from the very beginning. Some people tried to help and they should be commended those who made the problem worst should be reprimanded.
I would like Samsung to please help pay the extra money for the refrig $200 to $300 for all the trouble I have gone through. After all it was your poor Ice maker design that caused this problem in the first place. Customer Service was the second problem.

Im done with the Samsung brand...My refridge has been freezing up under the space below the pull out Meat tray...have to scrape the ice about every 6-7 weeks for a couple years now...you would think a corporation would own up to their inferior product, but samsung employs underpaid customer service people to keep passing you around to other underpaid non management types till you give up...there is a class action against them for this problem, but as we know they are still profiting of this garbage product...have tried (spent my money) on all kinds of fixes recommended by other you tubers and like them it doesnt resolve the poor design and horrible customer care...
