Samsung Defective handset, worst customer support & service

I had recently purchased samsung?S brand product samsung galaxy note ii phablet model no. Gt-n7100 (Imei no. -[protected]) from one of my nearest dealer sai electronics dilshad garden delhi-110095 vide bill no. -31784 on 5th nov 2012. At the beginning I thought it was my great pleasure to invest my whole savings on samsung phablet as it is one of the greatest phablet available in the market till date with none of its neck competitors (This was my assumption before I started facing problems). But now here comes the hardship; within a week only handset started giving problem and was not functioning properly. Now it's quite difficult to use this handset for business purpose. It's getting heated in while calling or surfing internet in every 20-30 minutes & gets shutdown due to overheating. Sometimes it's getting hanged so now I m much worried about to use this phone. Also the major concern is regarding the battery issue & drainage problem. The battery backup is very less & even the maximum battery mostly gets drained off @ a steady rate which causes the device to heat at above than 55'c as per my experience observation & experience so far. So, initially I contacted the dealer regarding all these type of issues but he was so rude that I couldn't get proper response from his end. So, finally I decided to take help of customer care... But here problems became much more intense. I wasn't able to contact customer care as my call always remained in queue @ ivr for more than 30 mins... But never got connected to inbound executive resulting in abandon. This raised my frustration a lot as there seemed to be no resolution till date as days were going over n over. Finally somehow after a long follow-up, on 8th december somehow my call got connected to c. C & I having my discussion with the executive explained him regarding the issues with my handset starting from wi-fi settings to call quality, signal dropping & others grievances as mentioned above... But it seemed they were reluctant in helping me... As the kept the things like around the bush with their scripted words just repeating & making if & buts'saying that there is no problem with this handset as according to them battery heat up is normal thing in android phones but up to how much temperature?They were not in a state to tell me & simply diverted the topic by saying to visit to service center. Now what I have to say all about this is it a joke for them to simply take the things lightly by repeating the scripts to visit the service center or it has become a tradition for this organization to invite its customers to its service center within such a short span of time of its new brand product. So what it feels to me the reality after being a customer is that the quality & service has really demoted as per my experience till date & has forced me to put an apocrypha on samsung's hyped customer service as I am very much disappointed with the quality and service. Earlier I was using apple and htc and I am very much satisfied with them. Both manufacturing brands are best and providing better service. But it feels that my decision was totally wrong to switch to ur esteemed brand as per my assumption earlier. I heard about samsung a lot but I would say now, one of the worst brand ever I have used. These guys are totally fraudulent and cheater. I would never suggest to anyone to go with samsung. I am very much disappointed with the quality and service. After a long follow up in tense & frustration with no resolution till date what I felt all in vain... So I can't expect much more worse than this I don?T want to follow up these guys in service center as I know I will have to bear a more than this & have to face a more consequences & their stupidity in service center which is a nominal thing as experienced by several customers. So, all I can expect at last from samsung to either get this defective handset replaced with new one or simply redeem back all my money?As I don?T want to deal with such a company anymore.

I bought samsung galaxy note II in bahrain while i was on transit and didn't have time to check it over there and when i reached home in usa i turned it on and found a green sharp light is coming from screen like a dot and i send a inquiry to sky international LLC from where i bought along with invoice number and date 01/14/2013 about the defective merchandise but never received any response back to exchange the phone. is there any one can help me to resolve the problem.

Samsung very poor customer service

You have extremely very poor customer service, samsung customer service sm city cebu northwing. Last week, I handed my samsung smart phone in your center to check why my cellphone when turned on stucked in it's logo thingy. So, you did checked and told me to be back at exactly 2 hours to claim. After 2 hours of waiting excitedly, you then told me that my cellphone needs to stay for a week to change it's motherboard because the system has been crashed and expect it to reboot. All my contacts and files will be deleted. I was very disappointed considering that's the only phone i've got to contact all my project clients at work. You didn't even offer a service phone to use for the meantime. But I don't have a choice but to wait, wait and wait. No cellphone for 1 week. Pending works. No contacts. No communication. Then a week later, I came back to your center to claim my cellphone. What surprised me is when this lady told me that my cellphone has not yet been fixed. You f*ckin' crazy? It's been 1 week and days later, still not yet been fixed? Where's your word? You said i'd be back a week later to claim for it. I have a work too.
This is stupid and inappropriate.
I hope this complaint get noticed and a lesson to learn.
And oh, you better stay focused on your work guys. As I have observed you were always chitchatting with each other not related to your work. Why not follow up or call samsung manila service centers for more assistance. We might be glad at it.

Samsung worst service ever

If you buy extended warranty on a product @ visions electronics in kamloops, don't. You should completely avoid this store. Once they have your money, the customer service is null and void. Our family will never deal here again. After 6 weeks of waiting for our Samsung sound bar to be repaired and 9 calls to visions, we just received the sound bar back. We would not recommend this product as you are out the sound and your blu ray when it breaks down. In between waiting for our sound bar, yesterday we were told to come to the store and get a new sound bar and separate DVD as they weren't able to fix it (the week before we were told it was fixed and en route to kamloops). When we arrived @ visions, we were told they made a mistake and it was another customer they were giving the new products to. No apology given?

Samsung money back

i want two put complaint in about currys electrical store about samsung tablet i purchased seller told me rong details i cant get my money back i was told i could claim £80 cash back but i cant because i never bought case whith it i was not told anything about case
he also told me i coul dclaim the £80 back a month 2 the day ibought it that was also false i am un happy i dont want the tablet now please help

Oh it is a total an utter farce and I'm sure under the trade descriptions act it would be classed as misleading. I bought a tablet from Currys, a samsung galaxy 2 7inch at the end of November, 30 days later end of December I started the process of cash back. What a pain in the ### you need so much information a photo of your receipt and then the best bit you don't get all the cash back from currys, you get £20 from currys and the other £30 from Samsung who want bank details. Well finally today I got my cheque it was for £20 from Currys and guess what it was issued incorrectly Mr instead of Mrs and believe me my name is totally gender specific not ambiguous I'm actually livid and will not let this rest. I also had to chase up Samsung who had allegedly sent me an email saying there was something wrong with my claim, I never received that and having spoken to an operator she said there is nothing wrong would validate it today but I would have to wait up to 40 days for the money to appear into my account, just ridiculous. The thing is they don't want people to do it so make it as hard as possible to try and do.

I also bought a tablet with a moneyback promise. I did buy the case and waited 30 days. However the link to the moneyback offer wasn't on the website like I was told it would be- I had to contact customer services for the link. The currys sales assistant told me I would just need the serial number from the receipt but that wasn't true. I needed a whole list of information and a photo or scan of the receipt. After submitting these details, the claim bounced back because I hadn't submitted the serial number of the tablet ( which I was never asked for ). Finally they told me I would get a cheque 42 days + an additional 5 days for postage after the claim had been accepted. The whole proces ( should I ever get my money) will have taken 4 months from purchase. I do feel this is a bit of a scam and that every hurdle was put in the way so that I couldn't access the cashback promised.

Samsung lost

I lost my Samsung Duo Model No.C-3312 with IMEI No.[protected] on 24-11-2012 was missing while travelling in a city bus in between Kancharapalem to Urvasi Junction. I lodged a complaint in 5 th town police station. They issued a certificate stating that they made necessary enquiries about the above missing cell phone in and around limits of Kancharapalem Police Station by deputing their men on station routine enquiries but in vain. I am sending herewith copy of purchase bill and certificate which was issued by 5th town police station for necessary action.

Samsung worst service

i have by mistake purchase a samsung airconditioner, of 2 tonn, s iam really sad, to say, i would never ever buy such companys products again in life time, it splits ice cubes in my bed room, and being a pilot, of an aircraft, i need to on the air con at least to get proper sleep, but iam really upset by this companys attituede in selling their product, i did buy a large led tv of sony bravia, hdx80 i never looked for korean product, i suggest u to buy o genral, or even lg, never samsung, their responsiblity is only until seliing their so called cheap product, s and once done, the costumer like me has to cry for life time.

I am Raj Kumar Baskar. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Y Mobile on 03_March_2012. Within one month I faced a problem which is "white display."

Ref:
Service Center where I went:
"OASIS Communication", No:4/210, Kandanchavadi, Chennai, TamilNadu, India.

1. So, I brought the mobile to service center on April 21st. They just switch on the mobile in front of me. While at that time that white display not reproduced, so they gave the mobile to me.

2. Again the same problem persists on 11_May_2012. So I brought the mobile again on 12_May_2012. They did something for ten minutes. I asked "what is the problem?". But, they didn't told. They told this problem will not come once again. So, I also leave that.

3.Again within 12 days(23_May_2012) same problem. I clearly told what happened up to this but they not listen properly. The same thing repeated they did something for half an hour and gave it back to me. While this time, they told that "it is something problem related to the board. If it come once again we will change it."

I asked why you cannot change it now. But they stood strictly in their point. So, I went.

4. Again within 8 days that is yesterday(29_May_2012) same problem. So, this time today(30_May_2012) I gave the mobile to the Service Center:

I explained the things to them. They took it for service.

Samsung a/c discharges water into bedroom

My 17 BTU Sam-sung air condition unit is now 5 years old and was professionally installed by the agent in Chiangrai. For five years it has a history of spitting ice particles and leaking water into the bedroom despite the best on going efforts oft the suppliers to deal with the problem. Many parts have been replaced but still
the problem goes on. Every few days it empties about a litre of water onto the bedroom floor. The problems started a few weeks after purchase and Sam-sung had the choice of replacing the unit or trying to fix it, they chose the latter.
Needless to say the maintenance crew practically live at our house - to me Sam-sung
Is just a heap of junk and I laugh at the sales guys when I confront them trying to
sell these defective products. We are installing a new A/C downstairs and yes
you guessed it we have chosen a Mitsubishi.

Samsung network problem

I bought a samsung galxy y duos phone from carriano next kamla nagar delhi 4 months ago. It was working fine till the last month when the network of my phone keeps on disconnecting even in a full coverage area. Even if the network restores the packet data usage is not steady, the 'e' mark on the top of the screen keeps on coming and going. This is very frustrating, its my first android phone and I would like to continue my android journey on samsung phones only if this problem is resolved. I m using vodafone in in 1st sim and dolphin in the 2nd also the packet data is used of vodafone (1st sim). I've tried checking gsm only mode and selecting my network manually from network providers screen but of no help. Reply asap.

Samsung delay delivery goods after paid in cash

Hi,

The conclusion I have made start from today is "this is my first and last time i'm buying items from courts mammoth"
The sales person promise me within 4 days and will be late at least less than 7 days I will get my refrigerator. Then I paid cash on that day perhaps they will deliver faster than the period time. Besides, the dhl as their partner for transportation also very nearby to my house.
After 3 days, they just allocated my booking and then another 5 days they only call me for deliver the goods. Everyday I am waiting for their calls and stay at home and hope they will send it in that period even on weekends. At the same time also, I called their hotline services about 4 times already. It is ridiculous and waste my time already. Then the transportation also call me after 7 days I paid and that time I am at the office and said, after 7pm u can send it. Then he was angry and said cannot send that time because he will go back early and I am still remember that the sales person told me the goods can be delivery until 10pm daily. Then the transportation person end my calls. It is very rude to treat me as their customer.
Then he also said want to send the goods early morning before I go to work. Then I said, if u coming late, so I will be late too. Then this is not proper/good time to delivery items to customer's house. Me and my husband going out to work at 7.30 am and I think possible he will coming that time and got jammed some more near to my house.
So, I you have other choice, please avoid to buy any items from this retails.

For me, this is the last ever and ever I bought from this company.

Samsung customer service

On the 27 aug I purchased a samsung laptop from curryspcworld. I chose this one over an alternative (Sony vaio) because its came with & pound;100 cashback; that's what clinched the deal. The sales assistant warned me to follow the instructions on the cashback leaflet very very carefully and stressed this a few times. He said to wait until september to send it. So, I looked at the form and there was a page to pull out and complete lots and lots of details about the purchase. It said to complete, attach a copy of the receipt and post it to and address. This is exactly what the sales assistant had said. So, on the 11th september I posted everything as instructed. So, I left it a month and i'd heard nothing. I emailed samsung on 16th october. I have had a few exchanges with samsung. Their first reply said your claim is not showing on our system and their first question was did I send it recorded delivery. Well no I didn't.

Samsung then quoted to me extracts of their full t&c where is says we recommend you use an insure postal service! However, the claim form includes 13 terms and conditions and none of them are to advise me that I should use an insure postal service and if I don't then I won't get my & pound;100.

So, it seems, that if you don't send your form by recorded delivery then samsung can say they have not received it. You cannot prove otherwise and either way they won't give you the & pound;100 cashback. The moral of this story is if it looks too good to be true it probably is!

Samsung mobile data usage

I was considered the prestige customer by Etisalat. Because of monthly usage of my mobile and other phones. Since 19 years i'm using this number and within this period i paid to Etisalat more than 700, 000 dirhams for my number [protected]. Once I dont exactly remember which year it was i was travelling out for my vocation . I came to Etisalat, main branch in Deira, i requested from one of the officer (you can check the name of the officer and the date and detail in your archive and history of my number in Etisalat) if i could get roaming service for my number how much you would charge? He answered me: It will be per minute 5 or 7 dirhams. I asked him 3 times and he answered me that 5 or 7 dhs per minute depending on country. It was first time i was asking roaming service for my number and when i came back my bill was 10, 000 dhs for one month. I was in shock, i came to Etisalat i asked the reason, the officer answered me that yes 5 or 7 dhs per minute we charge. But the country you are traveling charge whatever charges they want when you are connecting to their service. So, means i was cheated right? because nobody informed me before when i asked this question in Etisalat that i should be charged whatever monopoly charges in those countries . i was not properly informed. Now today i bought Samsung Galaxy S3, i even don't know how to use this phone. Salesman in the shop put the Sim card into new phone, and i came back home. While i was on the way i received a message, that i used 1000 dhs. I was in shock. I called 101 and spoke to the officer in Etisalat and he answered me that when i buy this kind of device my line automatically connects to internet. I didnt give instruction to my new mobile device to connect me to internet. So what you call this act? isnt it cheating? I need the answer to my question..

The solution to stop using data mobile is
you should do this steps
setting - more setting -mobile network -mobile data

in mobile date you will find square you should not make tic the square to stop using internet by this number

Samsung faulty lcd-cheating by sasung india

I have purchased SAMSUNG LCD TV, 40 inches (Model no. LA40B5501) in the month of September 2009.This product of Samsung comes with a warranty of one year.

SAMSUNG has cheated me right from the date of purchase by supplying “Defective LCD TV”.

This is evident from the fact that within few months of purchase the MOTHERBOARD of the LCD-TV stopped working and after taking up the matter repeatedly with the service centre it was replaced with a new one.

However, Real flavour of buying Samsung TV was yet to be seen. First, its circuit got damaged then its remote had issues and to get them repaired, I’ve spent my hard earned money only because Samsung has supplied me the defective product.

Now the biggest part, "the LCD screen" started showing its true colors which are nothing but the negative like images i.e. to say whatever we see in SAMSUNG LCD TV, because of expertise of SAMSUNG it is seen with a perfect blend of black color.

After this latest problem started, I again took it to the service centre of SAMSUNG and was informed that the estimated cost to replace the LCD screen in INR 25000/-

Wow, I am amazed by the Business Model, SAMSUNG has designed to cheat the innocent customers, they overall realize double the amount of MRP through the route of service on their Products because they have designed their products in such a way that all the major parts of the product start getting non-performing/ineffective at the end of warranty period so that through the route of customer service centre the customer pays for all the parts again.

In my case I was lucky, at-least the motherboard got damaged in warranty period so I saved few bucks otherwise the cost would be like, initial cost 57, 000/- then for the motherboard, then for the circuit, then for the remote and now for the LCD screen. Overall the total cost would land up somewhere around INR 1, 14, 000/-

I have purchased SAMSUNG LCD-TV and one of the reason behind buying was the competitive pricing of SAMSUNG product but I being the innocent buyer could not realize the master game plan of being trapped by SAMSUNG.

This is to highlight that an innocent consumer should be saved of the pain of using such Defective Product/BRAND. Even if there is some technical error, I believe it can be resolved. I expect from Brand Samsung to resolve this issue in best manner possible to set an example for the consumer at large and prove themselves.

Keenly waiting for resolution of the issue.
