Scribd review: Unauthorised credit card charges

This is the second time I'm complaining about unauthorized payment to Scribd on my visa card.

On the 25th August 2024 a deduction from " Scribd *[protected] [protected] " for the amount of $11.49 USD came off my Visa credit card.

I went through my billing statements, and I have been billed monthly starting Feb 25th 2023 for a total of 19 charges. This adds up to $218.31 USD.

I previously subscribed to their free trial but ended it within the trial period, so currently I have no Scribd subscriptions. I have changed my credit card thrice and charges should have stopped, but somehow they got my new numbers and the charges just continue.

I'm requesting a full refund for the $218.31 and a cessation of the monthly unauthorized billing.

I have tried resolving this problem through their website, but it was a total waste of time. I am expecting to hear from you soon to resolve this problem.
