Accidentally Broke my I phone on the 20/05/223 gave it for service on the same day got a call after a week that the phone is beyond repairable hence will receive a replacement phone. when approached the customer service counter in time square center i was presented with a I phone 12 Max pro which dose not carry any warranty and the product is no longer under production by the manufacturer. We immediately logged in to apple.com and could find out that this product is non warrented and aperies to be a refurbished one. the guy at the counter said for further details contact support team through email. as he had no roles to play.
i started communicating with the support team from 7th of Jun 2023. for a clear detail.
its simple we pay for a product and buy a insurance to protect it and the insurance value is collected based on the product value.
Product value AED 4,699.00 (I Phone 12 pro max)
Insurance Value AED 921.00 ( Covered for any damage for 2 years)

Handling charges AED 1,100.00 ( By Sgaraf DG and shield to check and service as required) we pay that too
now i should accept the i phone 12 pro max which is no longer in production and the value of the same is only AED 2,600.00 in the market.
So we pay AED 921.00 as insurance
then Handling charges AED 1,100.00

And get a product that is valued @ 2,600.00 in the current market.
All i insisted is that, i am ready to pay the charges as per insurance but give me the exact value of my insured product as gift voucher. And all they insist is to take the unsold products that are left behind in sharaf DG.
As a customer why should i agree to such things when i have paid them their dues. i should get what i have payed for.
Desired outcome: Please pay me the value of the insured product as gift voucher.
