rude cashier
I was at the Sheetz in Weirton, WV & a cashier (an older woman was working on checking my scratch off tickets after she called another employee to help at the register while she did so). The Sheets employee that came to help check people put was a young male & I couldn't believe the attitude & sarcasm of this kid with the other customers! I was actually chatting with a random stranger & he butt into our conversation not once, but twice, with his opinion in a rude & sarcastic manner & then when I looked over at him when I was about to leave, he was making a dishusted look at a customer & acting speaking very slow to a customer like he was stupid. I am OUTBLOWN by what I saw! Sheetz, you should keep better tabs on your employees by checking on their interactions with customers because that was absolutely unacceptable. That smarta** kid should be fired for the way that he acted yesterday. I am absolutely appalled by this!
lottery
I bought a lottery scratch ticket from the machine ticket number [protected]. Went out and scrached it (ticket was not a winner) but then I saw the barcode was already scrached off. I can't prove it was like that because like I said I had already scratched the ticket. But I'm sure someone scratched the ticket before they put it into the machine. So I got ripped of 30 bucks, as someone had already scrached the barcode and knew it was a loosing ticket. Really upsetting I didn't notice this before hand of scraching. I'm sure if there is one there is more in the machine
loitering in parking lot
I am disgusted with the fact that a group of motorcycle riders just sit in the parking lot doing nothing but being offensive and drinking. Management should step up and run these people off. Evidently these people don't care at all about their families, they would rather be sitting at Sheetz than be at home with their families. I will not even visit this place because of this. I am very tempted to call the police to see if they can resolve this.
sheetz card
I don't understand why I lost 1039 points when I haven't had it a year and now only have 17 points I am very upset I spend a lot of money In ur stores and I'm rethinking even buying anything from your company at all anymore . I always remember to use my card even for gas to save 3 cents that I am pretty sure I didn't save . My name is Amanda dubeck and my phone is [protected]
service
The cashier, I believe her name was Journey, was extremely rude. She never greeted anyone in line. All I could get her to communicate was "Huh?" Or "Yeah ok" and "receipt?" She left customers in line to go get herself a slushee and continued to drink it as she was waiting on customers. I have had pretty good service at this location, but this was ridiculous.
pyramid cigarettes - menthol and orange 100’s carton’s
My name is Karen Wallace, I purchased two cartons of pyramid orange and two cartons of pyramid menthol 100 cigarettes yesterday after work 9/4/2018, 4:13 pm at store # 623 Nashville NC. When I got home, my boyfriend opened one of his orange cartons, and one pack was missing- the end of his carton that one was missing had been taped. He took pictures. When I got home today, I opened one of my Menthol cartons, one was missing from it- mine had no tape but was glued on opposite end. You have a employee stealing packs from various cartons, that person's gain, but my LOSS. Please advise as to how I'm to handle this.
I drive from out in the country, this is why my boyfriend and I buy in bulk. So as much as we both frequent your stores, Nashville and Louisburg NC, I feel my gas should be considered in this matter also, Thank you - Karen
donuts and fuel pumps
I stop at the new sheets on 655 in Reedsville daily and have quite a few rewards points. I love the store and the MTO's. Just recently they switched from fresh donuts to frozen. They taste horrible and are tough. I fed mine to the gas pump garbage cans. I can overlook that problem because I probably shouldn't eat them bit the biggest issue is the advertising at the gas pumps. Our store has just started selling beer. I am not a drinker and don't mind those that do. My issue is that the ONLY advertisement at the gas pump video screen is a repeating beer ad. Nothing else. I will not be getting gas at your store when I am transporting minors. We have a big enough problem with DUI' s around here and I don't believe you folks are helping. Also, this area has a very large Amish population and have heard from them that they also dislike your advertising tactics when it comes to beer. I wish you luck but I can see this is probably going to cost you buisiness.

Sheetz #559
I love coming to Sheetz. The food is great and the staff is efficient at making the food. I always see a smile on the employees faces, which is always comforting.
I had an event occur at Sheetz #559 on Columbia Ave, PA which has tainted the joy I had to coming to sheetz, nearly daily. Donnie was checking me out and my debit card declined. The pad explained privately the reason and while I was puzzled I knew I had cash in the car. The register printed a receipt and Donnie said, "it says insufficient funds." There were other customers and employees around as well. This is not only embarrassing, but also unprofessional. There was no hesitation with his action which brings me to believe he has or will do this to other customers. If you have procedures to training, it should include how to handle such situations in a more dignified manner. Not only do cards get over drafted but also skimmed and stolen. There was no excuse for Donnie's condescending action.
worst experience ever
I had to sit in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes just to get (2) 2 liters of Coke. This is ridiculous. This is the third time I've had this issue in the past week. I sat there and watched employees take care of the people inside but paid me no attention at all. I have over 2, 500 reward points with Sheetz and come here often. Now I feel as though I never want to come back.
customer service
I come to Sheetz at the intersection of w. Market & w. Friendly very often. Most of the time it is late night. I don't know Maybe, the works can't handle their third shift job. But Almost everytime I have to wait at the counter for minutes at a time before someone acknowledges me but not only that when the young lady (this particular time) get there she doesn't say ONE Word . Even after I ask "hi how are you" ... and of course doesn't thank me when I'm leaving either!
Horrible customer service experiences often!
service
My wife and I went into the sheetz in colonial heights, va we tried to purchase beer for our evening together. The time we were at the register was 11:40 PM keep in mind the beer cooler was not locked.
The man at the register -not welcoming whatsoever- immediately tells us no on purchasing beer that it cuts off at 11:45 PM to help join with other state laws.
The commonwealth of virginia beer is sold till 12AM, so thank you sheetz for ruining my wife and mine evening of being at home drinking responsibly. And also making us feel very uncomfortable in a store we shop in daily. Being a lesbian couple I can't help but to feel as if this may have been something that played into this denial of purchase.. you have lost a customer and I will make sure others know of the incident.
chicken snack wraps
I always go to the sheetz on E Market Street and get food and never once had a problem with them. Today, i went in and ordered 2 3-packs of the chicken snack wrapz and i only got 2 in each pack. The chicken wrapz are very good but can be expensive. I will for sure check my bag from now on before I leave considering I spent 23$ on them and 2 frozen lattes.
Managers emily bennett & courtney jones
After viewing the video of two people on motorcycles speaking with the police officers that arrived after the two managers called the police on a group of motorcyclists, including black people for "playing loud music", I am convinced that these two women did not want them at their store because of the color of heir skin. I will not stand for racism in my...

Normally have a great experience here, but Ordered cheese quesadilla, order was completed without me being notified, so bag sat at the counter for 10 mins. Got home and saw that it was a cheese burrito and was stone cold, colder than what the 10 minute wait would have caused. This was at the Mentor, OH location on Lakeshore. Approx 11:30pm, Friday, August 31st.
poor customer service and management
My mom and I have been going to Sheetz for a long time, so much that we have been labeled Sheetz freaks on our Sheetz cards. We love the food and get our gas there a lot of the time. I was really excited when they opened a new Sheetz on Grafton road close to Where I live it was very convenient. We've made frequent stops for coffee and food, gas etc. on our way to and from work. Well, I guess some of the employees feel that having Customers on a regular basis is too much work for them, that maybe they shouldn't have to work at all. One of the girls back in the Kitchen would mess up our food orders on regular basis and would have an attitude when we brought this to her attention. The food isn't all that cheap and when you pay for extras or toppings you want what you pay for and I understand employees making mistakes sometimes it gets busy and that's okay but to do it on a regular basis, and have an attitude when we politely brought this to their attention. Then for her to continue to do this puts me under the impression it is purposely being done.
A few days ago at this particular Sheetz and this has been an ongoing problem as well. They are getting to the point where they're not wanting to make the coffee fresh and leaving it blinking for hours. We were up there a few days ago and we noticed again the coffee was blinking there wasn't a whole lot of people in the store so we decided because of being in a hurry we would stop back later from our appointment assuming by then that fresh would be made to purchase. Well, it was literally 3 hours later stopped back by still blinking all machines no one had changed them. The Policy on the coffee is if it's blinking they will make a fresh cup free. We get in line now and there are customer's lined up plenty of people in the back but only one at Register. So after waiting all that time in line to let the cashier know about the coffee because no other employee was out on the floor. the Cashier her name was Serenity takes a very poor service attitude and tells us that they refuse to make a fresh cup because everyone was too busy and the manager in the back with the others sees this going on her name is Christy and just ignores it. The girl literally gets on her mic and says can someone make coffee or are we all too busy, nobody responds to this behavior it's like no one really cares how these employees are treating customers. So finally someone does come out of the back giving us a dirty look not sure of her name, but she rolls her eyes goes over to the coffee machine makes it without apologizing or speaking to us. So finally my mom asks will it be free today, because we had to wait and were treated very rudely. She rolled her eyes mumbled yes and stormed to the back.
Yesterday it happened again with my mother the coffee was blinking and horribly burnt, she was in a hurry so she took the cup anyhow, made some other purchases and checked out once again through the cashier Serenity. She was once again rude to my mother and my mother told her about the burnt cup of coffee and asked her about it being free, Serenity didn't even offer to see if she wanted a fresh cup was very rude. My mom paid for her things and was under the impression that the coffee was free, but that Sheetz does not want to honor their policy, or do their job it would seem. My mom asks for her receipt because there have been times when they would double charge us or make us pay for things that weren't on our purchases. They are very rude when you bring anything to their attention. Instead of handing the receipt into my mom's extended hand Serenity Rudely Shoves it in the bag giving my mom a dirty look and then when we get to our vehicle we realize she had charged my mom for that burnt cup of coffee. So fed up my mom finally went back in there to let her know about her behavior and asked to see a manager the manager that came out hasn't been there very long, and the one manager Christy in the back once again knew what was going on sends him out instead and runs out the back door. He defends the cashier and then calls my mom out in front of other customer saying she comes in all the time, which I guess there's a limit on the number of times you can go to Sheetz I was unaware of this but that's the way they make you feel. So this manager loudly in front of all the Customer's says you'll get your free coffee if that's what you want next time your in here. Just really rude and sarcastic, My mother wasn't after a free coffee we give Sheetz lots of business the cup of coffee was horribly burnt and the note right on the machine says if the light is blinking you get a free fresh cup. I believe they should honor their policy it's the moral behind it and then treats my mother like all she was after was a free cup. We've bought good made coffee left and right up there, and there were times in the past where we even paid for the burnt when it wasn't all that bad. These people for some reason have singled us out I'm just wondering why?
About a couple of months ago I went into that Sheetz when they were hiring for their night shift, and the schedule was perfect for me. I was called in for an interview, by Eric the manager at the time. I had read the sign posted on their door join our team we give great benefits, at ten dollars an hour I felt it would be a great opportunity. Especially since I Was going to be going back to School it could help pay some of the expenses. I was really excited when this one was hiring so close to home. The interview with Eric seemed to go good and he put me under the impression that I had the job. When he got up from the table he told me to wait a few moments because he was going to be eventually leaving that Sheetz and working at the Sheetz where he was moving. He wanted me to have a second interview with the manager who would be running things over the Kitchen which is where I was assigned to work. He said it would just be a few minutes and Christy would be out. Well I waited and waited and right there beside me was the Kitchen I was sitting at a booth in the dining area when I heard and saw the manager who was supposed to be giving me an interview say
to the same girl who would mess up our orders all the time before that, I heard them joking back and forth out loud. " Do you want to give her an interview"? Joked christy. " Nah, I have to ask her what she eats and why she eats it", Joked the other girl pointing fun at the orders my mom and I would get. I was getting ready to just walk out but I figured that was what they wanted me to do so they wouldn't have to give me the job. Wasn't sure though at this point I even wanted it. Then another boy with red hair walked back into the Kitchen, " Well do you want to give the interview"? Christy said again out loud. " come on what would you say"? She was trying to get him in on it but he seemed like he wanted to focus on his job and it's a shame that the Management there can behave like that. So while I sat there Christy goes into the back her hiding spot I guess.
almost an hour later a girl by the name of Ashley comes out, and We had also had trouble when the Sheetz first opened with this girl, because she would make rude comments to me and my mom on occasion one time she threw a bag of chips at us and said here buy them you buy everything else. After a while, she was working at other Sheetz but every now and again she'll fill in for this one. When she came out she says " I'm not really sure why I need to give you an interview, I barely work here, but they said I had too". This seemed very unprofessional and rude but I didn't want to just walk away. I thought there were rules that protected new hires from discrimination, but I guess not according to this Sheetz management. Ashley's interview was full of scare tactics to get me to leave like Do you get sick a lot, are you going to call off every day? Do you work well in a team? To which I responded yes, then she shot me with " well you will be absolutely by your self and you'll have the whole Kitchen to do and you have to have it done by morning. well, I said okay I'm a quick multitasker and I can also work alone if necessary. She then smirked and I asked politely If I needed to get my food handlers card before or after and if the company would schedule me to get it because this would be my first experience with fast food but I was a quick learner. Then She tells me, I'm not really sure of the angle she was trying to go with here. She said to me that Sheetz workers were not required to have a food safety or handlers card. That most of them didn't, this is still a little concerning to me. I thought the health department required this. I let her know that I was aware of this law and She then looks at me and says so everything looks fine Did he mention to you about a drug test. I said no, he hadn't but I had no problem with this and I also agree to have this as it was also one of the listed requirements on my application. I felt like in her tone she was trying to insinuate something about me. This interview felt more like an interrogation. Then she tells me that She will have Eric give me a call to set up the Drug Screening. I have a feeling Eric was told some untrue things that day after I left, and sure enough, I never received a call from him at all to Schedule anything. I was sent an email a week later that my application was stopped and that I should apply to a Sheetz else Where. I assumed I was done wrong, but I also thought well maybe they found and hired someone over me. Returning to the store the sign was still hanging up for the night shift and it continued to hang up on their door and was just taken down finally last month all that time and obviously, they had never found a candidate for the position, yet I was never called.
I truly believe that this Sheetz really needs to re-evaluate their workers. I thought Sheetz cared about their customers. I know that this is just a shot in the dark and I'm only one voice, but I hope that what I have said will get this resolved some way. There are good employees there who also have to deal with these individuals as coworkers and supervisors. They are kind and they do their job, but there are days you just walk in there and know who's working because when these other rude individuals are there the coffee is always blinking the lines are always long, the food is made incorrectly. I really enjoy Sheetz but I don't know how long I'll continue to give them business if this behavior continues and I have family and friends who also shop Sheetz who agree.
employee
I ordered online tonight around 11 PM. I also had ordered this morning. My boyfriend went up to the register to pay for and pick up our order. Cashier called out my name by saying "order for Tiffany." The employee said I had ordered this morning as well. This employee also said to the other employee working "Yeah, her boyfriend is a [censored]bag." My boyfriend overheard and said to the employee "What did you say?" The employee stuttered and was speechless. My boyfriend left without the order. I called the store and asked for a manager. I believe it was an Austin that answered. He said the employees were talking about something not work related. I told him of the incident and said no it was specifically about my boyfriend. They also hung up on me.
mobile food ordering
I work third shift and have went to Sheetzin the past a had issues with them always either taking too long or messing up my order and I would always order my food with ample amount of time for it to be made by the time I get there. Tonight I got there after 15 minutes and my order wasn't ready, after waiting 10 more minutes I asked where my food was. I then became upset when after 15 minutes they tell me someone must have taken my food and another employee says they don't remember making it. So my order was bypassed and I left with no lunch and struggled to get my money back as the poor management told the cashier with poor hygiene how to do a return rather then come over and assist in a situation like is supposed to be done. Hospitality manager Jody hung out in the back until I got loud with the MTO manager for not helping and after leaving me with no lunch and no more break to even eat a lunch. Never seem to fail to mess up, first time I tried to go since last time.
taco salad
It has been a few years since I got the taco salad, but I used to think it was the best! There was a large amount of taco hamburger meat in the taco salad. I couldn't believe the tiny amount of taco meat paste on the taco salad I got tonight. How disappointing! I wish you would go back to actual hamburger meat so a customer knows there's actually meat in it. I don't see ordering another taco salad from Sheetz ever!
Put meat in the taco salad!
steak sandwich
I purchased a steak hoagie from sheetz located on route 21 in Pennsylvania. When I opened my sandwich I found a screw in it which apparently came from the machine. I don't understand why the person who wrapped the sandwich did not see the screw. I would like to be compensated for this inconvenience. I was on my lunch break at the time and did not have time to purchase lunch from another restaurant. You can contact me at [protected]. Thank you.

store manager very rude to customer
I was just at the Sheetz at3 522 Monongahela Blvd
Morgantown, WV 26505
at 5:15 on August 2018. A gentleman came in to purchase 2 cans of coors light from the store and the store manager (David) in a very degrading and demeaning manner told the gentleman that he could not purchase alcohol at that time (which not being able to purchase was fine). I myself wouldn't have known, but when this store manager David was asked by the customer about the necessity of his attitude he got vet aggressive calling the gentleman an alcoholic and to get out of his store. I witnessed the incident and his attitude was very disrespectful and uncalled for. Needless to say I probably won't be shopping at this sheetz again. Whatever happened to respect?!?
