Grey takkies
I bought a pair of unreal takkies on the 17th August and wore them two times and third time I wore them, the upper meterial opened, I was so very disappointed, I couldn't return it because I don't have the box, I bought them at Savanah Mall polokwane.I don't think it's fair to pay that much for a shoe that dnt last you for two weeks. I was so embarrassed when it happened because I was at the mall when it happened. I went inside ur shop again at mall of the north to buy another pair. Which I did but my feet are killingme even now. The brand Unreal is not a good brand, I just want to exchange my takkies and buy another brand. I tried to add the picture but it didn't allow me.
Desired outcome: Exchange
Refund voucher
Last year I bought a ladies boot of r699.00. I wore it once and I the boot was very uncomfortable and hard. I took it back was told they can't refund my money bit they will give me a voucher which is valid for 3 years. I bought another shoe of r299 and they gave me a voucher with the balance on. They voucher contains balance amount which shoe city owes me, I was not told to keep the sms which contains the voucher no on due to the slop fading over time. Today I went to the shop and purchased another boot of r599. Thinking I will use the voucher and pay in the difference. The lady asked for my slip and sms, I could not.provide the sms and she could not make out the voucher number on the faded slip. The lady at the Kenilworth branch tried everything phoned managers to see if they can assist me. My first purchased happened at canal walk and they did not advise that the sms should be kept as well. She spoke to multiple managers from different branches. And no one could assist me. I ended up paying the full amount of r599. I feel that this is unexceptable that the shop owes me money but I can't use it... imagine you go and spend money at a shop pays extra but they can't refund you, your own money back. Your system is unexceptable can't can't you issue a voucher card or capture the customers details on the system so when the customer returns ask for a ID or cell phone number to access the customer's vouchers money which the shop owes the customers. I would really like my money back asap. It learnt me a lesson not to purchase shoes at your shops again due to this flat in your system when it comes to refunds and vouchers.
Desired outcome: I want my money back
Returning a buccaneers school shoe that was poorly manufactured.
Returning a buccaneers school shoe yesterday (Sunday), at the Tygervalley shoe city branch, the store manager refused to assist until I requested her to contact the area manager. She reluctantly did so after first informing us that the area manager does not work on a Sunday. We returned to the store after 10 minutes, and as we approached the store, the she just walked out and indicated that a sales person will assist. This was done, with no explanation, or any other comments.
My husband returned to the store after about 10/15 minutes and was busy making another purchase, when the store manager returned. He told her it was all sorted. And she just walked off to the backroom without even commenting.
Shoecity, has always been known for their friendly staff that went out of their way to assist, but this type of service really was appalling. And after almost 24 years of being a customer I will definitely not be returning.
Desired outcome: Customer service to be improved

Refuse to let me exchange shoe size
I bought a pair of buccaneer school shoes for my 7yr old daughter from shoe city in clearwater mall. After 3 days of her wearing them it was evident that they were too small. I tried to exchange them and am told that I cannot get a bigger size because she's worn them and since it's not a quality issue they won't exchange them. And they want to know why it take so long to figure out its they wrong size, we'll maybe shoe city because my 7yr old didn't realize it was hurting her because it was small So basically they saying that if you made a mistake it's your problem and you must live with it. Goodbye money spent, and R400 at that. My question is this, say I took the right size but am not comfortable in the shoe I can't exchange it! That's ridiculous and really terrible service. I'm so so angry and disappointed. I'm done with shoe city, wow, thank you for the excellent customer service
Desired outcome: I want my money back
Online shopping
I placed and payed for an order online and after checkout your system had an error not processing my purchase. the money was happily received but now you don't have a completed purchase and i cant get a refund so now i have to query it with the bank that is going to cost me money and will take 14 days to get something back after the bank deducted their cost for investigating. This does not sit well with me
Desired outcome: full refund
shoes
Bought shoes and was never given a slip, realised I didn't like shoes that much decided to return them and then I was forced to take another pair as if it was my fault that they didn't put a slip in the plastic as I realised when I got home. I took as they didn't want refund me then I asked for the slip after paying which they refused to give me. The service is poor and not friendly plus attitude. Angry client.
exchange declined
Bought a new handbag on 12 january 2013. I paid r180.00 for this bag. Within a few months the straps of the hand bag tore out. Saturday 28/7/2013 I visited shoe city in brakpan. I spoke to a thabo [protected]) who was not very keen to help. I showed him the fault on the bag and asked him if this can be exchanged for another one. They had the exact same one in the store at that moment. According to him shoe city cannot exchange or refunded any item after 30 days. They only have a 30 day guarantee. This is unacceptable for me as the items are expensive. So any item that a person buys at shoe city must only last for 30 days. The quality of their items are very poor. I would not recommend any one to buy at shoe city as the personnel are rude and the quality if poor.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Bad service and attitude, when a BRAND NEW PAIR OF HIGH HEALS gets damaged in the first hour of wearing it, now its said that its neglegance on the customer's side, my lawyers are busy with the case, but i need more details for the suit to go to...
