carragher & neville
Hi Sky Sports
I love every moment of Sky Sports, mainly football as I love football, I love and support Bolton Wanderers as do my two lads, I have supported them since I was 9 years old and I am now 48, my lads follow suit and I am very disciplined towards them that they must show the utmost respect to fellow supporters no matter what our team does result wise, our current situation is in the lower reaches of the Championship, my lads realise our current situation and understand the meaning of respect, but how Jamie Carragher & Gary Neville nit pick at each other like two school kids, my youngest lad Ashley is 12 years old and even said "Dad why would two former professionall players argue like school kids, they're not a good example are they?" what a great statement from a 12 year old lad! Carragher & Neville are very very bad examples from a Sky Sports point of view to display so much negativity and clearly express hatred for their own rival teams, it is not a very good advertisement from Sky Sports that what our own kids watch every week when former players should lead by example, not display bad attitudes especially on tv, they are terrible examples to our younger and future generation, we've had far too much negativity in the past with our England, we shouldn't be hearing it at cub level.
Kind regards
James Derby
jamie carragher
Shame on you Sky Sports for allowing Jamie Carragher back on our screens, after spitting on a child. Jamie Carragher himself commented how disgusting it was for someone to do this whilst watching a footballer do this in a game . I can not believe you have allowed that excuse of a man to continue commentating . He is not even any good at it and is very dull to listen too.
You should listen to your paying viewers a little more, most people are very unhappy with his return.
Over a period of time most of your best women presenters have left under a cloud ie Natalie Sawyer and maybe even Kirsty Gallagher and Georgie Thompson could full into this category, but sky have painted over the issue quiet well. From where I am sitting it looks like the boys looking after each other, otherwise why else would Jamie Carragher still be on sky. I would not normally use the sexist card but I can not come to any rational reason why he still has a job. Please remove this man from our screens.
Totally agree, disgusting man and absolutely awful to listen to 😡😡😡
test cricket
Could you please take that awful women off the commentary team for test cricket. She may be technically competant but she is so DULL. For over fifty years my wife and I have enjoyed the banter, jokes and cricket stories from the commentary team but it seems that Sky needs to be PC and spoil the audience's enjoyment of the game. I notice this trend has suddenly occurred both at Sky, the BBC and BT Sport. Such a shame that this is now putting us off watching cricket on TV.
I quite aggre with the comment about the test match commentary. The normal team are brilliant but these Asian guests think they have to talk all the time. The best commentator ever was Richie Benaud and he said don't state the obvious. Please could you ask Sir Ian to have a quiet word. We mute the sound when they are on air. My wife and I are avid watchers and these people are ruining our cricket. M&S
football commentary
The Biased commentary of the Wolves vs Everton was unprecedented. The Commentator in question must be a Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter. The difference in the commentary between the goals of both sides was ‘staggering'. Muted commentary for both the Everton goals, however on the other side ...:over the top excitement for both Wolves goals. Surely as a world class sporting broadcaster, the aim for sporting commentators is to be impartial?!
His celebration in his team scoring was embarrassing.
I would like to make this observation I am a Leeds united fan now for 32 years is it coincidence that sky sports have Donald ralph Goodman commentating on every game. Yes he is from Leeds but clearly has a deep grievance towards the club. Am I correct in thinking he is a commentator so to a degree should leave his personal grievance against Leeds united football club in his personal life, where it belongs 30 years prior where we chose against signing him on professional terms as he wasn't good enough. This was a decision made purely on ability nothing personal I might add.
Clearly to Don this must be a extremely tough pill to swallow! but like this evening we Leeds united came from behind twice to secure a point away to Swansea to go top of the sky bet championship Sir Don's comments again negative and totally unnecessary maybe he needs to be told he is a pundit so should just comment on the football being played in front of him and should leave personal issues in the 1970's / 1980's p.s I really don't think anything that actually comes out of his mouth actually makes much sense! The only thing I get out of what he says is I'm bitter for being dropped by Leeds united ! get a life Don move on. What I do expect from sky T.v being a paying customer is to have a pundit who is impartial who talks sense I'm very disappointed with sky Don Goodman is shocking and should be struck off I very much doubt I'm the first to say this !
sky football
Why has that disgusting individual, Jamie Carragher, be aloud to creep back on to Sky Sports again. The spitting incident showed a total lack of judgement as well as a total lack of respect for other people. It is a bad example to youngsters and teens showing there is no penalty for terrible behaviour towards others.
Why do you think anyone would want to listen to anything has to say?
jamie carragher
I was shocked to see that Jamie Carragher was back working for Sky.
Andy Grey & Richard Keys were dismissed for making derogatory comments about a female assistant referee. Carragher spits at a 14 year old girl & gets his job back a few months later!
Can you please explain the double standards?
What sort of example is this setting for young people who presumably see that this sort of vile behaviour is acceptable?
There are plenty of ex players that could do this job just as well if not better.
People tune in to watch the match not t listen to an individual whose behaviour is just vile.
sky sports football
Absolutely disgusted with your coverage of Man U v Leicester, you may as well called it Man U v some other team! Totally biased views from Neville and the rest of them so called pundits, from start to finish it was Man U Man U Man U as if there was only one team playing! How you dong get investigated I don't know, your football page online is all Man U too. You need to take a real good look at yourselves as ordinary people pay hard earned money to watch your tv and don't need biased commentary!

premier league game, friday 10th august
I object very much to the inclusion of Jamie Gallagher in the commentary team, his 'spitting' behaviour last season was disgraceful, he should not be in the public domain!
What message does this give, that spitting when done by a 'celebrity ' is not thst important!
The fact that he is only a mediocre commentator at the best of times surely is enough to question his inclusion anyway.
However it is his 'role model' influence that is the most worrying, 'if Jamie Gallagher can spit at someone then so can I'. What message does that give to our young people?
Can't stand the man and even more so after his disgusting behaviour 😡😡😡
why is jamie carragher commentating on man united. he is a disgrace and should never commentate on a man utd game ever!!
Given his spitting disgrace last season I can see no justification in him being a commentator at all. And certainly not the first game of the season game at Old Trafford.
Where are your values. It's a disgrace
He is an atrocious role model and should have been sacked. To let him return is unacceptable to bring him to Old Trafford is outrageous.
Where are Sky's Ethics- you should be setting an example.
By re-employing Jamie Carragher sky condones his actions in spitting at a fourteen year old girl. I do not want to look at or listen to someone capable of doing this. . I will be leavingg Sky as soon as is humanly possible,
Jamie Carragher should NEVER be allowed on TV again. He is a disgrace and SKY should be ashamed of themselves for employing a person who SPITS ON CHI:DREN. Get rid of this obnoxious excuse for a human being NOW.
Why are Sky Sports preserving with Jamie Carragher ? This tells me a lot about Sky Sports Brand Values. The guy should have been sacked immediately, Sky obviously fully condone his behaviour.
Very very disappointed to see Carragher back on Sky Sports. What message is Sky sending out?
I agree 100% its a disgrace that Sky have kept him on
I cannot believe that sky sports have re employed Jamie Carragher as a commentator. In doing this Sky as an organisation are basically stating that if your rich or famous enough then you can get away with anything and in bringing him back you have condoning his behaviour. Whatever happened to standards.
vitality t20
I was watching the T20 blast match between Somerset and Middlesex on 29th July. Rain had stopped play which was scheduled to resume at 7pm. I was astonished to see the commentary unceremoniously unplugged and the cricket broadcast terminated at 7pm and replaced by darts. Despite searching all the sky sports channels the cricket was no longer available. Surely this is not acceptable broadcasting practice and some warning of termination should have been given. The match eventually finished around 7.40 pm. What a disappointment that sky could not find a vacant channel to continue the cricket broadcast on. Makes me question why I continue to subscribe
sky sports golf commentator butch harmon
Sky sports golf commentator Butch Harmon - unable to pronounce names!
If he is able to coach and teach to some of the biggest players in the golfing world, then he should make the effort and have the decency of pronouncing players name. Yesterday at around 5pm he could not say the Thai professional golfer Kiradech Aphibarnrat's name. He call him Api! Not Only is that rude but on the verge of being racist . He should make a public apology throughout today's broadcast so that viewers, including me, can witness it at some point during the day. He has done this before and I am disgusted that sky sports allow it.
match commentary
16.6.18 Australia v Ireland rugby union international test match
Your principal commentator (Greg Clark) just doesn't know when to stop talking, it's infuriating and ruins the enjoyment of just watching the game, he's constantly coming up with facts and statistics, at one point even mentioning a new scrum cap of one of the players having new velcro to secure it to his head !
A reduction in talking would be appreciated.
One example of the issue I raise is where the commentary team continue to talk when the referee is communicating with the players and making explanations of the play and his decisions. A solution would be the capability to enable the viewer to switch to referee microphone only. Is this something that your transmission technology can provide?
scottish rugby
Dear Sir/Madam,
I pay £71.50 per month to watch Sky Sports because that is the way that Sky have set it up. I cannot just pay for the sports, therefore I have to have packages that I do not necessarily need or want.
My particular sport is rugby and being a Scot I like to watch the Glasgow & Edinburgh home and away matches from the Pro 14 and European competitions.
There isn't as much hype (if any) over Scottish rugby as there is over English, Irish and Welsh International rugby which was plain to see when you take this weekend as an example.
You broadcast the England game, Irish game, Welsh game and even the French game, however where was the Scotland v Canada match? I couldn't even find any highlights of this match but your channels were inundated with re-runs of the previously mentioned games.
When will I get my money's worth of Scottish International games? I should say (if it makes any difference) that I currently reside in Wales.
Regards,
Ian Crawford

Hi Johny Gould should check his facts before slagging off Birmingham City as winning nothing for 100 years before winning the Carlin Cup in 2011, Birmingham City beat his team Aston Villa 3-1 in the FINAL of the same competition in 1963, He can put this FACT towards his better football education

interview with eddie jones
I believe Sara Elgan interviewed the England coach.
It was a fantastic game of rugby both teams trying to win it and unfortunately England lost. Probably one of the most exciting rugby games ever.
Sara's attack on England and why it's all wrong and how hopeless and bad we are was simply trying to provoke a reaction out of Eddie Jones... no other country interviews their rugby coaches like this.
We are currently ranked 3rd in the world so please can we please have a balanced interview rather that just trying to upset and get a rise out of the coach. Don't mind it being tough just not one track...
I wouldn't blame Eddie Jones if he refused to do an interview with her again.
gary neville
Gary Neville took to Twitter to air his delight in a football teams loss. This being a rival of a team he admits to supporting but surely doing something so publicly asks the question of his integrity as a football pundit. We all are very aware that pundits all support a team but they tend to keep their personal opinions to themselves. I think that his gives a very bad impression of sky sports for allowing these kinds of comments to go unpunished.
Why is it every game the camera has to go on the crowd or the managers stay there for a while so the commentators fan talk about it and so we miss some of game.I pay to watch football not the crowd or the managers
tennis commentaries
I am not happy listening to Mark Petchey's technicalities and deep analysis that he tries to saturate us with. I much prefer the more laid back assessments given by Barry Cowan during a tennis match.Mark is quite often so wrapped up in his own statistics, he waffles on quite often while the game is going on. I think he should be left back in the studio to disect after or before matches.
I couldn't agree more. My wife and I used to really enjoy the tennis, but with Mark Petchey constantly spouting stats and other rubbish, I usually leave the room. Most annoying as we have to pay a premium to listen to him and his drivel.
Unfortunately it is not just the tennis. Somehow Sky have managed to employ the most talentless commentators out there in most sports. Why should we have to listen to them. At the very least could they supply us with the option of muting the commentary so we can just enjoy the sports with crowd noise.
sky sports
I currently have sky sports via TalkTalk TV, and have had Sky TV with sports package in the past. I am a big fan of US MLS, and over the last few years sky have shown 'many' of these games live. This season/year I have quickly discovered that these games are almost none existent! I would like to know if skysports are going to be giving this some thought as to bringing them back? If not, I will no longer be renewing my subscription moving forward as these are the games I want and enjoy.
I am as a paying customer rather disappointed at this years football program line up! limited at most I have to say!
It is a shame to be honest, as on social media many many people are asking/stating the same in relation to this concern/question I have.
I/We await your response and feedback in relation to this.
Many Thanks in advance,
Mr Hinchey

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is my second e-mail. No feedback given from my first complaint!
I pay for Sky Sports. Throughout the year you have been showing the same program on more than 1 channel frequently. This is an absolute disgrace especially with how expensive the package is. I would appreciate someone to take my complaint seriously
Kind regards

I cannot understand how you can have this person on your TV, when he left his Ex wife for dead. It was all over the papers and internet. Also being in Court for Fruad. Leaving his first Ex wife with children. Also being in prison twice, he always looks drunk or on drugs on the TV. People like him should not be in front of millions of people he is a disgrace. A lot of people switch of when he is on. Please get rid of him and put someone respectable in his place.
monte carlo atp commentaries
April 20th - Gasquet v Zverev & Nishikori v Cilic
April 21st - Nadal v Dimitrov
Please please PLEASE tell/ instruct Peter Fleming and Mark Petchey that they talked far too much during the above matches. Their constant prattle completely stopped enjoyment of the match. They often continued to talk during service and play - really annoying. They do not seem to understand that their job is to commentate on the match and NOT have a conversation. This is the second time I have complained about their commentating - please give them some training!
Kate Boulter
I totally Agree, when mark petchy and peter Fleming are commendation they never stop talking, I have had to resort to watching with the sound muted. Mark petchy has taken all the enjoyment away from the match. He just drones on and on talking nonsense most of the time.
While you are at it ! Could you please remove Greg Rusesky from the tennis commentary team and replace him with Henri La Conte. A joy to see and listen to at Monte Carlo. Knowledgeable, bags of personality and fun. Unlike nasal, self opinionated, argumentative Greg !
