Sky Sports sky f1 commentary is inaudible

The commentary on Sky F1 coverage is mostly completely inaudible because the background sound completely overwhelms it. It is FAR too loud and intrusive. Compare the Channel 4 coverage which has background engine sound BUT the commentary is audible.
Might I suggest that the background sound be turned down so that your viewers can actually hear what Martin Brundle and David Croft are saying. As it is I much prefer the Channel 4 coverage.

Sky Sports sky sports

I am a Millwall supporter who arranged to watch the Middlesborough game at The Riverside on the 28th of April. My 2 brothers and I have paid for return flights to Newcastle and hired a car to drive to Middlesborough and return on an evening flight. You have now changed the Kick Off time to 5.30 which would mean us leaving the game at half time to catch the flight back! We have contacted British Airways and they want another £600 to change these flights!
As we cannot a flight back on the Saturday we would have to get a hotel for the night which is going to cost another £200! I assume that Sky Sports will re-imburse us for this cost?

I am just watching Live ATP500 Bar elona, and as usual the commentators are babbling on regardless of the players. Are we REALLY interested in what's on offer for lunch there. Surely it is rude and disrespectful to be chattering about the statistics of other players whilst the match is in progress, and especially whilst they are a tually playing. For goodness sake let us enjoy the actual tennis.

Sky Sports studio pundits bias post match coverage to tottenham

Dear Sirs
Re the Chelsea v Tottenham match - pundit coverage 1/4/18
I feel I must put into words the disappointment I have experienced today with Sky Sports on Sunday .

Yes I am a loyal Chelsea fan, so yes the result is a sensitive issue to me, but agree a deserved result due to their poor form of current play and attitude . But I am also a long life sports fan and a Sky Sports customer for many years . Also I acknowledging the recent increase to all Sky subscriptions including Sky Sports hence why this is my first customer feedback experience .

This may seem a insignificant item in your great scheme of things ... but I have been so disappointed, I know my complaint is lengthy but this is the 1st time I have felt so strongly to share my experience from today .

My issue is 3 fold
1st, the studio pundits for this game were Jamaine Defoe, Jamie Rednap and Thierry Henry... every football fan even outside London would immediately spot the problem and smell a rat !
A ‘slight' bias feedback to the game maybe anticipated ?
This is not acceptable.

2nd, I am well aware that the gentlemen mentioned above are on your Sky pay roll ... the absence of a represent to cover the ‘Chelsea camp' perspective was concerning ? No balance to the coverage, it stated as 3 to nil re the amount of Tottenham support versus none form Chelsea .

A balanced view presented to the the fans about state of affairs must always be most important priority .
Surely this is not fair play ... not a neutral coverage as per the standard I expect from Sky ?

3rd, post match the first mention that Chelsea had was at 18.30 pm
Which took approximately 8 minutes which included the CFC managers interview
Yes I agree Chelsea's performance was horrendous ... but a lot was at stake for both teams more so for Chelsea ... and hardly a mention

Yes agree today the Spurs fans deserved their celebrations, i have experienced it the other way on previous occasions ... but my main feedback from personal experience today is about the lack of respect for the losing fans ... especially those that were not at the game, hence the power of your screening, coverage and comment is all they have .

I am a season ticket holder but was unable to attend today, hence watching every second of your Sky coverage live rather than recorded for when I got home ...

The post match postmortem was so bias in favour of yes I agree the winners, Tottenham ...but your entire panel of pundits were former club players or opposing team ie Arsenal ...this only created prejudice against the home team, yes the losers, but their analysis had no respect to the real victims of the loss... the fans ... for what ever on earth is going on within CFC it's not their fault .

Sky sports has been celebrated for its research, neutrality and controversial analysis, but this general standard was not evident today . Tottenham's quality was exaggerated by the poor standard of the opposition.

The pundits passion for Tottenham was evident but the huge coverage with over-joyful celebrations and time to cover the Spurs element of the game, was not acceptable but what was most upsetting was their attitude rather than their ability to critique a football game fairly .

Please do not dismiss this as a emotional rant from a losing fan ... this is feedback from a true football fan, a committed Sky customer that is feeling very let down by Sky Sports today ... hence my first ever written complaint, please let this be my last experience of complaining, thank you for your time .

A reply at your convenience would be appreciated, mainly on the status of not providing a neural or fair representation on all off the above, especially at high profile matches such as today .

Thank you

Regards
Bernadette Lee

Sky Sports sky sports player app never works

Ever since Sky introduced the Sports Player App I haven't been able to watch Sky sports on my laptop.

They have introduced a New Sports Player App which I have just installed and it still doesn't work - showing error code 9500.

I subscribe through Virgin Media and as such am finding it very difficult to complain.

Sky sports is very expensive and this consistent error/problem is going to cause me to cancel my subscription.

Sky Sports golf coverage

What does Sky Golf channel NEVER show the winner of tournaments receiving the trophy. At the Masters they show the winner getting a green jacket in the Butler Cabin, but never outside in front of the crowd. In recent non major tournaments in Mexico and the Arnold Palmer Invitational they interviewed the winner, but again omitted to show the presentation despite having sufficient time before the following 'recorded highlights' programme.

This is like watching the Champions League/FA Cup Final then not showing the team recieving the trophy. Its very annoying and spoiling my enjoyment of the channel i 'pay' to watch. Not good enough Sky.

Sky Sports broadcast

I was shocked and horrified that the comintater for the Rangers/Celtic game say ". The referee for the match was a religious affairs teacher you couldn't make that up". I think that was a shocking and unnecessary thing to say as football has nothing to do with religion, but on a game like that some people make it so, and it doesn't help when Sky make it acceptable to do so as well!

Sky Sports jamie carragher

I am absolutely disgusted to hear that Jamie Carragher has only been suspended till the end of the season with intention to starting 'afresh' next season.

Although a disgusting act, l am delighted the victim had video footage because no doubt Jamie would have denied this act.

He is a man and a father so what example is he setting get him out. Get someone new in, surely there are others who can do his job if not better.
Sky is not a two bit company they should employee people with excellent skill set along with intergrity to represent the Sky name. Sky needs to make an of example of this and show that these celebrities don't make Sky - Sky makes celebrities.

I am sick of these pundits apologising for an 'act of madness' and getting away with it. If this act was commited by an ex black footballer like lan Wright or Thierry Henry they would have been sacked.

When will these pundits learn that their job carries responsibilities.

I am really considering to start a petition to get Jamie out and encourage others to leave Sky - we should not be supporting a business that thinks it's ok for a man to spit on a young girls face and get away with it.

Last time l looked we the subscribers pay for Sky - Sky don't pay us.

This man should never be allowed back on tv. His behaviour was disgraceful and he is a terrible example for kids watching football today. I am watching the match at the moment and feel very tempted to turn off, I certainly couldn't watch the half time review. Please re-think and get him off.

Appalled that Jamie Carragher is back on sky sports. Spitting at a child is a dispicable thing to do and he should never work on TV again. I don't think I will ever be able to enjoy football on sky as much as I used to thanks to him. I hope on reflection sky tv are embarrassed, they should be.

Sky Sports jamie carragher

Having heard about the spitting incident I just presumed that he had been provoked, but after watching it, it is apparent that Carragher is out of order, I could put my opinion of him much stronger than that, but do not want to get into that.
I have the full sky package at home, but do not want to see Carragher on my screen again, will cancel it if Sky continue to employ him.
Nobody should behave like that, his whole legacy will be that image of him spitting on a young girl.

Are Sky planning to sack him for this disgusting behaviour which reflects so badly on our society. I think in the past he has commented on a former Africa Liverpool player the exact same thing. Its sickening what he's done.
The police are trying to reduce this type of behaviour amongst young people. This pseudo celebrity makes their job impossible.

Any of the Sky employees who behave as Jamie Carragher has done - should be sacked immediately. This won't go away after the suspension time expires. I have had Sky since 1989 and like others have to accept or leave if we can't afford the increasing subscriptions. Now I know that Jamie Carragher earns at least £1M a year - and we the subscribers pay for this stupid individual to earn that amount of money - this is a disgrace and Sky should do the right thing and sack him immediately. Sky should also look at the vast amounts of money it is paying their employees - loyalty of the subscribers only goes so far.

Talk about what comes around. Jamie Carragher has not only lowered the Sky Sports image by spitting into another car whilst driving. What he did show was the type of character he is and this seems to also reflect on his work that he does for sky sports. The one recently where he showed his true colours by demanding Arsene Wenger should be sacked for what he called his failings.
Now he is in the same position and I feel he should resign.

What Jamie Carragher has done is discusting and shows his real colours, spitting is a vial and demeaning thing to do. He denied seeing the young girl which is hard to believe given how close he was! I actually liked him as a pundit but I will never listen to him again, how can he possibly be in anyway impartial. In any other job he would be immediately dismissed. If you keep him on you will be condoning his behaviour. His interview on sky earlier was arrogant, he’s said sorry but he isn’t ‘doing’ sorry.

Sky Sports jamie carragher spitting at teenager

I think your presenters should be setting examples for younger people not spitting on them. I am totally disgusted, it's all been recorded on video, what are you doing about this? Shameful. This is what the police say about spitting,
"In most cases, spitting if done deliberately will be an assault. However, if it is accidental then it will not be an assault." So he has assaulted a teenager, this needs to properly addressed so it doesn't happen again.

Sky Sports graham smith comments

Graham Smith comments on Keshav Maharaj was the most insulting. Language such as Brain dead, [censor] and stupid. This is hurtful demeaning comments. There is still racial tensions in South Africa and this is the root cause for Grahams comments. Since when did SKY TV allowed dictators a licence to abuse non white cricketers publically or on TV. I am a South African living in the UK and disappointed that SKY has allowed this kind of abuse by dictators on TV.

Sky Sports super sunday soccer betting advert at halftime

Hi there,

my 5 year was glued to the football today. At half time an advert was shown for a betting company (possibly Paddy Power) where a mobile phone app user was walking through a temple in a scene similar to an Indiana Jones movie. As he was betting on the app he was triggering booby traps which were a bit frightening. One in particular, when spiked walls closed in on an individual and the scene switched suggesting the man got crushed. This gave my son nightmares that night. I think the placement of the advert should be reviewed.

Sky Sports gary neville - commentator

Carabao Cup - Manchester City v Arsenal

I have never done this before but I am absolutely appalled with the outrageous rudeness of Gary Neville the commentator. He was extremely biased. Yes we were able to see for ourselves that Arsenal were not playing to their best but Gary Neville was constantly saying negative things throughout the whole game. He kept repeating himself, he only had to make the comment once. Does he not realise that children watch these games and my children are great Arsenal fans, even belonging to Junior Gunners. The negativity which all these ex professional footballers seem to do and say is not setting a very good example. For example, it got to the point where my son aged 10 was so upset he shouted out to the TV "Please shut up". Why is everybody always targeting Arsenal. I cant remember Chelsea having the same sort of criticism when one year they were champions and then the next they were more than half way down the table. As my mother said years ago the Commentators were not biased and you never felt they were favouring one team over another. Why is it that the ex Arsenal players are also so negative towards the team and Manager. Every day my children are reading negative information about Arsenal. I am sure that when Arsene Wenger actually does leave hopefully being his decision, all you Professionals will then turn round and say what an amazing Manager he has been for the past 21 years.

I know that children have to learn about losing as well as winning but the negativity for 90 minutes was just overkill.

I hope for the sake of Gary Neville that in the future he will stop and think who is listening to his commentating especially when children are watching and are passionate about football. I just hope that the ex professionals who are commentating tonight will take this on board as the negativity in the press is bad enough as it is.

Gary Neville's commentary during the League Cup Final on sky sports quite frankly ruined the viewing experience. From the start he just could not remain impartial and offer running currently as appropriate. He just kept talking and talking, spewing mainly negative unhelful, useless opinions. Better decisions have to be made about commentators in the future...

Sky Sports biased boring gary neville

Omg who on earth gave Gary Neville a job. He is not impartial and his commentary is so one sided.it was clear from before the game even started he didn't like arsenal and made it obvious throughout the game time and time again. Yes arsenal didn't play the game as they should of and we could all see that for ourselves without him running every single arsenal player down. He was an average footballer and and even worse commentator

Sky Sports sky sports commentary

Gary Neville's commentary in the face of Martin Tyler's factual, interesting, fair statements is a disgrace. He is biased, rude and demeaning, and does not deserve the privelege of commentating on the football you provide. Please, for our, the viewers' sake, stop giving him this privelege and reserve the position for respectful, interesting commentators.

Sky Sports gary neville

Gary Neville is totally disgraceful as a commentator. He does not talk about the game, he criticises the loosing team, in particular Arsenal at the final cup. The way he criticised Arsenal when he saw a child crying saying " this is what you get" is a disgrace. If he is not capable of being objective he should be fired by sky.
He said 3 times disgrace in the same sentence for Arsenal, the only disgrace I see is Mr Neville !

Please please can we get a commentator that is neutral. It's disgusting that Gary Neville is so against arsenal. He just admitted that he doesn't like arsenal so why is he commentating on it? He only says the same thing over and over. It's disgusting and not Right.

I've never experienced listening to a one side view on the Man City v Arsenal carabao cup final. All he did was criticise Arsenal for the hole of the match.
I went to the match & watched it on tv the next day. I have played football at a reasonable level and sat in line with the mustafi/aguero incident. Gary said no foul. I said at the time clear foul and the linesman did not raise his flag who was in front of me. If it is not a foul then what is it. Yes mustafi was out of position but it is clear from the side that aguero moved forward into mustafi. Again through the tv sane when the first shot was made he was interfeering with the view off the goalkeeper and thats a fact. Gary again said not for me.
I think Gary has a lot to learn with his commentating skills and I am sure he spoilt many viewers who sat down to watch the carabao cup final with 90 mins of unnecessary criticism.
Also it would be nice to see a legend at arsenal henry make his point in supporting arsenal on the mustafi/aguero + sane incidents instead of changing the answer to his way of thinking

Something must be done about Gary Nevilles approach to commentating which is absolutely appalling .
The entire match today( Man City v Arsenal )and previous ones I have watched is NOT about the match but a continual critique of the players and one team especially which is Arsenal .takes away the enjoyment of the viewing public . It is a total disgrace, that he is allowed to show such bias and lack of respect to individuals . His style of delivery is woeful and I am considering a rethink about my subscription due to his continued presence and biased delivery . I have to say ALL the other commentators are extremely informative and fair in their assessments .
Please can something be done about this . .

Absolutely fed up of Gary Neville and his totally negative comments right through the match I am a neutral watcher as I support Newcastle so I honestly have had the game ruined by his constant complaining all through the the game
We all know that sometimes a team don't turn up as if they have never played together and if the other team are on form it makes them look worse
We have got eyes and can make our own minds up so certainly don't need his miserable biased attitude against Arsenal for at least half the game ruining the match We pay to watch Sky Sports so deserve more

I pay money for Sky Sports specifically for the football coverage. I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription due to GARY NEVILLE. He is dull and only brings negativity to the games he commentates on. His limited vocabulary and outdated knowledge of the game forces him resort to insulting players that are so much more advanced than he ever was. If only he had been a better manager we may have been spared the mind numbing commentary he now gives. In my opinion the only one who is a disgrace and pathetic is the one and only (thank goodness) Mr Neville. Off to consider my monthly subscription!

Sky Sports co-commentator gary neville

Today, I watched the Man Utd vs Newcastle match on Sky. The main commentator is so good, but there are numerous mumbled interjections by Gary Neville. He just says words - not sentences, and if one can work out what he is talking about, it is meaningless. Please get rid of him.
