Well, right now my wife and I are pleased with our new washer and dryer
Well, right now my wife and I are pleased with our new washer and dryer. We live in an older double-wide manufactured home and we aren't able to have as much flexibility in regards to the size of the newer washer and dryers however we did find LG models that are right. We've been through the selection of two other brands of front-loading washers that just wouldn't fit as they were too deep. The LG washer we finally settled on, with the help of the sales staff at the Mesa Store, a 5.5 cu ft, big enough to wash a king-size bed comforter properly. They were great about helping us get the right washer. DELIVERY! When they delivered the washer and dryer we ran into an unexpected issue with the dryer. The exhaust vent of the dryer is dead center at the bottom of the dryer. When trying to place the dryer, the exhaust hose went right up against the gas line coming through the floor. The delivery guys tried to come up with an answer, but there was no simple solution they could do. I told them just to leave the washer and dryer and I figure it out with my contractor/plumber. My plumber came by the next morning and came up with an easy solution of bringing the water lines up and placing the dryer on the left, under them, and then put the washer on the right. The vent line and gas line are clear and done. Now the only thing I would like is for Spencers to send someone out to level the washer since they couldn't do that yesterday when it was delivered. No one had any idea that the vent at the bottom of the dryer was going to push up against the gas line in the floor.
We purchased a GE Profile refrigerator in Nobvember of 2021 for $1700
We purchased a GE Profile refrigerator in Nobvember of 2021 for $1700. We also purchased an extended warranty. We had done a fair amount of business with Spencers in the past without any issues. Within the first six months one of the drawers broke and we called our sales person and told what had occurred. We assumed this was covered under warranty. The salesman promised he would look into getting a new drawer. Several months went by and we contacted him several times to see what the status was. Another drawer broke a couple of months later (also during the first year) and we notified him of this also. He gave us the phone number for GE parts and service and we called them four times staying on hold for long extended periods. We finally contacted a lady who promptly put us on hold for nearly 30 minutes and then the call was lost. We again called and told advised our salesperson that a 2nd drawer had broken. It wasnt until today that we were advised he was not successful in any resolution with GE and that the drawers were not covered under the warranty. No help was offered after that. Why we werent advised of all this in the first place thus helping us avoid all the phone calls and wasted time with Spencers as well as GE? Talk about disappointed with Spencers after all the business we had done with them! There is no other way to describe this ordeal other than terrible service. Note: during this same time we also purchased a new washer and dryer. We really felt like we were loyal customers and deserved much better service than we received. When we remodel our kitchen well strongly consider doing business elsewhere.
I am a new customer to the company after being referred by several people. I will return again. Installation time was prompt and at my convenience. The technician was friendly and did a great job including explaining and cleaning up. Great all around experience.
I ordered a stacked gas washer dryer from Spencer's TV & Appliance on December 2, 2022, for my condo which is on the third floor. The first of five deliveries was made on December 7, 2022, and I was informed by the delivery person that our water valves were frozen and that we needed a plumber to fix them. We found a plumber on Craigslist who indicated the valves were not frozen but replaced them anyway.
The second delivery occurred on December 10, 2022, and this time the delivery person said they could not install because the gas line was stuck and required a plumber to unhook it, which was never mentioned on the first delivery. The plumber came out again and easily unhooked the gas line. Spencer's TV & Appliance delivered a faulty unit on December 14, 2022, but claimed that it was the gas line issue after it had already been replaced. They delivered a dented unit on December 20, 2022, on the fourth attempt.
The unit we originally ordered back on December 2, 2022, was sold out, so Spencer's TV & Appliance could now only deliver a more expensive model, which we had to pay for because other stores could not make the delivery right away and we had been without a washer for over 18 days. I just want to report the negligence of the store so other consumers do not have to deal with what we are going through.
I need to talk with a supervisor please due to customer service.
Walked in ans found what we needed in less than 10 mins. Nice and helpful employee. Install was on time and quick!
Years ago, I bought all new appliances from Spencer's
Years ago, I bought all new appliances from Spencer's. They sent an installer. The oven space ended up being different than the original one, so there was an open space under my oven. The installer sent by Spencer's charged me an additional $60 to create a metal plate to cover that gap. He disappeared, with my money. I told Spencer's about it. They said they would take care of it, but never did. A few months ago, I decided I wanted to switch out my gas range for an electric one. In a conversation with Shane, he said an electric range needed a certain kind of electricity. I said I have a big box and a 3 prong outlet underneath my stone, is that good enough? He said 'yes.' So, we scheduled someone to come out. Cost me $30. He determined that I did NOT have the right electricity and it would cost me $3,000 to get the right kind of electricity. I told him I wasn't going to pay that in order to run the right electricity to this range. He took measurements while he was there. Today, I need a new built in refrigerator/freezer, a possible $10,000 item. I called and told someone the story about the $30 I spent for nothing as I wasn't going to buy an electric range and I didn't need another gas range. He said 'well, because he took measurements, I can't credit you that $30.' I said 'ok, I guess I'll go to ***.' I would have never had someone come out to take measurements if I knew that I could NOT accommodate an electric range. It was Shane who told me that, by my description, I had appropriate electricity for an electric range. BTW...I spent $350 to have custom wood doors replace that gap underneath the oven in that other house. I didn't get a penny for that from Spencer's.
Spencer's may have the best price and you may be very pleased as long as you don't have a defective appliance because if you do, they are not
Spencer's may have the best price and you may be very pleased as long as you don't have a defective appliance because if you do, they are not willing to help. I would advise people to be aware of how badly Spencer's treat their customers, I will never again buy an appliance from them. I purchased a Kitchen Aid Microwave/Oven 13 January and it would not start. Initially, I thought that I was not programing it correctly and after spending an entire day reading the instruction book and it still did not work, I decided to call Kitchen Aid Service and Support to walk me thru the process. Microwave/Oven combo was reset but still it did not work. On 28 January, Warranty Company sent out a technician. Apparently, oven had to be taken apart to install a new piece. I spoke with two other microwave technicians and was advised that it would be best to have this new appliance replaced because once you have problems, you will continue to have problems. Since it was a brand new oven, I did not agree for technician to take apart to replace part. I called Spencer's and explained that I wanted a replacement and did not want oven repaired. I was told that they would have to call headquarters and a few days later was told that I needed to have it repaired and then they would contact Whirlpool Corporation to see what could be done. I refused to have it repaired because I figured that by having it repaired that meant that I was accepting the oven. Because salesperson (Kevin C) and manager were giving me the run around, I decided to contact Whirlpool Corporation my self and explained my situation. They could not have been any nicer! I was told that they would handle everything and they would replace my microwave/oven combo, which they did. I am so glad that I took it upon myself to contact Whirlpool Corporation.
This company has been a pain to deal with
This company has been a pain to deal with. I ordered two refrigerators and from the very beginning one has been a lemon. They are slow to respond IF they respond. Needless to say, its been 9 months and it still does not work. When I call customer service I do not get anyone and when I do they say they will call back and they never do. The sales person was only interested in selling the appliances, seeing's how he has not helped me get a solution to these issues. Below is an email I sent the President *** to only get my email rejected. Beware of doing business with them. This is just my story and want to advise others of my experience. Good Morning All,I want to take a moment to stress my frustration with my current experience with Spencer's TV & Appliance. I purchased 2 refrigerators on 3/18. From the very beginning I have had problem after problem with one of the refrigerators. I have had to miss work on several occasions to meet Goldwing Appliance at my home to have them simply tell me it's fixed or they are ordering parts and they do not fix the issues. I have been calling customer service and I get nowhere. I have been living with a refrigerator that is not working properly for the past 9 months and any time I call to get it resolved I either can not get through to anyone or they say they will call me back. You can see the growing frustration with my experience at this point. Not only did the one refrigerator that I ordered not work, now the 2nd one that I purchased at the same time is giving me issues with the ice machine. As a single mom with a single income it becomes difficult to meet 3rd party vendors at my house resulting in me missing work to not have the issues resolved. I am asking that I please get a solution to this problem immediately. I have been patient enough throughout this time, probably too patient and now I am in this situation. I would appreciate a call today to get a solution to this ongoing issue.
I went to buy a washer from spencers This is my experience thus far
I went to buy a washer from spencers This is my experience thus far..1. Very slow day when we walked in no greeting there was one rep just sitting at a desk he got up and roamed around the store ..2. 10 to 15 minutes looking at washers still no help 2 to 3 guys also standing around finally we approached the group and asked would it be OK if some could help us we wanted to buy a washer..3. It seemed as if we were bothering them when we asked for help.4. I originally found the one (on line) that I wanted and had some basic questions. Questions were warranty rebates military discounts delivery..each time we asked a question it was as if we were wasting his time or bothering him finally I got to the point at said we will take it.5.Ihad a wound which I needed to sit as I was just learning to walk..they had no were for me to sit..6. Military discount the rep said they do not have them..7. Rebates they said spencers used them to get to the price 8.delivery was not free they had to charge us 9. The rep didn't even ask about extending the warranty 10. When we got home the *** had an extra charge so we called the store and tried to speak to the rep ..we couldn't reach him so we left message there and we never got a call back 11. I then called another store explained what what was going on and that I wanted to cancel the washer and buy one from a different place the rep then said he didn't care what I did and that I could do what ever I wanted I was so dumb founded on what was said I hung up and called a different store..12. I finally got a hold of someone at another store he explained everything I needed to do..however he was up next and someone was needing help I said it would be OK he calls us back To date still no call back..13. Remember the extra charge well it was for the hoses that you may need which we didn't need the new ones the ones we have are fairly new I tried numerous times calling still no return calls..14. The washer showed up on time it was installed with the new hoses everything seem to be ok..15. Finally I would not recommend spencers it us a shame that we were mistreated to that extent ..

Store employees failure to address, support, or to help resolve our issue with GE appliance
My name is Ken Page and I can be directly contacted at [protected]. I have purchased many items from Spencer's over the years with no issues. We recently purchased a complete new GE kitchen and all was going well until we recieved our refrigerator. Upon delivery we noticed that two doors were damaged. I purchased a new $2700 Frigidaire Refrigerator from Spencer’s. After Delivery, it was discovered that the indoor water dispenser was leaking, and the Upper Ice Maker did not work. Spencer takes no accountability for the delivery services that they contract out. It was within the seven-day purchase window, so the manufacturer was responsible for warranty...

Rebate
On 08/06/23 I purchased a 4 appliance LG bundle from Spencers at Arrowhead. At that time I was provided 2 rebate forms, one for $200 and another for $300. I was assured by the salesperson, Ian, that I would receive $500 in rebates. I submitted the forms and received a response from LG stating the $300 rebate should have been applied at the time of purchase. When Ian was contacted he stated he was unaware of that and he had made a mistake. I requested my $300 and he said he was unable to give it to me. I asked for a number for someone in management and was given a phone number. I called the number and received a voice mail. I responded to the voicemail and never received a reply from them. I would like my $300.
Desired outcome: $300 returned to me

new dishwasher
We purchased a new dishwasher from Spencers TV and appliance in ***. In less than three months the dishwasher failed so we called Spencers and a repairman came on January 5 to evaluate the problem and make a repair. We related prior to making the repair call that the dishwasher was not draining. The repairman did not bring a part and said it would be in in 7 to 10 days and he would be back to make the final repair. The week after that we called *** the manager at the *** store and he related that the part was not available and as soon as it was they would finish the repair. We did get any follow up from him. Today I tried to talk to someone at the corporate office to get some satisfaction but theMesa manager refused and wont replace the machine saying that machine cannot be replaced after 30 days. My wife would like the machine to be replaced now because we have been without a dishwasher for a month. *** the manager at the *** location said they would keep us posted on any progress that *** occur but they werent going to be able to replace the dishwasher. Later today he called back and said it will be at least another week before the part comes in. Our experience has been it takes another week after that to get the repair man out to repair the machine. All of this time the dirty water has been sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher. We are very frustrated by the way the Spencers people keep putting us off when they could just replace the machine. The complaintsboard.com is our final opportunity to have some satisfaction over this fiasco where the customer is in last place. This morning we were awakened by a phone ringing and it turned out to be a credit company complaining that they had not received the first payment and now the second payment was also overdue. The communication from the *** spencers appliance store has been poor and resulted in no remedy. We want the machine replaced with a new (same) machine.
Spencers installed appliances in our brand new home and damaged the granite counter tops and a kitchen dishwasher end panel during the install. The first crew didnt not know how to install the microwave, I had to show them, and could not get the range in the opening, I had to show them that as well. They did not bring a broom or shop vac to clean up their mess, and walked off the job prior to completion dropping F-bombs as they left. I have been in contact with Spencers since that first day and they have been less than helpful in resolving the issue.
I purchased a brand-new refrigerator. I was initially unable to stock it because the shelves were defective. The store replaced the shelves with shelves from the floor model. I contacted the store again because all of my food freezes in the refrigerator. In spite of setting the fridge at a warm temperature, the food still freezes. I informed the store of the problem and they told me to call in the warranty. The warranty company told me to call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and they could not help me unless I am physically with the product. Their hours are East Coast hours so I am unable to be with the product when calling them unless I take time off work. I cannot afford to take time off work (I took days off for delivery and also for the first service call). I called the store and told them to pick up the refrigerator. I should not have these problems for a brand-new unit that I have owned for less than 1 week. The store told me there is nothing that they can do. I need to wait on the warranty company to assess my unit. In the meantime, I have a refrigerator that I cannot use unless I need something frozen. This is not right. The store needs to retrieve this unit. I do not want it due to too many problems. I want to be able to properly use the refrigerator that I purchased and since that can't seem to happen, then the refrigerator needs to be replaced. I want this refrigerator out of my home since it is unusable!
On October 9, my wife and I purchased a washer/dryer unit from a local appliance store. After the delivery, we noticed a huge dent on the right side of the washing machine. We promptly contacted the salesperson, who instructed us to email pictures of the damage. Despite this, we have not been contacted or heard from the store since then, and it is now August 2022.
This August, the washing machine started making a tremendous noise, so loud that it could be heard from the end of our house. We reached out to the same store to report the problem. Since October , I had purchased a two-year warranty, so I expected some assistance. They sent out a repair person who left our house without giving my wife any documentation or explanation of what was wrong with the washing machine.
Following this, we contacted the manager of the store, who informed us that it might take a couple of months to fix the issue. He was unhelpful and implied that we were out of luck and there was nothing he could do to assist us. I am extremely disappointed with the poor service we received. To add insult to injury, we were told the problem was due to under-loading the washing machine. We are so disappointed that we have decided we will never do business with this store again, especially after paying $1536.79, as detailed in invoice number X56927.
On January 3, 2022, we purchased a Bosch refrigerator Model # B36CD505NS from Spencers. It has been seven months -- and after a series of frustrating activities, we still have a refrigerator with a non-functional ice maker and water dispenser. Additionally, the glass shelves have sharp corners that have caused injury. The refrigerator continuously displays electronic error messages.
The ice maker ceased functioning shortly after installation. We placed two calls to Spencers and left messages that were not returned. We then visited the Bosch website to find an authorized repair service and were referred to a local company, Gold Wing, which we contacted. On March 25th, a service technician stated he would contact Bosch Technical Support to confirm our information. We attempted to follow up on our own, but still received no response from Spencers.
After not hearing back from the technician or Gold Wing for several days, we called Gold Wing again on March 30th and April 19th. A representative informed us that he had no updates on the estimated time of arrival for the parts but would inquire with his parts department for updated information from Bosch. He promised to call back on my telephone number with the latest information, but we never received a return call.
We also reached out to a contact at Bosch regarding the hazardous glass shelves, but to no avail, as there was no response.
On July 2nd I purchased a frigidaire refrigerator/freezer and an ice maker
On July 2nd I purchased a frigidaire refrigerator/freezer and an ice maker. At the time of the purchase I requested that the door be such that when it opened it would be as a left handed door. When the refrigerator door was delivered, the door was not the way that I requested; the delivery person attempted to fix it but he didn't have the proper tools so was not able to fix it. He also installed the ice maker, which ended up not working. Approximately a week later, a service technician came out to switch the door as well as look at the ice maker. After he had switched the door, the door makes a horrible popping sound (it literally sounds like a gun being shot) when the door is opened and shut. He also stated that the ice maker was setup properly so it must be a defective one. He ordered new parts for the door hinges as well as a new ice maker. When the parts finally came in, another service technician came out on September 15 to fix the door. He stated that the wrong parts had been ordered so now the correct parts had to be ordered and I still have the loud noise when the door is opened and shut. He also advised me not to store much food on the shelves on the side of the refrigerator which means I am really not able to use the appliance to its full capability. On October 14, the new ice maker was installed and it is still not working. No ice is being made. So, once again the products that I have purchased are not functioning properly. I have contacted *** multiple times to try and get a resolution. At this point, I am convinced this refrigerator is a lemon but I am being asked to continue to wait until the new parts come in at the end of October. It has now been almost 4 months that I have been dealing with a faulty refrigerator and I am not convinced that new parts are going to solve this issue.*** advertises that they want to service their customers so they will be customers for life. I'm not so sure that will be true for me.
The GE Dryer was purchased in February , and at the same time, we opted for the 4-year extended warranty. The terms of the extended warranty were clear: should the dryer stop working, Spencers would address the issue promptly.
On the evening of Friday, June 10, 2022, the dryer stopped working. The following morning, I contacted Spencers and was provided with the contact details for the Extended Warranty service. I left a detailed message that day but received no response by Monday, June 13, at noon. After leaving another detailed message, I still did not receive a callback two hours later.
Later that day, I reached out to Spencers again, only to be advised that I should contact them directly and that they would also need to reach out to the warranty department, which apparently has a reputation for poor communication with customers.
Eventually, after some back and forth, the warranty department got in touch with me. The earliest they could schedule a technician was a week later, on June 20. I expressed my concern that the technician might need to order parts, causing further delays, but I was reassured that technicians typically carry parts in their trucks.
When the technician arrived on June 20, he determined that the thermostat was faulty and would need to be replaced. However, the part would not be available until June 29. I inquired whether the part could be found on another truck or elsewhere in Phoenix, but I was told that inventory is not tracked in that manner, and I would have to rely on the technician's report.
I reported this issue to Spencers, and they offered to voice a complaint to the Extended Warranty department on my behalf, though they admitted they were not part of the solution. I questioned why the part could not be sourced from another location or expedited with next-day shipping, but Spencers had no answers, and the warranty department did not address these concerns.
As a result, I am facing at least 19 days without a functioning dryer, assuming there are no further complications. The lack of urgency in resolving this matter is baffling and frustrating.
On 02-25-22, we purchased a 4 door french door w/disp refrigerator. It was delivered and installed the same day. Within 3 days we had a technician out for problems with the ice dispenser. The service tech came out and said we had a bad ice maker. He advised he would order the part and return. We have made numerous calls only to be told the part is still on order. We have been patiently waiting since February 2022. Because the ice dispenser hasnt ever worked properly, we a frustrated. We just want it fixed. It makes noice all day/night long. The original invoice #N95720 $2,160.98 Ahwatukee Store.
On 4/21 we ordered a new microwave from Spencers. They delivered it on 4/26 1. After the installation microwave door hit our kitchen cabinets when opening the microwave door which we notice when we tried to use the microwave the first time. Damaged cabinet.2. We called Spencers and they sent the installers back a week later. They adjusted the install location. After they left, we went to use the microwave and now a rattling fan noise was happening when turning on microwave. 3. We called Spencers and the Installers came out a week later and removed the filter and made several adjustments. Tested and left.4. After using microwave a couple of times fan noise started again. Contacted Spencers and asked for new Microwave. Rude manager *** said no, he could only send technician to fix and offered a one year extension to the warranty. I was not satisfied with this since this was supposed to be New microwave not a repaired one. He said that replacement was not an option. Weeks later, he switched to warranty repair and sent technician and when he came out he said he couldnt hear rattling noise.5. We continued to hear rattling and recorded it and called Spencers again. Technician came back, heard rattling, said it was fan motor, left. Had to order motor. 6. Now July 26, technicians replaced fan motor, rattling was worse. We were told microwave wasnt installed properly and that the installers would have to come back to fix installation. 3 months later, 6 going on 7 visits, brand new microwave taken apart several times and put back together, multiple holes cut in kitchen cabinets, a ding in my cabinet door and over 20 hours of my time waiting for installers/technicians and still have microwave not running properly. I filled out an online Spencers survey asking to be contacted and was not contacted. I am requesting resolution (new microwave) and reimbursement for damage and my time.

and his coworker were absolutely excellent. Both were professional, efficient, and careful, and setting up the washer and dryer. *** also explained the functions of both appliances.I have used Spencers in the past and will do so in the future when we replace our kitchen appliances.
Washing machine was installed with the water lines backwards. Installer didnt level the machine so it shakes and walks across the room during the spin cycle.
Salesperson was someone different tha I started with, the reason was I bought a machine and over night changed my mind. When I went in to tell the salesperson I had changed my mind, he was off , so the other salesperson helped me and have *** the credit. Very pleased with both men. The installers were very knowledgeable and courteous. Got the job done neatly and efficiently, took the old machine away and left my house like it was when they came.
Spencers delivery and Install was perfect in every way ! On time and the installers were very professional. Everything went smoothly from the purchase to Delivery . Removal was smooth and installation of new Ovens and Cooktop went great . Installers were very careful and polite . On time and cleaned area before leaving . Thanks so much for the all you did ! *** and
