Illegal Tow
These crooks practice predatory towing and use illegal tactics not in accordance with California Law. They towed my car without authorization and no signage alerting to possibility of being towed. They then exhorted payment from me in cash only! Now it appears they are out of business, or at least their business address and all contact numbers are invalid leaving no recourse for those of us that were victims of their fraudulent practices.

I was chillin' in my spot that was clearly marked and these dudes from S&S Towing came and took my ride. Now they want me to cough up $400 to get it back? There were mad cars blockin' the alley and we even called the cops. The cop said we weren't breakin' no laws, but it was a private matter so he couldn't do nothin'. This is some racist BS 'cause both the caller and the company are African American. We got proof and we're takin' this to court. Oh, and update, the police event number is E21040037169. The cops only gave tickets to the cars that were doin' worse stuff. We're comin' for you, S&S Towing.

My car got towed by S&S Towing on 12/23/22 from my sister's parking spot. The vehicle was parked for only 10 minutes, but the company towed it anyway. My car was parked next to two other cars that were double parked and had expired registration. When I contacted the company, they only communicated with me via text and took a long time to respond. I have serious health conditions and informed the company about it, but they neglected to respond promptly. I requested to get my medication from the vehicle, which needed to be refrigerated, but they denied me. One of their employees told me to go to the emergency room. I was hung up on and spoken to unprofessionally. I owe them over $600, and they won't let me get my children's Christmas presents from the vehicle until I pursue it unnecessarily. I am homeless, and my children and I have a lot of our personal necessities in the car because we are living out of it. I became unwell within 24 hours of not receiving my medication, and I am a single mother of three. Now they won't let me get the rest of my property from the vehicle until I give them the keys and pink slip, which means they will own my car in five days. They only gave me a one-minute appointment to retrieve my property.
