I was searching everywhere for info on NH's rules for kids in hot tubs
I was searching everywhere for info on NH's rules for kids in hot tubs. They kicked us out of the hot tub at Steele Hill because they said the law is 16 and under. Can't find any proof of that though.
Steele Hill Resorts, Inc
Steele Hill Resorts, Inc. is a total rip-off. The timeshare game is a big con, but that's just how things work in this country. It's all about making a buck, even if it means lying, cheating, and stealing. That's just the American way.
I got a Steel Hill/RCI timeshare and it's a total scam
I got a Steel Hill/RCI timeshare and it's a total scam. They gave me a book with places to go, but when I try to book, there's never anything available. It's hard to book at Steele Hill too, even though I own it. I want my money back and to stop paying every year. I'm going to court to get it.
THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!
THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! They made it seem like I won a big prize. But nope, I can't get my money back and it has to be during the week - which I already knew. Now there are so many blackout dates that basically fill up half the year. I keep getting passed around on the phone and no one can help me. When I say this is a scam, their voices shake. They won't give me my money back. The timeshare industry is a total rip-off and these people are crooks. DON'T STAY HERE. The joke's on me - who wins a prize you have to pay $300 for?
Warning! Don't go to Steele Hill Resorts, Inc
Warning! Don't go to Steele Hill Resorts, Inc. They're so greedy and don't care about families or customers. I've been alive for 45 years and they're the worst business I've ever dealt with. My family had a hard time because of an injury at work, but they didn't care and wouldn't cancel our contract. Now their lawyers are trying to take us to court even though we tried to settle. They give loans without checking credit, but they don't keep their promises and put a lien on your property. They got over $500,000 in loans, but won't help us even though they know we're struggling. We only stayed for 3 days and won't go back, but they might put a lien on our home for $17k. It's so sad that businesses can do this to people.
We went to Steele Hill Resorts for a timeshare sales pitch on 05/12
We went to Steele Hill Resorts for a timeshare sales pitch on 05/12. They told us a lot of cool stuff about the timeshare, but it was all lies. We have a big fam and traveling is pricey, so we thought this timeshare would be a good deal. They said we could travel anywhere for cheap and the prices wouldn't go up. They said we just had to pay a certain amount each year to get points to book trips all over the world. But it's been two years and we haven't gone on a trip yet. We found out that the points we got aren't even enough to book a trip at the resort. There are fees everywhere and the maintenance fees go up every year. This timeshare is way more expensive than just booking a trip without it. We got scammed and we want nothing to do with Steele Hill Resorts anymore. They need to cancel our contract and cut all ties with us. If they don't, everyone will know they're a scam. They better reach out to us and fix this.
I'm sharing my experience with Steele Hill Resorts
I'm sharing my experience with Steele Hill Resorts. I bought my timeshare in 1998 and it's been a total waste of money. I paid over $36,000 and can't even use it. Booking is a nightmare, I have to plan over a year in advance and it's still not easy. They promised me flexible vacations and easy trading, but it's all lies. I just paid $816.50 for maintenance fees and it's a huge burden on my fixed income. I tried to sell it, but they won't help me. I've been a loyal customer, but they don't care. I just want to cancel my contract and move on. Steele Hill needs to take responsibility for their false promises and give me a way out.

Steele Hill Resorts is a great place to stay!
Steele Hill Resorts is a great place to stay! The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. I had a great time at the pool and the restaurant had good food. However, I did have a problem with my credit card being charged more than I expected. They said they told me about it, but I never got any messages. Overall, I would recommend staying here but be careful with your credit card.
Me and my partner had a bad experience with Steele Hill Resorts, Inc
Me and my partner had a bad experience with Steele Hill Resorts, Inc. We signed a contract that was not as described. We requested cancellation but were refused. The RCI book's pictures had salesperson's notes, and I noted the points usage details. We aimed for a Disney Cruise in two years, unaware that points were inapplicable. In New Hampshire, there's a 5-day cancellation period, but we learned this too late. We've disputed the charge with our credit card company for a refund. We seek assistance to recover our funds from Steele Hill. Thank you.
I paid for a timeshare and all the fees, but when I try to book a week, there's never any available
I paid for a timeshare and all the fees, but when I try to book a week, there's never any available. I asked about other days, but they said no. They told me to call earlier, but I don't want to compete with others. And now they want me to pay more fees for maintenance? It's frustrating that I can't use what I paid for. I asked if I could carry it over to next year, but they said no. Is this even legal? I want a vacation or my money back. It's like buying a car but not being able to drive it because someone else rented it. This is not fair and they should buy back my timeshare. It's a scam.

Steele Hill Resorts called me on 6/4 and said I "won" a 2 nights stay
Steele Hill Resorts called me on 6/4 and said I "won" a 2 nights stay. They didn't care about the date, just that I call later to change or cancel. They took $59 from my visa on 6/7 under Path Vacations. I found out they want me to go on a "tour" during my stay. I realized it was a trick and just a sales trip, so I called to cancel. A lady told me to call another number and leave a message if needed. I left a message with my name, why I was calling, and dates. They called me back and said I'd be charged $592.02 if I didn't show up, even if my wife didn't come.
Steele Hill Resort's team ain't been helpful to me and my wife
Steele Hill Resort's team ain't been helpful to me and my wife. We hit them up last year to end our ownership 'cause the resort's condition is a serious health risk to us. They sent us a letter sayin' they ain't gonna listen to us and won't work out an agreement. They even denied any responsibility for the issues we had while vacationing there! Heather O replied to us and said we gotta sell it. That ain't good enough for us. We don't wanna go back there for vacation and we don't wanna sell it to someone else. We don't wanna be like the sales reps who tricked us into buying timeshare ownership. We don't want anyone else to go through what we did.
I called three times to ask about camping at Steele Hill Resorts
I called three times to ask about camping at Steele Hill Resorts. They said we could have two campsites with six people each, but I had to call 45 days in advance to reserve them. I even called a third time to ask about electrical sites. When I finally called to reserve, the manager said we could only have one site for six people because the policy had changed. They said they sent a notice, but I didn't get it. I showed them my emails, but they called me a liar. The manager also said they don't record conversations, but I think she lied.
Me and my family had some issues with Steele Hill Resorts
Me and my family had some issues with Steele Hill Resorts. We paid our fees, but they charged us extra for being late. We didn't like it, but we paid anyway. Then, RCI told us that Steele Hill put a block on our account, so we can't use our benefits anymore. We bought our timeshare from them, but we always felt like they tricked us. We tried to talk to them, but they never helped us. We're so done with this place and we can't even sell our timeshare. We just keep giving them money and getting nothing in return. We want our money back or something to make up for it.
Steele Hill Resort/Vacation Club did a sneaky thing to get my money
Steele Hill Resort/Vacation Club did a sneaky thing to get my money. They called me on 12/9 and said I won a two night stay at their resort from a hockey game I went to earlier. Samantha called me first, then Ariana took over. They already had all my info, so I thought I entered a drawing at the game. They said I could book the stay for $49, and I'd get the $49 back after I took a tour of the resort. They said I could cancel until 12/28 without paying, but after that, I'd have to pay for the rooms. They also said the tour time would be on my invoice, but it wasn't. The next day, I called to cancel because of COVID, and Brenna said I couldn't get my $49 back, but they wouldn't charge me more. I told her I was told I could cancel until 12/28 and that they tricked me with the hockey game thing.
We signed up for Steele Hill Vacation Club and RCI Membership on October 23
We signed up for Steele Hill Vacation Club and RCI Membership on October 23. We got our info three weeks later and found out about some hidden fees (worth hundreds of dollars) that we didn't know about before. We haven't used any of our member benefits yet, so we asked for a refund. They said no because it's been more than five days since we got the info. They're saying we have to pay $148/month plus over $500 annual fee plus all these hidden fees for any use of the membership. We got a FAQ sheet that talks about the points exchange fee, but that's it. We paid $990 up front and need to get it back. They told us last calls were $200 for a week, but on the website, the cheapest one is $289. We don't know what H/S means, but they showed us a beautiful two-bedroom and said it was $200 a week. On the fee list, a 2 Bedroom is $349. That's a big difference! They lied to us multiple times during the sales pitch, and now we're stuck paying them for the next 460 months. They gave us five days to back out, but they didn't tell us about all the hidden fees until three weeks later. Please help us!
