I live in vizcaya lakes, been here over 2 yrs now, the old property mgt Laura day was great, now we have a new mgt her name is yesingia, I think. She has profile me and has an attitude abt everything. Never had any problems over the last 2plus yrs. They recently change the card system to access the pool. When the letter came out to get new pool keys, it started you get 1 fob as for free, and if you want you can purchase a second for $7.00. Well month ago I went with my money to purchase a second key. I went to the office to purchase second key. She right away had an attitude towards me, and said only 1 resident at address and denied me my second key. Very shocked on how nasty and with an attitude she had. Go to find out that my friend Lucy on stockton, a single woman her in the park, was able to get a second key fob. Now months later, she has come to my door being rude, and catch me off guard. Find out the whole problem stems from a new tennabt, neighbor that moved in behind me. A Susan and mike. They bought abt a year ago, recently moved in fulltime from Indiana. They were so friendly when I met them, now they here full and the wife Susan has totally changed with a complete attitude. She continues to complain to yesenia, the park here. And now yesenia has only taken one side of new residents and will not give me the time of day. She has pounded on my door and complained abt my dog, who has medical conditions, and abt my dog peeing and pooping in my area of yard, oh yes I do pick my dogs #2. He has medical conditions that require him to go often to do his buisness. now my door is pounded on again, complaining abt my solar light that goes off on motion. I installed over 2yrs ago because of the bob cat problem here, as and did not want my dog attacked. Well now it goes on, and she has a problem with some wood I had out back, was for protecting my windows for a hurricane. I took care of it. I just dont under why this new mgt yesenia, is trying to play a powerful play and continue to bother me, because of new neighbors that moved in and nothing has changed. She just continues to profile me based on a one sided story from new neighbors.. all of my neighbors on rossmere are very nice and friendly. I help out with all of them, whether they are snow birds or full time residents. I come to find out after talking with my good neighbor john and dorothy on rossmere rd, across the street from me, that they both said that yesenia has an attitude, referring to a post on bulletin board abt getting home power washed, the sign up was full and ask for a new sheet, when yesenia got upset and mad with an attitude had said she had nothing to do with it. Was un helpful to give a new sign up sheet, yet is ran by and thru the park mgt. Like I said I have lived over 2yrs now and got a new neighbor behind me on stockton, come to find out thru the grapevine, that the new neighbor susan and mike on stockton, that the wife, susan has and is know for acting crazy, or causing problems. I went to talk with susan, which in the past she was very friendly and seemed ok, now I went to speak with her to find what the problem was, she began to yell and screen very loud and went on abt my dog on a lease, going to the bathroom in my yard. This is her 600 per month property and all this crazy stuff. Now my lights that go off on motion are a problem. Yesenia has not taking into a account that there are 2 sides to every potential problem, and has went after me and profiles me and my fiancee. I just dont dont understand, there is no talking to her, and she started this the friday before labor day. I went to speak with her. Not at office, stopped and knocked on her door where she lives in park, the first time I stopped she looked out window and did not come to door, I left came back abt 30 min later, knocked on door she opened door, got very nasty and said not at my home and I'm off work, very confused she was at my home earlier, abt 1hr, knocking on my door and going on abt, the neighbor complaing.. so it's ok for her to beat on my door and make unfounded accusations, but after she left and I had time to think abt it and go to her home, it's now unaccetable. I feel that this has completely gotten way out of control. I have also mentioned that the aroma smell from weed, marijuana smoking from the susan and mike, is bother both my dog and I. When I asked susan to handle her weed smoking habit she flipped out on me. This continues as write this and has been mentioned to yesenia, sorry to say nothing has been done. I would like to speak with the district mgt of the parks here in florida, not yesenia, as there is no talking with her and she has made up her mind to continue to profile and be little me. water main break
My mother has received 2 months in a row a water bill showing she has used 49, 000 + in water usage and a bill for almost $700 for July and and $ 693 for August., which equals to about $1400 in two months. Shes 71 and lives alone, so there is now way she has used that much water. There is a main water break right in front of her drive going along the curb and according to the "maintenance man" they cant do anything about it, but keeps telling my mother to pay the high water bill anyways. She has lived in this commuinty for 30 yrs. There has been other people complaining in the past two months regarding their water bill, and was told at first that the bills were wrong, and getting changed and new bills will come out. Well, new water bill came out and still the same, saying they adjusted it. WRONG! The managers say its not their responsibility for any water leak on your property. BS... I will be calling our local news channel to do a story on this community, its not fair for anyone that lives on a budget to endure such bills.
ac out
My ac is not cooling my house since Saturday the 27th, they brought 2 window coolers but it's now Monday the 29th at noon and in Texas which it is 100 degrees outside, I have a dog and yet no one has come to fix my ac. Email sent saying sometime today they will be there, well when? Cause in this new area they are stacked outside of new homes that mind you no one lives in and yet can't come fix my ac!?

We are saddened by the news received by the Lemon Wood residents that our new Manager, Dave Mendoza, has been let go by Sun Communities.
The timing of this action also cancelled a yearly BBQ that has always been looked forward to by the residents, especially those who are unable to otherwise socialize due to health or transportation abilities.
This comes at troubling times when residents are frustrated with Sun Communities and the passing through of costs associated with obvious needed maintenance in our park.
Sun continues to disappoint the residents of Lemon Wood in what we consider poor judgement and lack of consideration for residents of this community.
We feel that Dave came to us at a time when we needed to see things change for the better in our Community. He met with us and discussed things with us to try and understand the situations at hand so that he could attempt to address each issue with better judgement and understanding. He attended the Home Owner's Meeting in July and spent an hour speaking directly on issues he observed in the short time he was here, receiving standing ovations from residents on his comments and suggestions.
We actual saw some small things get done, to the pleasant surprise of the residents, and we started to have a little ray of trust that this Manager may actually try and work with our Community instead of against us. He seemed like a good manager for a Senior Park to have. The residents felt he was proactive, fair, and exhibited a good knowledge in the subject matter at hand.
We are very disappointed with these recent abrupt decisions that Sun has made and respectfully request that Sun reconsider their choice to relieve Dave Mendoza from his position as Manager of our Community.

I keep racking up the complaints because Indian Creek and/or Sun Communities will not respond to my issues - by phone or email. For those that are reading this, do you notice that there is not a tally of incidences of complaints. Even though this is my 4th submission yet Sun says they have 0 complaints!? That is because they are a dumpster of BS. Should I curse online after 4-5-6 complaints they could delete my submission of issues as an aggressive person. I will say in a nice way that Sun communities and Indian Creek are nothing more than the sludge at the bottom of gutter water...
do NOT rent or buy from here.. unless you are a nieve idiot!

I live at Indian Creek. I own my own home. I have submitted 2 separate complaints using this format and on the same issue w NO callback from Corporate... you boast a tally board on your web page that indicates how many complaints and how many resolved!?!? You have a "0" for outstanding complaints? That is because Corporate is as bad as Indian Creek is about following through. Is this what we pay our 7-9% yearly increases for - radio silence? I thought that was free!

The 2 maintenance workers at this park, Gene Orrico and Dennis Campbell, Today, much like every day, do NO WORK. so far this morning, they followed each other on 2 seperate riding mowers to falcon hall and arriving at 930AM for what should be a 10AM break, they stayed playing pool on the pool table not leaving until 1002 AM...THEN they came back at 11:20AM on 2 seperate gold carts and are back in there playing pool again! They are still in there at now, 1150AM...The other day they were in there for 2 hours playing pool. Sun communities is taking a royal screwing by paying these 2 guys any money. Genes wife works in the office at the desk and when the new manager heather isnt around, in the afternoon, gene hides in the office with her all afternoon. She is no better telling everyone who comes into the office every residents business every day and then goes back to playing on facebook all day. When sun took this park over from carefree these charachters should have all be canned and replaced with someone, anyone with a work ethic! There is so much work that needs doing that they dont see or even care about just care about how much they can screw off all day. What a joke and all the residents see it. I for one will tell anyone I see not to buy a home in here as the place is going to crap while these guys work on their pool game all day every day. You also need a manager who will actually supervise something at least once in awhile and keep the workers busy. as right now, there is no supervision obviously of any kind. Disgusting and an embarrasment to sun.
parking violation
I'm a tenant at 7460 Kitty Hawk /Summit Ridge community. We have been told by our landlord we are not allowed to park on the street . My vehicle was towed about 2 months ago because I was parked up on my driveway with one of my wheels touching the grass . I was charged $300.00. The tenant that lives in Lot 43 still continues to park his vehicles on the street . One evening I courtesy walked to him and said be careful because they are towing cars for parking on the street . His response to me was, I am the towing company and my car won't be towed .
I was in shock and didn't say anything else .
My concern is why is this rule applied to all of the tenants except this one ? Is it a violation for everyone else and not this particular tenant ? I would like a response in this matter.

I have contacted sun homes repeatedly . I have been bullied by the manager and was bullied into purchasing my home. They did not fix the things that were wrong. Our water is brown and testing unsafe. Now they are building a wall behind us and there are trucks banging until all hours. It actually shakes our home. No discount on Lott rent in fact we pay extra for this luxury being on an outside lot. The mound of dirt is higher than the roof of our home. We cannot even open windows. It has negatively affected my sons health. I have disabled children and this has been a nightmare. This treatment and scare tactics and degrading chauvinistic behavior by the manager and perverse behavior of the maintenance staff is disgusting and possibly criminal. I am fortunate to have an attorney on retainer through my employer and will be contacting them this weeks as Sun Homes has obviously decided that ignoring issues makes them go away.

Six years on this has to be resolved.
This is my third attempt to resolve the blighted condition of my neighbor's home. 2 years ago they finally replaced the roof, and some fascia boards. but did not replace the metal fascia. nor did they close gap in the eaves. so now I deal with birds and all they bring. they seem to enjoy the access to their attic. I get big junks of their insulation on my lawn.
I have submitted numerous singed complaints and the only answer I get from local management is "this could take 3 months or more" I wish. that means it would have been finished 5 years & 9 months ago.

I know you are doing this to many because you want to put in expensive ones and want the lot. I have metastatic breast cancer and just had a masectemy. I have not worked since sept...not all are snow birds with money. I have no money to move ...all my money goes to staying alive. So you are making a 64 year old woman who has cancer homeless. I just upgraded my electric to 125 amps at the tune of 2500 which you let me do knowing you were going to get rid of me. I need to be paid something . I purchased what i thought was a home with a mortgage i was lead to believe it was! I put 10, 000 down i was only lead to one mortgage company Triad no other company..my contract is wrong have address it and have proof for 6 months. My loan was sold to Suncommunities without my knowledge. Ive been lied too since November 2017 by Vanessa, Megan and Sherry. Got a call from a David Alter an attorney for sun who offered to purchase my home if i sign a release i said no. And hung up.. my complaint has gone to the state and hopefully the feds. Suncommunities is a investment company who uses only Traid and a credit union they own.. that's called monopoly. I'm paying 3 percent more in interest paid more in fees. Traid told me they seen the mistake a guy name Anthony. but yet wanted Suncommunities to fix it. That got me thinking considering the name on the paperwork is traid..
Don't buy, rent or anything else from this God awful company who i feel take advantage of Elderly people..

Enticement of very nice lower priced homes in an exceptional community environment.
The catch: Incredibly large lot rents that increase up to 5% per year. A very financially dangerous situation for seniors wishing to retire at the Hamptons on a fixed income. In 10 -15yrs. they could become homeless.
The Hamptons are for the financially secure only.
driveway repair
A water leak last year washed out under the driveway and the resurfacing of the road raised the road and the curb at the end of my driveway no longer keeps rain water from washing sand and mud into my driveway where it has sunk. Reported this 3 weeks ago to the office and did not hear anything. Please look into repairing the situation so I can paint my driveway. Enclosed please find the formal complaint.

For some time now the back of my property has flooded each time it rains hard culminating with Hurricane Florence. However, recently it rained over the weekend and the area behind my property flooded terribly. My concern is the water is finding its way under my house and mold may be appearing. I've been told by Doug Emminger that Lakeside Crossing plans to fill in the land with dirt and trees. Unfortunately, a lot of time has passed and the flooding persists when it rains, not to mention potential mold formation under the house in the crawl space. Please address this issue immediately as I understand other neighbors are complaining about this issue as well. I can be reached at [protected]. As an fyi, I called your complaint line yesterday at 1:10pm, 12/17/18 and no one has returned my call at this time. If you want me to text you pictures of this flooding I can do so by texting the appropriate party. I think a drain has to be installed near the flooded area to move the water away from my home. Well I have a illegal eviction notice. I just received this in the mail today giving me 4 days to move but guess what in the state of Indiana you must wait 10 days of rent being paid before serving papers and it's dated the 6 th. And from the 6 th giving me 9 days. That being said I am going to forward this notice to the BBB and I will be suing your company have a great day

As the title says, on any given day here at Sun Communities Woodside Terrace, Holland, Ohio, you are apt to discover that when you turn the tap at the sink, absolutely nothing comes out. They never announce exactly when or for how long the shutoff will be. And when you call the office, nada. This has gone on for years. Highly advise against renting here or investing in this company.

We also asked for her to sign our contract and she she replied it was sent to their accounting dept. The contract was never returned and she has since left the company. I still have her emails confirming scheduling this event. We have later communicated with Deborah Foster who confirmed that the Sock Hop was listed on their events calendar for 2019, but had no other information. We explain to Ms Foster that her former Activities Director Whitney Clark had booked us and the terms of that booking. She at first said that there should not be any problem just has to clear it through management. Now we find out that Sun n Fun have changed their minds and is not honoring their commitment. The months of Dec., Jan. & Feb are our busiest months because Snow Birds come to Florida and fill many of its RV Parks expecting Entertainment. Thus we had turned away numerous job offers due to our commitment to provide entertainment to Sun n Fun, Sarasota, Fl. We should be entitled either another equal booking by contract or retribution from this loss of employment
