Sun Communities unethical behavior "extortion"

I live in Sun Communities in San Antonio for 2 years now. 1st year I rented my lot rent was $350.00 dollars. 2nd years i purchased the home in attempt of saving some money but my lot rent immediately jumped to $500.00 a month. Shortly after we received notice that vehicles not parked in a driveway will be towed.. so i go to the office and tell the site manager that i will have guest over and my driveway on has space for 2 vehicles. He says font sweat it "Its all good" After dinner we walk out to find the car missing! yuup it was towed! $350.00 to get it back. I then ask if i can place pavers in my lawn for i can park a 3rd car. the answer was NO! i have to have to have a concrete driveway installed. Note: i pay lot rent so if i ever move my house that driveway stays raising the value for sunhomes. And last but not least we received a notice that our water bill will now double in charges. After numerous conversations with the local management office, the answer stays the same. "CALL CORPORATE"

Sun Communities drug addicts and other unethical behaviour

I have been living here almost 2 years..I am renting to own it took all this time to get my place to be fixed..and I am still going to have someone look at it before I decide to buy it..But everyone in here has had enough with police in and out of here because of the drug addicts coming and going in here..We pay a lot of lot rent and for what..we are always having problems with the garbage being picked up..it winds up all over the road because of the animals..We finally got someone in here to help us and she is already discussed with everything going on in here and she is leaving us..There is no cap on the lot rent and we are getting nothing for it..We need to speak to someone about all the problems here..There is just to much going on in here to write it all down..We sometimes can't even take our children to the pool without someone shooting up in the bathroom or smoking weed around the pool..So please we need help in our community..Most of us really like it here because it is very close to everything and the schools are good..Please can you help us clean it up in here and make it affordable and mostly livable..

Thank you,

Victoria Cole

I still don't see much being done..outside of a few more police around..We still need pest control especially around the ponds because of the ant problems. The yards are still getting a lot of water because there is no proper pipes to take it to the sewers so we have ponds in the yards and then we get a lot of ants in our homes..We pay a lot in lot rent and we get nothing for it..We are told we have to maintain the yards..It is not our property we don't mind mowing the lawn but the pest control and taking care of the water problems should be yours not ours..If you want people to stay you need to show us that you care to have a nice community and stop worrying about how much you can sell all the time..I know you have a business to run but you do get good money from the lot rents..also you are not fare to people who get down on their luck and can't always pay on time..You need to be a little more understanding in some situations..We have a lady living here with two children that are ill..one may not get through the new year..Instead of telling her she has to get out if she can't pay show some compassion and help her..I am sure if you ask the people in the neighborhood to help by having a donation box or something we could help..but please take a look at things before you make a decision on throwing people out..Please come to Deerwood and have a meeting with us all..This is really a good neighborhood and I am sure the problems we do have here can be resolved easily...Thank you Victoria Cole

Sun Communities riser repair by court personnel

Shortly after moving here in 2013 my Riser broke. It was repaired and my water pressure inside my home was shut diwn considerably. I told the Office and they said it wasn't their problem. I filled buckets of water when having guests overnite. I went back in to current manager Jay Podein and he said "not my probkem Nancy, call a plumber " so I did. Plumber found the Riser valve not adjusted correctly. He fixed it and I now have normal water pressure. That was 5/17/18. I gave the bill to Jay and he sunmitted the bill for $259.20. He resubmitted it and no one wants to pay as he didn't ok first. Not my fault and I lived with terrible water pressure for all that time

Sun Communities property management

Have just moved in and lived there for less than a year and consistently had issues that I have called to get resolved . Every time I call nothing gets done the property manager claims she will take care of it and never does. Yet every time something they need from me needs to get done they expect me to miss work to take care of it. I have had the property manager to my home showed her the issues and claimed next day it would be resolved it is now over 2 months later and the issues she said she would resolve have not been resolved and other homes in the park have had the same complaint and are now moving out of the park. We need people in office ready to better assist tenants.

Sun Communities sun thinks so little of its annual residents

"Sun thinks so little of its annual residents", this has been proven for the last 2 yrs. I have document everything since I heard the previous managers say in front of me that the annuals are just trailer trash, and yes I have it on a recording. This has push me to total frustration since I work 7 days a week and don't need this BS. It is Sun that is the problem and unfortunately we finally get a new manager that I in my heart feel she is honest and cares, but it keeps going down hill. I go to pay my Spectrum internet and see a change for TV this morning. Several calls to multiple people at Spectrum and it's the same answer, it is Sun's decision for all of this. DONE... I've had 5 yrs of always being a good resident, actually worked here as security for 2 yrs. and now Sun has truly shown their colors. The name was changed to a resort, it doesn't meet the definition of a resort anymore.

Sun Communities taxes due april 2018

My mother and I purchased a Mobil home in Sun Communities in Haines City Florida in July 2017.
We invested about 18 thousand to make it comfortable and modern for me and my mom. We had constant sewer issues and had to pay Plummer to get it fixed numerous times. When Taxes in April were due, we were charged for the complete previous years taxes, the property manager, Belinda had no answer, just insisting we owed the entire year. After a lengthy conversation I resolved to a payment of $100 dollars a month to cover the taxes and Belinda agreed. This also was tagged a $155.00 late fee for every month till it was completely paid. I agreed to pay all before or by the end of the year. I got an eviction for taxes not paid after the manager honered the previous 4 tax payments... we had to evacuate in 10 days... lost everything. Sun Communities is also Being sued by HOA for services not rendered. It's sad how my mom and I lost everything. They don't care about their seniors! Money hungry!

Sun Communities lack of enforcing or even having knowledge of handbook rules when it comes to reservations at sherkston.

RE: SHERKSTON SHORES

I READ THE EMAIL BELOW TO TONY BRETON, AS HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I FINALLY CALLED HIM AND HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND DEMANDED RESPECT FROM ME.

HE WAS NOT APPRISED OF THE HANDBOOK'S RULES WHEN IT COMES TO RESERVING A SPOT AT SHERKSTON, OR THE TIME YOU CAN RESERVE AND SIZE OF RESERVATION. IT ALSO DID NOT BOTHER HIM THAT PEOPLE WERE SAVING SPOTS AT 1AM AS LONG AS THEY WERE HAVING A GOOD TIME. HE WAS DISMISSIVE OF THE FACT THAT PEOPLE COULD BE ENJOYING THE BEACH FOR HOURS BEFORE 2PM AND WAS NOT APOLOGETIC THAT HIS STAFF OR SECURITY DID NOT KNOW THE RULES. I HAD TO ASK HIM TO CALL ME BACK AFTER I READ HIM MY EMAIL AND HE WANTED TO KNOW "WHY?" I ALSO TOLD ME THAT SEVERAL PEOPLE I SPOKE WITH FELT THE SAME AND HE SAID I WAS THE FIRST WHO EVER SAID THIS. THAT I KNOW IS A LIE AND A TACTIC. THIS WAS A PROBLEM BEFORE YOU BECAME OWNERS HOWEVER SHERKSTON SECURITY ALWAYS KEPT TRACK AND REMOVED RESERVED BELONGINGS AFTER TWO HOURS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE RULES ARE GOING TO BE ENFORCED OR IF IT IS GOING TO BE TAKEN OUT OF THE HANDBOOK? IS THIS AN UNREASONABLE REQUEST.

Tony Breton,

My name is Catherine Breen and I am at 35 Hickory. We have been there for 15 years I believe.

I know over the course of our stay things have changes, but last Saturday and incident came up that deserved someone's attention and despite messages and calls no one has gotten back to us.

Let me tell you that this is not solely my issue; but after brief inquiry, a concern of many.

Last Saturday morning, my husband and I took the golfcart to the beach. We were planning on walking and sitting on the beach for 2 or 3 hours.

The beach was covered ON the shoreline with pop up canopies and rows of chairs. Some people had spaces two deep with canopies. I would say not even 10% were occupied. And as we sat at least 50 feet from shore we were approached by a man in a golf car who informed us that we were sitting behind his reserved spot (He was very proud of the fact that he set up 11 hours earlier: 1:00am) and that 8 golf carts would be needing a spot. My response was "good luck" and as he was rather a bully and persistent and was telling me to "shut my trap" I told him to take it to security, which he did and he proceed to go off on her for about 15 minutes. As she was behind me and was driving away I stopped her and asked her what her position was. She said "well that is his spot." I tried to tell her about the rules in the handbook and she said, "I know nothing about that." My husband wanted to leave but the people next to us, made room and we sat with them and chatted. We were informed that the people reserving the spot, as do others, get down to the beach at 1am and leave. Most don't make it down until 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

I am not going to say too much more but I will tell you that Sherkston staff did not know the rules back at the office either. I said to refer to the handbook which states that "YOU CAN ONLY RESERVE FOR AN HOUR" at which point security is to remove your stuff and store. They were not apprised of this. There are families who would like to walk the beach, play on the beach. There are people like my husband and I who like to go from 10am until 12pm or earlier but we can't because of the wall to wall "reserved" spots that you do nothing about. It wasn't like this two years ago. Two years ago, staff would ask how long spots were left unattended and remove the setup and place at the dunes.

Words cannot describe how I feel. You let a bunch of thugs dictate to your 20 year old female staff driving around in golf cars that don't know the rules what to do. It is quite disgusting.

As usual, I called this morning and no one has gotten back to me.

I will go to the owners to get something done about this.

Sun Communities disability discrimination and harassment and stringing me along with a false claim of buying my home till it was theirs free!

The harassment started the first weeks sandy took over Country Hills Village. Later I went to the office to apply to bring my tractor in to remove snow for my disability. Sandy's response to me asking was, and I quote "you don't look disabled to me", and upon handing me the papers to file with my doctor She stated, and again I quote "well, I don't think you'll be approved"! I was highly offended by these remarks, which were totally illegal in it self. But that was just the START of her attack on me. On that date I started keeping a dairy of these contacts with sandy.
Here are just some highlights...
In the spring she first said I had 24 hours to remove the tractor or it would be towed. no prior warning. Then she tagged it the next day.
I was cleaning out the garage, and pulled out stuff to move out. she promptly had maintenance come and tag a small motorcycle trailer I just brought out, tagged my truck which was properly parked in the overflow parking at the clubhouse, the only car tagged in overflow parking, tagged my son's car parked on the street for less than an hour, while the car across the street that parked there regularly overnight did not get tagged, tagged the trailer I was in the processes of loading, and more. one day five tags where no other cars were tagged.
I told her I was going to take the load up north and get the tractor the next day. pulled in after 1:00am, so being nice to the neighbors, parked the trailer to get the tractor in the morning. woke up to the tow truck taking it away. talked to sandy who said "sorry, their must have been a misunderstanding, but left me to pay the bill, which put me behind in lot rent payment.
I put the tractor in the storage area in the back on my trailer, the trailer had an approved tag issued by the park and was paying storage fees for it. Country Hills Village changed the policy on the storage area where items could not be in the storage area on trailers. I talked to sandy about being a disability item, but she stated that she had to be fair and equal in their policy. We tried to workout a time to remove it, but at that time I still could no longer drive, and could only make it to the mailbox twice all winter.
Sandy then tagged the trailer and tractor, and then had it towed away without ANY notification at all she had tagged or towed it. (trailer towed even though it was approved) I went in to the office about 3 weeks later and mentioned the tractor about something and that's when she notified me that it had been towed (now fees over $1000 for towing and storage). They did cover the costs to get the trailer back, but with a letter not to bring it back into the community, and she said not even parked in my garage!

I was working on cleaning up my camper to sell to pay lot rent. she tagged my trailer, and said I had to move it by friday, a day before it was to be towed. At this time Sandy told me that I could not bring any more trailers or vehicles to the house, or it would be TOWED WITHOUT WARNING. And that the neighbor complained and said if he can have a camper there so can I. His camper sat there a day longer than mine, yet his didn't get tagged. I have a series of photos of campers and trailers, and motor homes, that have been parked in their drives or yards for weeks, yet no tags on them from sandy. One series of pictures shows the house right beside the clubhouse who was, and still is permitted to keep his utility trailer right in their back yard, clearly in view from the clubhouse where the office is located, yet my disability means nothing when keeping my small tractor in the back storage area out of sight.

This now prevented me from moving out, which prevented me from income also. but this didn't stop her from the continued harassment and tagging.
I now couldn't pay rent, and was taken to court for eviction, and demand for property. I had to ask Sandy if I could bring in a truck and trailer to move out without it being towed. At that time I said I was going to call other "buy today" mobile home buyers to look at the home. With a smirk she said they have first right to refusal to buy it. I informed her she did not, because I didn't sign the new lease. she again stated sun would five the better price.
all through the process she strung me along saying they'd buy my home, until she asked me to sign over the title, which said I would, after talking to the Michigan department of civil rights to see if I should do that. she then withdrew the offer to buy my house saying well, if that's the way you want to do it then I'll just write it as an abandon home and get the title anyway and withdrew her offer to buy, punishing me for going to the Mi civil rights department.

This complaint I make I have fully documented from the time she first violated my civil rights as a disabled person, to the end result of stealing my home leaving me homeless living out of my truck (documented) and having to move in to a camper I was using for storage that's by definition, uninhabitable.
Sandy also twice denied Salvation Army from paying my lot rent for me, and questioned my ex about why she was helping pay rent.

As far as the stress, anxiety, and mental hardship I went through from going through this process... while trying to get help from one agency, I was transferred over to 911 to which the police showed up at my door, and spent six long hours in Holland Hospital for psychiatric observation. Also in ER for pain/stress associated with my condition and stress I was in from Sandy, and Sun Communities.

Again, I have filed with the ACLU and Michigan Department of Civil Rights.

So now I ask you, the residents of Sun Communities, to file your complaints here also, not to strengthen my case, mine is solid documented facts, but to take a stand against the wrongs and harassment they have done to you! Together we can make a change, and with the major Civil Rights violations she and Sun Communities have done to me, it's time your complaints will be looked at even closer... Maybe NOW IS the time to file a class action suit against Sun Communities that continue with many of you.
If we all speak up now, maybe even congress will step up an effort to restrict Sun and other mobile home communities from the horrific acts they get away with now, and maybe a well needed cap on the absurd lot rent hikes every year.

You may contact me directly at [protected]@gmail.com with your complaints, and I will pass it along to Mi Dept of Civil Rights in my complaint, or if you are a lawyer willing to take on a class action suit against Sun Communities.

Sun Communities standing water under house and back yard

3 weeks my back and front yard has had standing water . It is due to under ground bust. I have been told over and over someone is coming to fix it. I have pictures and taking them to health department because of the lack of fixing this I have standing water under my home. I have went to the office at least 5 times. They keep saying we are waiting to hear from someone. Isn't it unhealthy having standing water under your house and yard?

Sun Communities management of country hills mobile home park

As I'm sure you know many residents of the park have entered complaints about our manager Sandy. Recently I received a write up about my kayaks being on the ground in the side yard. I use them everyday two fish and for relaxation we are retired and that is our enjoyment for the summer also she complained about camping equipment which there is no camping equipment out there all we have is a little firewood for our fire pit so I took the kayaks and put them back in the bed of my pickup truck on Monday the 20th I took them out to make a run to Home Depot I get home and she has a second write up. There has been many issues with management first it started when she received the job here as manager I put a fitted truck cover on my$55, 000 pick up that I don't drive in the winter she wrote me up and told me I could not have a protective cover on my vehicle that it looked hideous her words not mine. I take pride and how my yard and house looks and I wish to submit pictures as proof. I believe this is harassment and other people in the park feel the same they have nicknamed her the warden. Crime is at an all-time high in this park the police have been called and people have been caught and brought to jail a friend of mine held a thief at gunpoint for trying to break into his shed and this is just my assumption but a month later his next door neighbor had his shed set on fire (coincidence) I think not I believe the thieves or friends of the thieves simply torched the wrong shed! This park once had children playing and riding bikes all over the park now not one she has made this a senior citizens Park and that's not what this park is labeled as she has made everybody get rid of outdoor climb on toys she says that's why there is a playground in the park but a lot of children cannot go to that Park on their own some are too young and that was the reason for the climb on toys when we moved here we loved this park and were never planning on leaving but like a lot of residence we are feeling pushed out of the park! Sandy seems to feel she is a real estate agent and not a manager something needs to be done or we meeting us in the park are going to go to the highest level please deal with this problem promptly!

Sun Communities I am presently feeling unsafe due to a neighbor that shoots his bb/pellet gun causing damage to my home's siding and skirting.

I have seen the man who resides across the street from my residence walk the street with his gun and heard the sound of firings. My 5 year old home has holes in the siding and skirting as a result of his shootings apparently at community cats. I have spoken with him and shown him the damage, with his response acknowledging said damage to home and auto with assurances the behavior will stop. Not true. Complaints, when possible, to management have been futile, citing great difficulties to remove such persons once residency is established. Apparently these types of guns are not considered firearms - a definite lease violation, I thought. After 28 years of park residency I no longer feel safe.

Sun Communities misled residents on lot rents

I reside in Siesta Bay RV resort in Ft Myers Fl. It is a 55+rv/park model community owned by Sun Communities, Inc.I own our own home and rent the lot. In Oct 2017 we were notified that the annual rent would be $6902 for the10/01/2017 thru 09/30/2018 season, payable in 7 equal payments of $986.

On Oct 1, 2017 sun communities changed to a 12 month payment schedule, starting on your purchase anniversary date.

If your purchase date was not October it left some residents paying significantly more than the $6902 previously quoted rate for the [protected] season, some overpaying more than $2000.
The rate for the [protected] season, effective 10/01/2018 thru 09/30/2019 for all residents has already been determined $6902. No 30 days notice was given before the changes. Sun Communities mislead the residents and they refuse to be accountable for the confusing disclosures.
Buyer beware of any documents you sign with Sun Communities.

Sun Communities seems to be able to change the payment agreement at any time they want (meaning at your anniversary month) AND at any amount they want. They tend to increase the lot rent by 7-9% yet the national average for those of us still in the workforce only get a 2-4% pay increase which means a new budget every year.

God help me next year when I am on Social Security, I am sure SS won't be able to keep up with Sun Communities lot rate hikes. But the real insult to the injury is that the original services that you were paying for last year are now minimized or even cut.

Sun Communities confidentiality

Pheasant Ridge - The manager and her support staff lack the ability to practice confidentiality in regards to residents personal business. These corporate staff need refresher training on the importance and legal responsibility of being in compliance of maintaining confidentiality of residents personal welfare. In Pennsylvanian its against the law to to reveal residents, clients, patients personal records.

Sun Communities the girls in the office and the young couple that "manage" the park.

My mom lives in friendly village Simi Valley CA, and has for the past 4 years. Since she has lived there, I have met others in the community, and there is a common complaint about the management at the facility. Maybe others have complained that live there, but as an outsider, I see the way the management has become too much of a ring of friends that have a bit of control, but they see it as "power". It is as if they have nothing better to do. The young man drives around in his truck slowing down and throwing intimidating looks at people. I park in visitors area if I'm visiting. But if I am dropping something off, or picking up my mom, I don't need this young ego filled guy telling me I can't park there to pick up my 85 year old mom, who stopped to yell (seriously) that I can't park there. And of course I let him know that I am only picking her up. This is constant policing that occurs. It creates tension that old people don't need. It isn't as if the village is out of control and he needs to do this, the park is a quiet pristine place, but it is a front for an uncomfortable living situation. Unfortunately the jacuzzi is scalding and is difficult to use.

The above are common complaints that I have heard from my mom.. and many other people I have spoken to over the years that I have been coming and going in Friendly Village. I have spent a lot of time at the pool, and people talk about everything there. Again, unfortunately the jacuzzi is scalding and too hot to comfortably use. It doesn't matter if someone bends down and checks a thermometer. It's too hot... for years. But all of the recent updating is beautiful.

And with all of this being said, I still thought about buying at friendly village as my mom lives there, my husband just died, and I thought it'd be nice to be close to mom. Long story short, I went into the office, and asked for a list of homes for sale. The "girl" behind the desk, which was covered with fast food wrappers and paperwork, told me and I quote, "We don't have a list. You have to drive around and look for houses for sale." She barely looked up from her greasy meal. I was amazed. I will call the better business bureau as my husband worked for them and I can get someone down there ASAP. This practice is unethical. And Kathy? To have her listings and not tell me? This is discrimination. This is those two little pea brained girls getting a little control and taking it to the next level. They are now picking and choosing who they want to have even look at homes to buy? I'm a fit 58 year old woman, and they gave me a look that a pre adolescent would give a rival for a boy they both liked.

Be sure, that I will make that call. Know that what those kids, the young man that lives there, and whomever his wife is, and the two in the office will be reported. I will get their names from my mother.

I speak for many people in the park. The social gatherings are different, more tension, walking, riding, being at the pool, everything feels like these bored kids with a clipboard have an ego too big for their brain. I have been in management in the field of customer service, administration, and of complaints for Lowe's for over 12 years. I have been in the field of customer service for over 25 years, and it IS possible to get positive results with kindness.

I also maintained four homes in L.A. for the property owners for over 5 years. That means I am familiar with petty complaints, and complaints from tenants that are valid. I know basic plumbing, electrical, and construction. I sold doors and windows for years. I know building and home maintenance, so this letter is not from someone that doesn't know what they are talking about. BTW, the on site handyman does half [censored] work and over charges these nice people just trying to have a nice end of the trail experience.

Friendly Village Park isn't the comfortable place it used to be.

Sun Communities was told there would not be any patrol in sunset ridge

How are we suppose to feel safe when there is no appearance of police protecting us from harm? Kim our new manager has just informed us of this!
I thought as a citizen police have on their cars "protect and serve"! How can they do this for us if the police are not allowed to come in our subdivision?
Word will get out and then there could be crime in our neighborhood because of this happening!
How would you feel if this happen to where you lived?

Sun Communities maintenance supervisor/park manager

Maintenance Supervisor (EARL) is very disrespectful to workers and tenants.
I witnessed him curse this young lady who works in the office out, over some hot dogs. he was very nasty. he also told me and my husband we need to remove our camper A.S.A.P because a tree fell on it while we were inside sleeping. this tree is rotten from inside you can clearly see it and we had 2 weeks into the end of the month to remove it. he kept nagging and nagging for us to move immediately. the Park Manager (Gail) does not know what she is doing. she listens to this (EARL) guy who is just maintenance. i don't appreciate my home situations discussed with the Maintenance crew. that is very nonprofessional. this park is a joke there is always a flood when it rains, you cant hang clothes out to dry on the line because Maintenance will not fix it. Bathrooms need a make over everything is falling apart. the park manager (Gail)with (Earl) was caught moving her refrigerator from her home and placing it in the club house. then i saw a furniture truck bringing in her new fridge. who keeps up with the expenses. why should she get a new fridge and the club house an old one? we also witnessed new furniture being dropped off at her house in the park and wrote it off under Mills Creek expenses. she claimed the new park model furniture was ruined by tenants. why has no one verified this. this park is ridiculous. it seems there are no audits being done here. so i will get all facts and bring them down.

Sun Communities sky harbor cheektowaga ny

I am a homeowner in a Sun Community (Sky Harbor) in Cheektowaga N.Y. This past week the management here has put dilapidated run down 1960's abandoned homes up for sale. I have one of these garbage dumps in my back yard. The last person who lived in it was a drug addict who destroyed what of left of it. This place stinks like feces and garbage. It has walls destroyed as well as the floors and is dangerous. Now the management here after telling me these places would be removed have decided to sell them. The neighbors are disgusted. This eye soar has caused nothing but problems. How can this company of which I am a shareholder do this? They put brand new homes next to these dumps. The residents here will again be forced into calling the department of health to assist us because of a poor management decision. I understand the financial costs in removing them but this is a quality of life issue and goes against all of Sun Communities promises. I am disgusted with this situation. I have four of these dumps on my block. 83 Jenny lane, 19, 22 &31 Tammy lane. I am now embarrassed to live here in a Sun Community. This needs to be taken care of if Sun expects people to buy decent homes here. I have been complaining for years to the management here about specifically 31 Tammy Lane and 83 Jenny lane . I have one across from my new home and one is right behind my new home. They are destroying the look of this neighborhood. I do have pictures and video relating to problems with these run down homes.

This place is a joke! We tried to make are yard look good and do Improvments but instead we got written up for violations. The management and staff are just straight up rude. Oh and let’s talk about the 2 newest maintenance men. One is always do all the work while the other sits in his truck at his gfs house.. also he doesn’t stop at stop signs.. front office ignores all complaints and don’t care what’s going on.

The front office continues to harass qnd accuse me of not paying my rent ! I have proof every time ! They continue to send certified letters of eviction on a regular basis ! I email the proof and the still do not reply or stop accusing me of non payment .I firmly believe this is to get people to move so they can knock down old homes and put new ones that are on back order and are panicked because they do not have enough room for them.

Sun Communities security

I have lived in this park for 8 years now and I have never seen it this bad there is so many teenagers walking around after dark and breaking into homes vehicles and stealing right out of yards. I have been robbed once while I was working inside my home and now Sunday may 28th my car was broken into and stole things from my car. Something needs to happen this is getting out of hand here In monroe Elizabeth woods and frenchtown villa we habe no security at all I don't even feel safe at all.

Sun Communities unethical behavior

On may 13th 2018 there was a pull behind trailer that was parked in a site that is much too small for a big trailer. The trailer blocks the view of the road because there is a bend there and we have elderly people in our park that walks and also have children that reside in a home around the bend. It had backed in and is there now as we speak. We have complained of this situation numerous of times to management. It is an accident just waiting to happen!
As I bodly said outloud of h* no not again! I had went over to my neighbors and we were discussing this situation again and around the corner comes joyce hornsbee yelling what the f* are you harrassing the new residences?!
As I was coming off their porch to let her know what we were discussing again and not harrassing anyone she walked away from me as I was trying to catch up with her, I decided to turn back and go get my pet and take a walk. As I was walking in the front of the park I saw the neighbor across from me (which were friends of the ones that had parked there) as I was talking to him about no body harrassing noone, we have had numerous compaints about this situation joyce came out of her home and pointing her finger at me as I proceeded to walk away and went and told the man who does she think she is? For one, joyce had no right to comfront him like that and for another I can talk to whoever I choose to without her permission.
As far as her mouth and behavior from being a park manager is unethical and uncallled for! She was yelling abruptly loudly and others are hearing her and i.

When Mom died it broke the lease she cannot pay . Send her the bill. Her name was on there. . Why am I having to pay a bill for a home that someone is living in
